Roll a Nine: Seashore Field: Split down the middle between land and sea, this field compliments land and water type pokemon. On the west end of the field is the land section: fine grained sand gradually slopes downward to meet the salt water on the east end of the battleground. A single palm tree wavers lightly in the breeze while shells are scattered in random places in and on the sand. In the water half of the battleground, the water laps at the sand much like at a real beach; when it retracts it leaves behind strands of seaweed and pieces of coral. Both are found under the water, offering shelter for water-types (or those who can hold their breath for great periods of times). This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to GROUND and WATER type attacks.

Gangrel ran up the palm tree, settling in to wait for his opponent. Walpurgis sat down in the sand as he too waited for their opponent.

Natalie enters the stadium with Dusty perched on her shoulder. Dusty flew off her trainer's shoulder as soon as the entered the stadium. Natalie looked around to look for their opponent.

From within the palm tree, Gangrel smiled, a malicious glint in his now-blue eyes. Ice erupted from the tree, heading straight for the Emolga. Walpurgis' eye shot up, amazed at the display of tactics by Gangrel.

Dusty was shot backwards when the ice beam hit her. She frowned, she didn't know who attacked her. She turned around and aimed a thunder wave at the palm tree. Maybe the opponent is in that tree...

Gangrel bounded out of the tree and glared at Dusty. [Tch.] He'd hoped to catch the emolga with the first beam, but clearly that was not to be. Still, he couldn't allow himself to have a repeat of the last time he fought an emolga. He had to stop the idea of paralysis dead in it's head.

The emolga's aerial ace struck true, and Gangrel was blown back. Sliding a bit, he looked up indignantly at the emolga with now-blue eyes before firing off an ice beam.

Dusty was too slow to dodge the icy cold beam. She was shot backwards, she land on the sand and glared at the rattata before using another aerial ace.

((That was a critical strike, so it dealt 300 damage. In case you are not aware, the formula is (base + supereffective bonus [50 for 2x, 100 for 4x]) x 2 for critical strike + field bonus. So, in this case, it was (100 + 50) x2 = 300, as I get no field bonus for that attack. As such, your pokemon should, prior to this post, be at 550 hp. :3
In addition, you are not confused, just under the effects of taunt. Just so you know. :3))
Gangrel flew backwards from the aerial ace, sending another Ice Beam in response.

((Thank you. I was distracted when I was calculating. The confusion part came from a different battle (I copied and pasted it and forgot to edit it) ^_^; ))
Dusty was shot backwards when another ice beam hit her. She landed on the sand again. The Emolga got back up her four paws and flew into the air. Her cheeks was charged with electricity, she was going to try using thunder bolt to attack the rattata.

Red eyes wide, Gangrel was struck by the lightning bolt. He hadn't anticipated upon the emolga attacking again so soon, and had made no move to dodge. But his eyes again turned blue and a beam of ice was launched towards Dusty.
