As Good as it Gets Community College and Graduation
Matty is a super sweet fella with a love of hot sauce, tinkering, and taking things apart. Though he is pretty dang proud of being being a pretty dang talented self-taught chef as well... Though his momma would argue the 'self-taught' part. [[He really just says that to tease her. He knows where he learned it from <3]] His family up top means the world to him... all 999, 999, 999, 991 of them [[Not exaggerating... Well maybe I am a bit]]! So when money troubles began to really weigh down on them to the point they could barely afford to enjoy the wonders of feasting during holidays -- one of the biggest deals to them as a family -- he decided that he would go to a new place, where the world didn't know him, and try to make a living so he could send them money! The family collectively scrimped and saved up some money for their brave little man to head off into the unknown world of the Below. Leaving home was the HARDEST thing he had ever done, but with so much love and support -- paired with fair warnings and a loving threat or two about certain things -- Matty was able to go. Now, even though he was only accepted into community college and was going to have to work his buns off, this new adventure was certainly a once in a lifetime thing for anyone in his family. As long as he could find a way to help them, even just a bit, missing them during this new life change would be well worth it to him.
