The Grimm gave a good laugh as he tried thinking of different ways he might have been annoying, or annoying habits he might have. He constant need to eat could be one. Clinginess could certainly be another. Then he began to wonder what else... snoring maybe? "Hmmm... Maybe! She hasn't told me anything just yet, but then again we're still newly dating." Snickering as he shrugged it off, he stuck his tongue out. "Well, for all the ways I could be annoying, at least I make up for it with cooking some pretty awesome food!" Then he drew his attention back to the book in paw, grinning as Gly mentioned Malice in Wonderland. "Malice is a great book! If you haven't read it yet, you'll really like it. If you are one to enjoy the strange. And taking as you've elected to hang out with me, I would wager to say you do!" Dodger said with a laugh and a brightness in his tone. He was really glad to not be by his lonesome now. Though he was feeling the need to snack again, so he snitched up a bundle of candy canes, chomping on one right away. "Hant hun?" he asked, offering one up to Gly with a mouthful of his own.

It had been a good while since Bobbi had sat down and focused on relaxing with xyr cup of hot chocolate and book. Some might find doing such during such a festive time was a waste, but every other few pages, the Litch took a sip and peered over the top of the book to enjoy watching others enjoy themselves. Was people watching such a strange thing? The Litch really didn't think so. But as time continued and the hot chocolate was finished, Bobbi had decided it was time to perhaps get a bite to eat of some sort. There wasn't much around aside from candies and such, but when xe stumbled upon a small stand with chocolate peppermint bark, that was good enough. Paying for the goods, Bobbi happily accepted the bag of chocolate peppermint wonder and opened it as xe walked about once more, snacking oh so happily on the deliciously tasting candy.
Matty's brows raised inquisitively and he smirked in great amusement. "Ooooh. Well baby, I promise I'll be a good first Goblin to you~" he said with seductive tone in his voice, giving a wink in return. But that darling little fluffbug managed to remind him that he wasn't totally smooth as Ryker gave a laugh at her protesting. "Said every woman, ever!" he laughed out. Then he sighed in great relief. "Thank goodness, 'cause I dunno about you, but I need someone to show me to some actual food. I'm all for junk food at festivals, but my stomach is gonna start eating me from the inside out!"
And yet, after his new friend's pose -- and the fuss of the necklace giving him some grief -- food was the entirely last thing on his mind as he laughed. Before Ryker could protest, Matty pulled his new phone out of his pocket and took a quick snapshot of the ducky lips. Grinning he teased. "Perfect! This will go great with my future need for blackmail!" He tucked the phone away before it could be snitched out of his hold. "So you gonna show me some food before I turn into goop? Or am I going to have to survive on peanut brittle?" Matty said, snitching up a pack of the stuff... though he wouldn't have minded if that was all he had to eat for the moment. It was really tasty.

Exodus had decided he wanted to wander about some more to see what other things the festivities might hold. Though he was still baffled as to what to do about the plush that was now his for some reason. Maybe it was someone's way of trying to cheer him up. Others were always telling him not to look so grumpy, but he wasn't. It was just kind of how his face fell. Ah well. Shrugging off the thoughts, Exodus made his way about. There was some delicious looking mints in a bag, so he was more than happy to take them off the vendor's hands. As he popped a couple in his mouth, another Nightmare shoved another plushie at him before dashing away. "What the what?" he said, groaning. He didn't want another one of these things! Seeing a kid nearby, he walked over and placed it on their shoulder. "Here you go kid. Toys aren't my thing." He did his best to offer a smile before he went on his way. Well, even if the plush was no use to him, hopefully that kid would like it.
Caron spent some time with his moon stone before he headed out into the festival. He looked around for something to do, he saw a booth giving away candy canes. So he went and took a bundle, then he saw a pretty nightmare being. Curious about the nightmares he decided to go and meet her and see if they could be friends. He wondered how her kind felt about the fey. She didn't look like a demon, so maybe she would want to play with him. Caron went up to Dianthe and said "Greeting fair maiden, I am Caron. I was wondering if you would like to go about the festival with me??" Caron offered her one of his candycanes and smiled at her with confidence. "Please fair maiden??"

Dianthe had decided to sit down on a plastic chair in the little stall so she wouldn't block the line. She had purchased a cup of hot chocolate, but had yet to decide which treat she wanted to enjoy with it. The little Litch almost didn't notice the other Freshling approach her, but turned her attention from the menu bars the him when she spoke to her. He didn't look like any Freshling she had ever seen before with his large shimmering wings and his fuzzy green antennae. She had also never been called 'fair', nor a 'maiden'. This, she concluded, must be a Daydream. Her mind whirred, taking in all of the possible outcomes of joining him in his exploration of the fesival. She would have the chance to learn first-hand about the world of Above, and about his new (to her) race! All wrapped in a bow that he was a charming fellow, and she wouldn't have to be alone anymore. "Alright," she said demurely, taking the candy cane he had offered her and getting out of her seat. His offering had resolved her little snack problem, so she had no qualms about leaving the little stall. "My name is Dianthe, it's nice to meet you." she said politely, formally introducing herself. "I'm a Litch, and I go to Asphodel Gardens Academy. Are you a Daydream?" she asked as she made her way out of the stall and into the pathway, her golden eyes glittering as she took a lick of her red-and-white-striped treat.

Caron smiled when Dia said she would go about the festival with him. He grinned and pulled out a candy cane to lick as well. "I am very pleased you decided to go around the festival with me Dianthe, your name is lovely by the way" He said he a friendly tone. "Yes I'm a daydream and your a nightmare right?? Oh a litch?? I'm a fey." He said fluttering his wings "I will be going to school at the academy too." Caron said with a nod "I'm in house Eldritch, I'm interested in studying history. Do you have a favorite subject??" Caron asked

Dianthe smiled along with the grinning boy, not really paying attention to where they were wandering. Her smile widened a little when he complimented her on her name, causing her cheeks to glow faintly. "Thank you Caron. I'm happy that you're happy." sh replied, mimicking his tone. She nodded regally to his observations on her race, taking note of the name of his own race. "Fey. Also a lovely name." she murmured, mostly to herself, watching him flutter his wings. She was pleased to find out he would be in her Academy house, which meant she would be seeing him around more often. Her eyes widened when he told her his study of interest, which caused her to stop and fully face him. "I'm also in Eldritch! I want to study history too, specifically history of Above. It's my favorite subject too." She told him earnestly, glad they shared more interests than she could have hoped. "Nightmares don't know really anything about Above, and I want to help learn more. Maybe I'll write a book on it when I'm older, if my research goes well. What history do you want to study?"
Caron smiled at Dia as they walked along, also not caring where they went. He was enjoying his encounter with Dia very much. "Yes the name of my people is nice." Caron rolled his eyes "Some daydreams are annoying though, I'm not a big elf fan, they are so full of themselves sometimes." he sighed. Caron stopped as well "Really wow, perhaps we can exchange notes, I don't know much about nightmare history and you don't know much about daydream history. Perhaps when we grow up we could work together to compile a more complete history of both Above and Bellow." Caron said with a grin "Maybe when we grow up we can do more to help both our people see the amazing history of all our races." Caron's head spun with all he and Dia might be able to do together.

Kara joined Odessa for a cup of warm liquid when she saw a cute little plushie laying on the ground. She frowned and picked it up, looking to see if it belonged to anyone. Despite being there it seemed to be in good condition. When no one claimed it she supposed she could keep it for herself.
Anara eyed her carefully, a frown was written on her face as she touched the plushie, pulling it a little closer. She noted that the girl would probably change her mind the moment she no longer became useful to her, but she figured it was better to accept her offer instead of angering her."I'm different because I'm a mutant..." She shook her head a little. "All mutants have something different about them... and since it wasn't all that long ago I'm sure you could find others.." She even knew of a couple other freshlings she had attended classes with recently, not that she said anything about them specifically.
Rorie was at another plushie booth, picking out a cute little jackalope when he felt someone knock into him. He nearly doubled over, but managed to catch himself by holding on to the table. The table wobbled but luckily his weight wasn't enough to bring it down. He straightened, tilting hsi head at the other boy, a fallen. "Nothing, they're my eyes?" He blinked. Rorie had been lucky enough that most of the people around him didn't mention how different he was, it wasn't that he didn't know, he just didn't understand why it was important. He knew it wasn't much of an answer, but he really wasn't sure why his eyes were different anyway.

Leddi had made her way toward a game. She pulled out some bills to pay for it, tossing some balls in baskets. She was a bit surprised when the lights lit up, making a faint glow on her skin. "Winner!" The person manning the booth pulled down a purple and pink tiger plushie, handing it toward her.

Kirella's head bobbed in a nod, her eyes were looking at a distant object so it wouldn't seem like she was staring at him. She knew relatively little about children, or what it was like to teach, she had only ever been on the other end before and it wasn't always the best experience. "I'm not sure if I would say it was with ease.. There were times it was very hard, but yes, I passed." She added with a small smile hidden behind her mug. "Art and Graphic Design." She continued, carefully setting the ceramic cup down on the table.
