Although the colleges vary in size from sprawling to very small, nearly all of them will have very neatly kept grounds and maintained buildings. Nearly all of the campuses are fairly new construction and should not pose too many discomforts or obstacles for their student bodies.

Every community college will offer both standard and advanced versions of the core classes offered at the academy, as well as some more advanced courses in the various applications of magic.
While a student can not get an advanced degree from a community college, it is possible to become certified in various trade skills, magical and non, and at least cover the basic education requirements that will cut down the time necessary to earn a degree at one of the big universities.
Certificates:
Activation Aid Bookkeeping Business Caretaking Carpentry Commercial Driving Computer Forensics Cosmetology Court Reporting Culinary Arts Early Childhood Education Emergency Medical Tech Event Planning Familiar Studies Firefighting Health and Nutrition Horseless Carriage Repair Law Enforcement Massage Therapy Medical Transcription Nursing Occupational Therapy Orecraft (like our electricians!) Physical Therapy Portal Repair Programming Real Estate Security Social Work Trade Vampiric Studies Web Design Welding Teacher's Certificate
Just about any trade skill you can think of can be learned at a community college. If you don't see it listed here, just ask if it would be acceptable for the lore and setting of the world.

Because community college campuses are small, and nearly half of their enrollment is from older Nightmares/Daydreams, they do not offer housing at their locations. Because of this, younger students, unlike their university counterparts, will need to procure their own housing right away along with transportation to and from class. Luckily many campuses will have some sort of bus system in place, and arrangements with local landlords to try and make housing affordable.
While not overly present on the small college campuses, it is possible for a person attending a community college to apply to become a member of one of the cadet branches of the academic societies that are found at the big universities. Students who join these cadet groups are still expected to meet the requirements of an applicable field of study for the group and maintain their GPA within parameters set by the society.
Despite they're limited presence, the cadet societies will still sometimes hold meetings and get togethers for members to meet and socialize.
Like at the academy, there are many clubs and organizations that are either controlled by the students or a professor on campus. Unlike the societies, these clubs are not exclusive to one's major or GPA ranking, and instead are more focused on an individual's personal interests outside of the classroom.
Some activities that may be randomly hosted on campus are various sporting events and tournaments for video, board or card games. These events generally require participants to sign up prior to the activity, although sometimes there will be allowances for walk-ins.
The campus will also sometimes host themed movie nights or other social events like dances that are open for any and all to enjoy.
Because housing is not provided, many younger students find they need to hold down a job while they attend classes. Employment will vary from school to school as those located in and around large cities will have more to offer in the ways of work for their student body than those located in more rural areas.

Because there are numerous community colleges spread throughout Below, the staff listed here only pertain to Asphodel Community College as it is the closest and most accessible to Academy students.
This list is currently under construction and it should be, in-character, assumed there's many more staff then seen on this list. If you believe you have a senior Nightmare/Daydream who would be good as a staff member, please post here.

These Nightmares/Daydreams teach the students, and should always be respected. Professors stay familiar with the students. Some professors double as staff members.
