Parts Quiz
These carriages need their crystal stores fixed, we're going to install brand new ones.
Rules:
Roll one 100-sided die, if you score 40 or above, you pass (meaning, your NM/DD successfully pulled out the damaged charge crystals and replaced them with new ones- there are a ton of these). If you score 39 or below, you must reroll - you may reroll until you pass. You must include a small roleplay response with every roll.

Stepping into his second class of the day, Matty wasn't feeling as confident as he did this morning... what with his blurting something out in class like a freshling. All the same, he was looking forward to seeing what this class was like. Cooking class was for himself. This one was meant for a career.
When he took his first look at the parts, his mind drew a complete and total blank! What were these parts?! He knew that he knew them, but his mind was teasing him and saying 'not so fast, smart guy!'. With a groan, he admitted to his first defeat, but he was determined to do better next go!

Given a second shot to prove he knew something, anything about the carriages he was going to be working on, Matty made sure to brush up after the first mind blanking failure. He crossed his fingers and prayed this time would go better.
Oh thank gods! Luckily for the goblin, the third time was not the charm, but the second time was! Feeling a bit better about this score, Matty couldn't wait to go home and tell Ryker and the girls about his first day in school, too!

Matty was ready for class today! Ready to get his grease monkey on and build an engine! He couldn't wait to tackle the assignment at hand! With a big grin and an itch that only hands on could solve, he dove into his project with everything he had.
As time went on, he hardly noticed as he put his all into building this engine. He wanted to pass this more than anything and you could tell. At the end of the day, he stepped back, covered head to toe in grease and sweat, but beaming proudly. He had one hiccup that he had to fix, but it was one hell of a beautiful engine that he was proud of!

Hella started her work carefully, replacing the crystal for the carriage, she didn't want to break the crystal or put it in incorrectly and fail the assignment. So she followed the directions she had learned, putting the crystal in properly so it wouldn't fall out during the teachers inspection. She was confident she had done her job properly.
