 Things had certainly been a lot different than expected now that Matty had settled into life in the Below. Well, if you could call it settled! After all, he and his roomie were great big balls of energy and crazy, then to add onto that, they had decided to bring babies into the mix! They just clicked right off the bat and it seemed the right thing to do for awesome friends like they were! Though, truth be told, after they imbued their stones together, Matty found himself crushing on his buddy hardcore! AH! Conundrum ahoy! He couldn't, for the life of him, figure out how to cope with such feels!
BUT, luckily -- you might say -- he had a great distraction from matters of the heart that he was unfamiliar with! Their chillins. Oh. My. Gosh. Even as little babies, Popple and Effie were crazy lil beans just like their daddies! "Oh gosh! No no Effie baby! That doesn't go in your mouth!" Matty said, fretting as Thing Two was trying to eat the CV remote. He snatched if from her just in time to see Popple crawling toward the garbage can in the kitchen. "What the... How did you get over there so fast!" the rhetorical question came out -- 'cause obviously the baby couldn't answer -- as he rushed over to scoop her up. "Ahhhh... When daddu gets home, daddy is taking a bubble bath break from you crazy rugrats!.. Haha.. rugrats." Oh how he amused himself.Strawberri Stardust Here you go l3 Hope it makes you laugh ;3 <3

 Ryker headed home from his last class of the day and without realizing it, a smile spread across his face. Before, home was just where he went at the end of the day. But now he had a family. It was something he'd wanted ever since he could remember. A family of his own. A pack. True, this was more of a friends having kids type thing, but they were happy. At least, he was pretty sure they were happy. Matty sure seemed happy most of the time. And he liked it when Matty was happy. Liked it probably more than someone who was just a friend should.
He reached the home he shared with his best friend and their daughters and shoved thoughts of 'more than friends' down as he heard Matty talk about taking a bubble bath. "The girls driving you crazy, boo?" he asked with a chuckle as he came in and set his bag down. He picked Effie up just before she grabbed something else to shove in her mouth.

The sudden sound of a welcome and familiar voice made a grin spread across Matty's face as he picked up Popple and turned about, settling the toddler on his hip. "You could say that, baby. You def could say that." He goblin didn't realize that he couldn't take his eyes off the grimm since the moment he turned around. Ryker made him ridiculously happy in a way he just couldn't understand. It took a few awe-struck moments for him to realize how he must have looked while he just stood there and stared. "Errr.. Well! Since you're home, babe, I'mma go take a bubble bath. Both the girls should be clean, buuuuuut... with these two being them, a bomb could drop at any moment! Good luck, sir!" he said, snickering as he passed Trouble One -- as he liked to call Popple -- off to Ryker, saluting before disappearing into the bathroom.
He closed the door quickly and leaned against it, heart pounding as he tried making sense of what he was feeling. He knew what he was feeling, but trying to figure out the why and how and all that other craziness was so hard! Locking the door behind himself, he slipped out of his shirt -- finding a bit of spit-up on it, super attractive -- and started to run the water in the tub as he sat down on the edge.

Ryker chuckled softly as he bounced Effie on his hip. The toddler giggled and reached up to pull at his hair but he managed to divert her attention to his fingers instead. When Matty was quiet for a little too long, the grimm looked up to see if something was wrong. But it looked like Matty had been staring at him, which made Ryker smile a little wider. He couldn't help but wonder if maybe Matty liked him as more than a friend, too. And didn't that just make his heart beat a little faster?
He almost missed it when Matty said he was going to take a bath, at least until the goblin handed off Popple. He snorted at Matty's bomb comment as he took his other daughter. "Right! Well. Have a good bath, boo," he said and smiled before flopping onto the couch with both girls which made them giggle. And tried not to think about Matty...in the bath. "Okay baby girls, what do you two want to do now?"
