~Guilian is born to unknown parents in a distant land beyond the Kawani.

~Guilian's basket is taken in and raised by Aurentia; shortly after reaching maturation, he becomes her paramour

~Guilian decides to leave Aurentia in search of greener pastures; departs, not knowing she is pregnant with his first child: Guiliaume.

~Guilian arrives in the Kawani!

~Guilian meets the Kalona stallion Ariston; the two hit it off and become best friends.

~Guilian takes up with the demented Kalona mare Izusa; ends up in over his head.
~Guilian learns Izusa is pregnant with his foals. This is a shock, since Guilian always assumed he was sterile.
~Concurrently: Elsewhere, Guiliaume decides to leave his mother Aurentia and seek out his unknown father, Guilian.

~Guilian meets and begins a relationship with Luca.

~Izusa gives birth to Nicholai, Antony, and Neve.

~Guilian and Izusa have a difference of opinion over 'loyalty to the family.' Izusa becomes murderous; Guilian flees the region, sporting some permanent physical scars.
~Concurrently: Antony and his siblings are also threatened by Izusa. Antony also departs his birth region.

~Guilian and Antony meet Ariston's daughter Loveless, a fun little filly who adores her daddy.

~Guilian learns his paramor Luca is pregnant, and the two establish a permanent 'home base' together; though neither believes in monogamy, the two have decided to be in an ongoing open relationship.

~Guilian and Luca to Amarantine and Juan de Leon.

~Antony meets Loveless, who is now grown, again. However, she has decided to explore her Kalona heritage and has become a nasty piece of work, training under...his murderous mother. Antony, previously a gentle giant, decides in light of the latest threat to his family to learn to fight for purposes of defense.

~Antony meets the non-traditional but vicious Kalona mare Diabetia, who trains and mentors him in the art of Kalona combat.

~Antony meets Loveless again and prepares to defend himself; learns that Loveless has decided the brutal life isn't for her and wants to make peace. Though initially wary, he eventually accepts. The two begin a relationship.

~Guilian and Vilinia welcome Rosalia, Bettina, and Alouette.

~Antony and Loveless become lifemates; welcome Lessia, Anthone, and Pascale. Antony decides to teach their children the art of combat starting while still foals, so they never have to go through the fear of being helpless. Keeps this hidden from Loveless, who still struggles with memories of some of her previous actions.

~Amarantine, who has taken after her parents in terms of licentious behavior, becomes pregnant. She decides to keep the pregnancy a secret so she can surprise her parents with her gorgeous babies when they're born.

~Amarantine finds pregnancy and childbirth to be a much harder thing than she anticipated, and is depressed by the physical toll it takes on her looks. Unhappily realizes her three newborns are all males: Guirien, Amrien, and Adiago, and therefore much less pretty than she planned.

~Amarantine leaves her week-old babies alone while she goes foraging for food. Encounters a stallion on the way and goes off with him, enamored by the fact he apparently finds her attractive in spite of her weary appearance. When she returns to where she left the boys, they're gone. Not knowing much about babies, she assumes their absence means they're old enough to be on their own and chose to leave.With no further parental responsibilities, she decides to leave the region until she's back in shape and 'fit to be seen'.
~Concurrently: Guirien and his two brothers, after being left alone for three days, are hungry and scared; decide to try to find their mother and go off separately. After unsuccessfully looking for Amary, Guirien seeks out Antony and Loveless, who Amary had talked about in passing. He eventually finds them and grafts onto the family by claiming to be visiting with permission.

~Antony rapidly becomes suspicious of the circumstances that brought Guirien to their home. Eventually gets the truth out of Guirien and is horrified that Amary abandoned the boys. Promptly sets out to try and locate the other two. With no success, he goes to see if Guilian had heard anything, since Guilian and Amary were very close. Guilian had no idea about any of this, and is horrified as well. Guilian joins Antony in searching for the other two, with no luck. Both other boys are presumed dead.

~Guilian falls into a heavy depression, feeling responsible for Amary's behavior by his poor parenting of her.

~Antony and Loveless informally adopt Guirien into their family, though they still refer to one another as Aunt/Uncle and Nephew.

~Lessia and her best friend Seyx embark on a nomadic lifestyle devoted to adrenline.

~Alouette meets and begins a relationship with Damara; the two later become lifemates.

~Guiliaume arrives in the Kawani lands; after encountering Ariston, who clearly sees the resemblance between Guilian and Guiliaume, he is directed to his father and the two meet for the first time. Guilian is simultaneously pleased and horrified; pleased to meet him, horrified he abandoned him (even unknowingly). The reconnection goes awkwardly; Guiliaume, overwhelmed with the reality of his father's life, family, and lifestyle, decides to leave the region and think. Guilian's depression worsens and he no longer leaves the home he shares with Luca.

~Antony and Loveless welcome Lanzo, Azelle, and Corsant. Upon reaching childhood, the foals (including Guirien, who isn't a lot older) begin to receive combat trainings. Corsant and Guirien prove particularly fond of the training and start spending hours in mock fights.

~Foal Corsant meets Mariasha, a filly who becomes his best friend.

~Guilian and Luca welcome twins Laureat and Lauriel. Though Guilian is happy about them, it isn't enough to lift his depression or incline him to leave their home. He remains paranoid about his previous parenting mistakes and worried about history repeating himself.

~Laureat takes over cultivation and care of the family rose garden; discovers a passion for flowers and a knack for making things bloom.

~Guiliaume takes up residence in a French colonial settlement with his new friend Aziza, from whom he is refreshing his French and teaching the Kawani tongue in turn.

~Guirien, who has battled with abandonment and insecurity issues since foalhood, decides to take off on his own for a journey of reflection and hopeful healing. Meets Azimene.

~Alouette and Damara welcome Allarian, Alarn, and Altheus. Allarian begins his lifelong love affair with insects and things than crawl.

~Madeira is born to Guilian's daughter Bettina.

~The Kalona Invasion
~Antony learns of the attack on the Kawani lands and the spread of the Kalona army. As a half-Kalona, he is extremely worried about what the purist army could do to his family. Shares the intel with his mate and son Corsant, who still lives nearby even though he's grown.
~Corsant learns from Mariasha that his sister Azelle is involved in a dangerous mission to gather info on the Kalona herd from within it's ranks. Horrified at the danger she's in, he blows up at Mariasha, who has never seen him lose his temper. She flees in fear.
~Corsant and Antony go to recon the Kalona herd and end up involved in a battle. Antony nearly dies after receiving a vicious wound to the neck. Loveless and Corsant are able to save him with the aid of an alicorn, though Antony will be scarred for life.
~Following the battle, Corsant is haunted by the memory of how he treated Mari and the thought of all the Kalona he killed during the battle, his first ever kills.
~Meanwhile, Lessia and Seyx become embroiled in a different battle. Though the two were previously unaware of the Kalona invasion, they were attacked by Kawani Soquili who mistook Lessia for one of the invaders; before the situation could be resolved, actual members of the Kalona force attack. Both Lessia and Seyx are badly injured in the ensuing fight.
~A long ways away, Guirien has met up with Azimene for the second time. The two are surprised by a Kalona scout and are badly injured before driving off the Kalona.
~Following their battle, Lessia and Seyx decide to part ways for the first time since childhood, to allow themselves space to heal mentally and emotionally as well as physically.

~Guilian gets a visit from his friend Ariston. After a long talk, Ariston convinces Guilian to leave the home compound. Guilian's depression begins to lift.

~Guiliaume decides to leave the French colonial village and try again with his father. Meets Vexen the condor, who becomes his familiar.

~Amary returns to the Kawani lands, expecting to be received with open arms. Goes home expecting to have a reunion with Guilian, but encounters Laureat instead. Laureat introduces himself, then explains to Amary just how bad her actions had been. Amary is appalled to find herself painted the villain and resolves to clear her name.

~Lessia meets Growl while rehabilitating.

~The Great Kawani Fire
~Laureat is able to keep the family garden alive through judicious use of the family spring, but the forest as a while and many of his favorite flowery spots are destroyed in either the drought or the fire.

~Guilian meets and has a brief relationship with the Cerynei Roan, who gives birth to Tokeca. Guilian has no idea Roan was expecting and does not know of Tokeca's existance.

~Guirien and Azimene become lifemates.

~Guilian meets Chii and enters another open relationship with her.

~Laureat meets Lothorien.

~Tokeca leaves her mother's purebred Cerynei herd.

~Guilian and Chii welcome four new babies!
