Their home lies in the shelter of the cliff faces that border on the mists towards the peaks...

	((Please don't use this layout without asking me, I worked hard on it. u_u )) There was a time, when the Islagiatt Herd were more known throughout the Kawani lands. However, as the years progressed and each member settled down they all but vanished from view. Their chosen home remained high in the slopes, bordering on the mists that hid the jagged and snowy peaks of the mountains that sheltered the Kawani Lands from attack and foul weather. During certain months of the year, various passages were barely passable and yet when the snow melted the way was clear. Unfortunately, Yei Umeko often mourned over the fact that there were very few who could ever savour the beauty that existed upon the mountains. With so many of the younger generations remaining on the plains, she viewed it a waste. Alas, the spirits appeared to agree with her and slowly but surely her own children began to tentatively pick their way down the slopes. On occasions the absence was abrupt, but the calling of the slopes would always remain with them and a part of her hoped that some day...they would bring their friends to see what they loved so dearly too... ********************** You find yourself at the very top of the mountain, the mists remain visible not far from the all but 'cold' cliff face. The thundering sounds of a monstrous waterfall can be heard nearby and the tell tale signs of life can be detected through the chatter that echoes from the alpine forests near by. It is by this cliff face that you find a carefully constructed teepee - it appears to have been 'redesigned' to combat the foul weather that often tests it strength. While the land appears to be devoid of Soquili around it's immediate radius there does appear to be a human. He is the bonded of Yei Umeko and is aware of her family in the area (though they are often wandering). Soquili may not be able to converse with him but the heavy smell of these Islagiatt members can be detected beneath the sheltered outcroppings that reside nearby the teepee. It would be right to assume that these Soquili are nearby (though unseen) and you are most welcome to attempt to locate them. Or for those who lack adventure, one is more than welcome to wait until night fall when they are expected to return...

	Name: Achak Known As: 'Silent Stalker' or 'Silent' Gender: Male Age: Twenty Six Years Old Lineage: He is not one of the Kawani, he came from a tribe beyond the mountains. Professions: Scout/Hunter/Herbalist Likes: Solitude, Cold Snaps Dislikes: Unexpected Interruptions Personality: Silent is not necessarily a 'complex' individual. In fact, an observant person (or animal) would be able to read his body language and facial expressions with great ease. Favouring solitude and the tranquil atmosphere that exists on the slopes, he in essence 'matches' that and co-exists with it easily. His exterior is calm and comfortable in his surroundings and he seems completely unaware of the cold 'bite' of the mountain's winds. Often cuddled into a war cloak, he takes a very practical view of the world and what it has to offer. He is not strictly religious and thus the concept of 'gods' are not something he discusses. Coincidence, is coincidence... That's just the way the world works. However, he is exceptionally 'territorial' to a point and has since claimed the slopes as his own. With very few humans other than himself residing in his immediate vicinity no one has disputed his declaration. He has never approached the Kawani lands, nor does he intend to for fear of reprisal. Thus, he appears to 'mimic' the duties of his bonded Soquili and patrols the slopes. As a scout, he's familiar with the lands and it's tempermental nature on occasions. Thus, he deems it important to locate those in trouble and to aid them as quickly as possible (though he doesn't appreciate the intrusion). General Appearance: Silent is naturally tall and stands at approximately 6ft (perhaps slightly under). With a muscular build and athletic frame he would have been quite the catch had it not been for his elusive personality. His ebony hair slides down to reach his back and is often worn loose, he only chooses to tie it up while working with herbs or when skinning his kills. Generally speaking, Silent is always seen wrapped up in large cloaks to ward off the bitter winds of the slopes. Therefore, his facial features and form are often concealed beneath mountains of fur. However, when in his teepee and his cloak is cast aside he is usually in a simplistic garb with a simple shirt and pants of softened leather. History: Silent prefers to keep his lineage a secret. He heralds from a tribe that did not have peace between the Kawani tribe given their jealousy of the 'Soquili' the spirits had blessed them with. Silent had initially been sent to spy upon the Kawani tribes, however as fate would have it he was not able to complete his task when he found the injured Yei Umeko in desperate need of assistance. It was as he nursed this Soquili back to health that he grew to love the tranquility of the slopes and the lack of company or control that had been exerting on him in his tribe. In the ultimate act of 'dishonour' he cast aside his duties to his tribe and chose instead to live on the slopes with his new found companion. Nevertheless, with his heritage easily recognised by the tattoos upon his cheeks he has taken no measures to extend the hand of friendship to the Kawani. Instead he prefers to remain hidden and non-existant to avoid the problems that might arise. Open to Plotting: Of course!
