Journal Entry: Jayoku #1
I guess it was jsut one of those things. When D-corp called me to ask if i wanted another child I was pictureing...oh i dunno...something cute, Perhaps fuzzy like a little door mouse or something. BUt when I got there I got a terrible shock.
Preying Mantis? I was then corrected byt the lab tech, no she was a Indian Flower Mantis. I was shocked, not very fond of bugs either mind you but when i looked into her large pale green eyes I was in love. She was so cute her hair bounced when she turned her head. There is an intelligence about her that makes her calmer than most children her age.
The drive home was quiet but she aws staring out the window the entire time I culd tell she was watching everything zoom by. When I had gotten her, she had no clothes the lab techs had said that she had refused clothing since the day she had been born. I guess i will have to change that.
I thought everything woul dbe great, Chath had turned into such a nice boy I knew he would try his best to get along with Zyanya. But then...she...started do weird things with him. She would follow him around like a ghost, but would never say much more than a couple of words if he spoke to her. And the first night she had came home she ahd ended up standing beside his bed like a ghost, staring at him not saying a word.
Man just thinking about that is enough to make me shiver, like a scene from a horror movie. Yeck. But around other children she does the same. She is silent and basically withdrawn. The only time she has spoken more than a sentence is when she mentioned meeting a boy named Nero.
I remember him, he is Chath's age now, she seemed very fond of the scorpian boy. I should set up another PD with him so she can get more social skills.
Ah well I am sure she is still adjusting heart

I remeber when I got the abc work sheets for Chath. He wasn't too interseted in them but then he grew into it. Well Zyanya is a totally different story. She basically took each sheet and carefully colored into the letters and then asked me what colors the rest of the animals should be. She is quite....different that is for sure. She works in silence and onlys speaks if i ask her a question.
But I posted her first set of letters on the fridge!

Zyanya is pretty diligent and seems to really like teh water color set i picked out for her. You can see where she accidentally goes over the lines cause the colors are darker there. She is annoyed when this happens I can tell by the slanting of her eyes when she is concentrating. Too Cute! Another one for teh fridge!
