[PD] Brisk Autumn Day ~Valens & Zyanya~ [FIN]

It was getting cooler out, enough so that the little boy that was running around had been bundled up in a heavy coat that seemed several sizes to big as if it were meant for an adult with its large hood up, gloves that were also a little bit, a long scraf that had been wrapped around him several times. He didn't seem to be affected by the fact that he was mummy wrapped, instead running circles around the beautiful woman that he was walking with. Lamiah Black had fallen into the role of 'Mommy' quite easily as she had secretly always liked the idea of having one of her own but never had, "Careful not to trip my little horsie." She said, patting him on the head as he came rushing by.

He paused long enough to gaze up at her with big, dark eyes, then gave her a little smile, "Will." He said, then of course promptly started back to his rushing about in circles.

The two of them had been banished out of the place they were staying as LaVey, who was still rather unsure of the 'father' role he had been given by this 'D-Corp'. She knew he wasn't good with people by experiance so she had bundled up the boy so as to keep him from catching a cold and brought him outside to play, to allow LaVey his space while he got used to the situation. He would, he wasn't one to back down from a challenge and all she had to do was assure him that this was just that. That raising a child was challenge.

More back and forth rushing from the boy and she was soon giggling happily at his antics, "What a sweety." She murmured, flushing somewhat. She was very much going to enjoy this.

The night had been a very stressful one, as Jayoku soon found out her new addition to the household seem to have it in for her son Chath. He had awoken in the middle of the night to see the little mantis girl staring at him arms drawn in standing stalk still. Becuase of her pale complextion he thought it was a ghost.

Luckily the dragon Keir seemed to be interested in this little girl, and not in the way that he wanted to eat her. So Jay thought perhaps a little stroll could prove useful. The girl hadn't spoken much, and she always conserved her energy. But boy...at breakfast did she eat. It was like if you kept passing her toast she would of just kept on eating all day. But for a girl to eat so much and yet barely do anything...it was interesting. She hoped that she wouldn't get over weight.

Jay shivered the outdoors was already chilling, her breath was fogging up her glasses, and she looked down to see lil' Zyan struggling inside of her coat (a hand-me down from Chath). The barbs or spears on her arms made it difficult to slide her arms in, but because of how large the coat was the only new problem was her little side legs. She did not enjoy having them hang like sticks at her side.

Already this day was not starting well. Well..at least Zyan was sticking close to her, she gentle patted the young girls head his gaze was now turned watching something else with keen interest. She looked over and noticed a very energetic young boy running around his mother. Hooves? He must be a D-corp child.

Ah this would be a good chance for Zyan to make friends. "Hello there!" She called out heading over towards them.

Lamiah lifted her head as she heard a voice calling to them, turning to look around for the source, "Ahh! Hello." She called back, smiling softely at the ones that were walking towards them, "Come on Valens, lets go say hello shall we?"

The little boy looked up at her from the oversized hood and then gave a nod of his head, "Yes." He agreed, taking a couple rushed steps so that he could catch hold of her hand, holding onto them. They then started over towards the woman who was also accompanied by a small child, another of the D-Corp parents she would guess.

"Hello." Lamiah said again when she got closer. This was nice, to get to meet another parent. LaVey really should try this, maybe she and Valens would have to drag him along the next time.

Jayoku offered an impish smile before looking down at the horse child. "My he is so...full of energy." She commented and taking Zyanya's shoulders manovered her in front of herself.

"Why don't you say hello?" Jayoku pushed hoping that little Zyan would attempt to make friends.

Zyanya looked at Valens her large pale eyes observing him in silence. Before a few small words managed to peep out of her mouth. "Hewo, nwice to mweet yous." She said remembering Jayoku trying to reinforce politeness. She shifted uncomfertably in the oversized coat, it was cold out. She didn't like the cold and these clothes made her feel confined and....very open to attack. Her instincts always had her slightly on edge.

Lamiah nodded her head, agreeing whole heartedly, "Very much so, its why we got kicked outside even." She said, giggling a little then looked down at Valens, watching her boy as he shifting back and forth on his feet as he watched the other child in front of him, then held out a hand to her. A 'shake' his father had told him, a form of greeting.

"Hellos." He said, tail swishing back and forth though only the edges of the tail could be seen below where his oversized coat ended. Was he supposed to say the same back to her? "Nice to meet ya." He said then looked up at his mother to make sure that he had done that right. By the smile he got he knew that he had done well, which had him almost bouncing again.

Lamiah's green eyes went to Jayoku, "I'm Lamiah Black, this is Valens Sammael-Black." The had decided to give the boy both of their last names since neither agreed on giving him just theirs.

Jayoku gave a slight bow, her daughter watching in mild interest and then doing the same. "My name is Jayoku Emehud this is my daughter Zyanya." She replied with a nod and smile.

"Well I am trying to get my little one to ...get rid of some energy but she seems to be disliking the cold." Jayoku commented looking a tad worried about her daughter.

Zyanya looked at the offered hand blankly, and then slowly reached out to clasp it. She kept her fingers slightly curled in so that her claws wouldn't hurt the boy.

Jayoku looked proud, she seemed to be adapting nicely, maybe the inccident at home was a one time thing.

"It is a bit cold out today, winter is coming." Lamiah said looking up at the sky, then gave a bright smile, "Can you imagine? That will be so much fun! We can make snow men and snow angels." He was talking half to Jaoku and half to Valens who had no real clue what his mother meant but nodded none the less. If it excited her then it had to be something rather interesting.

One could tell easily that this was Lamiah's first child the way she got excited over making such a simple thing as a snowman with him when then time came.

Valens instead shook Zyanya's hand when the girl took his before he released it. What was it that the lady had said her name was? "Zyan... Zyn... Zyanya..." The last one sounded right, "Play?"

Jayoku could only smile at the woman's enthusiasm for snow. Personally she liked the look of it but dreaded the cold that came with it.

"I am sure you will have a lot of fun with your child." She said her words turning into a half sigh, she doubted Zyanya would enjoy the snow in the least.


Zyanya wasn't used to this thing called a hand shake and once freed from his grip she withdrew her hand back to her chest protectively. Her large eyes blinked at Valens, play?

"Pway what?" she asked curiously.

Lamiah looked over at Jayoku and gave a nod, "I am looking quite forward to being a mother, it will be much different then I am used too." She said then looked over to Valens watching him as he worked at making a friend with the little girl in front of him, "Let's just hope that his father works harder at it then he wants too." She gave a little shake of her head, men just were at maternal it wasn't their fault, women just made the better parents. Or at least that was what she figured.

"Play..." Valens tilted his head to the side his ears flicking back and forth in thought, "Ah! Can tag!" He told Zyanya. That would be fun! And it involved a lot of running about!

Jayoku smiled and gave an inward sigh. She was a mother to now two children and had no one to really share the joy with. It made her sad at times that they had no father to look up to. For Chath especially. "I am sure he will rise up to the task of fatherhood." She explained with another smile watching Zyanya out of the corner of her eye.

Zyanya wasn't sure what Tag was. Nor did she like the sound of it. "Wa is twag?" She asked her obvious lisp coming through. She shivered in her coat and faught with it to close a button near her throat.

"I do hope so, after all he did help me out when picking out a name." Even if he weren't the biggest help to begin with and kept giving her every name he could think of that meant 'horse'. He would figure it out, maybe as Valens grew LaVey would do better by him? Older kids were sure to be easier to deal with. Right?

"Tag. Is..." Valens thought on that a moment, then reached over to touch her arm, "Tag! Then run and tag back." It was a simple enough game and it involved running! The bestest thing ever! Where he got all of his energy was beyond Lamiah's understanding but she was glad that there was plenty of enough room outside for him to use up the energy.

"Well that is something then. IS he normally distant with children? some men find it hard to adjust, or so i hear." Jay continued on still smiling and keeping an eye on Zyanya.


Zyanya blinked her eyes slowly at him, run around? And 'tag' the other person back? She looked at him and then with an almost lighting movement reached out and tagged Valens back. She offered a small smile, while she whispered "Tag."

"This would be the first time that he's ever had to deal with one, we weren't in a position where we crossed paths with many before coming here." She said, "Where we are and where we were are different as night and day, he's adjusting still from that as well." She should give him a break when it came to playing with the child... or maybe have him play with Valens and go on a random errand so that he had to try. One of the two, she would decide later which one she wanted to try out.

Valens' eyes went wide and then he gave a laugh as he found himself tagged back, then clapped, "Yes, good. Like that." He said, impressed. Alright, so he was it, when she started to run he would chase after her to tag her back.

Jayoku nodded her head and watched Zyanya slowly catch onto the game. She gave a wry smile. "Things always take time, if he is unuse to change it just might take him a bit longer to get used to the lil bouncin bundle of joy you have here." she said with a gerneral wave to Valens.

Zyanya stood still for a moment and then recalled she was suppose to 'run' away. She looked to her mom and then back to Valens eager face, she really didn't want to run but he looked like he really wanted her too.

Turning her hands still brought up to her chest she took a couple of jogging steps away, her head turning back slightly to see if Valens was following or if her mom was going to scold her from moving away from her side.

Lamiah nodded her head, Jayoku seemed quite wise about such things didn't she? She would be sure to take the women's words to heart when dealing with the situation between LaVey and Valens. She turned to watch the two kids as they played their game of tag, it seemed to have been simplified since it was at the moment only a two player game instead of many, "Cute." She murmured, as she watched them play. She thought that it was quite enjoyable being a parent so once LaVey had been given the time to adjust surely he would think the same?

Valens' shifted back and forth on his hooves making a soft clicking sound against the ground as he watch her, waiting for her to start to run. When she did he gave a little sound like a whinny and started chasing after her so that he could try to tag her back.
