There was the click, click, click, sound of hooves on tile as Valens ran along down the wide bike path that went through the park with Ellie not to far behind, he was going along this route today for his run as it was both long, and it was scenic, which made it a good change of pace from his normal runs around the track at the park. There was a lot of colorful things to look at as well, not quite seeming to understand that all the graffiti was a bad thing since it just looked like art to him.

He came to a sliding halt, a bad thing as it almost got him run over by Ellie who had been trotting along behind him. He was lucky enough to sort of dodge to the side and only got tagged by her instead of squished, "Ahh... hahaha, you almost got me." He told her, seeming to have little worry over a situation that could have been painful, after all he had a high threshold for pain as well as a thick hide and head.

He turned to look at one of the pictures, head cocking to one side, "This looks kinda familiar to me." He'd never seen the picture before but it was of a cobra with mantis wings... why did this strike a chord of familiarity with him?

Ellie gave a groan, watching the wheel in Valen's head as they attempt to creak and turn toward the right answer before she gave it to him, "The snake boy and mantis girl from your magic classes." She told him.

Valens shook his head, "Ah! Yeah..." He gave a shiver. Snake... yeah, he remembered that guy, he freaked the hell out of Valens on the basic principle of him being a snake. Something about snakes caused his horse blood to balk and he always felt the urge to either run from Terpsichore or stomp on him... the latter of which would most definitely not go over well, "That's cool, wonder if they know that this thing is here." He mused.

The silver gave another sigh, if she had to guess she'd say one of both of those kids had but it there... it wasn't just a coincidental thing she was certain, "We should get going." She suggested, wanting to continue on the run before her boy got any ideas about graffiti being a good idea.

Valens turned as he heard, and felt, something rather large approaching and his eyes got rather huge as he looked at the oblivious girl on the incoming dragon's back, to the graffiti picture, then back again. Woah... that was rather amazing, that she almost seemed to have been summoned by them standing here at her picture he thought to himself. Of course he started to look from side to side as though expecting the snake to show up as well but much to his relief it didn't happen. Oh good... snakes creeped him out...

He lifted a hand to wave at her but he couldn't tell if she noticed him as she didn't seemed to be looking at him... those things in her ears would make yelling obsolete wouldn't it? What a shame. He hoped that they stopped. Even as he thought this the green dragon, Hinder was the name if he recalled right, he stopped to go and fetch what looked like a... flower bush? He blinked his chocolate colored eyes and turned to look over at his Ellie.

The Silver seemed to be watching the proceeding with wide eyes and her tail started to swish behind her in an excited sort of manner. He was being so sweet, getting her flowers? She gave a smile and took a couple steps toward her friend as he got closer to her, "Hello Hinder." She greeted him, smiling in delight.

Ellie would have blushed if dragons were able to do so as Hinder gave her such compliments, "You are as sweet as ever, dear Hinder." She murmured, setting the bouquet of sorts down so she could lean in closer to give him a little nuzzle of greeting and thanks. She rather wished her boy could be such a gentleman... though she supposed he had his moments even if they were few and far between.

Valens turned to look at Hinder for a moment, then to the one who was sitting on his back waving at him. The horse boy's ears flicked for a moment back and forth then he grinned when his mind kicked into gear and the name came to him, "Zyanya!" He said in a happy tone of voice, tail swishing behind him as he stepped closer to her and her dragon. Getting closer though only made it more obvious what she was wearing and try as he might the poor horse couldn't stop starring... He would blame the bright colors for catching his attention if suddenly his friend were wanting to pummel him for it.

"So... ahh... how have you been?" He asked, giving a toothy grin.

The silver gave a little laugh at the nudge, finding it to be quite amusing really the way that the other nudged against her, "I am glad that you and your girl were out today, it has been to long since we have been able to talk." She murmured, sounding quite happy, then again being a girl she had a weakness for the gift of flowers.

Valens's ears flicked forward and backwards for a moment, he starred at the mantis girl, and then his lips spread into a bright and happy sort of smile that was seen the most often on his lip, "Doing really good." He said, taking a couple steps closer and then found himself looking down at Z, was it just him or did she seem smaller then he recalled too? He really was getting rather large wasn't he?

His tail set to swishing behind him in a happy manner, he was the sort that liked everyone but he had a certain sort of weakness for females, "How about you?"

Ellie gave a nod of her head, "Of course, you are one of my dear friends, Hinder." She murmured to him. He really could be such a sweet thing after all, how he always seemed to be there with kind words and compliments had won her over. She had been taken in by what she thought what his kind heart, perhaps that Silver was a little bit on the naive side but that was just her nature.

She returned the nuzzle before laying down, "Do tell me, how have you been?"

Valens's tail set to swishing behind him wildly and he gave a toothy grin, "Maybe." He said in a honest manner that, if Ellie was listening to him, might have gotten him a scolding. Sure he had a date or two here and there with Damaris but he'd yet to learn the fine art of not starring at other girls... he had a weakness for them among many other things.

Ellie smiled as Hinder came over to sit with her and she settled down to lay down, watching as her boy seemed to be waylaid by the mantis girl. She would have reminded him that he was dating someone else and to her knowledge that Z was as well... but gave up since it seemed the two wouldn't listen to her anyway.

Instead she turned her attention back to her draconic companion, "I see I am not the only one having a time of dealing with their child, that is reassuring." She murmured, it wasn't that she wanted to hear that Zyanya was keeping Hinder's claws full but at the same time it was still reassuring, as though it meant she wasn't doing anything wrong and she wasn't alone.

Valens's ears turned forward in a rather eager, interested manner when he saw the way that her extra legs were fiddling with the edge of her skirt, as though she might actually lift it... then blinked when she mentioned that it was a good thing she was wearing what she was wearing.

He couldn't help but laugh, "Yeah, very disappointed." He said, unable to keep the words from escaping his mouth even though as he said that a touch of a blush appeared on his face. It wasn't his fault, he was a teenage boy and reacted as any other teenage boy would in this sort of situation! His tail set to flicking from side to side and he shifted on his hooves. He rather liked Z, as such he had fun hanging out with her and starring at her. There was only one thing, or technically two, she was missing that made her not be a perfect sort of woman.

Ellie gave a smile and a nod of her head, "I see, you are a very smart dragon, Hinder." She murmured, she supposed that was a good idea. The children would never learn if they didn't allow for them to make their own mistakes, wouldn't be able to get themselves up if they weren't used to falling... though Valens seemed to be the king of falling so that was something that she didn't have to worry about when it came to her boy.

The silver dragon's tail set to swishing a bit and she smiled at her green scaled friend before turning to watch the pair. It was odd to see Valens flirting with another person... but then again she knew that he had a bit of a weakness for girls... well girls and that skunk boy who sometimes dressed as a girl, those were the sorts that could distract him the easiest.

Valens gave a little pout, "Yeah, likely not." He said, he knew her boyfriend and he didn't like the guy, just looking at him gave Valens the chills... but then again it could just be a genetic memory, horses and snakes didn't get along. Strange though that he didn't so much mind Damaris who had a lizard's blood in her. He supposed that lizards were better though, they at least had legs! Not scaly, scary worms... He tried to shove the thought aside and grinned, "Alright, so long as you allow peeks for tall cuties like me I will be happy."

Ellie gave a little nod of her head, it was sound advice but she wasn't sure about what she thought about leaving Valens to try to fend for himself. He was strong, she would give him that, fast, tough, and he could probably defend himself well enough again anything that he came in contact with but... at the same time he wasn't the sharpest tool in the she, "I worry that if I left him on his own he would get lost and never come home... his internal compass appears to be off." She told Hinder before looking over at him and gave him a smile. She would take the Green's words to heart and see if there was anyway to train her boy to be a little more self sufficient, no promises that it would work but she could hope for the best when it came to her boy.

Valens gave Ellie a momentary glance, wondering what it was that she and Hinder were talking about but merely shrugged it off and turned back to Z, giving a rather happy grin when he was told that he could get plenty of peeks, "Oh? I bet I could get more if I picked you up and tossed you up into the air!" He said, grinning away in a devious manner as though he were considering doing just that. He blinked when she asked where he was heading and if he minded if they came along.

"Well, no where interesting. This path goes in a rather large circle and we were running that, I rather love stuff like that. Running, jumping, climbing, it normally ends up with a few bumps and bruises but I don't mind that to terribly much." He said, giving a bit of a grin. He was a very physical creature and to him running was a fun time!
