[PD]Babysitting? [Chath, Zyanya, and Narayan][FIN]

Jayoku sat on a cafe chair her foot twitching in agitation, she had arrived promptly if not a tad early and was now waiting for this 'parent' to show up for the meetings.

She had arranged to get Chath and Zyanya a table far enough away that they wouldn't be able to hear their conversation and yet close enough she could keep an eye on them. Both children looked annoyed at being dragged along.

Chath had been told he would be paid five dollars to keep an eye on Zyan and this other kid that was suppose to be showing up, he wasn't exactly sure why he needed to watch them. But hey five dollars was five dollars and he wouldn't argue. Keir sat or rather laid under the table his eyes closed ignoring the world. Zyan was being silent and looked rather more....annoyed and sour than usual, when he had asked about it she had told him to mind his own business and leaev her alone...siblnigs...what was one going to do with them?


Zyan...was of course sitting at the table leaning on her hand waiting for Narayan to show up. She had been excited to learn she would se ehim again and yet felt guilty for getting him into trouble. Woul dhe hate her now? what if he wouldn't want to talk to her at all??? She had so many questions to ask him about boobies and thing to tell him as well. The info mom had given her had some really insight about boobs as well she had to tell Nara the paintings she had seen in the musuem. about 90% were all nakid women! She swung her legs back and forth agitated.

If an elephant boy could be deflated, then this one sure was. Dressed somberly in shades of dark brown and black, his ears seemed to droop at the sides as his hand was held by JD's. Not because the boy needed the touch, but because JD didn't trust Narayan to behave without the hand holding.

The coffee shop was empty enough that JD decided it might be a good guess to choose the woman sitting near two other animal featured kids, and the one who seemed the most annoyed out of all of them. Seeing her, and then seeing them (what? They looked knowledgable enough. Surely a little naked women couldn't bother any child. Knowledge was good, right? Empowerment?) JD looked down at Narayan.

Narayan looked over at the two 'children', more then readily recognizing Zyanya. He wondered if she was in trouble too. Or if she was going to yell at him for being dragged out... his tail drooped, swishing the floor uncertainly as his nose raised in a wave.

"Jayoku?" he asked, looking over with a slight clearing of the throat. "I'm Narayan's father, JD."

Jayoku looked up starteled, she had been in her own world thinking of subjects she wanted to go over with this parent and now he was here. Her mind went blank. Jeeze....he was good lookin...shutup! Stupid hormones. She stood up and looked to Narayan and felt a pang of sorrow fill her heart. Jeeze this cute lil kid was the one who told Zyan all those things?

"Hello JD, my son Chath and my daughter are sitting at that table is Narayan would care to join them. Then we..can dicuss some things more privately." she said trying to get her edge back. The boy was so cute, not to mention the father was easy on the eyes as well.


Chath looked up as a boy he never seen before entered the cafe, an elephant. Interesting, his father was with him it seemed, what this the kid he was suppose to look after? The kid didn't look like trouble, in fact he look rather down. He nudged Zyan with his foot and earned himself a prompt glare from her. "Is that the kid you got in trouble?" He asked not meaning to tease and only got a stiff nod in reply.

Zyan had looked up and seen Narayan and nearly died, he looked so sad and broken! And it was all her fault! She didn't know the topic of boobies was going to make her mother so mad. She didn't understand it at all. Her antena twitched as she looked in Nara's direction. She really hoped he wasn't going to be mad at her.

JD smiled. Surely this woman was too young to be too stringent? Maybe it was a phone thing, and she would end up being more understanding? "Narayan." he said, and the boy seemed to know.

Besides. Narayan himself was eager to join Zyanya and the new one at the table. It seemed safer then staying with the adults. Shuffling over and staring at Zyanya with a slightly down trodden look, he asked.

"Did you get in trouble too?"

Narayan had.

JD took the seat in front of Jayoku, nodding his head. He seemed resigned to the fact that his son would get in trouble. But also-- this woman was pretty young. Maybe he could appeal to her maternal instinct or... something.

"We're alone now." he responded, leaning forewords.

Jayoku watched the kid move off to join the others and then brought herself back around to focus. And was staring into JD's eyes instead. She coughed trying to avert her gaze. "Yes..well.."

She shifted in her seat, she wasn't usually a confrontational person and was usually bolder on the phone than in person. "I just...don't approve that your son was showing my daughter porn." She started, since that was bascially the one thing she was most worried about. Boobs she could handle. the question would appear one way or another. It jsut came sooner than she expected.

Chath offered the newcomer a wave and hearty smile. He was fully prepared, he brought crayons, paper, playing cards. That way they could do stuff while at the table and not have to worry about them getting bored. "Hello, my name is Chath!" He said introducing himself to Nara. "I know you've already met my sister, so i guess we don't have to introduce her." he laughed a bit earning a roll of the eyes from Zyan.

Zyanya nearly stood on Keir's tail as she scramebeled to stand and meet Nara. She nodded her head at Nara's question.

"I'm SOOO sorry I got you in trouble." she nearly cried out but managed to keep her tone level and not to overly loud. She wasn't the type to become emotional but she did feel responsible for this whole mess.

Wow-- look, the girl was apoligizing! Narayan's face broke into a grin. And Chath was friendly too. "I always get into trouble." was his answer as he ducked his head. So she hadn't gotten into as much trouble as he had? That was good. It woudln't do for others to.

That just seemed wierd. Others, getting into trouble too.

"I'm Rayan." he introduced himself too, looking over at Chath. Well. Chath certainly looked... different. Staring at him, and then at Zyanya, he didn't get it.

Sisters?

JD looked like his sisters. They were all humans.

"How come you sister and brother?"

JD, just as uncomfortable as Jayoku was, tried to hold the woman's gaze. "Narayan has a very... early interest for the female's body. But if you ask him, it's really much more innocent then it appears." kind of, at any rate. The boy had admitted that it was something about the colors and the shapes. Dear god, let it be more innocent then it appeared.

"I'm not quite sure I approve either. And I swear, I don't allow him to look at such magazines." the man paused. "He just has his uncanny knack of getting his hands on Sports Illustrated magazins." which wasn't technically, porn porn... right?

"And they're not mine." he added. Feeling he had to.

Zyanya couldn't figure out why Nara would ge tin so much trouble but she moved over to go sit beside Nara. "Here sit down, why did your dad get angry? was it because of what my mom said? She asked making a mental note not to tell her mom anything again.

Chath smiled and then tried to change the subject no use in having Rayan reminded that he was only here becuase he was in trouble. "it is nice to meet you Rayan, I heard from Zyan you want to become a painter.." Actually his only caught it in fleeting when her and mom were talking but heck whatever. "Now i don't have paints but i do have crayons, do you want to draw something?" He asked trying to be cheerful.

Zyan glared at Chath, he meant well but she was trying to have a serious conversation here! but...then again she wouldn't mind seeing Narayan draw. He did say he wanted to be a painter right?

At the question of brother and sister Chath paused. "well...I am the oldest and mom brought Zyanya home one day. We live with each other and I have watched her grow and besides mom says we are brother and sister. I never paid much thought to the fact we arn't even the same species." he mused now wondering about that fact.

Jayoku listened to JD nodding her head showing she was listening

"Yes every boy will have an interest in a woman's body, I just dont think that at this age they should be....looking at it." That didn't sound right but she wasn't sure how to rephrase it.
"I mean they are so young, shouldn't they be worrying about other things rather than getting boobs?" she asked referring to her own child who had demanded they go buy her a bra jsut incase they did grow over night.

"I guess they just grow up to quickly for me.." she said thinking about Chath and then worrying. He had showed no real signs of thinking of girls at all. Did...that mean he was gay? She dreaded to ask.

When JD expressed teh magazines weren't his, she gave him a look of...right and then offered a smile. "I guess i just overreacted is all..I don't want my little girl goriwn gup so quickly."

Narayan beamed. Chath wanted Narayan to draw? Well. He certainly liked this one. He grinned, in a better mood. "Nah. Da' found the magazine. He don't like it when I bring my magazines into the house" or at least, show them to him. Narayan had a secret stack he had hidden under a pile of coloring books. Because (and to Narayan, unfortunatly) the man didn't seem to have such a burning influence in his sons art work, Narayan knew it was safe to hide such things in that pile.

"Can Chath draw too?" Narayan asked, reaching for a piece of paper and the nearest color. As he reached for it with his hand and held it out for his nose to pick up, he paused.

What was he supposed to draw, anyways?

Well. Deciding it was convenient, he drew a face. And a neck. and.

Yep.

Boobies.

"Da doesn't like them." Narayan annonced. Why else would he get into so much trouble? That made sense... to him.

JD winced as he listened to Jayoku's words. "I'm sure it's harmless, for our chidreln. I don't suppose they really understand the importance or the meaning of..." well. He didn't want to say breasts. It just sounded wierd. But boobs? That made him just as uncomfortable to say. "Such things." he managed.

It wasn't fair that he got so embarressed. No one had told him he'd have to sign up for this too! "I really am sory about this. And I don't think you've overreacted at all." heavens, no. If he had a normal boy he'd be just as annoyed. "It's just that Narayan has had a bit more freedom when it comes to reading what he wants to... and I'm afraid it has gotten a little bit out of control."

It was all those aunts of his. Living in a house where Victoria Secret-esque catalogues arrived every month would damage any boy.

"But he'll be properly punished for it, I assure you." he grinned. "I'm sure you don't." looking over to see he girl, he paused. She sure didn't seem to be the type that Narayan would take to about... the B word. "She seems quite... child like."

kind of. Wicked wings, though.

Zyanya watched at Nara drew and she smiled at the boobs. "Who are you drawing?" she asked curious and reached for a crayon herself and tried to draw a figrue that was suppose to look like herself..though with big boobs. It wasn't very good. Stick figure at the most, with obvious boobs.

Chath..had a sinking feeling. This...probably wasn't going to turn out as well as he had hoped, mainly cause he had a sneaky suspicsion that the reason they were here in the first place was because of the subject or boobs.

"Er..no I am not very artistic, " he replied taking a crayon into his own hand and then attempted a figure. nope..horrible. "but I must admit you are fiarly good at it Rayan." He said hoping his mom wouldn't see the drawing, his eyes widened as he saw Zyan trying to mimic him though.


"Just don't be...too hard on him. I mean your right it is normal for children to have an interest in...more grown up things. As long as they don't get out of hand it is fine." Her daugheter was now interested in boobs she dreaded what may fallow.

She looked behind herself to ee the children huddling around the table drawing. Well at least Chath was keeping them busy.
"Well, Zyan only relaxes with peoples she is familar with or trusts, so if she trusts Narayan then I suppose the whole thing was just me overreacting." she said with a shrug feeling quite stupid at this point.

Narayan beamed as he added hair to the drawing, working with the same color. Alright. So he had only figured out how to draw in one color-- was that so bad? And it wasn't too realistic. ... Well. Realistic enough for Narayan. Big "eyes" and "hair" and "boobs."

If all magazines were made out of women like this. Surely there was some truth in the matter?

"Da doesn't like the pretty women in the magazines. But my aunts do! They collect magazines and go crazy." yeah. Except the ones his aunts collected had wierd names and well... they always got yelled at for "wasting money". How could you waste money by looking at catalogues?

Peering over at Zyanya's shoulder, he perked up. He knew those extra arms! "Pretty." and look, they were drawing future drawings? Reaching for another paper and conveniently tucking the one he had drawn underneath, he tilted his head.

"Is tha' big Zyanya?" he asked, staring. Well. Narayan could draw big Narayan too! Like. The ears being bigger. And the face. And maybe... horns.

Yeah. He'd seen elephant documenatries. The old ones had those horn thingies coming out besides their lips.

JD smiled. "The boy hates reading, and he's been spending too much time with his magazines. I've told him he'd have to do oral book reports, reading a book every two to three days. That should keep him out of trouble, and improve other areas of his... education." he paused, a wry smile. Educatin. That was a nice way of putting things.

"I completely agree." Oooh, did he. Maybe DCorp could do something to Narayan. Was that possible? And at her next words, his expression shifted to one of mild astonishment. Trust, Narayan?

Well. The talk was going smoothly enough. Maybe it wouldn't do to question Zyanya's judgement on new friends. "It's not." he assured the woman. Crap. Hopefully this wouldn't happen again, though. "Narayan's not used to making... friends, so I think he got a little bit too overwhelmed by the entire process."

Hopefully this wouldn't happen again. Hopefully.

Zyan smiled and then giggeled, "you draw waaaaaay better than me." she said watching as Nara and she nodded her head at his question.
"Yah i wanna have big boobs when i get older!" she said making her brother look a bit ill. She wondered breifly why and thens topped caring
"you da doesn't like pretty ladies?" she asked a bit surprised.

Chath KNEW he was going to get in trouble for this if he didn't stop something. BUt soon the subject changed to future selves and he sighed a bit in relief. Though the big breasted Zyan made him feel a bit ill. Hopefully mom won't see it.

"So...uh Rayan you have any other hobbies?" He asked desperate to change the topic.


Jayoku felt much relieved,

"do you know if D-corp has a class that will teach our young ones about...the birds and the bees?" she asked the subject suddenly dawning on her. I mean she got that leacture at about grade five, "Or is it bascially up to us to inform them?"

Narayan's tail _wagged_ at the compliment, and he beamed. He drew good, did he? That was great! At her comment, he giggled. Big boobs!! And then Narayan would draw her and they would become famous for all eternity as model and artist. Wow. That was a good story.

"My da doesn't like THESE pretty ladies." In fact. Did JD ever? The man never seemed to approve of anything Narayan bought home. How sad... "But da's friend Kyle is nice about the pretty ladies." the man just seemed to laugh. And laughing was good.

Right?

At Chath's question, he beamed. "I like dragons!"

That was safe... right?

JD blanched. "We don't have to... teach out children?" he asked. Was there a wild look in his eyes? Maybe. "Most schools teach it when they're a little bit older..." or was it this age? "So surely D-Corp will teach it to?"

There was no way in CRAP he was raising this subject with Narayan.

"Or maybe we can get one parent to do all the talking, save on the trauma?" it was a joke. Kind of. NO. Seriously. JD would PAY someone, if it came down to that.

NOW dragon Chath could deal with. He gave a huge smile relieved. "Yah dragons rock! yOu havn't met Keir yet he is under the table!' he said pointing to a dragons snout that was barely seen from under it. The black dragon opened an eye lazily. Was this his cue to look scary? he couldn't recall all the words Chath had mumbeled to him before his nap.

"so...will you da not like me if i look like them?" Zyan asked suddenly worried. It never occured to her that some people wouldn't like pretty women. She scoweled as the subject made a sudden change to dragons. Nara was HER friend not his!! And Keir was a stupid dragon besides.

Jayoku hmmmed and then shook her head. "I can't recall the age I was in grade five...I think it is abotu Chath's age any older and the hormones hit and then you get a tad late on the info." She replied dreading the conversation with Chath as well.

She suddenly looked to JD and tilted her head. "Are you a single parent?" she asked curiousity getting the best of her.

Narayan didn't jump... really. But there was a slight twitching of his nose as he peered underneath the table. Was there a dragon? Really? ... wait. HE COULD SEE THE EYE!

"I saw a red dragon once. That one was nice. Kind of. It didn't seem to like me, but it pretended to be nice." peering forewords, he almost missed the question.

"Na, Da likes everyone real, I think. And even if he doesn't my aunts will prolly like you. They collect magazines like this. Except its called other things. And you have prices next to clothing and stuff." peering at the dragon for a while longer, he waved.

"Hello Keir! I'm going to get a blue dragon one day." he craned his neck to look at Zyanya. He hadn't asked! "What 'bout you?"

"Grade five?" JD couldn't remember being given the talk. Maybe it was because his school, you just ended up finding out anyways. Bathrooms and the messages scrawled on the walls could become a vital knowledge ground for a young boy.

"You could say that." he grinned, at the single parent thing. "I have sisters to help me out, so Narayan isn't necessarily missing out on the female influence." although it wasn't exactly the same. Having a 'mother' and a bunch of aunts... well. As his sisters said. They were allowed to spoil him. It was up to JD to discipline the boy.

"Are you?" he asked. The woman had two kids and looked far younger then he was. If she could do it... well.

No, never mind. That didn't mean he could do it.

"And if things get really messed up, I do have people to run to." wow. What a cowardly thing to say.

Keir moved backwards and out from under the table he then stretched and let out a yawn. more to show off his large teeth than to really yawn he also stretched out his wings as if being stiff. The black dragon then promptly sat back down and stared at the elephant boy. MAnners? what were those?

Chath looked to Keir wondering what the dragon was thinking, not bad thigns he hoped. "a blue? I don't think I have met a blue." Chath muttered mainly to himself and Zyan took this opportunity to gian control of the conversation again.

"I am getting a green dragon!" She replied eagerly, though she only met the egg she really wanted it to hatch. If anything at all so she could teach it to attack Keir. But...that was more of a secret desire than anything. Though...now her major desire was to grow boobs. Nae was pretty smart she would ask him secretly how to make her boobs bigger faster.


She nodded her head, "yes in my school we were taught in grade five well..more so introduced rather than well informed, and then in middle school we got the real lectures on it.

"Must be nice to have people to help you out." she relpied with an almsot sigh, he had siblings and family members to help even though he was raising a kid on his own.

"I am by myself. Not sure what I was getting into by taking in another child, but...she was too cute to pass up. Besides all children deserve a chance at a happy and content life." she said casting a glance back to the kids. Oh great...Keir was awake.

"you lucky to have back up if things go wrong." she siad with a smile.
