Watercolor - Having an artistic hobby is an important form of expression, especially when you aren't always good with words. Ilya began painting when he was young and quickly shifted from finger paint to acrylic to watercolor. He appreciates the patience that goes into working with watercolor, the malleability of the medium, and the whimsical effect he can achieve through the art. He would have gone into art if not driven by his parents and a need to do good in the world. When he needs to wind down, he can make himself comfortable and just paint; he favors pieces that feature flowers or peaceful, flowing motifs.
Children's Books -- Ilya works with children and has an intimate view of their trials and tribulations. Sometimes it is difficult to get a child to open up to him, and he has always thought that art and literature can be a good foundation for communication and building off of. He wants everyone to have a character they can associate with, and have stories they relate to, so he has worked very hard to create stories that can appeal to a wide variety of children, even those in special circumstances. They are primarily published digitally but he has had small batches printed while trying to get a publisher. He doesn't mind waiting, and does it for the message, not the money. He does the art for his books, if only because he has a hard time sharing projects.
Health -- Ilya is in a stressful job, juggling that with additional schooling. He believes that having a healthy body is the key to having a healthy mind, so he devotes a decent amount of time to taking care of himself. He tries to eat healthy and makes a point to get fresh ingredients whenever he can. He takes care of his body and works out a few times a week; it's a good way to relieve stress and it's a good opportunity to clear your mind and relax.
Gardening -- Because Ilya's schedule is erratic, he doesn't have the time to dedicate to tending to pets; in their stead, he has a small garden that he tends to. Tending to plants started as an excuse to have cleaner air in his apartment but moved into him growing different things and working his way up to herbs and small crops. He enjoys working with the plants and likes spending time doing something quiet and peaceful. Gardening is the only messy thing he can stand, and even then he works to keep everything immaculate.
Virtues:
Collected -- Ilya processes information around him, emotions, and options before acting. He doesn't easily get riled up and typically is able to remain cool even in heated situations. He is calm and diplomatic, and capable of looking for solutions even when met with hardships. He tends to be rational and levelheaded and typically very reasonable. He doesn't get worked up easily so is usually very peaceful.
Hardworking -- Ilya goes all in, without fail. He takes his work very seriously and doesn't skimp on the effort. He is diligent and pays attention to details; he is incredibly aware of different aspects of projects--and the people he is working with. He pays close attention to detail and is detail-oriented. Because he expects the worst, he is typically prepared for such, and always seems to have a backup plan. He is reliable and won't drop the ball.
Simple -- It doesn't take much to make Ilya happy, and his frugal lifestyle allows him to maintain a simple happiness. He wants to do his best but isn't ambitious enough to stop on anyone else to get what he wants, and he can make the best of what he has. He has an aversion to drama and doesn't believe in making things complicated. He is sometimes blunt, but always sincere. He is modest and uncomplicated, and his straightforward lifestyle makes it fairly easy to read him once you get to know him a little. He doesn't have ulterior motives and stays out of trouble; he's fairly predictable.
Righteous -- Ilya believes in following a virtuous moral code and doing the right thing. He is devoted to his cause and his beliefs and fully intends to make the world a better place if he can. He is compassionate and sympathetic and believes in doing the right thing. He does not hold a grudge against slights made against him and is forgiving to those who try to make amends. Flaws:
Serious -- Ilya takes things very seriously and doesn't always have the best sense of humor. He can manage an obliging smile but he doesn't really participate in playing pranks, teasing, or other frivolous fun-having. He is rigid and inflexible in his habits and approach to things, and is very set in his ways. He treats many things like work and doesn't make room for 'fun' when there are things to be done. He is committed and disciplined, but this often makes him seem boring, unfun, or just generally a party-pooper. He will actively try to deter 'bad decisions' and 'poor choices', which can be annoying when such things are generally harmless fun. Though he hides it well under an otherwise aloof demeanor, he is secretly very sensitive and does not take teasing or criticism well.
Workaholic -- He tends to spend too much of his time working, or overworking, and doesn't take time to relax. He can be obsessive over his projects and has difficulties delegating or letting others handle important things because he feels like he is the only one who will treat things with proper care. It's not worth it for him to work as hard as he does only to pass something over to someone who might not treat it with the same care. He can seem a little clingy and overbearing because he is always checking in when working with others, and he is somewhat standoffish and blunt when he disagrees with others interfering with his work. Because of his own choices and inability to share or drop his work, he often winds up overburdened and cranky.
Critical -- Ilya carries every failure in his heart and is hypercritical of everything he does. Any mistake has consequences and he is paranoid that flippant choices can result in horrible results. He worries constantly, to the point that it affects his health and relationships, and he tends to overthink things. He has a pessimistic world view, and works hard to try and create a better world despite expecting the worst. He has difficulties hoping for the best or seeing a positive outcome, so he doubles down on his efforts to ensure the least awful result. He seems to carry the weight of the world on his shoulders, regardless of his involvement in problems or not.
Reserved -- Outwardly, Ilya may appear disinterested or aloof, but he is far from detached. He cares very deeply but to avoid being overemotional or losing control of his emotions, he has worked hard to maintain them. He is very disciplined in this regard, but it can make him come across as very detached or uncaring. He is generally a private person, and the lack of information can make him seem as though he is arrogant or thinks little of those around him. He is distant, not because he doesn't care about everyone, but because he cares too much and it is simply self-preservation on his end. It is hard for him to visibly become excited so he can seem ungrateful or callous.

Eyes: Sharp, pale blue
Hair: White, usually tied up in a ponytail; he has some loose bangs that frame his face but the rest of his hair usually styled to be a bit voluminous and a little wavy.
Face: Elegant features; gentle angles. Usually a patient or calm expression.
Skin Tone: Pale, somewhat snowy or not, depending on how much time he's spent outside recently
Body Type: Tall, broader shoulders and a narrow waist. He is athletic and makes time to exercise so he has muscles, but not enough that he can't easily hide under his clothes.
Clothes: Typically business professional because his work is unpredictable; when at home he likes to completely destress and is often in loose sweaters and sweatpants. He doesn't like to show a lot of skin and likes to have control of the texture that he comes into contact with, so his outfits are typically modest. |

Attacks:
Sailor Scout Attack: Lonely Chill
Sailor Beira gestures to a target within his line of sight and a chilly wind surges towards them. The wind does no damage, but the chill clings to them, seeps into them, and grips at their heart, leaving them suddenly feeling alone and unwanted. They may feel rejected, abandoned, and like they don't fit in; however the player wants to interpret it, they may, but a deep sense of loneliness will plague them for 30 seconds, after which the sensation will fade along with the coolness that accompanied it unless the player chooses to have the sensation persist for longer. This magic can be used three times.
Super Sailor Scout Attack: Lonely Bite
Sailor Beira gestures to up to two targets within his line of sight and a chilly wind surges towards them. The wind does no damage, but the chill is uncomfortable and clings to them, seeps into them, and pierces their heart, leaving them suddenly feeling alone and unwanted. The loneliness is piercing, as if icy spikes are being driven into their heart; the level of pain is up to the player. This magic will last for 25 seconds, after which the sensation will fade along with the cold, piercing pain that accompanied it unless the player chooses to have any sensation persist for longer. This magic can be used two times.
Eternal Sailor Attack: Lonely Barrage
Sailor Beira is able to target any enemy within fifteen feet of him; he gestures and ethereal ice spikes hurl from the sky to pierce the heart of all targets. This does no physical damage and is an illusion tied into the magic; once the ethereal spike has impaled a target's chest, a cold loneliness begins to spread throughout their body. The loneliness is distracting and invasive. The more a target feeds into the loneliness, the greater the spike appears to grow, as though the loneliness is feeding into it. The magic ends after 45 seconds and the ethereal spike disappears. At player choice, they may choose to remain affected by the cold loneliness, but no physical damage is done during this magic. It can be used once. |
