Being a Senshi wasn’t easy by any stretch of the word, and Ilya found that there was no easy balance. He was juggling a stressful job, extra classes, volunteer work, and the careful balance of something he considered friendship between himself and his neighbors.
His whole perspective of the world had changed--again--not so very long ago, and while he’d had time to adjust and adapt, he didn’t seem to know what to do with himself if he wasn’t giving everything his all.
Every now and then, something had to give.
He had been told he needed to fight Chaos.
He didn’t want to fight.
He wanted to keep people safe, though, and after a quiet day at work he felt like he owed it to whatever cosmic forces had decided he should be a Senshi to do his best. He was out for less than half an hour when he felt another energy signature--not a Knight, like the others he’d met, but something soft and good, all the same. It felt like Order, just different from what he was used to.
So, Beira sought it out, meandering quietly through the park as he worked his way towards the source of the energy signature.

Arthuradel was so bored, she had snuck out to go on patrol on her own but she wasn't able to find any youma. So She had made her way to a playground to at least have a bit of fun tonight before she headed back home. She wished she could share her senshi powers with her friends, they would all be so amazed by her abilities, how fast she could run and how high she could jump and of course her magic.
She was hanging upside down from the monkey bars as she thought about her friends. She wondered if it was possible if any of them were also senshi. She was brought out of her thoughts when she felt an order aura approaching her. A new friend? She grinned, maybe tonight wasn't going to be a complete waste.
When the tall blonde senshi appeared before her she swung herself upright and jumped landing gracefully on the ground. "Hi there mister." She called out. "I'm Arthuradel, who are you?"

Everything about Beira was pale, and he looked like he would have been better off in a wintery snowscape than he was here in Destiny City. He seemed a bit surprised to see her there--so young, but in what appeared to be a Senshi uniform. Every fiber of his being felt suddenly alight.
He hadn’t been a Senshi for very long, but already he’d done so much, seen so much.
The Social Service voice inside his head said that a child warrior was a good reason to call Child Protective Service to investigate this, but he had to bite his tongue and will the concern away as much as he could.
He didn’t know what was going on here, or why.
“Beira,” he answered, in a tame voice. He seemed calm, and difficult to read. “What are you doing out here alone?” he asked. She didn’t seem like she was getting into trouble, or fighting, but still…

The man seemed like he was gonna be sick when she got closer. Arthuradel was a little worried for him. But he seemed to calm down.
"I was looking for any youma, but I couldn't find any." She answered honestly. "So I decided to come here to play for a bit."
"What about you? What are you doing out here Beira?" she asked slipping her hands behind her head.

“I suppose that makes sense,” he said, even if he wasn’t sure why she wouldn’t just go home. But, children lived in their own perception of the world. “I was looking for youma, too. Or anyone that needed help. I thought, I might practice my magic some, if I didn’t find any.”
He shifted positions just slightly; she didn’t seem uncomfortable or afraid, and that just worried him more.
Children weren’t stupid, but they were vulnerable, and easily taken advantage of, and hurt, and he didn’t want that for her. For anyone. Senshi, or not.
“I was a bit surprised to see you,” he admitted. “I didn’t know Senshi could be so young. How did you awaken?”

"Hmm, what kinda magic do you have?" She asked curious about it. "What are you the senshi of? I'm the senshi of honor." It was a sphere she was proud of, it felt very knightly like something out of one of her old story books.
"I guess there aren't alot of kid senshi out there." She agreed nodding her head. She didn't know any others personally but she knew they were out there she had seen some at some of the bigger battles. But they certainly seemed rarer than adult senshi, maybe because mauvians didn't like to awaken kids.
She thought for a minute. It had been a while since her awakening. "Well it happened a few years ago. My big sis, oh she's also a senshi, she was in the hospital so I was waiting afterschool till mommy could get off work and pick me up when I suddenly meet a mauvian. Well at the time I just knew it was a talking cat but we catted for a bit and she gave me my transformation pen. But then we were attacked by a youma. The mauvian tried to protect me but she got hurt so I used the transformation pen to become Arthuradel and defeated the youma." She said proudly puffing up her chest at the memory.
"It was a dream come true, I always wanted to be a magical girl and now I am." She said with a firm nod. "What about you?"

She had awakened a few years ago? But she was still so young now!
Beira tried not to let his alarm cross his face, and for what it was worth he was incredibly successful. His expression was still difficult to read, but he didn’t seem in any way angry or unfriendly.
She was a child, teased by fairy tale books that the world was a simple place where good always triumphed, and the hero had to fight monsters.
“That sounds exciting,” he said gently. “It must have been scary. I think even I might be afraid if I had to fight youma on my own, and I’m much larger than you are.” He didn’t want to chastise her for something she couldn’t control any more than he could, even if he was worried that she seemed like she enjoyed being a ‘magical girl’--or fighting.
“My name is Beira. I’m the Senshi of Loneliness. My magic,” he hesitated, because what did it do? It never seemed to do the same thing twice, and he always seemed to have a hard time controlling it, “Is cold,” he finally said, because at the very least, that much was always true. It’s just, sometimes it was cold on his enemies, and sometimes it was cold on himself.
“I have to say, I think Honor is a bit more flattering, though. Aren’t you worried about getting hurt, Arhuradel?” he asked, testing out the name she had provided. “I think this whole Senshi thing can be very dangerous, after all...”

She thought for a moment. "I guess a little bit, but its not too scary as long as I have my powers. One time I got trapped in a mirror world and I couldn't power up, that was really scary." She had had nightmares for a longtime after that incident.
"Loneliness magic sounds interesting." She wondered what he meant by 'cold'. Did he have ice magic. She kinda wanted to see it but she didn't know if it would be rude to ask a senshi she just meet to give her a demonstration.
She shook her head. "I don't want to get hurt but my magic is stronger if I'm brave and face something head on." She explained, she had learned that if she didn't fight with honor she became weak. "Plus if I come across something or someone that is too strong, I can run really fast and I can call my sister or her senshi friends for help."
"It might be a little dangerous but its good right, we're protecting people that can't protect themselves." She reasoned.

Beira considered her words for a moment, and while she wasn’t wrong, it wasn’t a child’s obligation to help people. She had a support system, so it wasn’t like she was completely alone, but he couldn't help but wonder if her parents had any idea--if they would try to step in and stop her, or properly guide her.
There wasn’t a protocol for a situation like this.
He didn’t know what to do, except try and encourage her to make good decisions.
“Just be careful,” he encouraged. “...I haven’t been doing this for very long, but I’ve already met some very dangerous people, who very badly hurt my friends. I worry,” he admitted. “They could have died. I don’t think the other side plays fairly.”

"Yeah I know." She said looking down thinking about everything she knew about the other side and their underhanded and dangerous tactics. "But my magic makes them pay when they fight dirty. It becomes stronger if I'm fighting fair but my opponent isn't." She looked up with a grin. Sure it wasn't that strong to begin with because she was so young but she was confident it would gain in strength just like her big sister's and then the Negaverse would really be in trouble.
"But don't worry though I know when to run away if someone is too tough." She promised. She looked up and noticed a nearby street clock. It was getting late and she should probably head home.
"It's been nice meeting you Mr. Beira. I'll keep everything you said in mind but I gotta go, if I'm out too late my big sister will get worried." She said with a wave as she turned around to head off.
