“So,” Rocking on her heels, Eleonora laced her fingers behind her back and looked up at nothing in particular. “This Senshi that reached out to you…” she paused for a moment to better phrase her question before she ended up getting herself uninvited to this little adventure. “How well would you say you know ‘em?”Wondering why it took her sister so long to ask, Alcor merely raised a brow at her twin and offered little more than a shrug. “If it mattered, you would have asked that before immediately agreeing to tag along.” Really, all Eleonora needed was a simple mention of going to someone’s homeworld to go grab her own henshin pen and ask when they were leaving.
“It’s been a little while since I last saw Beira,” not feeling like it was odd or unusual that a considerable time had passed. For what it was worth, the moment made enough of an impression that it didn’t feel so very long ago. “You trust him, yeah?” Eleonora lengthened her stride a few steps then hinged at the hip to look up at Alcor inquisitively. “Between the two of us, I think it’s safe to say I’m a better judge of character.” The corners of her lips pulled into a widening smirk as her sister stood upright suddenly, acting offended by the statement.
“By the way-” Alcor stopped to open her supspace pocket and from it, she pulled out a fur trimmed coat similar to the one she wore. A piece of clothing collected from her own world when she visited with Dia early last year. “You’re going to need this,” the heavy coat was tossed at Eleonora who responded with an audible grunting sound. “And… these too.” In her hands was a pair of knee-high winter boots.“Oh shi-... his homeworld’s like yours isn’t it?” It was a rhetorical question, obviously. “I’m going to freeze my kneecaps off,” Eleonora muttered under her breath. Unfortunately, the uniform she wore was definitely not designed for anything under 70 degrees Fahrenheit. At least Alcor could always take her coat off in the summertime, and walk around wearing the ice skater outfit she has on under it.
When her sister made no move to continue walking, Eleonora looked around curiously while reaching out with her senses to pick up on any nearby auras, “I take it we got here first?”The Senshi of Cold nodded, “Only by a moment.”

Beira arrived a bit more bundled up than usual. Though his uniform offered him some protection from the cold, it didn’t seem to be enough when there was a snowstorm brewing up on Beira. He hoped the weather would be decent enough for himself and his guests, but there was no telling.
There were two energy signatures already at the rendezvous point and he supposed it must have been Eleonora and Alcor given their relation to one another. He smiled politely when he first spotted them from a distance, and waved briefly when he was close enough that they could see him.
Though they were already in spring, it was a cooler night. The smell of rain was on the wind and he hoped they could get out of here before the skies opened up.
Beira was cold enough without being soaked upon arrival.
“Hello,” he greeted. He knew he was still a few minutes early so he didn't apologize for being late. “I hope you weren’t waiting for too long. Rainier should be here soon and then I’ll take us all up.” He’d had to prepare extra; taking two people up with him was difficult enough, but a brief consultation with Soleiyu had been rewarded with a beautiful gilded invitation. The text was unreadable, but Beira could feel the magic bubbling beneath the surface. He’d been assured that it would help him bring a guest while traveling to his world.
Beira would have brought Soleiyu too, if he could have guaranteed the Mauvian’s safety. He didn’t know what was in the cave, but he’d promised to take him there sometime–ideally, after they made sure it was safe.
It wasn’t usual for Beira to feel excited, and yet he had energy coursing through him. He was ready for this. “I hope you’re ready for the cold. I’m hoping that once we get into the cave we won’t have to deal with the wind, but I don’t know what it’s going to be like once we get there. I really appreciate your help, though.”
He’d brought a pack of supplies–he just hoped it was enough.

It was safe to say that a lot had transpired since the last time she and Beira had spoken and so, rather than give him reason to think she was unfit to help him on his Wonder, Erica squared her shoulders and repeated the mental mantra to ‘fake it till you make it’ before powering up once she was near the rendezvous point figuring it was best not to risk guiding any would-be assailant to their meeting location.
“Looks like I’m the last one to arrive,” Rainier commented once she was close enough to the small group that gathered up ahead. While she didn’t know the two senshi by name, their uniforms felt vaguely familiar in an almost de-ja-vu sense. Not from Alastor’s world but perhaps the incident that happened in the underground subway station that happened a few months prior.
“You must be Rainier. I’m Eleonora and this is my sister Alcor.” By way of greeting, she extended a hand out to the Squire.
“It’s nice to meet you both,” Rainier shook each of their hands then turned her attention to Beira.
“It’s been a while, and here I was starting to think that you went to explore the cave without me.” A small smile tugged her lips; a foreign feeling that didn’t quite reach her eyes but the added light laugh, she hoped, helped emphasize she was by no means offended if he actually had explored a bit on his own.

Beira smiled and seemed relieved that they’d exchanged their names and done introductions already. Not that he would have minded, but it made him sure that they’d all get along and be a good group for this.
He’d given them the basics before, and he supposed it was probably best to get out of here as quickly as possible so they didn’t draw any attention to themselves. The last thing he wanted was for some sort of attack on them when all they’d done was gather so they could help him at his Wonder.
“No, not after you’ve already been with me the whole way,” he reassured. “I had some things come up. Family things,” he shrugged; he was a private person by nature but his secrecy was by no means deceptive. “I’m sorry it took so long. I did do some research to make sure we had adequate supplies, though. He patted the oversized bag he was wearing. “Lights, snacks, first aid, a portable heater–a few things. I don’t completely know what to expect. We’ve got a map, but I don’t know how accurate it is. I don’t even know what we’re looking for, really. Thank you all for your help. I figure, if we go in for a few hours, I’m hoping it’s enough to get a good look around, at least. If not get through the map completely. We’ll see, I don’t want to be unsafe. So if things don’t feel right or you have any concerns, please let me know.”

“Portable heater,” Eleonora chuckled. “For a moment there I thought you were referring to me.” Clearly a bad joke by the way Alcor groaned beside her. “Hey,” she shrugged. “I thought it was funny at least.”
To let Rainier in on the joke she then added, “I’m the senshi of heat.”“Ah, I suppose that makes sense.” Given her uniform with the stylized flame trim it seemed to reason that heat was somehow involved, or fire. Seeing that the senshi beside her had a tiara made of snowflakes Rainier could only guess that she was then the Senshi of Cold or ice-themed of some sort. “On behalf of my sister, I’m just going to apologize now. We can probably expect these kinds of comments through the entirety of this trip.” But at least they wouldn’t have to walk in awkward silence which to some degree might not be a bad thing. But as someone who had to live with Eleonora, silence could be seen as a gift. “It’s ok, I don’t mind.” Work was well, work. Beyond that, however, life was otherwise quiet. Visits to her own world were met with some conversations from her ancestor while evenings were on occasion spent on the phone with family or more recently Jordan’s older brother Terrance. Hannah checked in on her from time to time, but beyond that there was nothing really noteworthy going on.
“By the way I did bring a sketchbook and pens just to map out the path we take.” Unfortunately, she didn’t have any tech on her wonder that could be used to survey the area for them. Drones were mentioned previously but she didn’t think something like that would work well in a confined area. “Is there anything I can help carry? My subspace is fairly empty except for a blanket and some snacks to share.” The necessities that got her through the winter months, surely there was enough room to stow a few things to lighten Beira’s burden.

Beira offered another quick smile. “I’m okay for now.” He knew he had a bit of extra strength as a Super Senshi, but he appreciated the gesture, too. “If it starts getting a little heavy, I’ll let you know, though.”
He wasn’t prideful or misogynistic; if she was offering help, he’d take her up on it as soon as he needed it. He just didn’t want to ask her to do anything extra right now when he was still feeling pretty good about things.
He withdrew the invitation and looked it over. Soleiyu said it would be easy enough to know how to use it, that he’d just feel it when it was time to head out.
Honestly, it was a relief that the three of them seemed to be getting along. He hadn’t known what to expect and his nerves had already been on edge.
This was going to be fine, though. Alcor and Rainier would be as good for the cold as he was and Eleonora was probably a fantastic portable heater.
There wasn’t much else to gain by staying in Destiny City. He extended his hands to the three. Physical contact was never comfortable for him, but his uniform gave him a layer, at least, and it was necessary to travel. It wasn’t them, it was just him.
And, he was ready to take them to Beira and get started.

Of the three of them, Rainier was probably the one best prepared but that was mostly because Beira had taken her to his homeworld once before. She knew what to expect terrain wise having already made the climb once a few months ago. “You might want to put those on before we go,” she advised, seeing Alcor was still holding on to a pair of fur-trimmed boots while her sister hugged the coat to her chest.Eleonora glanced down at her arms with an almost sheepish expression. “Yeah, I suppose that’d be a smart idea.” I guess I just got used to going to Antisana’s Wonder. A place where all she really brought with her was a blanket since the cave, while not iced over like her sister’s world, was still decently cold.
“Hold this for a moment?” She moved to swap articles of clothing with Alcor who in turn traded her the boots for the coat. While the Senshi of Heat worked to remove her gladiator-like sandals, Alcor couldn’t help but give voice to something they both hadn’t thought to bring. “You know, you should probably consider keeping a pair of socks, or leggings, in your subspace pocket.” She should be fine this time without them but wearing shoes with bare feet could lead to blisters on her heel; the fur lining should help but it was hard to tell since technically they were centuries old. “I probably would have if I knew where we were going.” Eleonora gave the boot a good yank and pulled it up to almost her knee before tugging at the laces to make sure it was nice and snug. It took only a moment longer for her to finish up with the other one, “Alright, coat please!”The Senshi of Heat thrust her arm out, hand open in expectation to which Alcor held the coat up by the shoulder to help her twin put it on. Her lips pulled into a thin smile, amused by how ridiculous Eleonora looked in her belly dancer-style uniform and winter clothes that did not match her in any way. “Looks like we’re all ready now.” Everyone looked to be properly equipped anyway. Rainier stood to Beira’s right and offered a hand to him and the other to Ele who readily accepted and immediately grabbed hold of the Senshi of Cold’s. She watched as Alcor then offered her hand to Beira with almost hesitancy movements. Shy perhaps? Or perhaps she doubted her own usefulness. Either way, she seemed confident enough by the way she nodded her head to confirm that they were all set to get this adventure started.

“Sorry,” Beira said apologetically. “I wish I could have given more information. I was worried about things being intercepted so I tried to keep it vague. Hopefully whatever happens up here isn’t going to scare you off. If it goes well, maybe we can make a habit of this.”
He might have been teasing, but there was something good natured and honest about it. He appreciated the three women helping him and he didn’t want to let them down. He knew he owed them all–no matter if they found something, or if they found nothing.
It was safer to do this in numbers, and he was just glad to have answers.
He made sure they were all close enough for him to carry them up to Beria and then, with the Invitation in hand, the four of them disappeared.
