Quote: Disappearances (14) : People are missing. Maybe they’re people you know, maybe you’ve just heard about it on the news. They’re just disappearing. In front of you one second, gone the next, sucked into some between-space. Into some hole that flickers out of sight once it’s swallowed them up. Maybe you got sucked in–right into a strange strange black expanse, with no access to anyone else or any exits. The pull would have been magnetic, almost unavoidable. Some might escape, but maybe you didn’t. Electronics don't work and characters cannot power down. There’s no way to reach the outside world. You might feel the sensation of creatures following you, you might run into obstacles or strange environments in the darkness. While you are in this strange location you may feel hungry but will not starve to death; you may feel tired but you will not need to sleep. Maybe you were lucky and got sucked in with someone. Maybe you’re trapped there and run into someone and team up. One thing is for sure, though–once you’re here, you can’t get out on your own. Characters who get sucked into the strange between-space will not be able to participate in the ORP immediately but will have an opportunity to join partway through so if this is something you’re interested in, please keep your eye on that! If you have questions on if something is permissible, you can PM The Space Cauldron to ask!) Helena had been thinking about the stupid Mauvian and that stupid senshi who had made her feel so…terrible for a while now, and she had decided that she would simply have to wipe them both off of the map. Kill them so that they couldn’t disrupt the city or do anything to make her uncomfortable again. It was a fair thing to want. A fair thing to demand even. She would get her way because such an idea was pleasing to her.
Thus far she hadn’t had any luck in finding either of the two, but tonight…tonight felt as though it would be a good one…and sure enough, just an hour or so after she started her patrol, she had managed to pluck a starseed from a disgusting drunkard and stolen a beautiful violet star charm from him as well…and then had felt the flare of an order aura.
She made her way towards it, moving quicker than she would have thought, but there was a good feeling and she hoped…
And oh, it was so good to know that she was right. “Ah! It is you! I wanted it to be you so terribly bad. I’m going to kill you, okay! I don’t like you and I’ve decided that the best way to fix that is to just kill you so you can’t do any more harm. It would be best if you simply allowed this, but. If you want to fight I will win~”

Beira was out on his own tonight, possibly against his better judgment. Earlier, he'd meandered around the Star Festival--enough to get dinner, enough to accept a star charm.
Now, he was out again, but he wasn’t entirely sure what he hoped to accomplish, but he’d noticed strange things going on in Destiny City, and Soleiyu had said that there were odd things happening. He’d asked for help looking into things but so far he hadn’t come across anything beyond a youma.
…And then, she was back.
He didn’t like how easily Helena seemed like she could come out of nowhere, and a look of unimpressed dread settled across his features.
“...Helena,” he greeted slowly, unnerved by her desire to fight.
And yet–
She’d always been like this, even before she slipped into the Negaverse. He didn’t know if he had the skill or patience to talk her out of Chaos--especially when she wanted to kill him.
“I’m not going to let you kill me. Just walk away before I have to hurt you.”
He didn’t want to.
But, he wasn’t going to just lay down and die.

The fact that this senshi knew her name was…
Rather terribly unsettling and Helena’s brows furrowed. “I’m quite sure I didn’t tell you my name when we last met, so now you’re being quite a little creepy. It’s also quite rude to know someone’s name before they know yours and you haven’t bothered to introduce yourself to me either.”
Her voice had gone from a confident sing song to something a bit more quiet, a bit more dangerous.
Helena’s guard was up, and her fingers itched to just send her magic at him. To punch that pretty face of his and rip the hair right from his scalp.
“You better talk. I’m growing impatient.”

There was a part of Beira that was satisfied that she was the one who was confused, now, but he didn't let such feelings linger. At least he hadn’t had to use magic to make her pause.
“You’re the one who’s forgotten my name,” he answered, but he wasn’t sure if that was just her or something the Chaos had done to her. He’d heard that it could make people change, but…
He didn’t know the extent of it.
He looked over the Senshi and shook his head. He didn’t want to introduce himself but she looked like she was getting impatient. He wasn’t going to get anywhere if she stayed furious with him.
“My name is Beira. When I met you, you were in the White Moon. What happened?”

Helena’s eyes narrowed at the implication that she had forgotten him. Of course. It was entirely possible. She knew nothing outside of Mirzam when she had come into the Negaverse. She had had only the memories of herself and Mirzam, and herself and Aimee to go off of, and that was more than enough to keep her happy.
They were the very best memories after all.
“What happened is I was brought into the arms of my lover and we were bound together forever, that’s what happened. I don’t know who you are, Beira, and I don’t know what you want with me, but I don’t know you so now I’m over here at my Wits End.”
Her eyes narrowed as she shot her magic at him, annoyed that things were going this way.
She wanted the upper hand. She needed the upper hand and now…
Now she would have the upper hand.Kyuseisha no Hikari Sailor Scout Attack: Wits end! Holding out a hand, Sailor Helena says her attack, and a beam of dark blue light shoots from her palm. The beam has a radius of five feet and a range of five feet, and all those who are touched by the light will feel confused, as though they are faced with a problem that they can't see any way to solve. The attack can effect up to five people, and the effects last thirty seconds. Can be used one time.

Beira didn’t need to be hit by her magic to be confused. She seemed so happy. She seemed like she genuinely wanted it. When he’d met her, he had no idea, and now it was too late to process any of it with a clear head.
The rush of confusion hit him again, but this time he felt just slightly more resilient. Maybe because he expected it. Maybe because he had more power.
“I wanted–”
What did he want?
His thoughts were swimming but he was able to cling to a few things, and his resolve was one of them.
He wanted–answers?
He wanted to survive.
Beira couldn’t really focus enough to call his magic, couldn’t really focus much on anything, but– Without a plan, without any understanding, he charged at her and raised his hand as if he was going to hit her. He was desperate for any way to just get rid of her.
Without thinking, it made sense to just push her back. He didn't have a plan, it was just so basic.
Push her back. Push her away. Push her to the ground. Keep running. Get away.
It didn't happen that way.
He had acted, without a plan.
Even if he'd seen the strange rift tear through the empty space behind Helena, he wouldn't have been able to figure out what to do about it. He wouldn't have been able to make a plan to avoid it.
He shoved Helena right through it--and then fell through, himself.
