Crappy Television - Jeremy generally works the night shift, so by the time he gets home there's only weird things on television. And he watches them. Religiously. He's got a vast collection of crappy movies he calls 'classics', and one of his favorite things to do is just go to the movies and see something new, or stay home and veg. He's also a sucker for cop dramas, and wishes his life was more like one.
Guns - He doesn't get to fire his gun that often while on the job (and that's probably a really, really good thing), but Jeremy still likes to take one out and get some practice at the shooting range. It's a good way to blow of some steam and make sure he's still got what it takes while just detaching from the world and putting all your focus on something. He'll head out of Destiny City and do some shooting outdoors, but never hunts. He's more than happy to teach people how to safely use a gun and how to handle and fire one.
Mr Fix It - Jeremy likes to tinker with things—and he's gotten pretty good and fixing them. He likes to pride himself on being able to take care of things himself—and not pay ridiculous amounts of cash for someone to do a job he can learn on the internet. Machines, cars, electronics; he's a jack of all trades and master of none, but he's got no problem helping others. He'll volunteer to help out wherever he can and is well known for being the go-to guy in the area when you need something looked at.
Virtues:
Protective -- Jeremy has been the protective older brother for almost as long as he can remember, and the fact that he grew up watching over someone else shows. He's quick to defend others and is always looking out for people. Sometimes this comes across as overbearing; he means well but sometimes he can come across as condescending. He will try his hardest to protect those closest to him, and anyone who cannot protect themselves.
Loyal -- Loyal to his friends, Jeremy doesn’t flake. If you need something, he's there for you. He'll stand by you for as long as you need someone to stand by you, and he'd be the last person to abandon or give up on someone. Sometimes this leads to him supporting people he should have given up on and putting himself through unnecessary stress, but he just wants to see everyone doing the best they can for themselves.
Confident -- Jeremy has no shortage of confidence, and while this also comes across as arrogant, he is a very supportive person as well. He believes in himself and his abilities as well as the abilities of those close to him. Sometimes his confidence puts him in situations where he is in danger, but he isn't afraid to try anything and always gives everything his best shot.
Helpful -- When in need, Jeremy will be there. If you need help with just about anything, he's willing to volunteer—even if he does so begrudgingly. He can sometimes come across as grumpy about this, but he could never consciously abandon someone in need. If you need someone to talk to, to make sure you get home safe, to fix your coffee maker, to walk your dog while you're out of town—chances are he'll help in whatever way he can.
Flaws:
Brash -- Jeremy's confidence leads to arrogance and hotheadedness; he does not always make the best decisions because he does not weigh risks and consequences and usually acts impulsively. Sometimes things he does or says comes across as insensitive, even if he did have the best intentions. His boldness is sometimes intimidating or comes across as rude.
Overworked -- Jeremy is almost always working, in one way or another. Either doing his job, helping others, or being an overprotective big brother. He doesn't always have time to himself and winds up exhausted and cranky. He is working on time management and trying to better work his schedule, but he prioritizes poorly and places his needs below others, often resulting in his own unhappiness.
Vindictive -- There are some people that Jeremy just doesn’t take kindly to, and if you wrong him or those close to him, he'll get revenge wherever he can. Generally he is mindful of professional vs personal issues, but he will use his job to get him an advantage in revenge if he thinks he can get away with it. He takes offenses against his friends personally and will often remain bitter long after an incident. He does not always think clearly or act in the most responsible way to get back at others, and this can get him in trouble and hurt others who are involved.
Obstinate -- Jeremy is stubborn, and once he sets his mind to something, he sticks to it. It's hell to get him to change his opinion. If he decides you're guilty, you're guilty. If he decides your innocent, you're innocent. He sticks to his guns and will foolishly argue against facts to prove he's right until he can't deny it any more, and even when the evidence is right in front of him he can just blow it off. He's difficult to get through to when dealing with an argument or opposing idea, and this often creates hostilities. He gets inflammatory when his stances are challenged.
