Happily Ever After...Stories - While Jules has always loved to read, she holds a special place in her heart for romance and fairy tale stories. Supernatural, historical, fantasy, she'll read any kind as long as it involves passion, love and a happily ever after. She IS embarrassed of this guilty pleasure, so keeps this hobby to herself. You might catch her in the break room on her ipad, devouring a chapter or two...but she'll never admit exactly WHAT she's reading.

Baking - Cookies, muffins, cakes and brownies...she loves to make them all! Living alone and baking don't mix terribly well together, so when she does bake, her goodies usually wind up being made for coworkers, patients and at least twice a month for the local soup kitchen. Her chocolate chip cookies are simply to die for, but while she enjoys making classic recipes, she also enjoys experimenting with new recipes she finds online or on Facebook. Patients and friends alike love to be taste testers for her yummy outcomes.

Organizing - While's she's not OCD level, Jules loves to organize things. All of the books on her shelves are arranged by binding height, her kitchen is labeled and ordered, her pillows are placed perfectly symmetrical with one another on her bed - even her locker at work is designed to be simple and easy to access. She has a large calendar in her bedroom with a companion journal alongside, both coordinated and organized with her To Dos, her schedule and anything else going on in her life (not to mention, done with an array of happy colors!). She's more than happy to help a friend get clean and organized, be it their house, car, desk...you name it, she'll arrange it so that it's efficient and achieves maximum productivity!

Virtues:

Calm - Surviving in the ER means staying calm and collected even through the most chaotic of times. Every shift she works brings new urgent disasters in need of fixing and without an unflustered and relaxed demeanor, it would be impossible to last through the night. A patient decides to lose their marbles? No problem, she's got it under control. A bus got in a car wreck and now the ER's overflowing with injured passengers? Not an issue, we'll get them all seen and seen fast. The homeless crazy man with one leg in room 8 has ripped out his IV and threatening to kill anyone who puts a new one in? She'll take the risk, if you'll hold the arm!

Optimistic - Uncommonly cheerful, she finds the silver lining in every situation. Turn that frown upside down and be grateful for what you have - things could always be worse! Her positive attitude brings an aura of optimism wherever she goes and even if she may not be the happiest person in the world at that moment, she hides it well enough that you would never know she's not feeling absolutely fine. She may get tired, she may get frustrated, but it won't be a moment before the smile's back on her face and a cheerful comment is out her mouth.

Inspiring - How could a sweet, kind-hearted and positive life saver NOT be inspiring? Comforting, encouraging, tough love - Jules has had plenty of experience learning through her patients just how to inspire an individual or group. Every person is different and requires a different approach (though there are definitely some types she sees more frequently than others). Patients in pain (and pain in the butt patients!) get consoled - oh she understands, don't worry, she knows you're feeling terrible, what a horrible thing to have to go through! Tired coworkers get the pep talk - hey, only a couple hours left, we've totally got this! Sad friends get the hugs and comfort - things will be okay, I'm here for you!
After speaking with you for a few minutes, she'll soon have a strategy on how to approach you. If at first she doesn't succeed: try, try again!

Flaws:

Jealous - Her eyes may look gold, but don't be fooled - she's definitely a green-eyed monster. While she may appear delighted for your good news, she's secretly seething to herself. Especially when it comes to people getting married and starting families. Why should you be so lucky when she's wanted these things for much longer and desired it much more than you? She's worked hard to deserve life's rewards and absolutely cannot stand when someone (clearly inferior to herself) gets something amazing and wonderful that she herself does not already possess.

Vindictive - It takes a lot to get Julianne mad, but if you achieve such a feat, she won't let it go easily. Try: never. Or at least not until she's had her revenge. Her personal journal she carries around (the one that's organized through and through, filled with colored markings, comments and her itinerary?) has a much darker chapter hidden within its pages, filled with reminders of wrongdoings made against her and her intentions on how exactly to repay the offender. Ensuring the punishment fits the crime, the more you enrage her, the more trouble you'll soon find yourself in. Neglecting putting in your orders and consults, leave her with overdue meds to give and they're four hours late? Don't be surprised if your phone alarm fails to go off tomorrow morning and you're late for work (guess you shouldn't have left your phone at the desk..!). Make an offcolor comment that hurts her feelings? Gee, I wonder why your cookie made you sick while nobody else's affected them! How weird!

Calculating - What's worse than pissing someone off? How about pissing someone off and not realizing it until it's far too late. Julie tends to wait until the heat of anger dies down, biding her time and plotting her revenge when the offender is blissfully unaware. Revenge is a dish best served cold, after all. So, start an argument or pick a fight with her - don't be surprised if she acts like everything's resolved and fine, a few minutes later. No problem...right? Guess you'll have to wait and see...but you may want to watch your back, just in case!

Clothes: If she's at work, she's wearing scrubs and a stethoscope. If normally every day wear, anything cute and age-appropriate. Happy colors, patterns, you name it. Good with skirts, denims, dresses, as long as it's not dull and broody.

General: The Quirt Whip (let's call it Baby for now), gains the power of shock. Grows to a full-length whip. Think like, static shock upon touch. Brief sensations.
General Queen: Baby's whip end gets longer, adding distance between Angelite and her opponent. Baby also gains the ability to send more painful shocks to the victim, especially if whip manages to wrap around any part of the victim's body.

History

Ever since she was a little girl, Jules has wanted the white picket fence, the little blue house, the loving husband and beautiful children to share with him. Raised in a loving home by parents who did they best they could for her, Julianne's future was looking bright.

From practically the beginning, she also had a passion for helping others, which sealed her decision to enter nursing school right out of high school. A hard worker, study life tended to outbalance her social life. However, during her last year in clinicals, she met and fell in love with a young doctor working on his residency. After a whirlwind romance that seemed too good to be true, they found themselves married a little more than a year later. They set up a modest home and things were looking up for the young couple.

As Dr. Jack advanced in his career, Jules worked long hours and extra shifts to pay off both his and her school bills. "Baby" doctors didn't make nearly as much money, but it would come in time, he promised. Not longer after the bills were finally paid off, he received his long-awaited promotion and with that, the duo decided it was time to expand their small family from two to three. It was then, after several months of trying, that they discovered she was barren.

Not one to be discouraged, she was prepared to begin the process of adopting a child when her husband decided to instead adopt a new family. Jack's (formerly secret) mistress revealed she was pregnant and the good Doctor, now free of bills and residency, chose to leave Julie for her.

Well, more like kicked Julie out of their large home and set up his new family there.

Taking back her life (and maiden name, even if it was an unfortunate name to have while in a medical profession), Julie refuses to be discouraged. She bought a little house of her own in the bustling city of (you guessed it) Destiny City and landed a job in DCG's ER.

It is here that she plans to start anew - what adventures await her in this grand new city?
