WELCOME TO THE TOURNAMENT!
The tournament is taking place in the Castle in Negaspace, in a large room that has been designated towards the event. It is very spacious and there is a ring where the participants will fight, as well as seats around it for viewers. You are greeted by General Aurostibite and General Xenotime, both of whom are standing off to the sides to monitor.
The rules are simple: fight your opponent using whatever methods you have available to you - physical strength or magic - and whoever is left standing at the end is the winner! Aurostibite adds, in a tone of voice that doesn't quite indicate whether he's joking or not, to please try not to kill anyone.
OOC RULES:
- You have 72 hours to complete the battle! If you are unable to do so, or something happens that prevents things or slows you down, you can just roll the dice without adding in RP to determine the outcome. However, please do your best to RP out the battle, this option is only for those situations where it becomes necessary to do so.
- Dice rolling is mandatory! I know it can be frustrating but this keeps everything fair and even.
- Anyone is free to pop into a battle RP, they are open to spectators, whether you are participating in the tournament or not! Any Negaverse agent or Corrupt or Corrupt Cat is free to view the battles, regardless of whether or not they were in signups.
- If you have any questions, please contact either Beejoux or kuropeco privately through AIM or PM!
THE MECHANICS
Each person roll 1d20 in their first post! The person with the higher number is the first to attack!
Lieutenant / Basics - 20 HP / 1d8-2 attack (a 0 is a miss)
Captain / Super - 30 HP / 1d10-2 attack (a 0 is a miss)
General / Eternal - 40 HP / 1d12-2 attack (a 0 is a miss)
( how it works: roll the dice - if you get a 4, subtract 2 = your attack is 2! and so on and so forth. If you get a 6, subtract 2 = your attack is 4! )
Roll dice -> RP out attack -> wait for opponent to attack back -> roll dice again until someone's HP is depleted first!
The person with HP remaining after someone gets to 0 is the winner!

Sylvite had signed up for this tournament willingly, in an attempt to prove to herself and her fellow officers that she had progressed past the point where she was constantly getting kidnapped and knocked out and stuff, but now that she was here...
Well, at first she couldn't tell if the butterflies in her stomach were from nerves or excitement.
Then, she remembered that she didn't actually like fighting.
Well, she was here now. She would do her best. "Hi," she said, stepping into the ring. "I'm Sylvite, nice to meet you!" She flashed a quick smile at her opponent, who looked like... an actual adult? So that was a thing.
"Okay, I don't think we're supposed to chat much. Let's do this!" She stepped forward, her lollipops materializing in her hands.

Captain Raite had heard that a particular lieutenant would be playing in the negaverse tournament. He had no desire to play in a mock game, which would only serve at best, verbal boasts and confidence. It drew attention, making a show of one self. He had no need for any of these, preferring to stay in the shadows. A farce of a battle didn't suit him, as much as the trill of a real battle did. But still, he found himself watching as Lt. Angelite took the stage. As General Obsidian's playmate, she would certainly have potential..? After all, if amusement was all she yielded, she wouldn't last long.
Apparently, she was up against another lieutenant named Sylvite. These events were at least fair, pitting one against equal opponents. But upon seeing her weapon, lollipops, he closed his eyes. If he thought the stethoscope was a hindrance, it was clear that less could be admired about a weapon based on candy. Though he wasn't yet a general, he was grateful that the days of lieutenant and toys were behind him. Far more than occasionally, the negaverse were wielding jokes of weapons. Obsidian's mocking humor of the organization was not far from the truth. It was yet to be seen if the introduction of the new general sovereigns would change the tides.
Still.. "Haaah." He sighed, but stayed in the front row of the stands to watch. It was merely the beginning of the battle. Lt. Angelite and Lt. Sylvite were recruited for a reason, and if their talents didn't shine in battle – it would shine (hopefully) outside of battle. Or so, he reasoned to himself. The truth of it was, recruitment was based on the whim and desires of their generals and higher. But the battle might still yield information, or a spectacle worthy to watch.
