If Quartz had disliked the choking, cloying aura that Laurelite had once had, it was nothing to this. Laurelite stank of Chaos, oozed Chaos -- Metallia was Chaos, to the depth of her otherworldy core: there was a monstrousness, an incomprehensibility of size to her that rendered her immediately terrifying. She was something humans were not meant to know. Something they could neither grasp nor contain, their minds insufficient to encapsulate her.

He wanted to throw up.

Fortunate, then, that he'd been trained to suppress his gag reflex. An unflattering skill to have had drilled into him, but there it was -- standing him in good stead in maintaining his poise as Metallia spoke.

He looked to her, absorbing her instructions with care and attention, leaving All-One to record anything else of interest, and held himself perfectly still, at chilly attention.

When she was finished, Quartz made no move to go anywhere. Certainly he knew where he thought their skills were best suited to the given task -- the youma grave was for mindless bruisers and the cave seemed designed for sheer idiots -- but the labyrinth was clearly where Quartz's skills, where Schörl's skills, would likely be put to best use. All-One could operate well in that sort of situation, and Barbary's traits might come in handy as well. And, frankly, navigating a labyrinth required some degree of intelligence, which -- in his opinion -- most of the rest of the Negaverse lacked. If Schörl and her people didn't tackle it, who was left that was even slightly worth sending?

He said none of this. There was no need -- Schörl was not well served by needlessly pointing things out she already knew. Quartz simply turned his face toward his General, expectant, and waited.

"Your orders, General?"

Ascendant General Alkaid

Alkaid found the liveliness in Obsidian appealing, as much as she did the threatening undercurrent of violence written into his being. For a brief moment she recalled a man from what seemed like another lifetime - the wild look in his eyes as he charged at the White Moon, the sword he held knowingly in hand - and she found herself smiling, honest and uninhibited. It felt good to stand beside someone that remembered the first drops of blood they had spilled, the first battles that they had all faced together against the blossoming menace so, so many years ago.

As he brushed against her shoulder, she did not flinch, but accepted his proximity. They had seen death together - what was a little shoulder rub by comparison?

"Of course, General." The smile was as close to affection as she could manage, a mix of respect and amusement. Her eyes met his briefly before she saw the glimpse of seafoam approaching from her peripherals. "Come find me when this is all over, if you wish. I've much to share."

As she had hoped, the corrupt drawing near to them stopped at her side and she let her eyes fall from the red-haired General to the Senshi of Seashells instead. The affectionate smile did not waver, at least until her gaze skimmed the reserved nature of the girl.

That seemed at odds with what she remembered.

"Amphitrite," the words were soft as she began and the tone as close to concern as she could manage, "I think perhaps it has been too long, my dear."

Yet as she opened her mouth to say something else - comfort or question was unclear - the all knowing force she had become so focused upon came to life and her own interests were immediately dampened. A single hand reached out to brush a gentle fly away from Amphitrite's face, tucking it neatly behind her ear, and then her hand fell to rest gently upon her shoulder instead. The smile on her lips said later, and her eyes shifted forward to give her attention to the being whose whims governed her entire existence.

The speech was met with unwavering acceptance. Metallia did not speak in possibilities or guesses - her words were truth and Alkaid would always accept them as such without question. What she wanted of Alkaid, of her army, was the Ascendant's only concern. She followed the shadows as they shifted and trailed her eyes over a form she had never seen before, wondering silently if she herself looked similar beneath the fragile shell Metallia's power was holding together. It was simply energy fused into a single being by sheer force of will. She thought, perhaps, only a parlor trick in comparison to her leader's true ability.

Now the question was - what to choose?

Her bright eyes fluttered down to Amphitrite and the hand on her shoulder squeezed lightly. The affection and concern in her face had been re-written with purpose.

"Would you like to come with me, dear?" Where to, precisely, had yet to be decided. She wasn't sure where her own talents were needed most.

Her eyes flitted to Obsidian and then turned, seeking out a pair of golden ones somewhere in the crowd. Decisions.

Lieutenant Domeykite

Domeykite raised a hand slightly and gave the girl that had fallen in line behind their General an unsure but not unpolite wave. He knew her face, but did not know her name, like he didn't know many others around him. His mouth opened as if he might speak - and then his name rang through the crowd so suddenly that his teeth grit.

With a worried expression tossed at his General's back, Domey turned and met the candy-colored eyes staring at him. How many other people had heard her? He ducked his head and slipped slowly away, winding in and out of shoulders with as much care as he could manage but certainly no apologies for the pushiness. When he drew up at her side it was with a small shake of his head.

"Way to get someone's attention, cupcake.."

But the words trailed off to silence as he felt the room shift around him. A whole new wave of nausea hit him as Metallia began to speak - there was no wall to lean into here, no taller General to hide behind. He moved closer to Dia unintentionally, seeking out some kind of comfort from anyone that wasn't a mobile mass of crackling chaos.

He'd never quite seen her so.. real.

Ugh.

There was a command given and he knew, instantly, that the decision wasn't his to make. The two acid green eyes turned instantly and settled on the General he had left somewhere in his wake. The question was there, clearly, unspoken - orders?

Lieutenant Marcasite

"Don't worry boss, I won't disappoint you if I can help it," Marcasite promised to Xenotime, bright and sunny as she reached to adjust the hat that had gone askew. She had a love hate relationship with the hat, just like she had a love hate relationship with her weapon. It's why she never pulled it out, unless she summoned it to joke around.

That was fun.

She was tempted to give Natrolite a once over, but refrained because another person(Amethyst) was introducing himself to her and she gave him a quick, casual salute in way of greeting. "Lieutenant Marcasite," she introduced again, pink lips ready and poised to say something else when Metallia spoke and took on a shadowy from.

A thrill of fear and excited travelled down her spine and she gripped her general a little tighter, feeling the rapid flutter of her heart in an entirely different manner than what Obsidian had brought about. It was a whirl of information that she didn't know how to process, not really, but there was excitement building within her as all of the options were presented.

Her sharp mind told her that she wanted to go to the Labyrinth but her instincts told her that the Rift and the graveyard were better. She could prove her worth, that the hours of training that Xenotime had imparted on her were helping. "Boss lady," she said lowly, blue eyes darting to search the woman's face. "Can we - can I," she corrected because while she would love to stay by the lady's side she knew she couldn't expect it. "I would like to go to the rift, with your permission."

Lt. Prehnite

"My apologies general, simply looking for a familiar face." Prehnite smiled and moved to join her little group, it was good to see Xenotime again, especially to see that she was looking well.

All sense of mirth lost as Metallia spoke, he'd never envisioned chaos appearing..feeling..quite like 'she' did. It was a very real reminder of how much an ant he was in comparison to everything else. It was also, for him, further proof that he was on the right side of things. What force in their right minds would dare to question something like this? Something so powerful as Metallia?

The command was simple, impossible to ignore, Prehnite knew where he'd rather throw his talents; knew that he'd certainly rather have those he knew at his back than strangers. Even if he didn't know them all well, a familiar face was better than nothing, besides he might even have had the chance to make new...friends..acquaintances? "Well, seems like we'll all be busy tonight."

General Schörl

Schörl basked when the presence coalesced and spoke, feasted on the purity of the malice, and reveled in the distinctly inhuman air. The disappointment and annoyance were noted, to be considered, but inevitable in anything with an awareness stretching centuries like minutes with intellects that stretched less than one.

Yet valuable enough with the energy and destiny tied into each starseed that reaches beyond this prison, and has the capability to effect it. Like Elʿāzār's All-One, we can hive, thrive, survive through mangled means and move mountains in our way. Or die by the millions.
Here stands a small gather, and given a mission fitting to test our striving.

The General held out her hands to either side in gesture to the Captain and Corrupted by her. "Our drilling comes to fruition at the gauntlet, we move as a unit. Quartz, you and All-One are our eyes. Ceraskia, you are the hidden knife that flanks and your magic controls crowds should be find any. I'll take point. Starseeds for healing, ourselves or All-One. "

Schörl let her hands drop again, turned on heel and moved with regular click of her cane to the indicated center.

Captain Titanlåvenite

If there was any knowing or suspicion of motivations, of loyalties, or actions, there was no evident recognition outwardly from the generalized malice and chaos that comprised the thing they called Queen. Perhaps individual pieces in Her play on the board, their moves and motivations, were as significant as individual wasps beneath the heels of the Jötnar.

"We hear, we obey," his voice came soft, aimed to the floor. His place was plain enough- where there was battle, there was need for a proverbial 'shield wall', or body wall as it were. The hand wielded weapon in combat. He'd spent long in the Rift as it was throughout his training and searching. It was a good way to see and learn more of the fallen realm. Titan slowly rose and strode to the indicated side for the Graveyard.

Haüyne, Corrupted Super Senshi of Execution

He just wasn't attending. Bus was talkin', but he was staring at some hobbling other captain across the way like a total creeper. Considering he'd said everyone looked like Predator-mode, the corrupted senshi wasn't sure how it could even matter what anyone looked like anymore, no matter how much of a cutie Bomber seemed to be. So what was it that made it so much more important?

Being ignored, when it was something so important to the corrupted, hurt. It was like Rockman all over. As long as they were having their plans attended to, and their hurts bandaged, or their aspirations catered to, they were there for someone. For Haüyne. But as soon as it was something Haüyne needed, wanted, hurt from, sought, they were lipservice and looking away at other people. Looking for someone more willing to sycophant than befriend. "I see. "

"I'll leave you to it." The corrupted frowned, let go of the captain's shoulders. "Right..."

The word just trailed off like the corrupted's feet did in turning, moving away and moving closer as the voice spoke. Shivered, shook like a leaf as the shape formed and pointed and explained, with both hands raising only slightly in outreach to the dark figure, palms up in entreaty. Make a choice of ways ....okay. Okay we all gotta pick something and do it immediately. Do it right and regal. What the hell am I gonna do then? We went into the Rift together and that was bullshit with the Youma. I mean, there will be others along, sure, with everyone here, but apparently just being a senshi is asking to be a target among targets. Which...like...great. Whatever. But the other ways? Mazes are cool. Caves sound mucho boring.

Haüyne took a breath, then cartwheeled over to the side for the blood bath. Don't see what swords and axes will be good for in a maze.

General Xenotime

Metallia's presence among them was an overwhelming thing, even if you had been a part of the Negaverse for some time now. Xenotime stilled as that voice filled the room, attention stolen away from the gaggle of agents that had flocked around her, focusing in full on that disembodied, penetrating voice. Listening intently for updates and instructions.

When they came, the shadowy figure pointing, the general knew where her particular skill set would be best suited, where her agents would be best suite. Marcasite spoke up to request going where Xe would have directed her, and she smiled up at the taller girl, chin dipping in a small nod. "You and I will be heading to the rift.

The other's however--

"Amethyst, since you are not wholly mine, I can only make a strong suggestion, but your sharp mind would probably be set suited in the labyrinth." He was, however, free to pick his own course.

Pale eyes turned to Prehnite, who had just made it to them as Metallia had spoken up. "You're welcome to come with us, but again, you aren't mine." She had seen him fight, though, and he was good.

Neither agent had been corrupted by her hand, and neither had given them their loyalty as their commanding officer, but she'd have taken them. They showed promise. Unlike...

"Natrolite." And here her tone cooled noticeably, pleasant features taking on a strained, faux quality. He could fight, she knew he could. It was why she'd recruited him, why she'd taken him with her when she'd left with the MMA tour through europe. He spent his teenage years in teh boxing ring, and he knew how to throw a wicked hook. The problem was that he lacked focus, ambition, drive. He was a loose cannon. He could handle the Rift, but he might be better suited for the Cave. "The Rift or the cave, it's your choice." She'd leave it to him, "but, keep my warning in mind."

And with that she head to the right, drawing Marcasite along with her.

Corrupted Sailor Ceraskia

She couldn't breath. Ceraskia paled visibly as the chaos that hung throughout the room coalesced, speaking, not just allowed, but through. It brought a rush of goosebumps to already chilled skin, a shiver racing up the petite dancer's spine, and had she not been so determined to prove herself to her lady general and to Metallia herself, she might have swayed where she stood.

Instead she closed her eyes, forced herself to draw in slow and even breaths, and after a moment the air seemed to lighten, just a bit. She released a quiet sigh, opening her eyes again in time to see the shadows gathering into the form of a woman who pointed in indication as she gave direction and tasks.

Immediately the corrupted looked up to the tall figure beside her, awaiting her orders, and when they came, laced with praise, the girl smiled in return, standing up just a little straighter. She fell into step eagerly in the general's wake, offering a single glance to Quartz as they all made their way to the centralized point that had been indicated.

Lieutenant Aluminite

He watched Tourmaline walk away but did not follow immediately. In fact he did not follow at all, a look of contemplation on his face as he watched her walk away. There was a lump in his throat that he struggled to swallow before he stepped up behind Zircon and cast those emerald greens of his towards his general.

Labyrinthite was forever imposing in the lieutenant's mind.

Metallia's voice rumbled, coiled and twisted around his heart, sent shudders down his being as he did his best to listen, to ignore the thumping in his chest. It was fine, they were fine, he was fine. He was okay.

Relax, breathe, listen.

Choices were presented, orders given and the tall man couldn't help but turn to his general for direction, concern churning in his belly but outwardly, he attempted to put a brave front forward. His mouth opened to speak but Labyrinthite beat him to it.

"Collect Domeykite and assemble with the others headed towards the cave. Inform Tourmaline that I will let her and Dia know where I would like them, I have to speak with someone first. Keep your crystal close and report to me if something goes array. It is likely that I will not be able to come assist directly, but I can at least offer direction."

The lieuentant swallowed, nodded his head and went slinking off after Domeykite, a hand reaching around his upper arm when he was close enough.

Quartz nodded his understanding, falling into step directly behind Schörl, alongside Ceraskia. All around them, tiny objects seemed to sparkle in the air -- individual insects that comprised All-One's body lifting off from where they'd stowed themselves and gathering into a momentary swarm like fireflies around Quartz's person, before settling back down onto his clothes.

He left his seldom-seen spear unsummoned, for the moment -- better not to waste a hand carrying it until it was needed. Often two opposable thumbs were the better asset. He could call it to hand easily if danger presented itself.

They waited in the center of the room to see who else intended to match their wits and training against Metallia's labyrinth.

Captain Raite

(accidentally requoted a whole bunch of ppl, sorry for the mistake!!)

Raite sent him a speaking glance with a inclination of his head, and his (slightly) displeased gray eyes. An air of expectancy followed his words.. What exactly, did the general want to achieve? According her with familiarity befitting a playboy was certainly not his style..

But putting aside Obsidian's deliberately frivolous manner of speaking, his actions often were not. If introductions were made, could it be that Lt. Angelite was under his personal command? Or a implicit message that she was somebody to take notice of? The power level of the woman in front of him was clearly that of a lieutenant. But ranks were not to be taken lightly, as quick movement through the power ranks could be achieved with enough effort. Though he had no intention of becoming a general anytime soon, it was not unforeseeable that she would be his superior in the future.

With that in mind, he let his attention be drawn to Lt. Angelite. Several quick assessments were made, though he would allow room for specifics. A women, older than him, but not by too much.. Her black hair and blue eyes were filled with clarity, her movements belying the knowledge of someone in a practiced profession. A startling contrast in comparison to the immature youth, or attempt at a show of confidence as practiced by so many newbies present now.

His lips curved into what resembled a smile, recognizing potential. It wasn't yet to the point he could be called warmly friendly, but marginal interest did exist. "Captain Raite." He said in terms of an introduction, "Provided that you don't die first from Obisidian's teaching methods," by this point, she should have surmised the General wasn't really the kindest of teachers, "and provided you discard whatever sentimentality you'd call a heart -- you might survive?" This time, a wryly amused smile was passed to Obsidian. God knew how the both of them survived.. along with Alkaid and a few others, they had existed in a time when it was necessary to kill.

Metallica's announcement caught their attention afterwards though, and he listened. He then let his gaze draw back to the duo of General and Lieutenant. He didn't have much of a preference between all three jobs (as they were all jobs to him), but it would be interesting to see what they would choose.

Super Dia

Likewise, Dia found herself gravitating towards her two companions as Metallia took her eerie form. The power of her presence - regardless as to whether it was her true form or not - was breathtakingly terrifying. She hadn't known what to expect, she didn't know what she was going to do. This sounded nearly as dangerous as fighting the senshi on their own turf - what were they going to do?

Her voice was low, barely a whisper as she struggled to voice her thoughts to Domeykite, Tourmaline and Lace. "Where do you think he'll make us go?"

There wasn't a question - she would follow the Pack and she would do her best to drag Domey and Lace with her. Safety in number, right?

It was then when she glanced back, she noticed a certain, grumpy looking Lieutenant silently watching from the distance. Go figure she would be here, hmph. Would she be taking the task on at hand as well?

Lieutenant Angelite

She ignored Obsidian's hair tugging, though it was hard to resist the fact that slender fingers were threading through her short, black strands, directly next to his scalp. He was a hand's on type, she knew that, but her attention was focused elsewhere and not on his potshot at her age.

Hell, he wasn't that far behind her.

Playful fingers left as he approached the senshi that resembled a broken porcelain doll. The power surrounding her was incredible - she would have to inquire of her position and history at a later time, when Obsidian wasn't mingling and cheerfully beckoning over other old faces - like the young Captain who was now headed in their direction.

Captain Raite seemed more than willing to divulge some personal thoughts on her redheaded General. Her eyebrows rose at the captain's comments, then a smirk. Hearts and feelings had no place in this world - it didn't take a seasoned veteran to figure that out. "I think I'll survive quite fine - but I appreciate your concern."

Obsidian's personal history was still a mystery - all she had to go on was Obsidian's word, himself. A curious enigma in a General's uniform.

Metallia appeared and Angelite did good not to express how startling it was. The magical world would never cease to amaze her; there was nothing she could have done to prepare herself for it. The instructions were presented and it was clear that the various cliques and groups were making their decisions.

She had no decision to make - it would be made for her.

"Shitcakes ready to come out and play?" Her tone was still light, airy, as if they weren't about to dive into a physical fight for their lives. Better to think of it all as a game, right? "Are we going to eeny-meeny-miny-mo it?"

General Labyrinthite

"Patience," he scolded quiet but harshly. Metallia could not be rushed, no matter how impatient her followers were. She was an all consuming force that lent her seemingly endless powers to those that were worthy.

Sometimes even to the unworthy.

Zircon's voice earned his attention and he sighed, knowing that there was no counter argument to that. "Fine, but understand that where I go, you go." If the woman wanted to put herself at risk again then there was nothing he could do about it except keep an eye on her.

Metallia's voice seeped through him, spoke to him as if he was merely hearing his own thoughts and, as he always was when she presented herself in any manner, Labyrinthite was impressed, humbled. He, like Alkaid, was her ever loyal servant.

Or at least aimed to be. He tried not to think too much about the year prior. That had been different, he'd been weaker, confused. He was stronger, better, solid in his foundation once more. Labyrinthite was stable.

Metallia created an astral form to direct them, provided them with options it only took him a moment to decide what their course of action would be. To Wolfeite and Zircon he said, "We will be embarking upon the Rift journey." It was the best option considering that he would have to reign his half-breed in while keeping an eye on his disobedient captain. "We will go as a team once I've sent the others to their locations.

To Aluminite, he said, "Collect Domeykite and assemble with the others headed towards the cave. Inform Tourmaline that I will let her and Dia know where I would like them, I have to speak with someone first. Keep your crystal close and report to me if something goes array. It is likely that I will not be able to come assist directly, but I can at least offer direction."

Then he left the two captains and headed over to Alkaid. He trusted the woman more than he trusted any one else in the crowd. They had walked their entire journeys in tandem, it was only suiting that he request that she look over the girls that he would be sending to the Labryinth.

"General Alkaid," he greeted, hints of a lopsided smile on his mouth and fondness in his eyes. "I wish to request your assistance with something." He made a point to nod in greeting to those that had gathered, a particularly long look casted towards Obsidian, perhaps he would be able to find time to seek the man out after.

He'd always admired the general.

"I am dividing my team up so that no part of the mission goes unattended and while I trust that Super Sailor Dia and Lieutenant Tourmaline are more than capable, I would be reassured if you'd be willing to lend them your guidance when I send them to the Labyrinth as I will be going to the Rift."

If the sudden sound of a voice from seemingly everywhere startled Noctua, she did not show it. Even her bright blue eyes remained locked on the door from which the energy rolled like waves of hot electricity. Despite the ecstasy that being immersed in the chaotic auras around her brought Noctua, she was still lost in a haze of confusion, and this only deepened it. Instead of looking around for help, however, Noctua bored holes right through the doors at the back of the room, willing them to open and allow answers to flow from within. They remained locked, however, and offered no explanation.

For a brief moment she looked up at Cinnabar. It was true, Noctua could ask her for answers. Senshi... Knights... castles and barracks and whatever else the voice had outlined. In fact, Noctua had opened her mouth to speak to her but... she closed her mouth a moment later. Answers were worthless if they were handed out like flyers. Her father said that whenever he got the chance... and he was right. She would forge her own path for now. If Cinnabar followed Noctua, then so be it, but she had to find her own answers.

So Noctua joined a senshi not unlike herself, with cracks in her forehead and chest. The differences came, instead, with how they were dressed. Where Noctua had ratted and moldering sleepware, this girl was wearing a black dancer's leotard with grey plumage all along the legs and shoulders. Noctua offered no smile or nod, but stood quietly next to her, glad for the comfort that she was not the only one out there whom the others called "corrupt."

Noctua is heading to the labyrinth!!!

General Leucite

When a third Lieutenant approached Leucite nodded his head in greeting. So many Lieutenants, he would have to work with Benitoite, to ensure that they all became captains quickly. There needed to be more to their command structure in the mid ranks he felt. It was hard to delegate things to Lieutenants when they couldn't teleport or ran the risk of running into more than one Senshi or Knight at a time.

Had he spotted Amethyst he would have waved him over, if only to talk to him about how things were going. But, perhaps fortunately for the troubled Captain, Leucite's attention was focused on the gaggle of Lieutenants and his fellow General.

However, when Metallia spoke, his body moved and he took a knee, head bowed in reverence. His hand moved to grip the Rift Crystal Rosary that had been secured to his sash, and he held it tightly in his hands. Her voice washed over him, the words of The Living Saint.

When she finished speaking, he sat there for a small moment, crossed himself, and rose.

Turning to the assembled group he cleared his throat. "Stibnite, I believe our best use will be in the Rift." He turned to look at her, "It is familiar ground for me, and your skills as a hunter will also be very valuable."

Turning to Raspite he nodded his head. "Numbers will be important, I know you're no slouch when it comes to a fight Raspite, so you should join us as well."

Turning to Benitoite, he smiled. "What about you Benitoite? Feel like doing a bit of Rift diving, or are you going elsewhere?"

He had to tolerate others? His lessers? Well he was offended, and the lieutenant sniffed, grimacing at the area before sighing.

General Osumilite

The tall blonde General listened to his leader Metallia's words with a sly grin. It was about time someone he could put his faith in took charge of the organization. The invasion was an embarrassment - he has not served as a speaker of the Negaverse to the public for such a tragedy to just slip by without retaliation. He was not much of a fighter himself, but he trusted his wits - which made the Labyrinth seem like the proper choice for him.

General Osumilite will be going to the Labyrinth.

Super Sailor Typhon

Meanwhile, Typhon was pretty much whatever to what this Metallia b***h had to say. Sure, the invasion pissed him off, but did that really mean that he was subjected to going to speeches? ******** lame, bro. ******** lame. Couldn't she at least come with a cool hashtag like #FeelTheBern? He was just about to boo and jeer when he caught Xenotime in the corner of his eye and thought better of it.

He didn't want to get his a** beat. Not in that way, at least.

Giving a small salute to the General, he followed behind her.

"So, we're off to pound some youma s**t? Schweeeet," he grinned.

Super Sailor Typhon will be going to the Rift.
