There was a part of him that was slightly horrified by how much he had ignored by choosing to stay out of this magical life for the past few years. There was another part of him that sorely missed the fact that he wasn't ignoring it anymore. The Negaverse was very active.
Okolnir dropped down from the nearby fire escape and into the alley way, where he had sensed a chaos signature. Upon catching sight of the women clad in the dark uniform up to something no good, he hurled his metal trash can lid at her. "That's enough for tonight~" He mock chided, clucking his tongue in addition. Those metal trash can lids had come in handy every since he started using them, and luckily in almost all the alleyways, there was always another one to be found. Like so, as he picked another one up from nearby and used it as a shield.

She'd actually been minding her own business, for once, when the disgusting aura had come upon her. Blue eyes widened in surprise as the young man took a flying leap into action without hesitation, the Negaverse Captain having all of seconds to at least drop her communication device to the ground and deflect the oncoming.... trash can lid? The metal disc fell down to the ground with a CLANG as her palms stung from the impact. God, she was lucky he hadn't broken a finger - what on Earth was all of this hostility about? "Enough of what? You were the one who attacked! I was just standing here!" Her whip was safe and secure in the subspace - but ready at a moment's notice, should the aggressive jerk in front of her decide to proceed again with his... crap, did he have another one of those lids?? The White Moon's budget must be sorely lacking if this was what they were supplying their agents with! Lucyal oh no, I hope everything is okay/becomes okay!!

"For now." Okolnir replied airily. She may have not been doing anything right at this moment, but call it a gut feeling that that would have changed eventually. It was nice to get the spring on someone for once. "So unless you plan on retiring for the evening---" He started to move forward, picking up a discarded piece of wood lying in the alley. "You're in for a fight, ma'am." He brandished it like a sword, and continued to advance, his posture tense and ready to respond.

As soon as wide eyes noted the wooden plank aimed in her direction, one hand rose to summon her whip from the subspace. Her wrist jerked, sending a crisp snap through the tails of the whip and, hopefully, instilling enough sense into the White Moon's brain that she was a tiny blonde force not to be reckoned with. "And what if I was retiring for the evening," she commented pointedly as one foot stepped back to brace her posture, "It doesn't look like you're giving me much choice here, sir.."

The page stopped in his advance as she summoned her weapon, and his gaze snapped like the sound it made. Alright. Good to know what he was up against...even if it left him to wonder how to counter it. This was the first time he came across an agent with a fluid weapon. "If you really are---" He made a gesture to the opening of the alleyway. "Then by all means, go." He smiled lightly at her. "I won't attack your back if you do. I don't want to fight you at all to be honest, and spare me the guilt trip. No one skulking about an alleyway is up to nothing."

Blue eyes darted towards the exit he was gesturing towards and then back to him. The temptation was there - and it wasn't like she couldn't teleport, if she wanted to - but that wasn't the point. He still stood there, looking mildly threatening with his plank of wood and the older Captain was determined to figure out his agenda. Everyone had one - why wouldn't he too? "Drop your weapon," she demanded softly, eyebrows furrowing together. "If you really mean it, that you won't hurt me, then drop your weapon and prove it."

Okolnir clucked his tongue, and shook his head as well. "Ah, ah, you see, that show of good faith doesn't work here. In terms of advantages, they're all stacked in your favor, so I'll be keeping my weapon. After all, I can't summon it back once I let it go." He did not moved though. He stayed where he was. Not threatening anymore than he had been, but not backing down, either. "I try to be fair, but it's not to be confused with stupid."

Eyes narrowed and the urge to smirk was hard to combat.
"I see we're at an impasse then, friend."
The whip was cracked again and she took a step forward. "Because I'm not going to pass by anyone with a weapon when they've clearly had it out to hurt me from the get-go. Even if they were reduced to using trash as their weaponry."
Her wrist pulled back and her head tilted for a brief second as she gauged the distance between them.
"Since the advantages are stacked in my favor, then, it would be rather silly not to use them, hm?"
And with that, her wrist flicked and the whip's tails went sailing in the page's direction.

But of course it couldn't go easy, and he had never counted on it happening that way, anyways. Whatever he needed to do to make the streets even just a fraction safer for his niece---it'd be done. Okolnir smirked right back at her, because he couldn't disagree with her logic. It would be silly to not use what she had to her advantage. Eyes followed her movements closely, and his body tensed in preparation as she pulled her wrist back. When she released, he immediately threw himself to the side, out of the path of the whip. The sharp and loud crack as it hit the air where he previously had been was loud and foreboding in his ears. With this weapon, his best bet was to get close, and of course then to be mindful of her shoving her hand in his chest. The page charged her, his trash can lid raised like a shield as he moved. Ghouliboo Ghouli that post was bad a**. I read it like damn son -salutes-

There was obvious disappointment in the Captain's face as she missed her opponent. Not even a stray lash had made contact, the whip snapping in the air before returning to her side. Granted, she hadn't practiced nearly as much with her weapon as she should have, but still - he was using trash for goodness's sake, surely he wasn't that talented either, right? It was the page's turn to strike and he seemed to feel that his trash can lid would do the trick... but instead of throwing it like she'd expected him to, he was barreling right for her. Angelite let out a startled gasp as she did her best to dart to the side, the heel of her boot catching on alleyway debris and sending her towards the wall. Hands instinctively reached out for the wall, the whip dropping to the ground. " s**t!" Lucyal I'm pretty sure you're the badass here, I just abuse italics like a mofo. /weeps as she notices her typo in the last post and quietly adjusts

Okolnir couldn't have asked for a better opportunity. It was probably, completely, amoral what he was about to do next, but when you were in a war, there was nothing right or wrong about survival. Gender had nothing to do with it. The page did drop his wood plank then as he skidded to a stop, and pulled back his free fist. He then aimed to punch the woman as hard as he could in the mid-section. This was taking advantage of an opportunity. Ghouliboo No, you are a bad a** : D

She was working too hard to catch her balance to be concerned with what else this waste of oxygen was up to. It cost her gravely, in the end, when she felt the hard fist pushing into her taut abdomen. The fabric of her uniform did little to cushion the blow, the curled fingers stealing the wind from her lungs as she let out a ragged gasp. Blue eyes widened as the pain shot through her - the b*****d!Flight or fight instinct kicked in and Angelite blinked from the alleyway. Her body and whip dissolved into thin air, porting both back to the Negaspace with a soft, fading groan from the Captain. There wasn't even time for a witty final comment. Pity.Lucyal TIME TO RUN LIKE A b***h. Finish us up, m'captain? <3

That was all it took. Okolnir kept his guard up for a few moments longer, and once it was apparent a signature wasn't suddenly appearing anytime soon, he let himself relax. Just a bit. The man sighed as he bent to pick up his wooden plank, and couldn't help but shake his head at himself. Ridiculous. Letting them go? Attempting to discourage them for the night? If that? They'd just be back at it the next day, and this wasn't a dance he thought he could do forever. He just wasn't ready to start leaving a trail bodies though, which in the now seemed like the best solution. No. That was one step he was not ready to take... So until then: discouraging them it was. Ghouliboo Thank you frand! It is wrapped
