"Don't worry. I don't plan on dying here," Aluminite retorted tugging his small crystal from the wall and watching Domeykite retrieve his slightly larger one. They hadn't gotten the special crystal they were sent to retrieve but - something told him to keep ahold of his. So he did, sliding it into his pocket a bit grateful that it wasn't too big to fit.
Of course the extractions did exactly what everyone was worrying it would and the cave began to crumble around them.
"Oh s**t," he cursed, grabbing Domeykite's sleeve and tugging him out of the hole and toward the exit. "Come on!"First Roll: 3 Second Roll: 18 This turn: 6

Lieutenant ReineriteWhilst Reinerite didn't have a clue what the crystal that the Shadow Lady was looking for was supposed to look like, the crystal that she had pulled out felt like it was perhaps a good candidate for it.
She tucked it away intending to find Aurostibite, having heard his voice earlier...
And was in time to see the cavern light up with a light that made her think of starlight.
It was beautiful, but not one that she had long to appreciate because almost on the heels of the light was the sound of rumbling followed by a few stones dropping from the ceiling.
Out. They had to get out - because whilst Reinerite was no expert she figured that you didn't need to be one to know that that sound she was hearing was not a good one.
She moved over to where the hole that she had helped create earlier was as quickly as she dared, even as she desperately tried to avoid falling rocks.
They had to get out. No it was imperative that they get out and they were going to get out - they had come too far for her to think otherwise.[Dice roll 1 = 3]

Aw crap. This was exactally what Cavansite had been afraid would happen…and now that the cave was actually crumbling around them…the glee she had from finding the shiny crystals was absolutely diminished. It was time to get out of here. Get the heck out of here.
Heck on everyone else, she was not going to get smooshed by falling rocks, not on your life.
She ran. She ran as fast as her little space fairy princess legs could carry her.

Lieutenant Angelite
The Cave rumbled shortly after the final crystal was yanked free from its walls. While her crystal glowed brightly, it was nothing compared to glow of Hydra's bright stone. The ceiling began to crumble, fragments of rock and stalactite beginning to rain down on them as the echoes of the rumbling rang out through the cavern.
Clearly, it was time to go.
A rock fell right in front of her, startling the Lieutenant. The others were beginning their quick exit and she was no exception.
Heels turned to take off back towards the route they'd come through, but a particularly large piece of cave came raining down, directly on top of her. The impact sent her spiraling forward, her body splaying out onto the cavern's flooring with a soft yelp.
Gloves desperately clawed at the ground, the dark haired woman fighting to rise back up, her back throbbing and her head spinning.

General ObsidianWell, it seemed as though he had an eye for potential after all. Hydra's success did not go unnoticed, but before he could comment much, the cave trembled and groaned beneath their feet like a wild, living thing. Obsidian had enough time to watch his lieutenant get struck down by a particularly nasty slab of rock.
With a growl, he reached down to pluck her up by the back of her uniform, planning on bodily hauling her out if he had to. Rocks fell and he shielded himself as best he could with his free arm, tugging Angelite along with him. "If you broke your back, I'm going to be so unimpressed." He spoke loudly enough to be heard over the din, racing back towards where they'd come.

Lieutenant Domeykite Domey's eyes had been locked on the crystal in his hands, inspecting it to see if there was any possible reason it existed in a place such as this. But then the world started to ********, ********, ********," he hissed the chant through clenched teeth, shoving the crystal into one of his overly-large pant pockets and following his partner's quick dash for the exit. But Aluminite was too fast and tall, willowy Domeykite wasn't really built for speed and finesse. Around him rocks were crashing and rolling - he felt them clip his feet and smash his elbow until the hissed words on his lips became unintelligible groans of pain. He might actually die on this cursed mission, buried under the ground, probably so far from his life as Levi that he would just become another missing person who was never found. Half Youma General CinnabarThe crystal she pulled from the wall was not particularly large, but not really small. It fit comfortably in her hand and the amber-gold color of it was pleasing, even if it wasn't the crystal they had come for. While not normally one to be drawn to material things, Cin found that she liked the way it shone and the regular angles of its sides. Metallia didn't say they weren't allowed to take other crystals, so why not? It would make a pretty paper weight, if nothing else.
It was a solid weight when she slipped it into her pocket and turned, suddenly hearing an ominous rumble. Red-black eyes flicked with alarm to the walls surrounding them and their suddenly unstable nature. The damage they had done pulling free crystals seemed to be too much for the cave and now it was following up on the threat it had been giving since they arrived.
The General spun and reached for Labradorite, who had remained decently close throughout the trek. The others that had come with her were Captains and capable of effecting their own escape, but the lieutenant was not. Gathering herself, Cinnabar ripped herself from reality... and nothing happened. Fist in the lieutenant's coat, they remained standing in the cave as her teleport failed. Adrenaline pulsed through her and she shoved the shorted woman in front of her, back the way they had come.
"Everyone out!" She called, her concern for the officers with her taking enough attention it left her own self vulnerable to the rocks that began to fall from the ceiling.FIRST ROLL: 5

Oh no.... Makemake could hear the sound of things falling... Maybe pulling random crystals hadn't been the best plan. Still, she could feel some moderate amount of power in the light pinkish-purple crystal she held in her hands, against her chest.
There was no time to worry about what had already been done, successful or not - she didn't know Hydra had perhaps luckily procured the crystal they sought - they had to get out of here. And she was quick on that. BEing tiny had to count for something.

Captain Sanidine
The moment the cave started falling apart, Sandine was out of there. Or, at least, he would have been if Evan hadn't bolted.
As everything started to fall apart, the youma had clutched low to Airi and then, in a fit of blind fear, took off running. Sanidine tried to swipe at him to pull him to safety so he could just try to teleport them out of there but it seemed like terror had gripped his youma fiercely and it was all he could do to run after him. Thankfully, Sanidine was lucky enough to avoid the falling rocks but he wasn't so sure Evan was having the same luck. A few smaller rocks already seemed to have hit him, and all Sanidine could think about was that Evan was going to wind up a pile of dust. Again.
Fueled by concern, he disregarded his own personal safety; his eyes were only on Evan, but he was quickly losing sight of the shadowy black figure bolting for the exit.5+3=8

The cave-in could have been more catastrophic than it was; in the whole group, only Hydra, Domeykite and Angelite had the misfortune of actually being hit by anything. Small rocks pelted them, but larger rocks fell in a barrage. It was enough to cause a few bruises or a headache, but not enough to break anything. They'd probably be a little sore in the morning, but they'd brush it off—assuming they didn't get buried alive. Being hit by the rocks was no doubt disorienting and slowed them down a little. For as unpleasant as it sounded though, it might have actually saved them from a worse fate: Cavansite and Makemake were at the front of the group and very near to the exit when an awful sound radiated through the cave; it was a deafening rumble, and a wall of rocks collapsed right in front of them. The energy here was too warped to let them teleport out, but the rest of the cave seemed to be crumbling at a much slower rate. At the very least, it had bought them a moment to try and work their way out. Moving the rocks was an option—but it might have just been more effective to pummel your way through them. There's no reason to be gentle, now; you're in a race to make it out of this in one piece! Quote: The rocks are falling but so far it seems like no one's been seriously injured—yet! A wall of rocks is blocking you and the entrance, and if you want to get out you're going to have to break those rocks—before they break you! Generate a random number between 1 and 30 to attack the rock barrier in front of you! Rolls under 10 will suffer IC consequences, but these are all story based and won't affect your dice roll. If you make a mistake, please don't delete the post! Any deleted posts will result in the player being disqualified from the roll.
All characters who have been posted for growth of the next stage may receive the following boosts to their roll (this means, you do not have to have the art to receive the boost but you must have posted for growth and be able to link to the post to gain the boost!) :
Second Stage (Captain, Super, or Mauvian Human stage) get a +3 to each roll

Only players who rolled less than five in the previous roll were hit by any falling rocks (unless you want to play with rocks hitting your character!). Players whose tally was five or higher do not have to be affected by any falling rocks if they choose!

The group ran for the entrance and as they did, rocks pelted the ground around them. It was sheer luck that none of them managed to hit the General as she ran with the rest.
As they neared the exit, Cinnabar was pulled short as a rush of falling rock cascaded in front of them, blocking off their escape. Another reach to teleport produced nothing and the half youma snarled in frustration. Without thinking too hard about it, she launched herself at the rocks in a full body check, putting her weight into the shoulder that connected with the wall of rubble.
They had to break through, or they were all going to be buried alive.

Lieutenant Angelite Her back ached and her head felt as though it was in the course of splitting in two - but priorities came first. She could worry about her bruises and scrapes once they'd made it out of the Cave and not a minute before. The rough pull on the back of her dress had Obsidian hoisting his Lieutenant up, his words forcing a grimace as she was reminded that laying strewn across the ground wasn't helping anyone - especially herself. "Yes sir," She managed to respond back through gritted teeth as blue eyes studied the rocks clustered in front of them. A calculative look for any weaknesses and then her leg shot out, the black heel aimed at a fracture between two of the larger rocks. Roll: 29, no bonus
