Prince of the Faerie, Raiyn is not a nice ulaya. His highness absolutely refuses to be wed though he is acting ruler of his kingdom in all but name, his mother the Queen is still officially ruler though she is ancient and hidden herself away from public sight. Raiyn is crude and vain, with hints of narcissistic tendencies.
(His mother is perhaps a bee papillu, she hid herself away for a year of mourning when Raiyn's father passed and never shown her face to the public since. His father, another sort of moth. Passed away when Raiyn came of age. Raiyn believes if he weds and produces an heir, his fate will be the same.)
DE: Hebi: *lets out a lax yawn and curls his wings against his body* Kittie: Kimi: *Snoozes and rolls over in his sleep, then suddenly wakes up, is without sis again* gonk DE: Hebi: *eyes the flailing child and offers a wing to hide under* Kittie: Kimi: *Eyes the Draco'ula,* H-hi, *he yawns a little, then stands and wobbles nearer, unafraid* You're a nice guy, right? You seem nice, but Ren-chan'd be mad at me if I wasn't cautious. *speaks softly* DE: Hebi: *nods at the sleepy pup and reaches out for him, nuzzling with his soft fur as they snuggle* I'm kind, don't worry ^^ Kittie: Surprise and sleepiness causes the kit to be limp, he's easily pulled against the larger Ulaya. Kimihiro looks up with his good eye wide, from under the large, leathery red wing. "I still can't believe Dragons are, I mean Draco'ula are real." His voice is soft and still sleepy, "But you're all grown, I mean you're not new," He shuns the word -baby-, where were you before here? DE: Hebi: *smiles and pats the pup on his head, making him more relaxes and sleepy* I have been around far longer then you can imagine, hiding from other Ulayas that fear my appearance *he nuzzles him again* Hiding with the rest of the Draco'ulas. Kittie: Questioning with innocence that only a child could muster, his sleepiness still called to him, but the curiousness called louder. "But where, and why, and who is scared of you, you said you were kind, you don't eat mommas do you?" His dark eye goes wider, if that was possible. DE: Most Ulayas in the world fear Draco'ulas, not all of us are kind hearted *he looks up to the dark sky and watched the shimmering stars twinkle in the background* I can name a couple almost instantly. Kittie: "Oh..." There was a sadness in his voice that he couldn't mask, still too young to hide disappointment easily, and he dropped his chin to his paws, laying flat, his face was angled up to look from the male to the sky, but then it was lowered just as quickly, the night sky was too close and to large, too consuming to the small Ulaya's gaze. "Family of yours?" He hesitates, "I should probably stay away from 'em, 'til I'm bigger at least?" DE: *Hebi's voice dropped with no reponse to the pup's question. He thought to himself as his mind ran through old memories that were too painful to mention of, too harsh for this pup to hear* You're quite tired, aren't you? *he was curious how long the pup would stay awake, though knowing the curiosity of his age slumber was lower on the scale* Kittie: Yawning again answered more truthfully than his word would, "No-o-oh~" He blinked and reddened under his pale fur, caused by his little fib. "Maybe. A little tired." He leaned against the the larger male more fully now and said nothing more, though his eye remained open, his gaze was low. DE: Smiling some more he looked at the pup who was almost asleep in his arms. He was the first contact with someone else for a long time, and it was someone that was happy to have a friend to lean on. Standing up slowly he lifted the pup in his arm and held him tightly. "How about a little mid dream adventure?" He watched the pup snuggle his arm as he stretched his wings out. Kittie: "Mmm?" Kimi had slipped swiftly as most young ones do, he was only half awake when lifted, "Like adventures too?" When he woke again, he might probably believe that he dreamt this. DE: Hebi laughed at how cute he was and lowered his body to the ground, with a slight jolt he leaped into the air and flapped his wings, slowly making them airborn. Flying higher into the sky he held the pup with his other arm to make sure he didn't fall and soared over the land, the trees and other creatures in the area far below them and nothing but the calming breeze to bother them. Every once in a while he would flap his wings to stay the same level but he mostly glided though the sky. Kittie: It was the tiny jostling jolt that woke him and for an instant Kimi felt fearful, but the strong down-beats came at a steady rythm as they rose higher and higher, because of his eye he really couldn't tell distance, but that everything was smaller and the quiet, he knew that they were high up. "Woow~" He breathed and all traces of fear evaporated, he felt secure with the arms around him. Turning his head this way and that, trying to understand the terrain below, it was like a life-size map and he recognized a few landmarks, or he thought he did, maybe it was his imagination, he really had not been many places in his short life span. After this, that would change, he'd already felt the hint of wander-lust, probably passed to him by his father, but now it was like a kindled flame. Somehow he knew, even his child brain understood this, he would be too big to carry, all too soon and this sight of so much would only leave a longing for more.
"This is, there is, everything..." He couldn't quite put into words what he wanted to express. "Thank you." He looked up to see the smile he was sure would be on the Draco'ula's face, one reflecting his own, full of delight and wonder, before sleepiness over took him again. DE: Hebi watched the pup drift back into his slumber after thanking him, this was the first time he had heard those words from a normal Ulaya, one that wasn't affraid of him. Swaying his tail side to side with the wind current he started to wonder where the tan colored kid lived, where he should drop him off to finish his sleep. Fanning his wings upward they began to slow down and he shifted his body to turn around before flapping harder to gain speed again. The scenery passed below them as he started to head back to where they had come from, where he can find where his family was. Kittie: Sobie wandered from bush to nook, slowly, his tired gaze and wide ears searching for some sign of kits sleeping, they usually were found in piles, still so young that they found their comfort in closeness of bodies. He sighed softly, not quite worried yet, perhaps Kimihiro had gone with his sister for the evening, as he usually spend all his day with her, awake or not. After looking in the last spot that would have been a favorite of the pale boy, Sobie decided that had to be the case, the kid wasn't one to wander or get into trouble, he lay down, and curled his paws, ready to sleep for the night when a curious sound met his ears and he looked up. Wonder colored his features.
Kimi didn't stir the whole while, through up and downs, the wind was somehow calming. DE: Hebi hovered over the strange Ulaya, wondering if it was okay to land around him. He somewhat feared other Ulayas for they could be almost as cruel as the Draco'ulas themselves but after a few flaps of his wings he decided to take a chance. Grasping the pup tightly he lowered to the ground slowly, trying not to stirr him from his sleep and softly landed his hind feet on the dirt ground before planting the rest of his body down, holding the pup with a single paw. Closing his wings and wrapping them tight to his body he looked over at the other Ulaya and watched with a nervous stare. Kittie: Sobie was speechless from surprise watching the red Draco'ula descend and land, Pooka wasn't lying this time, the words drifted through his head, then he spotted the kit. "Ah, Kimihiro?" He began then hushed, seeing that he was asleep. "I hope that he did not give you any trouble, sir?" He spoke with polite and soft tone. "If he did, I apologize fully. He is under my care." He stood and moved within arms reach, to take the sleeping boy if he was offered.
Kimi shifted in his sleep, restlessly dreaming. DE: Hebi stepped a foot back as the other Ulaya approached him but resisted the urge to back away fully for his manor seemed nice enough. Looking down at the slumbering pup he reached his paw out for the other Ulaya, seemingly being his care taker and rested his tail on the ground, coiling it around in a circle. Kittie: Sobie didn't understand the reluctance of the other, but he took the kit gently and held him close to his chest feeling real relief that he knew the little male was safe. "Ah, thank you." Sobie was still trying to grasp the existence of the one before him to feel any real fear, just a bit of confusion show on his features.Kimi shifted and opened his eye just the tiniest bit, there was the hint of a smile on his maw.Sobie stifled a yawn, before continuing "Oh, excuse me. I am Sobie, may I ask your name?" DE: Pausing for a little more he swallowed his breath and opened his mouth to speak, caution in his voice. "I'm Hebi, Hebi Doragon." He turned an ear back some, he never talked with Ulayas before and usually hide in the shadows as much as he could. "Sorry for taking the pup for a ride, it seemed like he would enjoy it. I didn't mean to leave with him." Though it was obvious he did, or else he wouldn't have. Kittie: Sobie nodded and cautioned a smile, "No need for an apology then. It is very nice to meet you, Hebi." He nodded his head, his voice soft "You probably gave him the thrill of his life. He hears so many adventure stories from his father, it is about time he has one of his own to tell, but for now," He paused.Kimi shifted again and turned, "Heebi, I don't think most Ulaya will fear you." He murmured and his eye drifted closed again. "Shall we let him sleep." Smile. DE: Hebi sighed softly, glad that he had found some Ulayas nice enough to talk to him. "I have been affar and know quite well how feared and frowned upon Draco'ulas are." It was his father's generation that had been practically chased onto the island where they now resided, treated poorly upon by the other Ulayas in the land. Such stories and words brought down through conversations and other means of chatter had caused most of the Draco'ulas to stay where they are rather then travel out. Which, in most cases, was probably best for both breeds alike.
HRF: Neme- *Watches Kimi from afar, tail twitching back and forth* Kittie: Kimi: *is being watched in his sleep again!* x.~ Hebi? -zzz- HRF: Neme- *Slowly creeps closer* Kittie: Kimi: *opens his good eye just a little, still really sleepy* HRF: Neme- *Eyes glint, wide and white. Crouches, butt wiggling a bit. Then lounges and pounces on him.* Kittie: Kimi: *Pounce'd* Reen~ *Opens his eye wide, expecting his sister, and finds instead a unknown dark pup.* Ah, oh, hi? *blinks* HRF: Neme- *Growls softly and bites at his ear roughly, tugging.* >:0 Kittie: Kimi: *backs his ears and bats at the other pup, attempts to roll away, growls a little himself, as if he was playing with his sis* HRF: Neme- *Growls louder and rolls around with him for a bit, then finally pins him. Bites his paw when he bats at him, shaking it slightly.* Kittie: Kimi: Ah! *let his paw go limp, tries biting him back, but misses, kicks at him though trying to shove him off still, thinking that means the other'll stop* HRF: Neme- *Doesnt stop, still biting roughly.* >:] *Bats at his chest, clawing him a bit* Kittie: Kimi: *growls louder now and really shoves with his legs, not liking the rough play* Enough! Ow~ HRF: Neme- *finally topples back. Sits up and blinks at him, looking disapointed.* Why did you stop? Kittie: Kimi: *scowls at him, rights himself and wobbles a bit more than usual, holding his paw up, he licks it* It hurt. *eyes him and puts his paw down* HRF: Neme- We were playing... *Blinks* I wasn't biting that hard.... Weakling... *Stands, shaking himself off.* Kittie: Kimi: It was hard. *looks away, frowns* 'sides I was sleepin, you caught me off guard. HRF: Neme- *Rolls eyes* You're making excuses, mortal. Kimi: You? But you're like little, like me. Gods are like, big and scary and stuff. *wobbles over to really get a look at him* HRF: neme- *Glares, eyes glowing slightly* I AM a god! How dare you question my blood! *Growls at him, horns glowing slightly.* I am still young. Gods are BORN just like you... Mongrel... Kittie: Kimi: *glares back at half strength, annoyed because he doesn't understand fully* You're still little, just like me. So I don't care if you -think- you're so special~ HRF: neme- *Snarls* You insolent little...! *Tackles him, claws at him with his tiny kitten claws* Kittie: Kimi: *rolls with the tackle, kicking with his back legs, attempts to keep his bad eye turned away from Neme and his ears back against his head* What? Am I a, -brat- just, like you? *tries to throw him off like before* HRF: Neme- *Presses him small form down as powerfully as he can, biting and clawing violently. Tumbles a bit when he's pushed, but just pounces on him again.*

Kimi: *Tumbles, bitting and kicking, not letting a cry slip from his lips again, even though it really hurts now, he grits his teeth, then uses them, bitting at Neme's paws and shoulders, not giving as good as he's getting, but sure as hell trying," What're you the -god- of away? Pravus- *Lays there, watching. Tail twitches from side to side* Kittie: Probably, surprise shone in his dark eye, mingled with fear; the answer to the taunting question and the fact that he'd somehow ended up pining the god of revenge in a fight. Kimi relented and stumbled off, moving just a short distance away, he missed seeing the other god laying there on his blind side. He was breathing hard now and the sting from a few cuts registered in his head as he looked with confusion now, the taste of the threat the little godling had made was almost tangible. "You gonna kill me now then?" He brought a paw to his mouth, wiping at the spit and bit of blood there, his eye flicked up and down. HRF: He rolls onto his feet, turning to glare at him, white eyes narrowed. Stalks over to him, head low. "No. I'm not going to kill you..." Tackles him again, attempting to pin him, one paw pressing down on his throat. "You're just mine now, Slave." Kittie: Eye down. Kimi wasn't sure if the confusion and fear shone from his expression as clearly as he was feeling it. Eye up. The godling stood now, and came nearer, Kimi didn't move more than to again drop his gaze, and when he was again tackled, his limbs twitched in reflex wanting to shove him away again, until the paw was at his throat. He trembled slightly, the after affects of the adrenaline in his system, he didn't like the feeling or the idea, but he didn't know if he could fight it without bringing the wrath of this or any other god down upon himself, or his family. He nodded his head, just barely. HRF: "Good." He snaps, glaring down at him. Then he leans down, brushing his nose against the fur on Kimi's neck. Tiny fangs grab a hunk of flesh and fur, biting down hard. When he pulls back there's a small red half moon shaped mark that was left by his teeth. "There. A mark of your submission." He sits up, still sitting on him but not pinning him down. Kittie: Kimi breathed shallow and hissed against the pain from the bite, wanting still to move the dark godling off, nothing shielding the stinging now as his full attention was on it and the others, they ached worse than any of his 'self inflicted' wounds, bumps and bruises from his faulty perception. He brought a paw up to cover the mark, to keep the air from it and maybe lessen the sting, he moved to sit up, if he could, quite unsure what this submission would require from him. HRF: The godling crawls off of him then, stretching and looking very pleased with himself. Flexes his claws on the ground, tail flicking at him. "I'll call upon you later when I have use of you~" Purrs, bats his eyes at him, oddly enough... Then starts to skip away, a confident swagger to his step. Kittie: Kimi sits up, and still holding his paw to his neck and stares after the godling, who's name he didn't even get, the flirting goes right over his head, he's bewildered enough by the whole encounter. "Can't tell anyone, who'd believe me?" he asks the night air, then wanders off to find a close spot to curl for the night.
Kimi; *dreams dark things, whimpers half asleep, half awake* Neme- *Eyes glow in the shadows as he slowly creeps up onto the other kit. Paws don't make a sound as he walks up to him.* Kimi; *paws twich and he sighs, then curls into a ball, comforted and disturbed by the presence of another* Neme- *Stalks closer, eyes narrowing to white amused slits.* Slave... *Mutters lowly, putting a paw on the kit's back* Kimi; *His dark eye comes open and he gasps, shifting to his stomach and looking around* Oh *breaths in short gasps, awoken from his nightmare* Neme- *Leans down to n** at his ear lightly, purring.* Having sweet dreams, my pet..? Kimi; Neme? *shifts, but doesn't pull away* not exactly... *his voice holds a hint of stress* Neme- *Rakes his baby claws down his back, not hard enough to cut into him though, more of a stimulating action.* What was it about? Kimi; *shudders* Nothing... Neme- Are you sure? I'd be delighted to hear my father's gift... *Nips at his ear again* Kimi; *tucks his paws and resists nipping back at him* No, that was just it, nothing, couldn't see at all, I could hear Ren calling, maybe it was Ren... but I couldn't see, *shivers* Your father's gift? *curious for a change of subject* Neme- My father is the god of nightmares... your troubled dreams were a gift from him... ....Ren.. your sister... Kimi; *blinks* Oh. And your brother? *he shakes his head* maybe not Ren, a girl voice though. Kimi: *is awake, up late. Sits curled up cleaning his face like a cat.* Neme- *Seems to appear in the shadows, having acquired that gift from his father. The darkness wisps and solidifies... and there he is.* Slave.. Kimi; *stops mid-lick and turns his head to peer into the shadows* Master Neme? *voice is soft, even when he knows, who else would it be* Neme- Hello dear. *Steps closer, nipping at his ear lightly.* Kimi; *rolls to one side and paws at him lightly before he catches himself, treating him like one of his sisters* ... ;; good evening Neme- *Nose twitches as he bats at him. (AIM LOG XIANG AND FERRET'S TEMERAIRE)
Temeraire: Temeraire glided over the sandy beach of the island, deep blue eyes scanning the tall white waves. It was a beautiful day... Sunny, warm, with just a bit of a breeze that kept his hide from becoming too hot. His scales were as polished and shiny as ever, his wings large and spread wide to catch the salt kissed air. Then he dove. Elegantly and swift, his streamline body disappearing into the ocean for several moments, before coming out several feet away, wet wings flapping to gain speed and altitude. In his claws was a large grey and blue fish.
Xiang: Laying flat on a rock, wings stretched out, face to the sun. Xiang was cat-napping, the heat of the day made him gloriously content and slightly lazy, his eyelids at half mast. He didn't understand why his friend Sobie disliked the ocean so, the smell on air was wonderful, and the breezes~ Xi began to roll onto his other side when a large dark shape caught his eye, he had to sit up and squint his eyes against the glare of the sun on the water to see, and then blink a few times to believe. Then he watched with awe slightly showing on his face as the Draco'ula dove and resurfaced. What a sight~ What luck, too see one, he thought, then resettled himself, his eyes tracking the path the other made in the air.
Temeraire: The Draco didn't seem to notice the fiery male. Perhaps his glowy nature blended in with the reflecting light on the rocks, or maybe Temeraire was just too distracted with his wonderful meal. He loved fish so much, it was his favorite meal. Fish, the ocean, sailing.. There was nothing he loved more, and this was why he called the beach his home, taking shelter in a small cave like den in the rocks. Not far from where Xiang was laying. His large wings, each the size of his body, flapped and sprayed the air with water as he somehow seemed to hover in the air. A maneuver many could not manage, the wings made zig-zag patterns that seemed to hold the air enough for him to float on the breeze. His back talons curled up to bring the fish to his mouth, which he swallowed in merely two bites. Since no one was looking, or so he though, he didn't bother making polite work of it.
Xiang: With his head propped up on his paws Xi watched the large male, he might have been staring a little bit, but as the other had yet to look his way, so he was sure this little rudeness would go unnoticed. It was not his intention to be rude, on the contrary he would have looked away if he thought the other would be offended. But Xiang had an obsession with flight, he could fly better than any other Ucolians he knew, gaining more height and staying aloft for longer, yet his skills and wings were no match for the power and majesty, and the -ease- with which this one soared. With a slight frown, Xi was about to give up his resting spot and leave when the black pelt'd one stopped mid-air. Was he hovering? Xiang had observed on one occasion a tiny jewel colored bird, it's wing beating so swiftly they were nothing more than a blur of speed, it could do much the same, holding it's position before flowers before speeding away. Then Xi had reserved himself to the fact that such a tiny creature could managed his feat and he couldn't argue against that, but this was all at once too much for him. "How?" He called, standing now and going to the edge of the rock, his own wings spread out from his shoulders and his voice shouting only to be heard at the distance and over the sound of the waves, "How can you, be staying up like that?"
Temeraire: Temeraire was startled, slightly slitted blue eyes blinking wider for a moment. The fish was gone, bones and all. His scales were pretty much dry now from the sun, But they still had a glossy sheen, as if still wet. He turned and started to fly in small circles, staring down at the fiery ulaya. "My, you surprised me..." His head tilts, looking him over with obvious curiosity. Then he lands, a few feet away from the smaller male. He was about twice the size of him, which was normal for draco'ula, but he was no where near the largest of his breed. "How can I..? I... just do."
Xiang: "Just... do?" Xi frowned, he had expected an answer, some trick, a bit of knowledge passed to him, but he didn't stay frowning for long. "Ah, I apologize for surprising you sir," He bowed his head in polite greeting then raised it again to look the draco over, this being the first time he was so close. Xi showed no fear, though he was slightly worried to offend this male, but not yet resigned to flying under his abilities, no matter if he was larger. Xi himself was large for an ucolians but not overly so. He stood still only turning himself and facing the other, looking at the jewel on his neck, and the soft color of his wings and scales, he grinned then. "You surprised me, I have never seen such skill and grace before, I must admit I was jealous."
Temeraire: His scales were inky black, with dabs of blue and silver along the edges of his wings. His large wings folded against his back, head raised in curiosity. He held himself with confidence and grace, but not quite true arrogance. "No need to apologize. I should have been paying more attention." Smiles, revealing sharp white teeth. He took the compliments with gratitude, standing a bit taller while his eyes fell half lidded. "Jealous? You shouldn't. With wings such as yours, I'm sure you fly just fine. But what is your name?"
Xiang: "Pay attention to your meal," Xi was brushing it off, it was truly no fault of his if he could fly in place like that, and not know how, it was just his nature. Xi's ears drooped just a little in the face of all those teeth, maybe it was unwise to show no fear, he could easily be the meal. "How are the fish today?" He laughed, just a little, perhaps a bit of his nervous would show through, but he held his ground, ulaya were not savages that ate each other. When the compliment were returned Xi nodded his head a bit in thanks and held it low while giving his name, "Xiang. Xiang Huo, my parents were half right." He raised his head and grinned, "And you are?"
Temeraire: "Oh, the fish are delightful." He nods slightly, adjusting himself to sit a bit more comfortably on the jagged rocks. "They always are in this area, I must say. Quite large and quite tasty... Would you like one? They are not very hard to catch." Bobs his head slightly, eying him with a bit more curiosity. "Xiang Huo? Chinese... That is very interesting." He then bows deeply, wings sweeping forward then backwards almost cape-like, very elegant. "My name is Temeraire."
Xiang: "Oh, you recognize it? No one ever does." He smiles easily, "Well, it is very nice to meet to, Temeraire." He takes a step back and sits, nodding his head again. "I suppose I would like to try one, being so highly recommended, I have never had the chance to try one of the larger types, fishing not being one of my strong points. But don't trouble yourself on my account. Sit and rest a bit, if you'd like~" He grins.
Temeraire: "Oh it's no trouble at all." He smiles and nods sincerely. "I do enjoy fishing... Hold on, it will just take a moment." His wings expand to their full length and with one wind inducing flap, he's up in the air. He gains altitude quickly and within seconds is nothing but a dot of black against the bright sky. His eyes scan over to waves, then further out where the waters grow calmer. Spotting a flicker of white, he zooms down into a dive like a falcon, wings tucked back against his side. And once again he torpedoes into the water and comes out again, a large light colored fish flopping in his talons.
Xiang: Xi only has time to nod his thanks before Teme is off, he watches again with plain awe on his face, and is fully grinning and smiling in admiration when the draco comes back with the fish. "Goodness, but that is huge, you have my thanks, Temeraire. Please do share it with me, I could never finish it on my own."
Temeraire: He settles back down onto the rocks, letting the fish flop down onto the ground in front of the smaller male. When offered he just smirks and nods, never one to turn down fish. Besides, it was close to half Xiang's size... So he scooped it up into his mouth and with one bite had chomped down the middle of it. He left the upper half for Xiang, then head and most of the meat, which seemed to be better in his mind. And he swallowed the rest in one massive gulp. "Ah... So wonderful. Do have a bite, please?"
Xiang: With a nod, Xi dropped his head to the cold flesh and tore a strip with a jerk of his head, holding down the rest with his forepaws, it was so large still. He chews and swallowed the bit and, replied enthusiastic, "Oh but that is wonderful, I can see why you enjoy it so much." He eats a bit more and then sits back, full. "Thank you, do have the rest".
Temeraire: "Are you sure?" His head tilted slightly, watching him to be sure he really was full. But if he insists anymore he'd scoop up the rest of the fish and swallow it whole. "Ahh..." He let out a low rumble, content. Then he shifted, resting himself down onto the rocks in a comfortable position. "I am glad you enjoyed it, Xiang Huo. And if you don't mind me asking... how on earth did you come by your flames?"
Xiang: "I insist~" He nodded, though he really had enjoyed it. He also settled himself, with a nod of his head. "Well, I guess I was born with them, I've never really thought about it, I guess it comes from my family, though, neither of my parents were on fire." He shifts a paw over his head, "Not a very interesting story, I'm afraid..."
Temeraire: He certainly looks interested. "Oh no, not at all. I suppose that just makes you special. Which is certainly most interesting." He smiles, one paw moving up to stroke one of his long whiskers. "I do wish I could breath fire. Some of my kinda can not, you know."
Xiang: "Indeed? I did not know that," he tilts his head, "Still, I don't think it would be very comfortable to breathe fire, the smoke and such... I suppose I am lucky that this fire of mine is benign. But," he glances up and looks Teme over, his eyes drifting over his jeweled necklace. "Even without such a skill, I must say that, just being a draco is special? There are so few of you... I hope that you don't take me as rude... You would be the first I've met, so that makes it special to me."
Temeraire: His head lifts slightly with a tinge of arrogance. "I do suppose its a bit special... thank you. Anyway..." He glances away then grins coyly, leaning down a bit to look at him more at eye level. "There is something I can do that no other draco'ula can... Only my father and I, but he is long gone. Would you like to see?"
Xiang: He nods, "Ah, I would~" Xi's curiosity is perked and he stands again, feeling short, but not letting his outward attitude show such. He lets his imagination spin for a moment, wondering what it could be, not the hovering trick, something more than that, because he'd seen that already. Xi grins expectantly.
Temeraire: He nods and grins, his pride swelling. He turn glances around, then turns to face a large boulder that wasn't far from them. Then he rears back, breathing in deeply and quickly, his large sharply toothed mouth held wide open. The skin on his chest expands slightly, skin stretching around his scales as he holds in the air. It seems to pump threw his chest for a moment, then like an explosion it bursts outwards from his mouth, mixed with a blood curdling roar. Like dynamite it's self had went off at the base of the boulder, nothing remains of it but pebbles and dust. It was a safe distance from them, but Temeraire made sure to step up at the last moment to block any rubble that might blow back in Xiang's direction, his large body protecting him.
Xiang: Xi watched interested standing to one side and at the sound of the roar he reacts in instinct, his ear go back and he crouches down, though his eyes remain wide, wide and staring as the roar tears through the air, almost visible, or perhaps that was a trick of the eye. The sound, along with the sound of the cracking and crumbling of the huge stone was enormous and Xi wasn't sure if he'd ever hear right again. Then he was being shielded against the back lash of debris. Xi found that his breathing was coming in quick gasps and it took him a moment to gather enough air to reply, "That, that is..." He took a few steps towards the scattered pebbles, then turned back. "I am with out words to describe it. Truly amazing, Temeraire. How, with such a skill, could you think you lacked because of no fire breath. Such a skill, no one would touch you, have their attacks blown back in their faces, I imagine." He sits suddenly, forgetting his legs beneath him. "Amazing."
Temeraire: His long finned tail wrapped around the smaller male loosely as his body calmed and went still, the dust settling. He twists and turns to look down at him again, a pleased expression on his face. "Thank you. I am glad you enjoyed it. It is called the Divine Wind." He stared at him for a moment, then smiled gently. "Do not be afraid of me, I would never use it on a person unless they were threatening someone I cared deeply about."
Xiang: Xi beings to calm and now looks embarrassed, "I, I didn't think such, I do hope to stay on your good side!" He shifts on the newly shattered stones. "Divine wind, indeed, if I had not seen it with my own eyes, I might not have believed that you did it. Truely amazing." He repeats, then lifts his gaze again, "Perhaps your father was one of the gods?"
Temeraire: He seems to ponder this for a moment, then shrugs. "I am not sure. Perhaps he was... I do not remember him well, I didn't stay with him long, when I was a pup. BUt thank you, you honor me with your praze." Nods slightly, watching him curiously. "So your flames... they do not burn?"
Xiang: "Ah, I am sorry, to loose him at a young age, is regrettable..." Xi nods again smiling easily again and shifts to Teme's front, "Curiously no," he shifts his face down so that the other may touch if he would like. "I'm told it feels warm, but nothing more, my parents were perhaps, magicians~ *chuckle* But you are free to touch it for yourself."
Temeraire: "I see..." He watches him a moment, then smiles and reaches out, running a couple claws threw his flaming hair. "Ah~ I see... it is lovely, and yes, very warm." He pulls his paw back and smiles down at him. "Very lovely, I must say it's marvelous."
Xiang: It was Xi's turn to be honored, "Ah, thank you, very much." He was surprised to feel how gently Teme's touch was for his size, he brushed his own paw over his hear, backing his ears and dropping his gaze, his hair flickered as his paw passed over it and wouldn't lay flat. "So strange, that it just feels like hair to me, and not warm at all..."
Temeraire: He shifted and moved to lay down, so he wasn't looking up at the other male. Besides, after the large meal and making the divine wind, he was feeling a bit drowsy. "I am sorry if that troubles you, but I'm sure your body is just used to it. Still, you should be proud of the fact." He nods, eyes falling half lidded lazily, glossy scales glistening in the sun.
Xiang: "No~ Actually, I rarely think on it, to be troubled by it. I know I've grown used to others lack of reaction. I just find it strange when I do." His words were only above a murmur and he watched Temeraire settle himself, again his eyes tracing over his form, from where he sat the black scales reflected the light from the sun and his pelt shone. Xi was quiet and watchful, content as a breeze brushed over them.
