The family was overjoyed to have their daughter back. Therefore, a festival was made in her honor. Funny how festivals work, that the kit in question, was no where to be found. But after many years of celebrating, it became tradition to have all the females kits in the kingdom to look their best, and to pretend to be princesses. Whereas the males, were dressed up to look like knights, and warriors!

A honorable invitation was sent out to Tsukouru and his family, to be recognized as the founder or a princess of a different kind. The princess of the light kingdom, Elda. More invitations for those that fought in the Yin and Yang War, and the King, Acacius wished them all to appear. His rose his head high, as he looked below. Multiple events were happening, the floating lights, the dress to impress contests, painting stones for the city streets, and as he looked down at the festival, he couldn't help but to look up at the balcony where he had set his daughter to be.... hidden away from the world, and this festival was to entertain her... Even he had nearly erased her from history.

His kingdom, was huge, and for many years, he watched it grow and between the treaties and wars, he gracefully held proudness for their accomplishments... Some uudesa were even invited in to the kingdom, it was for all princesses, no matter where they came from or the ranks they held. Food was in abundance, and the atmosphere was joyful. The decorations, oh his subjects really did go all out this year.

He slowly made his way inside the castle, hoping to find his heir so maybe tonight, his reluctant son could possibly pick a bride. Kingdoms did have to continue the bloodline somehow!

"Please, excuse me, I'm trying to find the stage~" She question one, then another servant but they pointed her in so many directions that she exhaled with some frustration. "Where, dear brother, have you gone.." Huffing some,
after another servant got her mixed up yet again. This time, the smell of flush food hit her nostrils and her stomach growled something FIERCE! "Oh, dear.." Sighing as her nose led her outside and in to the festival.

She did sometimes do street performances but this was not her cup of tea!
So many ulaya within the villages surrounding the kingdom, where lights and decorations hung, food or every corner out on display, and trinkets that ulaya would trade and sell. Oh, this was too busy for Lili, and her nerves began to shake her.

With a few ulaya she bumped in to, she made her way in and found a stand filled with fresh fruit. Her favorite! Glee made her think less of her nerves and her stomach overshadowed all anxeity. "May I?"

"Oh please do!" The peddler exclaimed. "Anything for a princess!"
"Sir I'm no Princess~"
"Every female, today is a princess! Don't you know the festival of the princesses!?"

Taken back, she shook her head modestly and was handed a few smaller fruit in a cloth.
"The festival is named 'The Returning Princess' after the tale of the missing princess- stolen by the creatures of the deep was recovered! Now, every year,
a festival is made in the honor of the princess and all the females of the pride to rejoice and some parents even try to find some arrange marriages for their offspring but you didn't hear that from me!"

Lili softly laughed and bowed her head, having enjoyed the story and with that, her song that was requested by the king made sense. To sing a story~ what was the specifics of it? Oh, the peddler's story must have had the answers! Humming a tune in her head as she walked along enjoying the festival.

An ulaya of a different sort, had accompanied her brother to this Kingdom of waterfalls, and to her knowledge, a festival was going on! It would be her luck if she could land a suitable husband so she could take her siblings up a notch since of living out of the caves of their uncle, no. Their father, Sorii. It was nothing against him of course, he was a wonderful and doting father figure whom extended his doors to her and her siblings. But there were just too many kits, Sorii's and her...real father's offspring. Attentions would be divided, and sometimes they had to stretch food for several days but somehow, Ly and Sorii always made sure that they were all alright but it wasn't fair for them.. to have to care for them.

From what she understood of her real mother, whom had fled the scene after she dropped off their boxes to their father... She was a warrior princess of the Harpies. A feathered and talon majestic type of exotic ulaya whom were rarely seen. Maybe it had been her to have left some wears of her homeland within each of her siblings boxes, and it was the only things they had of their mother. With no memory of what she looked like, but she guessed she was the closest to her mother's color, although any guess was better than nothing.

"Aren't you excited Griffin, a festival! I've never been to one! I wonder what it's like~" Her cheeks brightened pink with anticipation and a skip to her step!

"Yes, indeed, Mayri..." Griffin answered brightly, though his mood had been noticeably lower than it usually was through the trip to the Waterfall Kingdom, he was trying desperately hard to hide it and put on a brave face. The message pinned by Sobie and signed by Tsu was tucked into a travel bag at his hip and he continued to check that it was still there as they moved through the growing crowds. He needed to deliver it to King Acacius as soon as possible, or at least get it into the paws of someone that could deliver it to the King. It was his responsibility and he wasn't about to let Tsu, and Sobie, down a second time.

"You won't have to wonder long, I just need to-- ah. Excuse me, excuse me. Please let us through... Thank you. As I was saying, you won't need to wonder what it's like for long, we'll be in the thick of it momentarily!"

Squeezing past a large group of brightly dressed ulaya at the gates, Griff kept one paw on the important missive and kept looking around everywhere, being sure to keep his jaw from dropping to the cobblestone streets. He'd never been to an actual real life castle before, nor had he been to a festive gathering of this size. Under any other circumstances he would be gaping like a kit, if not for the sudden grounding he'd gotten the day before via Sobie's lecture.

He had a very serious, very important mission that he needed to complete, post-haste, then and only then would he allow himself to indulge in the delicious smelling foods or play a carnival game, he also had to escort his sister around the grounds, that was also very important. It simply would not do for a young maiden to go cavorting off, left to her own devices. He could only image the kind of trouble she could get up to. Castles were often guarded by dragons after all. Especially ones with high towers...

The Waterfall Kingdom was like nothing she had ever seen before. There were so many ulaya, so much food, everyone seemed to be dressed in their finest. The costumes and pageantry of it all was so magical and she couldn't help but giggle and blush every time a vendor or performer called her 'princess'.

To say that she was charmed was putting it lightly. Though she couldn't bring herself to mind, it was a wonderful feeling, which is why it worked so well.

Strolling along merrily, chatting with her companion as well as many other festival goers, sampling every sort of foodstuffs that was offered, Nina hummed lightly to herself, the crowds weren't so bad no matter in which direction she chose to turn, dragging a guest along had worked out very well in her favor.

Click to show.Dinah came on Nina's invitation, they'd spent quite a bit of time together already, browsing the stalls and enjoying the attractions, but Dinah wasn't sure she would be staying much longer. She'd much rather be spending her time with a very different sort of princess right about now...

Crowds were not her thing and she didn't really enjoy being bumped into from every side. It wasn't as if ulaya could not see her coming! Still, the food was very good.

Finding herself sighing again for the nth time in as many minutes she turned to catch Nina's attention, or try.
The young female was giggling again, leaning over the counter into an open air stall, her light and playful voice drifting to Dinah's ear.

"Ah ah~! Teehee. Why, yes, I just might've been mistaken for a princess once or twice before, however did you guess?" Nina carried on for several minutes like this, until she was interrupted by a tug at her elbow.

"Nina... Sorry, but, I think I'm all festivaled out--"

"No, Dinah, don't leave yet!" Nina pouted, grasping Dinah's paws and giving her such a look with those watery blue eyes.

Click to show. The dark Ki'rin moved through the crowds with a very slow pace, his kind were known for their grace above all else, though this one seemed anything but... if one were to watch how he sway from side to side with every step, as if his front legs were taking two paces for every one from his hind pair. He listed and tilted to and fro as he went.

Unlike the other attendees, Teneme wasn't dressed in fine or brightly colored clothes. His only accessory was a heavy iron crown, which he twirled and juggled about his curved horn with every tilt of his head, his ears twitching out of the way, taking turns to miss being caught as the crown went slowly spinning round and round.

They were here to spy for his highness, to be his eyes, his ears. His nose, his tongue. The papillu royal wanted to know everything there was to know about the goings on of the other kingdoms and sent his servant to festivals and gatherings in his stead when he could not attend. It wouldn't do for the sovereign of another nation to crash the party of a rival king after all.

B1 was here to take it all in only, they had no other mission, or devious plot to carry out. Though they had been told to 'enjoy themself', following that bit of direction was quite beyond them. They didn't have the capacity to enjoy anything, they were here because they had been ordered to come. They would take in the sights, the smells. Color, flavor, texture, and report back what they experienced.

...OR SO SHE'D LIKE TO THINK. WITH THE WAY SHE CHEERFULLY SHOUTED GREETINGS TO THE REVELERS AND LOUDLY GASPED, OOHING AND AHHING AT EVERYTHING THERE WAS TO SEE, B1 WOULD HAVE TO BE VERY BAD AT ITS JOB TO MISS HER.

BEING A VERY TINY PAPILLU HAD ITS ADVANTAGES, BUT IT ALSO HAD ITS DISADVANTAGES AS WELL. FLYING ABOVE THE THRONG OF BODIES KEPT HER FROM BEING BULLIED ABOUT, AND GAVE HER THE HEIGHT TO KEEP AN EYE ON HER TARGET, BUT IT WAS ALSO SO EXHAUSTING, THEN AGAIN, JUST HALF A SUCCULENT PEACH WAS MORE THAN ENOUGH TO FILL HER BELLY... AND SHE SPOTTED ONE JUST BELOW HER AT A FOOD STALL, A FRUITERER IN A JUICE STAINED APRON WAS CUTTING MOUNDS OF PRODUCE INTO GENEROUS SLICES. SHE DECIDED THAT SHE COULD QUIT TAILING THE FAE PRINCE'S SERVANT FOR A QUICK SNACK.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.Thamos was here to listen to the famous duet sing, though there were other musical performances to listen to and enjoy as well. He often needed to find a quiet corner to deflate into when things became too intense for him to handle, which was often. Bouts of over-stimulation were worth it for the chance to hear professional singers perform. When this festival was over, he was going to need a long, quiet vacation spent without noisy distractions to fully recover.

The young prince found himself pacing. He understood that this festival was in celebration of one of his younger sisters. A child he had no real memory of. He stopped his pacing as he heard the telltale jingle of his Father's jewels. Smiling he walked out to look up to the elder.

"Father! Did you have need of me?"

Aurora gazed around as she made her way through the entrance of the palace, this waa her first time in the Kingdom of Waterfalls and she had heard that they were hosting festival of sorts. She was glad she found someone to watch Nebulae, this was her night to enjoy herself. She was acutely aware that she would draw attention to herself, given her unique coloration. She watched as other attendees mingled.

This was always a fun day for her. Araxie was most concerned with the beauty of things, and she was never disappointed when the festival occurred year after year. The decor, lights, music, dancing, and even ulaya who showed all contributed to the magnificence of this day. She enjoyed seeing all the beautiful, young girls adorned in the finest clothes prancing about the kingdom with their beaming faces, all happy to be regarded as princesses, even if it was only for a day. She thought highly of her mate for thinking of such a ceremony. 'My mate,' she thought, reflecting on the events that transpired over the years.

Although she always thought highly of herself, she never imagined she would end up a queen. In the past, she felt guilt for her affair with Acacius and removing the Uudesa queen from her throne by his side, but then that witch and her cohorts stole her daughter and held her for years, leaving Araxie to pine for the daughter she believed to be lost forever. It was the cruelest kind of punishment for a crime of unequal weight. Then, miraculously, her daughter returned, and the sadness left her heart along with any guilt she felt for her actions in the life of Acacius and his ex-wife. She never bore any hatred for the old queen – after all, hate was such an ugly emotion – but she could not help but look down on the ex-queen and her actions fueled by ugly emotions of jealousy, rage, and hate. The thought of such horrible things left a bitter taste in Araxie's mouth.

Despite these things, she had a gorgeous family with a regal mate in a glorious kingdom, and she loved them all dearly. 'I suppose I've done well for myself,' she mused with a light chuckle. She smiled, rising to her paws and heading off to join the festivities below, but not till after she found her family.

Today was an even more special day for her family, for her children had now come of age. It was time for them to find suitable mates with whom they may start families of their own. She felt a twinge of sadness in her heart, despite her happiness for the day. Her children has just grown so fast, and she had spent a good portion of her life without one of her daughter. She certainly did not believe she was ready to entertain the thought of becoming a grandmother. She was only just becoming accustomed to being a queen!

She dismissed the thought as she found Acacius and one of her two sons, Illusha. "My my, you are wonderfully proper today," she remarked, giving him an affectionate nuzzle before taking her place at Acacius' side. "I wish the same could be said for your brother..." Varak was the rambunctious one of the litter, and he was never hard too find. One simply had to look up.

Focused, pale eyes stayed fixed on the position of his father till he entered the castle. Varak knew for whom he was searching and for what purpose. Every other year, today was a fun day where he could tussle with other males from around the kingdom pretending to be warriors in battle, and he always won. His large, powerful wings gave him an unfair advantage in outmaneuvering his opponents. If that did not work, he had the extra, very unfair advantage of being a wind shaman, and he made use of his powers very early in life. He would throw gusts of wind at his opponents to knock them around. That was the limit of his control at the time, but that was all he needed.

This year was different. He was older, and there would be no skirmishing with the other kits this time. He had heard talk of finding brides. Brides! Now, Varak knew he was popular with the ladies. He was handsome, charismatic, and powerful. He carried himself with the grace of royalty, he knew what to say and what others wanted to hear, and he knew how to behave to get what he wanted. He took advantage of these gifts, and had gained the reputation of being a womanizer, though the ladies still did not seem to care. He did not enjoy the idea of being tied down to one girl, but, even more so, he knew he could not possibly be a good mate, leastways not right now. He would need to get this overwhelming lust out of his system before he could even think about taking a bride. He could not possibly treat a girl right at this time in his life.

He took in a breath, leaped off his perch on the highest tower, and dove headfirst to the ground below. He opened his wings to slow himself when he was above the ground and landed gently on his paws. He entered the castle a few minutes after his father, but, when he was inside, he took flight once again. He found a perch on a high window in the foyer and watched as his brother scampered up to his father like a pet. He chuckled. He bore no animosity towards any of his siblings, but he would always be sure to tease them whenever possible. He had irritated them more than once, but he did not care. It was all out of love.

It did not take long for his mother to walk in, praise Illusha, and then shift her gaze upward and immediately find Varak. He frowned, gliding down to his family below with a very defeated look on his face. "You never let me have any fun," he said, looking at his mother with a meek smile, as if he could fool her into thinking he's innocent. His charm did not win her over like it did when he was a kit. He was certainly cuter back then. Now she expected him to behave like a true prince, but it just was not his style.

He shifted his gaze over to Illusha, eyeing him for a moment before smirking. "Well, dear brother, fancy any ladies out there? I hear we're to be tied down soon." With that comment, he looked over at his father, waiting to hear what he had to say.

Curiosity had brought the ki'rin hybrid to the Land of Waterfalls. He had heard of this land's royalty and festival. A day celebrating princesses for a princess that was nowhere to be found. He looked around the crowed. It was apparent that most of these adorned girls were not princesses, only entertaining the idea on this day; similarly, most of these boys were not warriors, but dressed to look the part. Lothaire could be considered royalty in a way, for he did have a divine father and a mother who certainly looked like a queen in her own right. But his family carried no formal titles, and, despite all the magic and beauty in his blood or how much he looked the part, he was no prince. Still, he wished to see these children of royalty who must up in their castle.

He observed the towering, grand structure with interest. 'How does one who is not a prince gain entry to a castle?' His eyes flashed, a trait taken from his father, no doubt. 'Well, since I look the part, I could always lie about my heritage and claim that I am a prince.' He often found that his good-natured, temperate ki'rin blood clashed with he malicious nature gained from his father. He was the only ki'rin of his litter, so he wondered if his siblings experienced the same or if this clash was only due to the fact that he was more ki'rin than anything else. He was not outright evil like his father, but he could not escape this strain of mischief in him. You could call it evil diluted by the goodness of ki'rin blood.

It was because of that mischief that his older sister – half-sister, rather – had accompanied him to keep an eye on him, though they had been separated at some point amidst the festivities. It was no loss for him and he had no intention of looking for her. She was surely seeking him out and she could move quickly through the shadows of the crowd. He had to be faster in order to elude her.

So he moved swiftly with all the grace of the ki'rin he was through the crowd, making his way to the castle entrance.

I dunno why its so... long winded. Save me from me.
User ImageNebulous could hear joyous sounds long before she actually saw it. An entire festival of lovely females and well dressed males. She had never seen soo many costumed Ulaya in one place. Nor had she ever felt so suddenly out of place. In the end curiosity got the better of her and she made her way into the crowd, passing booths and merchants calling out to anyone who would listen. Trying, with some difficulty, to avoid bumping into nearly everyone in the town.

"You are very under-dressed." A calm, sweet voice spoke. Neb looked around confused for a moment before eyes landed on an older female. She seemed to be running one of the main booths lining the streets. Her smile was sweet. "The Princess Festival is a time where you should be made to feel like a Princess!"

"Princess Festival?" Neb tilted her head. She'd heard of that! A day where they celebrated a long lost princess returning home. They now used the day to celebrate all 'princesses' in every sense. This was her first time seeing it in person. Somehow all that came out was: "I see."

"Maybe this will help you get into the spirit!" She reached down and produced a simple, shear, red scarf. "It's not much, but I pray it makes you feel like a princess today."

Neb's eyes widened at the cloth presented to her. It was honesty the kindest thing anyone had ever done for her. It was also the loveliest thing she'd ever been gifted. With mist eyes she quickly whispered a 'Thank you' before taking the scarf with her teeth and half skipping away, with her head held high.

"No, sweet heart you're meant to wrap it around your nec--" The female sighed as her words were clearly not making it to the darker female disappearing into the crowd again.

She could not hide the frustration on her face. Usually, Aria was collected and level-headed, but that was before the little tyrant came into her life. Lothaire had a knack for getting himself into trouble, and she was the one who cleaned up his messes. She knew he would attend this festival, and she followed him here to make sure he did not cause any unwanted mischief. She was usually perceptive, but he was so unpredictable that he could catch even her by surprise. She hated that about him.

He did not want her company, for she always thwarted him one way or another. Now – much to Lothaire's delight, she assumed – he had lost her in this crowd. She hated crowds, too. Unlike her half-brother, she hated drawing attention to herself. Perhaps that was the shadow shaman speaking, and those genetics missed her brother despite them both having divine parents. She had to find him quickly. Unfortunately, he was smart, and that is what made this a recipe for disaster.

She meandered swiftly through the crowd, scanning the faces of the attendees. She was looking for someone who looked observant, for he may have seen something. After all, it was hard to miss Lothaire, even in this showy crowd.

She was not too choosy with whom she decided to ask, and it did not take long for her to approach an interesting ulaya with blue fire on his paws. She walked up to him and bowed her head. "Sorry to bother you, sir, but have you seen a winged ki'rin with bright red hair?"

"You're having fun, you stay. I'll go, we'll both be happy doing what we want." Dinah had a lot of patience, she had patience in spades. She had rows and rows of patience planted in a tidy little garden, she had an abundant harvest of patience. Nina had eaten through it all in the few short years they'd known each other.

Plucking her paws from Nina's grasp, Dinah was about to remove the crown of flowers she'd been gifted, plunk it down around Nina's ears as a parting gift, but for the look on Nina's face... She decided instead she'd give it to Bo.

"You never want to spend time with me anymore," Nina had crossed her paws and gave Dinah a look from the corner of her eyes. "I suppose I'd want to run off and leave you if I had such a pretty girlfriend~" The way the Draco's cheeks darkened with a blush, Nina knew she'd hit it exactly on the nose.

Dinah laughed airily. "That's not going to work this time, Nina. Anyway, you've ditched me any number of times to stalk your crushes." Yes, she blushed, just the mention of Bohemian brought color to her cheeks even now, but she was no longer so flustered by the mere thought of the dark haired beauty as she had once been. Dinah had already come to terms with how she felt and what she wanted. She gave Nina a beaming smile. "I'll tell her you said hello!"

Still smiling as she turned and moved into the crowd, Dinah skirted smaller ulaya, nodding and grinning at each she passed, guest and hawker alike, picking up speed as the crush of bodies thinned out and when it was clear she launched herself skyward, giving a joyful whoop, even as the rush of air from her wide wings set skirts and capes flapping as she twirled away into the sky.

Nina watched Dinah go, a touch jealous, but more than a little happy for her as well. Dinah had stayed with her almost the whole day, and she in turn had gotten carried away, taking her friend for granted. Still, she couldn't help but laugh as dozens of finely dressed ulaya squealed and shouted as their garments were set into disarray from Dinah's swift departure. Kind-hearted as she was, Dinah could still be a menace without even realizing it.

Now, bright blue eyes watched trinkets and accessories being half-trampled and scooped from the ground by grumbling fair-goers, with ill-contained glee, at least she wasn't the only one dissatisfied by the Draco's farewell.

"Lili!!", he called out with a scoff. She had wondered off....AGAIN! Everything was going well, they were discussing their performance and ok well he was lecturing her....again. It was a big deal though for them to be performing at such an event and he knew how she could get distracted. The festival was just too much and still she ended up wandering off. Vivi sighed as he couldnt really blame her. All the colors, music, movement....everything was magical!

Vivi shook his head, he almost let himself go for a bit BUT he knew they could enjoy the festivities after their performance was through. Now he just had to find her..... He dashed around from one area to another asking if any had seen a blonde uluaya in a glimmering pink dress with a silk bow and single white rose in her hair. A few said they seemed to remember giving directions to a maiden fitting that description and pointed him in the same direction.

Vivi shook his head knowing that on the scale as this directions werent going to be much help to Lili. It was then that he picked up the smell of food, more importantly fruits which were their favorites! He dashed outside amidst the crowds towards the food booths, but he didnt see her. He asked one gentlemen beside a fruit booth if he had seen Lili and described her. "Yes, not too long ago. That Princess headed back into the festival humming a beautiful tune!." "Thank you sir, you have my gratitude.", he said with a bow before turning and heading back into crowds.

Vivaldi knew it was almost time for their performance. He was starting to panic not being able to find her yet. He could see the stage ahead and......wait...that flutter of hair....was it? YES it was Lili she found her way to the stage! "Lili! There...you...are....", he had sprinted the distance to the stage to meet her. He tried to catch his breath, "You had me worried you know!", he said in a slight scolding tone, but with a smirk on his face seeing her look so happy. He tried to straighten himself out having run around like a chicken with its head cut off and cleared his throat. "So...you ready?"

Clef wasnt excited for the festivities. He had not been to such a grand event before. He had heard the stories of the lost princess though in his travels they had been exaggerated but to learn that it was in fact true broke his heart a little. He wondered if would've been able to aid in her return had he been around earlier. Nonetheless she was returned and he hoped she would live a full and happy life. He had heard though that the princess had yet to make an appearance and that she merely watched over everything.

He shook his head, riding himself of sad thoughts as this was a celebration. He had been beside some of the food booths and had enjoyed trying several things he had never seen before. He had to restrain himself to going back to a booth that seemed more keen on sweet treats. He decided to throw himself to the masses and mingle. He chatted with vendors and servants, trying to learn more about this land and its royal family. This was his first time here and it took his breath away. He heard tales of events that led to the lost princess being taken and the so-called truths behind the rumors.

He wasnt sure what he could believe to be honest, but it was a nice change of scenery. He somehow found his way to the dance area, it seemed like a special performance was being prepared. He decided to watch those dancing, taking in the majesty of it all. It was then his attention was drawn upwards. There was a high tower where you could make out the line of a grand balcony. As he looked he saw a glimmer of something or someone. He couldnt be sure but it felt like someone was watching. He found himself smiling and bowing to the tower, but once he rose up he felt the presence had retreated. Though he felt saddened by this for some reason he tried to shrug it off and wondered if he should ask a lovely lady to dance and truly join in the fun....

Once again, it was that time of year: the day of the Princess Festival. How… wonderful. How great. How fun.

Really, Eumelia liked the "festival" part. She was, however, significantly less fond of the "princess" bit.

“There are other tasks you could be doing, I’m sure.” Eumelia said bluntly as a handmaiden fluttered about, trying her damnedest to make sure the princess was presentable. ‘How tight are you planning on making this braid, madam? By the Gods, if she tugs one more time…’ She tolerated it just a minute more before deciding she’d had enough, a wing flicking out to cut the female off. Her hair – which Eumelia had considered to be perfectly fine before all of this fussing – would not be messed with any further. “As I said before… Other tasks? That you could be doing? Please, leave me be.” The handmaiden opened her mouth as if to say something, but quickly hushed and departed as the princess gave a sudden growl. A pleased smirk on her face, Eumelia went to work, running her nails through her hair and giving a violent shake to loosen things – the braid would be staying, but it needed some… adjustments. Royal adjustments.

... ... ...

Having made her way through the castle at her own leisurely pace, the princess gave a nod of her head in greeting as she finally approached her family. Most of them, anyways. “Well now, I spy… I see mother, father, Illusha, and -” Pausing mid-sentence, she shifted her gaze over to Varak, giving a crinkle of her nose, “Oh. You’re here as well, I guess.” get rekt That unimpressed face of hers remained for just a moment before she made it clear that she was merely teasing her brother, a paw brought up to her muzzle as she gave a chuckle. “And Varak, of course.” Flashing both of her brothers a grin, she moved to give their mother and father an affectionate nuzzle each; Acacius first, then Araxie. “Will we be joining the festivities soon? Or are there things that need attending to before we go off?”

((Eumelia's reaction to the festival, every year probably. :v))

In days such as these, he tried to keep close to family and leave matters of state to the generals and advisers. His children needed to fly the coop, and this day was perfect for the occasion.

"Yes, I need you two, to start mingling. Suitors have come near and far for this festival. A good impression would be nice, and to network would be even better. Your bodyguards should be around- instructed by advisers to arrange time with suitable matches. I pray you two do not dodge all of them..." It was then his mate graced them with her presence and immediately Acacius more aware. His son up upon the highest of the beams and he simply shook his head. Where did they get these mischievous behaviors, but the blame could nearly fall entirely on him.

Varak joining them, he bowed his head to them both. "Make yourselves known." He added, and went exceptional softer when his daughter came to them.

"No, my loves, we will be joining the festivities, I want our kingdom to know our family can enjoy themselves as much as the rest." Taking a step towards her and nuzzling her softly. "Your brothers will be making themselves available for matches, you still have time yet for such matters. Enjoy the festivities~" The boys, were something to manage, but he knew his mate would help guide Eumelia to someone perfect and he didn't worry as much over her situation. "Lets?" As he lead them down the halls, and out in to the balcony where everybody was busy doing something. Dancing, vending, playing and play fighting. Rescuing princesses, oh it was a marvelous event and he wanted to share experience with them. "I heard some fine delicacies from the southern region have taken up a booth. Shall we try that, or shall we watch some of the play fighting." A paige came up to him, spoke in to his ear and bowed.

"It seems we are about to be graced with the musical kingdom's finest..A duet~ in just a few minutes. So let us make room for such." Looking to his heir, the one closet to actually taking his role seriously... Illusha. "I believe one of your suitors~ is singing." Giving an approving chuckling as he guided his mate down to the food booths.
