 The ocean again. Like always. This time.. He had found himself away. Gone. The possible side effects of endured lonliness for now, long periods of time. Had made his paws simply, wondered. Looking around, the sound of the ocean had escaped him. The clashing against the rocks.. Them bashing against rock to rock, and the sound of the tides. Gone... Gone... Gone!
His face went from side to side, he could only see on one end and the more he looked around. The more nervous he got, and the more nervous he got, the more he walked. It was then that he realized that he was running and when he realized he was running and not looking where he was going. The sound of the branches crushing under them. The scramble of branches sounding off had him confused and disorientated. Gravity feeling as if it shifted from under him. His sight, rolling. His visions feeling as if someone had thrown him down a hill.......It was then that he could feel himself getting entangled and finally the sound of something cracking.
Then everything went black...

 Sobie hated the ocean, he detested getting wet and would retreat to the very back of the deepest cave or hollow log when it rained. The only time he willingly went near water was to quench his thirst, and for Tsukouru.
Today found Sobie in the woods, heading out for a walk. He thought about going to visit his oldest friend and before he knew it his paws had already set him on the path that led out of the forest and towards the sea.
All in all the ocean wasn't entirely awful, the sea air was cool and refreshing at least he could enjoy that much. He'd gotten used to the scent, because Tsukouru often smelled of the ocean, of course, with his home being at the sea side.
It happened all at once, the sound of paws and the dull thunk of solid wood against the ground, Sobie would know that sound anywhere, but what was the hurry he didn't know.
It didn't take him long to find the source, but he was still a long way off and could only watch as Tsu tripped and stumbled, tumbling into the underbrush. Rushing now, putting on speed his years had all but taken, Sobie rushed to his dear friend's side.
"Tsu? Tsukouru, old friend," his voice wavering with fear that was only just held in check. "Whatever is the trouble?"
A paw touched Tsu's shoulder, shook him gently in attempt to rouse him. Sobie looked around, there wasn't anything that had been chasing his friend, so perhaps his mad rush was not fleeing but rather where he was heading. Home? Was someone dear to him in danger, he could only guess.

He could still hear, but his visioin had left him now. Confusion waed through each sound, trying to navigate where in his surroundings it was coming from. It seemed, his body in a weakned state. Maybe that was why he fell.. He tried to focus his movement on getting his head up, and like a magic trick, when Sobie nudged him, his eyes opened. His vision a blurr, and the voice was drowned in echos.
"WHO ARE YOU!? GET AWAY FROM ME!" He shrieked as his head bobbed in all ways. "Any God of which forth, you may not taketh my life! I am a free man!"

Sobie was slightly taken aback by the sudden shout, but as soon as the frown touched his maw it was replaced by a wan smile. "It is only me, my dear friend. Sobie. Your life is your own, I'm not here to take it. Calm now, breathe, my dear..."
As he spoke, keeping his tone even though his voice was raised, and remaining calm himself, Sobie cleared the brambles from around Tsu's legs and gently check to make sure nothing was broken, as well as he could without touching him, until his panic passed.

It took him near ten minutes to full realize that what he had been experiencing was delirium. It felt like his ears were ringing and the blurred vision was a sign of dehydration, and it must have been from being in the sea too long. Probably on some rampage or an overextended fishing time. His head banged in every direction and finally it stopped as he laid there. Hearing the voice, as all he could see was a veil of white before his eyes. It wasn't before long that the blur began to dissipate with figures like a cloudy mirror. The color.. The color..
Then he said his name. Somehow, his mind triggered. "Sobie! I have been captured! Run! Save yourself!" He screamed, and birds began to fly away. Panic.. panic.. Which then subsided and his body felt numb. His breathing was strained til finally he realized.. When Sobie calmed him and removed the branches, he took this time to be guided by the gentle voice in to reality.
"I..don't know... how I...got here..."
One toe moved, but the rest of his body felt paralyzed still. But this unpleasant feeling was nearly unbearable yet he didn't exactly know how to get out of it. Maybe water. Not just any water.
"I'm....scared..." He finally admitted... In the lowest, most pathetic voice. His older age had taken a told on him, that and being alone.

Even if it had taken an hour for Tsu to realize, Sobie would have stayed calmly at his side, Tsu was his oldest, dearest friend, it was the least he could do.
"You're not captured, my dear, only caught in some brambles, and even if you were I would not run and save myself. I've never fought as you have, but I could never abandon my oldest friend." The screams and panic were becoming something that Sobie often had to talk Tsu through. He didn't know what else to do about it than to be there for him and reassure him that he wasn't in some outward danger.
"Can you find your feet my friend? Please lean on me if you need the support..." Sobie paused at the last words from Tsu's maw. "You were running, Tsu, I saw you and followed. Though, I don't know what you were running from, I'm here with you now."
Sobie took hold of Tsu's elbow and tugged in attempt to help him get three paws beneath him, "I'm here with you, Tsu, you don't need to be scared. There's a stream nearby, can you hear it? Let me help you along, my friend, a nice drink of cold water might just be the thing to help clear your head."

Tears were burning his dried out eye. It hurt to do anything and he was weak, the spots didn't help him focus when he closed them. Sobie's words went through his head, and he tried to focus on the sounds. The stream.... He could faintly hear it but he knew he couldn't move. He couldn't feel anything but the tingle of his nose.
"I do not have feet." His voice was raspy and rough. "Friend." He seemed to not know exactly who he was talking to, just that he said he was a friend, and he- in his fear would try and believe that. His oldest friend.. He tried to move his nose, but couldn't, just thinking- or trying to think of who was it- but in the end it was the serene feeling that made him simply stay in the spot.
"I couldn't find my way..I am lost." A statement which he could feel the immense weight upon him. "Friend.. dear friend...Who.. is my dear friend.. I wish for support but I am ...just..a face. A head."

Sobie laid himself down along Tsu's side, just touching, a paw covering the others paw to give him a sense of connection. Just until this recurring numbness passed.
"Sobie." He repeated his name, there were times then Tsu remembered him, but more and more often he forgot, and it was troublesome. Sobie thought, he should visit more often, although he was not sure that it would help.
"You're not lost now, my dear, I know where we are and I will help you home when you've calmed down and your feet return to you." His paw squeezed Tsu's lightly.

"Sobie..." He repeated, and his mind was trying desperately connect the dots. Til it did and he closed his eyes. "My dearest friend.." He repeated... and he was brought to a broken piece of their past. The times when they were happy- yes. He remembered, which brought him back to his present state and how pathetic he felt.
"And if my legs do not return... Will you leave me..too." Tears broke from the edges of his eyelids. He was lost in more ways than one, and he felt as if he should have been remembering something, someone important to him but he couldn't remember. Something was missing... and it hurt him to his core.

"Yes, that's right." Sobie murmured reassuringly, bumping his head gently into the side of Tsu's face and nuzzling his neck. "We've been friends since we were both young men... and you were always rushing off into danger and having your merry quests. Coming back and telling me such tales..."
His words trailed off as Tsu spoke up again and Sobie was aghast at the very idea. "Never."
He quickly shook his head and leaned in once more, lapping the welling tears from Tsu's eye. "If you could not walk I would carry you. It would be slow going, as I am not the young man I once was, but there is nothing in this world that would cause me to leave you behind, my dear."

"Please... help me."
With the voice of a defeatist. He wanted to remember, where he was, why he was heading here. Why had he left his home.. why had things gotten this way. What happened. He thought and contemplated for the moment it took Sobie to help him up. It was as if his head had detached completely. He could even feel the wind upon his bare neck. Was this what it was like to be dead? Or was he dead to begin within.
Memories began to spot through his head. His children, Kimi, and his wobbling self, limping away from him. He would do better to stay with him on the beach it won't hurt his legs too much. Had he eaten today? Where was he...where.
"No- Sobie- I must find my son! He's just a kit-! Barely able to walk- That's why I am here! I must find him! Help me find my legs- Sobie- my legs!"
How may times Rennoa came to care for him, how many times her daughters came to play with him. Time had passed, and when she asked her father- to come live with them in the white rock wood, he said he couldn't. He was waiting for someone. Always waiting. What if Sorii came by and he wasn't around? Or Jeiyana, the lost one. He was always worried about everyone else, and being there- and for once he needed someone there. So many sunsets and sundowns, to leave someone behind.. And leave them waiting... So seldomly the family could be together. Soon they all separated, and that was life.
It didn't mean it didn't take a tole on the one who's stood there beside everyone when they needed it most. The only one that stayed beside him now, and for so long through the years. Being a friend, and being a lover even if Tsu could not remember and in a mess of his own memories.
"Ren should be by him- she is always helping him out of the sands. Right? They must be somewhere around here." It had been years since they had been kits..
(( Jeiyana's image here ' SoriixLy's daughter that Tsu raised. )) "Tsu...?" She spoke up, then ran to them. "Tsu-!" She exclaimed, then bowed her head at Sobie. "What's wrong-" Facing Sosbie now, "What happened? Ren and me have been looking around the forest for a while.. We went to your home and didn't find you or Tsu there. Ren said Tsu has been getting worse- she came to me frantic. What- happened- what can I do." Her long tail lowered, in sadness to what had happened, all she knew was that Tsu did not look good. "He looks.. disorientated.. Water, some food. Want me to hunt something- I can bring it back to you. There is a stream not too far from here." Pointing her nose to the direction.

Another nod from the indigo marked male, he helped Tsu to his feet and let the other lean against himself as much as needed. Sobie thought a moment. Tsu usually calmed down if he would recount a memory they shared, whether by history or something that Tsu has told him of previous, and so he quickly racked his memory for something... only to have Tsu's memory get the jump on him.
Except it was more than a few years off. Kimihiro wasn't a child, and though he still did wobble, he could hold his own quite well. "Tsu, my dear, calm down. Kimi is fine. He's grown strong in your care and is probably off... playing with a friend. Right now... if you would like to see him, we could--"
Sobie let Tsu interrupt and nodded, although he knew that Ren and Kimi were not as inseparable as they once had been. "Ren is probably with her mate, Belial, Tsu... Or perhaps with her family." Sobie was always gentle when recounting the present for Tsu, especially when he was caught up in the past. "Her little daughters, Kohaku and Nanami always come to play."
They walked on a little ways more, just letting Tsu find his feet once more, but also heading towards the stream, so that Tsu could get a drink when Jeiyana ran up to them.
Sobie kept his calm and tried to express that feeling onto Jei, who has always been more than a little high strung. "Just a little lost," he murmured, keeping contact with Tsu, "We were heading towards home now, Jeiyana." With a quick stop at the water source.
"Find Ren, let her know I've got him, and send her to our home, then yes, you may hunt for us. I appreciate the offer, Jei, very much, thank you."

He couldn't feel himself below the neck, but he knew his body was being picked up. Moving off the floor, he felt like his head floated up towards the sky. Not being able to look around almost had him in a state of desperation but Sobie was there. Sobie was taking him along, just his head and that was fine.
Tears still fell. He was scared for his children, but Sobie's gentle voiced calmed him. When had his kids had kids? He didn't remember? Did they grow up without him? But Sobie reassured him the questions he would often ask in the down times when he got too bad to think. To bad to remember. Sobie would remember, he'd always remember.
His breathing was so shallow...
Jeiyana's voice, and the fear energy she had, began to rile whom. "Who- Sobie!" But just like that he heard Sobie's voice, although he couldn't single out what he was saying, his voice calmed the other voice, which calmed Tsu. For the moment.
Jeiyana nodded.. Looking at Tsu's back... It nearly broke her head, and with Sobie's calm voice, and the use of her full name stopped her nerves. She calmed too and gave him a nod. "Ok... Stream is that way, beyond the arch trees." Pointing then going off in the direction she had last saw Ren.
"Who was that- Sobie- Who-" He spoke up again. Watching the trees move along ever so slowly.
By the time Jei got anywhere close- she had seen scorch marks upon the ground. Ren must have been worried, running and in the clearly saw her screaming her dad's name. Trotting up to her, Jeiyana's words instantly calmed the fallen princess.
"He's ok.. He's with Sobie now. Let's find something for him to eat and-"
"How does he look." Worry filled her.
Jeiyana looked down, shaking her head.
"Is it destined- our family just disappearing. Kimi- Nana- Nana still hasn't even been home. Then Father.." Giving a sigh, and the ground stopped burning below her.
"As long as Sobie is with him.. I guess he is fine."
"He told us to come by, want to see him?"
"Yea, we can go hunt for them and go. I have to check on my family and I will meet you there."
"We'll find Nana Too... If we found Tsu and Kimi came back.. Nana will either come around, or we'll find her. But we are all fighters sis.." Giving Ren a soft nuzzle...
