 Laying in the shade of a large tree near a swiftly flowing river, Delilah was humming to herself. Not any song in particular, just adding to the music of the morning, the sound of the babbling river and the wind in the trees her only influences. She was taking a break from her traveling home, having already eaten her fill on some berries, nothing was really keeping her from heading out again other than her own lack of get-up-and-go! Just a few more minuets she thought, squinting up at the sun, it wasn't even noon yet, there was plenty of time.

 The female stretched delicately, her teeth glittering in the sunlight as she yawned. She had woken up earlier than usual this morning, deciding that a walk would be the best way to freshen herself up. Sure enough, the morning was pleasantly cool despite the sun, as well as clear.
Nayeli didn't have any particular destination - she was just walking wherever she pleased. 'It's not a bad idea to explore a little, after all.' She told herself. Her ears suddenly pricked up upon hearing a distant sound of running water. "A river?" She murmured out loud, cocking her head to the side. Promptly changing directions, she followed the sound of the water.
It didn't take her long before she reached the river. Smiling in delight, she padded up towards it, dipping a paw into the cool water. "I didn't know there was a river here." She said, mentally making note of where it was. It took her a moment to realize that someone was on the other side of the river, humming softly. She glanced up to be met with the sight of another female such as herself, and padded into the other Ulaya's view.
"Ah...hello there." She greeted with a smile.

 At the sound of a voice, Delilah's hum stopped.
"Hey, good morning~" She returned in greeting, thinking to herself that this could be a good distraction, to keep her from the road ahead, she smiled easily over the river, her melodic voice raised just enough over the rushing sound.
Laying where it had fallen ages ago a large tree trunk, like a bridge connected the two river banks, if she wasn't so lazy, Delilah probably would have made her way across to greet the other female more closely, as it was the log was in clear view of them both and this side was more inviting with its shade and lovely berry bushes, surely she could stay where she was a little longer and not be seen as rude?

"It's a nice day, isn't it?" Nayeli asked, grinning from across the river. She paused, frowning when she realized how awkward it was for them to be talking while a body of water separated them. It was then that her golden eyes caught sight of the log. Perking up, she hopped onto it, albeit a little shakily. "Mind if I join you?"
The female made her way across the log carefully, intent on not having an expected bath in the river this early in the morning. When she was close enough to the other side, she made a small leap, landing neatly in the grass. 'That wasn't so bad.' She thought to herself, smiling as she approached the other Ulaya.
Nayeli gave a little dip of her head. "My name is Nayeli. And you are...?"

"Indeed, the air here is calm and the sky, is not overly bright. Just the, kind of day, to enjoy the company one stumbles upon. Please, join me here~" Delilah curled her sprawling legs in, though there was lots of room around in the shade and of course in the sun, but she thought that small gesture would be inviting. Bowing her head back, she answered, her tone musical and light. "I am, Delilah, it is, very nice to make your acquaintance this day, Nayeli. Do you live around here?"
