Tsukurou, had found his way through the lands yet again, in an adventure of a certain stone that he promised a certain female. He walked calmly over the lands, almost close to the sea... He looked out- stopping in a moment to look at the scenery. He couldnt believe that he was so far from her...
But he smiled. He could at least appreciate the sight... The sea, he hadnt seen it in a while and it brought up his heart... "So long has it been huh..." Though he couldnt see the sea itself, he could smell it from miles- on how he missed it so. A tree beside him covered the sun from his rough pelt that looked and felt as soft as snow. His fur flowing in every direction. His ears caught up some voices and long behold from where the hill was that he stood- there was a few Ulaya in the area... But he didnt want to go and talk- he rather have just watched over and see how real families interact.. and wish for his own. Which he often did.
He took a seat and leaned his back against the tree... With soft eyes... then slowly closed his eyes..

Running hard and with her tiny wings stretched out as far as they would do, Pooka bound across the grassy expanse, her bright eyes sparkled in the sunlight and her joyous laugh echoed gently around. She was wearing herself out bounding down a hill and then racing back up it, again and again and sometimes racing in wide circles, leaping through the air and just plainly and clearly, throughly enjoying herself. In the branches of the shade tree at the top of a hill rest a male of a dark tan color, he had stripes of indigo down his back, on his face and feet he was currently resting with eyes closed, though they did peek open now and again to check on the girl. Sobie made note of the older seeming male now seated in the shade, but didn't move to greet him, not out of rudeness, the opposite, Sobie tended to leave others alone.Pooka also noticed the black and white male, she slowed in her single person race and trotted right up to him. She cocked her head to one side as she looked him over, then announced in a innocent voice only a child could pull off, "I have a wood leg. Were you born with your wood leg too?" Indeed the girls legs were all her own and she now used them to climb a few feet up the tree, then changing her mind, she hopped down from the trunk and instead climbed onto Tsukurou. "My name is Delilah, your name is Delilah too?" She smiled wide but when she heard the branches above rustle with movement, she let out the smallest groan of disappointment. With a huff of impatience, Sobie dropped from the upper branches and with his teeth grabbed the girl and dragged her by the scruff, off the other male, then holding her, for she squirmed for escape, he spoke with practiced refinement and his voice was melodic if slightly annoyed. "Pooka. Your name is Pooka." To the male he spoke now and Pooka wiggled out from under his striped paw. "I apologize sir, this little lady just cannot seem to learn the correct manner in which to greet a fellow. I am Sobie, and this," he looked pointedly at Pooka who was now sitting on her rump and looking bored, "is Pooka." Sobie's expression was half determined and half hopeless, and Tsu may note what a strange combo that might be. Sobie was stubborn and Pooka a fibber and so they were quite an odd pair.

Tsu tilted his head a bit as the lil one jumped on him, without a word he just looked and gave a faint smile. "No.. Only Tsu." Then as he said this a male sprung the little one off him. "Ah, so her name is Pooka.. How amazing this little on is. So active."
He looked at the girl pouting a bit. "Its no problem.. I seem to attract many lil ones.. I think its my aura or something." He shrugged this off. "She is an interesting one.. " He leanded forward in to the little one's grasp. "You have a great imagination I bet. Right? " He looked at the male. "No problem.. though.. I must say, she looks to be a paw full and more hmm?" He smirked at the male. "Though you seem to be the right Ulaya to take her in to your care." He noticed that they had no related markings thus made his own conclusion about them. Hoping it wasnt far from the truth. His tail started to wag. "If youd like, why dont I treat you guys to fish. Ill catch them.. how does that sound." He looked to the lil one now and smiled kindly.. Extending her a paw of reassurance.
the air around him, wasnt mad nor did his aura seem destructive- opposite. His aura was more.. calm.. calm to a point of almost unapproachable- yet many lil ones seemed to find him more interesting and would come up to him, as the adults didn't really pay mind.

Pooka smiled in return and set her tiny wigs to flapping hard, "My name is Tsu! Tsu!" Then she rolled backwards and kicked her legs in the air, laughing at her own joke while the males spoke.
"I don't know where children get their energy these days," Sobie sighed, "I was never one to just climb on others. Pooka!" Sitting upright with his back straight, Sobie was now glaring at the youth, who had given up on laughing and was moving to climb on Tsu again, at Sobie's admonishment she decided to just sit infront of the black and white male, instead of on him.
"Well if you don't mind her, I'll leave her to you, but do be warned that she, isn't the most serious child." Sobie relaxed his posture and settled into the grass near Tsu and Pooka.
"Wrong! Pooka has a terrrrible~ imagination, she can't -ever- think of anything and is always bored!" Pooka smiled and nodded her head as she answered Tsu. She took a moment to study Tsu's appearence, looking at his leg close up and then his eye patch. Though after she'd pay them little mind, content after getting a chance to look.
Sobie sighed again and gestured to Pooka in response to Tsu, "If that is any indication, she is a pawful and more. Delilah and I were deemed her guardians, though she is not our offspring in the ah, traditional sense. Even if I seem to complain," Sobie began to admit, "I do enjoy her, enthusiasm, for life. And I mean to bring her up properly." Sobie nodded his head once, as if to say, if it's the last thing I do.
"Fish! Fish! Fish! Pooka hates to catch and eat fishes, but Sobie doesn't!" Pooka hopped around in a circle and then looked to Sobie and grinned showing her teeth before catching attention to Tsu's extended paw, she moved to him and extended her own towards his, "Tsu hates fish too?"
"Ah," Sobie cringed back a little bit, "I don't, hate, fish Pooka, I just prefer to eat other things... I must decline Tsu, though I must also thank you for your generous offer." An idea came to him then, "Ah, Tsu," here Sobie would have addressed Tsukurou with his full name had he known it, "Could I ask you a favor, if you would take Pooka with you and show her how you catch fish, it is a skill that she could benefit from learning, something I must admit I have failed to teach her. Though she does know how to swim, because that is something I knew she must learn."
Pooka was excited, she was sure that Tsu would see his offer through, she wiggled and hopped around, waiting for the males to agree and part ways, then she would follow Tsu, depending on where they were headed she thought that Sobie might come as well, even if he didn't want to eat fish with them.

Tsu nodded and smiled. "Well You just have to hope for the best.. and even if they are full of troubles and energy now.. When you wake.. They will be an adult.. and hopefully.. they will have remembered what you taught them for the future.." As he was saying this he had no idea what the little one was doing, and he felt an added weight to him. "OOmmph." He was surprised at the extra weight, and as soon as he turned. There behold was Pooka..
His ears went up and slanted when Sobie jumped at the chance to get her in the right path and she slowly came in front of Tsu, He just observed.. And leaned close to Pooka's face.. "Your cute." He got up slowly and stabled himself out again. He turned to Sobie, accepting his duty and started walking off towards the hill... He slowly walked.. and walked.. And once he was at the top of the hill- he let his fur be taken by the wind of the ocean breeze.. Switching all sorts of ways and waving his fur in every which way...
Then he turned his body, facing Pooka [ that was behind him? ] Smiling softly.. letting the wind take his nose in the sea.. The vast look of th ocean behind him as he looked at the small child. "Hurry up now.. We'll miss the fish of the morning!" He smiled.. brightly- the feeling in his heart began to lighten.. and he began to change.. Slowly..
'Will i be able .. to change before I get back to you...' His heart yearned.. Hidden behind that kind face..
"Come along..." It seemed when he was walking he'd never wait up for her.. But here he was... A kind soul.. He lowered his head a little to be a descent size for him to talk to her in her level. Kids.. wanted to be understood.. did they not?

Sobie grinned, "Well said," Sobie stood now and stretched, "If you don't mind my asking, are you a father Tsu?" He has decided to come along for a little while, it was sure to be cooler nearer to the water and the trees were lovely there.
Pooka grinned as she skipped around Tsu, but said nothing in reply of being called cute, though it made her mirthful. She followed where the 'pirate' led though running this way and that, and when she caught whiff of the ocean she grew still let it wash over her, following in the footsteps of Tsu. The view of the ocean was as wonderful as ever, even Sobie would agree, even if he didn't like to be in it, it was still a marvelous sight.
Pooka stayed close to Tsu now and Sobie wasn't far behind, she liked the simple and kind way that Tsu spoke, and she was excited to learn fishing from him, Delilah had caught and shared some with her before, but the older female had not gotten around to teaching Pooka what it took to catch fish on her own.

Tsu kept on his walk now, turning back to the ocean.. Walking a few feet. Excited that the male decided to follow along.. He looking to his side at Pooka. "Excited...?" He smiled softly and felt the soft sand under him now as he kept on til he got to the lowest part of the ocean. The shore.. he let his hair that almost looked like a mane now. Shaking a bit letting his soul be apart of the ocean now..
The waves touching up to a lil up his paws. "Ok.. First.." He leans down and says softly to her. "Feel the water.. be part of it.. Sounds weird but you gotta feel where the currents are coming." He lifts his paw and points. "Those waves are like currents. Where the direction the water is going.." He put his paw down and stepped a few steps further in. Then now.. when you get here. You look for fish. Always look what direction they are going too. You have to do a lot of watching and waiting.
He looked back at Sobie and smiles at him.. Nodding in conveying the feeling of the smooth ocean breezes.

Sobie settled in the shade of a nearby tree as Tsu and Pooka took to the ocean, he lowered his head to his paws and watched them with half-lidded eyes, glad that he had found someone to teach this skill to the youth, he would no longer have to prod at Delilah in hopes that she would do it, like he had when he'd wanted her to teach Pooka how to swim. Sobie left them to the lesson with a smile on his maw, content to just watch.
"Am not, am not!" Pooka sang with glee as she followed Tsu down the sandy shore and to the waters edge, now she listened and did as he said, speaking little and paying close attention, she tread into the water and the cool foam wet all four paws, she grew calm and didn't prance around like she had before, she knew that would scare off the fish. Shifting her head left and right she scan the water for the tell-tale flicker and flash of fish scales and when she spotted one, she didn't wait for more direction, she just darted into the water after it, surely fish catching was easy, sadly she came up to the surface without a fish at all. "This is easy," She looked at Tsu and water ran from her fur as she trotted back to him, "almost caught it." Which is the opposite of what had happened.

Tsu covered his maw and chuckled a bit. "Why don't I try." He smiled softly and slowly and carefully walked in to the water.. Knee high to him and closed his eyes. Feeling the vibrations of the waves that the fish were creating.
Then he opened his eye- it seemed to turn sharper then usually with a light film over it. Then after not even a half of a second Tsu dunked his head in so fast and lifted it up with two larger fish. He had been doing this for some years now, well most of his life- he turned to the lil one, with the flapping live fish in his maw, his hair dripping over his eye and snout. He ruffled his nose a little and then threw the fish back in to the sea, his hair flowing up and then patted down just as quickly.
"Now. Do you want to try this?" He took a light huff and got ready to start the physical training for it. Dipping and holding breath to catch the buggers. "Fish are fast and slippery.. Remember to get them in 'front' " he nodded softly- and would explain further about what he meant but waited to see if pooka was getting all this.
He shot a glance at Sobie- smiling quite a bit for letting him have the chance to help out once more.

Sobie, content where he was raised his head in watching. Tsu was, from what he could see, a very hands on teacher, the old male smiled at Pooka's antics.
Watching carefully Pooka noticed that Tsu had not struck with swiftness and only when the fish were very near, that didn't give the slippery fish time to escape, she was saddened to see that he let the fishes go, but that made her more determined to catch one for her own, she nodded following what he had said, and stood at the ready to watch and listen further. Her excitment caused her tail to twitch, but otherwise she was still, and tracked with her gaze the flash and flicker below the water.

"Ok.. Now make sure you understand where they're going... And strike a lil above they're head.. Watch.. and right when theyre coming- go for where theyre headed ok?" He smiled brightly and let his hair air dry.. Watching her stance and hoping that her tail wouldn't shuu away too many fish. He chuckled some then calmed a bit.. Letting his ears fall to their sides as he watches carefully..
"Hmm.. Wait for it.. Wait for it.." He said softly.. Watching a bundle fish coming her way.. and woudl even go in for it himself so they don't leave without anything.. But he retained himself waiting til she gets the expirenece.
His short tail still and her long mane made like a fishing pole as a fish went to bite it. He watched.. and watched waiting to see if she could decide to dive for them herself or not. Seeing if she was paying attention as well. His whole being and attention was to Pooka and her their lil fishing lesson with all his soul- he even looked younger as he chuckled. Being around kids had that effect on him.

She nodded, understanding that if she aimed above the fishes head that because it was moving there was a good chance that if she aimed to low that it would swim out of reach, the best way, she thought, was to let the fish come as close to you as it would, then strike!
As she watched the fish she grew still and anticipated her lundge, Tsu's voice had her on her toes and she waited, but then, when she was sure that it was close enough, she waited no longer and pounced into the water, sinking her teeth into the cold fish and then bringing her head out of the water with a triumphant smile on her maw.
Sobie stood now and moved closer to the water's edge, there was a large flat rock there for him to settle on, and he could see better, how they were getting on, he smiled when Pooka caught the fish, "Good show, Pooka! Good girl!"

Tsu just smiled.. Being her accomplishment- he was overjoyed at this. Then. He laughed. So lightly.. and kind. "You did it! Good job.." He gave a lick to the top of her head- where water seeped from; and nuzzled her cheek softly. "Go show Sobie now. I bet he would like to see what you've caught Im sure." He chuckled softly and let his body seep away from the water. He didn't like being in the water so much.. He had a thing about it. Like he was once apart of- but now connected but not. Confusing- he only did this as a stride; settling himself up on a rock and shook a little; letting the excess water fly away from him.
Then he slowly batted at his mane; trying to pat out the water from it.. Licking his paw occasionally then drying it out with his fur. His ears went down a little as he repeated it til his face was now presentable at least. Thats all- the rest of his wet body he thought could be dried with the winds of the ever last. Striking to look at what Sobie's approval was.

"Mm hm~" Pooka chirped, her mouth full of fish, she trotted out of the water and shook herself mightily, water flying in all directions, she was still wet but not dripping as she made her way to Sobie to show him.
Sobie cringed as water from her shaking sprinkled him, it wasn't much though, happily. He smiled at the youth and her catch, it wasn't big but she'd probably want to share it, he hoped that Tsu was hungry. "Good job Pooka. Wonderful, Tsu, my good man, you are a wonderful teacher! Do you teach kits often?"
After Pooka had shown the fish to Sobie, she settled a bit away from him and tore into the cold white flesh ripping it in half, she offered the other half to Tsu by setting it in front of him, before happily gnawing on the bit she kept for herself.

Tsu made his way closer to them and his ears went up as he caught the 'good man' part. He chuckled some and bowed his head a bit as he stood in front of them. Smiling softly. "A little. I have seen and been around many kits.. in my travels. they all hopefully learned something I left behind." He chuckled some as to remember Midori and her getting lost. Now she doesnt get lost as often the last time he spoke with her- because he showed her the tricks on how to get form one place to another without getting lost.
"Though I hope to show many others.. Seeing them get accomplished.. makes me feel a lot better." He finally said after watching pooka with all her joy cut the fish in half. He nodded and accepted the offering and looked at Sobie. "Well.. Now you have a fisher.. and she won't go hungry on her own." He laid down at the spot and nipped at the fish a bit; his tail wagging... Then looking at her. "Thank you- its delicious.. You'll become a great fisher indeed." Almost cheering her on for the future.
