Aseara was born one very frosty early morning in the confines of a small hut. She was as perfect as any child her two parents could have asked for. Pale sky blue eyes, hair almost as white as snow they really could not have asked for better. Aseara was a healthy baby and did not cry much if ever at all, she was constantly bundled up and cared or by her mother and lived a very normal life. When she was able to walk, Aseara followed the tribe and learned quickly how to scavenge; it was perhaps one of her greatest skills as a child.
When the war began with Oba, families were separated and Aseara’s was no exception. Her father gave his goodbyes one day and that was the last Aseara ever heard or saw of him. Whether her mother was in contact with him or not she never found out. They moved around too much and her mother became a recluse that could not speak. Only waiting by the window for her father to come back. Even as a child Aseara learned to do things on her own and learned from her other tribes man instead of her own mother.
In the middle of one night, her mother packed up their things and dropped Aseara off with their neighbours. The little girl had no idea of what was going on but she saw her mother have purpose again and walk off into the night. Her mother promised her that she would return, just as her father had done. She had told her she was safe with these people, that she wouldn’t be with them for very long. It was a very confusing night for Aseara and one that she will remember her whole life. That night she left her small village and never looked back.
As the war ragged on the guardians collected many other children from their families and said they would protect them. They did so for a very large sum of gold to care for the children, but most of the time they were always running low on supplies. Aseara’s scavenging proved to be useful and very helpful even though she was scold for it most of the time. They traveled far and wide and Aseara saw a lot of the world around her. But she never heard from her parents again and she put them behind her once and for all.
When the war was finally announced over, the guardians began to slowly return all the orphans back to their villages. The strain lessened every time a child left them and things did get better for some time. Aseara had grown much during this time, she knew she was able to care for herself and others. When she was finally returned home, her neighbour told her she could watch over her but she would have to find her own way. Aseara settled in the broken down old hut her parents had lived in and decided that she was going to change.
Her neighbor taught her to dance, the only useful skill Aseara seemed to possess apart from scavenging. It proved to be useful as she got older and began dancing on the street for money or items. It was not the best of jobs and sometimes proved to be a hard life, but Aseara was content and her skill managed to get her by well enough. That was when she caught the eye of an Oban who was traveling through the village. The woman saw her skill and offered her a new life if she came to dance in Oba. Aseara could not refuse.
Afsana taught Aseara many things, from reading to writing, to etiquette and numbers. Her education was unparalleled and her dancing only became even better. Afsana started giving her small jobs around the Red Amaryllis until her education was completed before she began to dance for customers. She became well known for her dancing and beauty and was one of the highest paid dancers of the Red Amaryllis. Being allowed time off, Aseara met Nuri, an Oban who aspired to join the army. While they had a rocky start to their relationship, he became one of her closes friends in Oba.
As Aseara grew older, Afsana began giving her other duties, managing the other girls or seeing to clients. It was an obvious sign that Aseara was one of her favorites and hat perhaps Afsana would hand down the Red Amaryllis to a foreigner. When the rumors of war in Sauti came, Aseara pleaded Afsana to go to war back to her people. Afsana was reluctant but allowed Aseara to go on a single promise. The Wind girl would never return to Sauti, she would forget her world outside of Oba and remain at the Red Amaryllis. Aseara agreed and left to aid in the war.
Upon her return from the war to Oba, Afsana had decided on who would take over. Antoher ban named Janeska was named instead of Aseara. However, Afsana promoted Aseara to assistant for a while so she could learn. The Obans would be going on a voyage to Yaeli and needed someone to be in charge. Aseara took the roll seriously and learned even more under Afsana’s tutelage. When the Oban’s finally were able to leave, Aseara took over the Red Amaryllis and made it flourish like never before. She was proud of her work and happy to see how well the Red was doing.
Nuri and Aseara’s relationship continued to develop and the Wind girl found herself having feelings of the Oban. Feelings that were mutual, so when Nuri said he would be leaving for a bit to explore the world Aseara was heartbroken, but made him promise he would return to her. A year into managing however and Afsana returned with Janeska only to find that Aseara had broken some of the rules. In her fury, Afsana threw out two girls and demoted Aseara to a servant girl. She had also brought back a Yaeli that Aseara was now in charge of.
Feeling like she had failed those around her, Aseara decided that she had had enough. She would build and use her connections to thwart Afsana and Janeska. In secret, Aseara began forming alliances and cutting off Afsana from close friends and connections. All was going well and after years of preparations the large dance finally happened and that was where Aseara decided to make her move. She over threw Afsana and took her place as owner of the Red Amaryllis. It took a few weeks for the dust to settle and for things to go back to their working over but Aseara has been doing a good job so far.
In this time, her relationship with Nuri flourished. They were finally able to come out and not hide their love for each other. Nuri proposed and Aseara accepted and the couple soon started to look for a home where they could live together. They found a home not too far from the RA but also found out that Aseara was pregnant. A joyous time for both of them, the couple gave birth to a set of triplets; 2 boys and 1 girl. Now Aseara continues her work at the Red and looks no to the future with a smile on her face.
