Eleina felt so at home at Oba, which was kind of strange for her. But after traveling across the land she felt like there wasn't anywhere she would rather be. Sure she had seen cool things, but this was her home and she knew it.
One of the places she missed most in her travels was the marketplace. Sure the other kinds of earthlings had their equivalent of marketplaces but none of them were like Oban marketplaces. They didn't offer the same kind of things, and the ones she had seen hadn't been as big as the ones she frequented in Oba.
The feeling of missing the marketplace was what brought her to one. She really didn't want anything but decided to look around anyways. She always found pretty things for sale when she wasn't looking for them.

Being back home felt good, but it also meant Aseara wanted to be the first to represent the war that had just pasted in dance. A large dance at that too. She hadn’t worked out all of the dancing yet, she’d gathered some stories from those who had returned so she could weave them into one large dance play, but she was working out the kinks. One of these kinks also meant that Afsana had given her some money to purchase some new clothing specifically for the dance. Picking out clothing was already hard enough, but the props they would need would be just as complicated too.
So here she was, looking at some clothing to try and represent the Akidikes. The tall woman had very little clothing; Aseara wasn’t sure who anyone would be able to dance in such clothing much less dance in them. She was torn between two pieces however. A tan tube top with matching skirt split on the sides up the thigh to allow for movement, or a bra like item watching with a skirt that barely hide anything at all, it looked like someone had put together two clothes. One in the front and one in the back the length of the floor.
Aseara scratched her head as she contemplated both pieces; she grabbed them and turned them to the side hoping to get a better angle on them but ended up hitting a woman!
“I am so sorry!”

Although she hadn't come to the marketplace with the thought of spending money, as she looking at the clothing she couldn't help but want something new. Something that represented her new status as a Spirit Walker. She was looking at gloves of sort when a person backed into her. She turned quickly to apologize but heard the other person was already doing so.
She recognized the voice and a smile spread across her face when she recognized Aseara. When Eleina was still undecided about what she wanted to do with her life she was considering becoming a dancer, which is how she knew the other girl.
"Aseara, long time no see!"

“Eleina!” Aseara quickly handed back the items to the merchant before she grabbed the girl into a tight hug. She was happy to see that she hadn’t hit a stranger but a friend and on top of things one she hadn’t seen in a little while.
“It has been a long time, how have you been?” Eleina certainly looked like she’d grown up and found her way. She was glad, she’d seemed so nice when they’d first met. She would have made an excellent dancer if she had continue to pursue this path. Everyone had to find their own way at some point though.

She held onto Aseara tightly. It had been so long since the two of them had seen each other. Much too long. Aseara was one of the people who didn't ever see her as a hybrid, one of her true friends for as long as they knew each other.
"I've been good. Finally decided on my path, I'm now officially a Spritwalker." she was proud of her status, even if she didn't do so well during the battles. She would get better. "What about you? Shopping for things for a new dance?" Aseara was the best dancer, in her opinion. If she had gone down that path she would have wanted to have Aseara as her mentor, teaching her things that no other women knew.

“Spiritwalker!” Aseara said excitedly. She always enjoyed knowing her friends were doing well on the battle front. “That is a good path for you. I am happy for you.“ It suited Eleina perfectly well, Aseara was really happy that she’d found her path. And to think she’d almost ended up as a dancer! She was sure Eleina would have been wonderful in both roles anyways, but Spiritwalker seemed like a better option than dancer. More glory for those who fought she thought and much more power. She was a bit envious that Eleina was learning to defend herself and others and she could not.
But that’s why she didn’t leave the city.
“I am actually shopping for a new dance, but this time I am directing it,” a new and exciting role for her. “I went to the battle with the Alkidikes and I wanted a dance to represent the fight.” She was in the healer tent, but she’d gotten enough version of the story to be able to spin something and retell the tale perfectly well. “Did you go to that fight?” She wondered if she had gone, was it where Eleina had decided which path was the best for her?

She smiled excitedly. It was good to know that other people thought it was a good path for, and especially since Aseara was someone who she admired greatly. "Thank you, that means a lot from you."
When Aseara said she was directing a dance Eleina's eyes grew wide. "Aseara that's amazing!" she said as she hugged her friend tightly. Directing was a big step from dancing, which meant that Aseara had gotten even better from the last time that they had been together. "You were there?" A flash of worry crossed her face, although she knew Aseara came out unscratched she was still worried for her friend. What horrors had the other girl seen?
"Yes I did. I had just become a Spiritwalker before that and felt that I had to help." She didn't really end up helping as much as she would have liked, but at least she was able to heal some people on the battle field. "I can't believe we were both there and didn't see each other. Though there were many many people there."

“Thank you,” Aseara returned the hug. “Yes I was there; Sauti is where I came from. I think I needed to go just one last time. I don’t think I’ll ever go back though, ever.” Not just because of her promise, but because now she was looking to the future. “I was safe the whole time, no need to worry for me. I can barely manage to cook, imagine if someone had actually handed me a sword!” She would certainly have injured not only herself but anyone who was around her. She was not a warrior, or at least not a warrior of the same trade as a weapon wielding one.
“I’d glad you’re okay. Yea, I was mainly in the healer tent though. Running around fetching things for the real nurse and such.” She nodded her head in agreement to the numbers of people. “Are you free right now? I’ve got a bit of time if you want to grab a quick drink.” It would be easier to catch up then. She still couldn’t believe Eleina had been there! She was always looking of stories and other version as t what had happened, Eleina’s version would be a great addition to what she already knew.

She nodded, happy that Aseara got to go to go back to where she was from and that her friend was satisfied with the visit. She wanted Aseara to be happy, and if that meant her living in Sauti that would be fine, but Eleina was happy that her friend wouldn't be far from her. That was she could always come and visit her when she had free time. She laughed at the image of Aseara with a sword. "Good, I'm glad you were safe and away from harm. Though imagining you with a sword is pretty humorous."
When Aseara asked her if she had free time Eleina nodded eagerly. "For you, even if I didn't have free time, I would some. It's been too long since we've drank and talked together." She lopped her arm through her friends with a smile. She wanted to hear more about what happened at the healer tent and how her friend was progressing. Hopefully she had good dancers under her now.

“I guess that would be pretty funny.” Aseara chuckled. It wasn’t farfetched; she’d been trying to dance with a sword as a prop. She was awkward with it and wouldn’t stop dropping it. It certainly would take a while to learn the technique completely let alone learn it with a dancing choreography. Some of the other girls had been able to at least master moving it around with ease but had trouble with the choreography. It was a lot to taken in, but once everyone had perfected it she would be able to put on the final dance that she’d been preparing for.
“Perfect!” Drawing Eleina closer, Aseara began to walk along the shops until they found the first place they could enter for a drink. It was a quiet place; few patrons were in for drinks at this time. A woman waved for them to take a seat where ever they pleased and Aseara eased into a chair. “Feels nice o be in the shade.” And it would be even nice once they got something to drink. Aseara was looking forward to a cool citrus drink whenever the woman came around. “So tell me, what else have you been up to?

Although when they entered the tavern for a drink the pair got a few strange glances, they did make an amusing pair, soon the patrons attention was turned elsewhere and the girls were left to their own devices.
Eleina slid into a chair opposite of Aseara and nodded at her comment. "The heat here can be unbearable at times."
When asked what else she had been up to Eleina smiled deviously. She had been wanting to tell someone about the Ice man she had rescued, but had no one she trusted enough to tell about the feat. Aseara was someone she trusted though, and Eleina figured it would be nice to get off her chest. "Did you hear about the ice man who attacked the noble before the war? It was a whole fiasco, ruined the marketplace and everything."

Aseara ignored the looks; she was used to them by now. As Eleina spoke, the wind girl tilted her head as she tried to recall. She had briefly heard of it, she’d honestly thought it have been a rumor or simple gossip.
“I did but I didn’t think the story had any truth to it.” This was interesting, had Eleina seen something or been involved in it? Surely Eleina hadn’t bene involved; she didn’t see her as the type to instigate something like this. “But do tell more.” The waitress came around with 2 cups and placed a jug of cool water before flitting off somewhere else.

She thanked the waitress before pouring both her and Aseara some cool water and putting the jug in between them.
"Well I wasn't there when it happened, but I'm the one who broke him out! I brought him to one of the dance houses and left him there for a while to heal, while I was fighting. It was crazy. He was so powerful. And the marketplace was actually beautiful after the fight. He transformed the land with his power, it was crazy really."

[quote="a pet dino" “You broke him out?” Aseara’s jaw opened into a large ‘o’. “Are you serious?” The Wind Earthling couldn’t believe what she was hearing! “No way, why would you break him out?” It was a little scary to think that someone like that had been broken out even more so by Eleina! Aseara knew the other girl was adventurous but that had been a dangerous thing to do. “How did you know he wouldn’t kill you?” Aseara had been to the marketplace a day after the incident and had seen raiment’s of what had happened. “I still can’t believe it!”

This was the reaction she was looking for! "He wasn't wrong Aseara! You know that the nobles are crazy. Most of the people in the market told me that he didn't do anything wrong really, and then the noble attacked and he was forced to defend himself."
She shrugged. "He didn't seem like he really wanted to hurt anyone, and in the shape he was in he couldn't even walk himself. I was in no real danger from him. Really I wanted him to teach me some. His display of magic was just incredible."
