2 pages previous, on this very thread, I gave you the link, which I was summarily told the intro was too long, and no 'simple' details for char development for other players, if indeed it is a roleplaying set.
Which it is. But as I said...this place doesn't seem to be ready for it yet, as all the stuff that was asked for is in the posts if they are read.
Leads me to my own observations. But suffice to say, you folks can do with it what you want. neutral

OH! Ok, well, I have to keep track of so much at the guild, I didn't recognize your name.
You can't have all substance and no form. I'm not saying that the roleplay wouldn't be great, but the problem as it stands now would be getting any one to join. I organized all my stuff for Feretris and I still get people complaining that it is too long to read. xd Then half the time, when people submit a profile to me, it sure LOOKs like they didn't read it-- and thats with an organized advanced RP. Of course you will always get lazy people, but you have to strike a balance between fitting in all the important things that you want to say and making things easy to read and find for people who want to join your RP. It makes it easier for every one because then, when people do join, you do not have to repeat yourself as much and you can refer people back to certain posts in your thread. I'm more concerned about you getting people for your RP than where I will be moving your RP when it's all said and done. I could label it advanced and it might not matter if no one will join because they can't find any thing in your thread.
One thing that you can do if your intro is really long is to summarize the most important details from your intro in a post before the intro. That way, you still expect people to read it all but if they need to go back later to find something, they should be able to find it in the summary. Putting it before the intro also gives people an opportunity to read something shorter before they decide that they are interested and take the plunge into reading the rest; otherwise, you'll have lots of good RPers who don't read it because they can't figure out what it's about in the first few minutes.
The summary can be any thing from a couple of paragraphs to a bullet list or two of important facts. Don't be afraid to take a gander at the advanced Rps in this forum and how they have laid things out. If you're willing to add some form to your substance, then PM me with the link when you are done.
One of biggest embarrassments I've ever felt, aside from completely messing up a story's plot once.. But that was once!.. emo
