Far beyond the hands of time there existed a great Sage. Who, upon his birth, was said to be able to cast the most amazing spells. He lived in an age were men and magic could co-exist and harness one another. However, within this time a great beast lived. It had great leathery wings that could glide through skies with ease, and wipe away anything it saw. It had great teeth with which it could devour the most armored creature, and a tongue like a whip that could rip out the heart of a man from one hundred pace.
And its eyes
... Its eyes were able to glimpse into the future. The beast would sometimes come down from the great silver cliffs from high above to terrorize towns, and to gorge itself on any living thing that it could find.

The beast had come to terrorize one of the many villages that littered the land, and had picked the one were the great sage had taken refuge for the night. They stood facing each other, and the sage held his hands high. The beast, acting first, lashed out with its tongue, the sage moving quickly, but not quickly enough. The beast struck him in the eye and ripped it from the socket. The sage, angered by this, attacked quickly, hitting the dragon in the face. Latching onto its face, he reached down and with his own hands pulled the beasts eye from its socket. It screamed, shaking the sage off and flew once more back to the great silver cliff. With his newly claimed prize, the great sage put the beasts eye into were once his own rested. With the power of the great beasts eye, he was able to momentarily see into the future.

Upon the final day of the great sages life of this world, before using the last of his power to seal himself within his own reality, he left the following elegy to mankind, in a hope that they might be able to free themselves from fate.

Tens of thousand years have passed since then, the final words of the great sage lost to all but in fairy tales. The world has evolved to a modern land were magic doesn't exist, and mankind rely completely on electricity. Beasts such as dragons, and many other mythical things have either disappeared from the world or been locked away. However, the power has just gone out, chaos has started to take grip. All communication has ceased as all main power has gone, only batteries or other means of energy still work. But for how long? As some once said .:: Lands plunged unto deeps darkness::. .:: And the heart, soul and power starts to die::.

If they are seen as too powerfull I will ask you to either change it to be kind or leave .:2:. no cybering .:3:. no chatspeak .:5:..:A:. be at least semi-lit, I understand if you have a disability, or such like, that doesn't allow you to type very well, but try your best. .:B:. semi-lit also means that you use third person writing, as though this were a book. .:C:. it also means no ** or short forms or whatever when you use this rp! .:6:. no godmoding! .:7:. use (()), [[]], or something like that for Out Of Character speech .:8:. remember your only human (well, to a degree) if put in the right situation, you will die. Don't be stupid and be immortal, stare that would just be stupid, however if you do die you may come back as someone else. .:9:. if you read the rules and agree with then put the missing rule number in your profile .:10:. if I see the need to add rules I will say so, and put an wahmbulance .:11:. please make up a new RP character for this RP, or one that is flexable and you don't mind if they die. It's just that if you use one you like and use a lot you probably don't want them to die. Also, in the beginning, there will be no magic, weapons or anything to fight with. You will have to get them using your own means..:12:.You must wait for me to approve your rping character. If I am not online, sorry, but you have to wait until someone from the white list or I approve it!
