We are going to start a thread in BT about how to make maps. I should be able to write about what the "customers" need when they order or ask for a map, and what the RPers need if it is for an RP. But the maps I make myself are kinda... lazy... so I would like other people to help me with this guide. ESPECIALLY ROKA. heart

Here is an example of a very basic, minorly functional map:

This is a Map I made in Paintshop pro this map has 2 layers I had completed 3 )other version has population distribution .
This map has the outline of the separate continents, and the geographical figures.

You can vary sizes aviously of your map or the area mapped.
If anyone has questions on how i made this map you can PM me.

I will use your map as an example of a blend between a physical and climate map-- if that is what you are giving me permission to do. I would also like replies that help me write the guide, too. 3nodding

I donno would i still be able to use the map as a Original for the competion..well the original version tho i mean hah...

You're supposed to make three maps for the competition and not use maps that you have made before. 3nodding

me neither. I've used GIMP for some things but not much.

Most of my maps, I've created by hand. The last one that I was working on was in water color, but most have been just sketches.
