 Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. Boddy, Mr. Boddy is my name. Of tonight's events, I am the planner; this fun and folly known as a game. The premise of the game is simple. Kill me, with one weapon in one room. You won't rest easily, until I rest permanently. Ah, the immeasurable joy of my doom!Here, inside the box,

Rules of the Game 1. Follow Gaia and guild rules and ToS. 2. Be literate. All postings must be written in standard story format. If you have a typo in your text, please edit and fix it. 3. Due to the nature of the roleplay, only 8 people may participate at a time. HOWEVER, since the game must end sooner or later, you can always wait until the game is done and then join. 4. The killer, the room, and the weapon will be chosen at the end of the game by me, based on luck of the die ( I will make a post rolling two 6-sided dice and one 8-sided die. The first die will represent the killer, the second the room, and the third the weapon. This is what the numbers mean: Die One (Killer): 1. Mrs. White 2. Mrs. Peacock 3. Professor Plum 4. Colonel Mustard 5. Miss Scarlet 6. Mr. Green Die Two (Room): 1. Lounge 2. Conservatory 3. Ballroom 4. Hall 5. Kitchen 6. Study 7. Billiard Room 8. Dining Room Die Three (Weapon): 1. Wrench 2. Candlestick 3. Pipe 4. Knife 5. Revolver 6. Rope DO NOT ARGUE ABOUT THE OUTCOME OF THE DICE.5. It's first come, first serve. DO NOT ARGUE ABOUT WHO GETS WHAT ROLE. You will all get to play a role one time. The game will not begin until at least 3 suspect roles are filled. 6. All OOC should be marked as such. 7. HAVE FUN, DUH.

Profiles Mr. Boddy, occupied by [A.S]Artificial Stupidity: [A.S]Artificial Stupidity Gaia Username: [A.S]Artificial Stupidity Chosen Character: Mr. Boddy Age of Character: 43 Description: A stout, rotund man of his age, Mr. Boddy is often seen wearing semi-formal or formal attire of a dark color. Two small beady brown eyes set wide apart on his face are accompanied with a high wrinkle-furrowed forehead and a receding hairline. Biography/Background Story: Hardly ever living a clean life, Mr. Edward Boddy spent most of his life pursuing sins of the flesh. His father, Fleet Admiral Boddy, left the only son a fortune which Boddy spent no time whittling away on failed business escapades and vices of his own personal nature. Angering many a stranger and partner in his younger days, the pudgy, middle-aged man can see his ending days approaching steadily with the newfound information that he is dying of liver cancer. Knowing he is about to die anyways, Boddy decides to play one last game; one of deceit, murder, and the test of the modern human soul. Having attracted no one long enough to bear his children over the passing decades, Boddy is without heir. To remedy this, he calls together an assembly of people who he has been closest to the most, and those who he has also incurred the most anger out of. Boddy hasn't left his manor in months, but he will soon leave this Earth forever. Her pen and notepad never leave her side, even under extreme conditions. Detective Thorp's dark hair is pulled back in a tight bun, her staunch white face plain and clean, her light eyes keen on finding the truth. Biography/Background Story: When her dream of becoming a journalist failed when she couldn't keep her fluctuating temper in check, Thorp set her sights on a career that was a little less conventional; detective. Free-lance, free-spirited, and just a little unstable. After the estranged Mr. Boddy, famed in her small town as being a rich sleaze who'd screw you over for a dollar, is murdered in his house while six colorful suspects, Detective Thorp comes to sniff out the truth as to who-dun-it, even if it means using more...untraditional methods. Motive to Kill: N/A Side notes: Those who occupy Mr. Boddy must also play Detective, unless two people would be willing to split the two roles up. I.E. One person plays Mr. Boddy until the murder, and then the other person plays Detective after the murder, or one person may play both.

+Wednesday, August 15, 2007 at 10:05 PM: The characters of Mr. Boddy and the Detective will be filled by the same person, due to the fact that Mr. Boddy is killed and does not appear afterwards, and the detective only appears after Mr. Boddy is killed. I will be putting a description for the detective in the morning.
