As mentioned in the title, I would like to find out how many people have read Iain M. Banks' sci-fi books.

I would quite like to start up an RP involving the group of AI, Minds, and their creation, which will mean it will be a Culture RP, although if you want to play a different race, ask.

However, I would also like to know if there has ever been a time period mentioned when the Minds were first made by the Culture.

Anyway, I think that the RP will need at least 4 or 5 people to keep it entertaining. All interested people post in this thread!
If it turns out enough people are interested, then I'll make a post involving the setting, so you can decide whether you want to parcipitate or not. I will then create a sign up thread for the RP, if it goes ahead.
