Waving goodbye to her sensei, Grace stepped into the room where she could see two other people already started on their virtual adventure. She listened to the instructions given, nodding in the appropriate places and was led up to the tube. Closing her eyes, there was a bright flash and she was suddenly standing up.

Blinking, Grace put a hand over her eyes to survey the surrounding landscape, her nunchuku were looped over the cord the encircled her waist, one on her right side and one on her left. She spotted her target, a bumbling green creature covered in warts. It had a sword, but that didn’t bother her as she knew how to defend herself.

Crying out so she wouldn’t be attacking it from behind, for that was dishonorable, Grace whipped out both nunchuku, catching them overhead to block the creatures first attack. In one swift moment she sent the creature’s weapon flying and struck a hard blow to it’s head, breaking it’s neck. It fell to the ground with a thud, dead. After returning the nunchuku to their place at her sides, Grace moved over to where the creature’s sword had fallen and picked it up, examining it. It was poorly made of cheap metal, not useful at all for fighting, but she could probably fetch a good enough price off it to pay for supper and maybe a room at the next town.

She continued on, sword in hand, wondering who or what else she would encounter next.

Grace came to a bustling village that was bordering on becoming a small town, she ignored all the quaint little shops however, heading strait for a large building called 'Dragon's Keep' She laughed slightly at the name but marked in her mind where it was. Not that it would be that easy to ignore it with a sign like that hanging above it's doorway.

Moving on to the opposite side of town, Grace found what she was looking for, a small shop containing all sorts of odds and ends. Including swords of a much shabbier quality than the one she was holding. She walked in, a small bell tinkling overhead announced her arrival. A scurrying came from the back of the shop and then the shop's owner, a disheveled man looking to be in his thirties, though it was hard to tell with thee beard and mustache, came out from behind a door that she presumed lead to the storage room and possibly stairs leading up to his home on the floor above.

"What ken I help you with missie?" The man asked as Grace approached the counter. Grace laid the sword down on the counter, staring the man strait in the eyes. “You can give me a good price for this nasty sword sir.” She said sweetly, batting her lashes at him. Grace wasn’t above flattery when it suited her goals.

“Well then, let me see what I ken do for you.” The man reached to pick up the sword but Grace didn’t move her hand, holding it firmly on the counter. “You don’t need to look at it with your hands, sir.” She said in the same sweet voice. The man seemed slightly disconcerted and babbled out a price that Grace found acceptable, though it was much more than the sword was worth.

“I’m glad to have done business with you, sir.” She said blowing him a kiss as she left the shop. Twenty gold pieces for a useless sword! Who would have thought she was such a good bargainer. ’Of course the fact that I’m a girl probably helped’ she thought, chuckling to herself as she headed back toward ‘Dragon’s Keep’. She hoped her presumption that it was an inn held true.

"Man, I'm starving. It's lame to be hungry in a friggin virtual world! Still, there must be something worth taking around here. I should look around for the other suckers who one that prize."Ruckis decided.

She inhaled some of the air, and then knelt down to the rocky earth. Putting her hand on the earth, she said, "I hope this virtual world has no holy ground. Ahem, Necromancy spell Number one, GHOST HERDING!"

With that, she stood up and waited. Slowly a skeleton rose from the dirt. He scratched his head and looked towards Ruckis for some sort of answer.

"Um, hi there, you must one of the dead people in the virtualworld. LIsten, just tell me where the closest village is."

The skeleton shook his head, and pointed the way.

"Thank you, but please work on your people skills sir!" she huffed while walking away. "That's curious, when I use necromancy on dead souls, most dead guys can't wait to chat about the future. That skeleton was hardly any help..."

real world appearance: User Image
virtual world appearance: User Image
personality: A quite individual who usually stays away from direct conflicts. He stays quite around everyone he doesnt know and insults alot of people for stupid reasons, like being incompitant or just making a combat error. He can tend to be very stubborn when need be. Also, he only opens his kind heart to certain people.

He normally venture into caves or dungeons in search of rare treasures or weapons. He then takes these weapons to the nearest store and sells them for profit or for another spell book. He carries a vast variety of spell books in a green bag that he carries with one hand. Little is know of his intentions, but I dont think anyone cares.

Tazuya was walking around the lab waiting for someone to direct him to where the virtual game was, apparentally it was a rule to be escorted. As he began to lose patience with waiting a scientist entered and called on him.

"Tazuya Horumesu, please come with me." said the scientist in an official manner.

"Yeah, yeah." Tazuya muttered as he followed the scientist to the room for the virtual game and found three people using the machines. "Guess I'm sharing the experience. Figures." he muttered again. As he entered a tube a went to sleep as it closed.

After walking a few miles, Ruckis finally found a village. "hmmmmm, prehaps I can find some sucker here."
PostPosted: Thu Aug 16, 2007 11:25 am

He awoke to find himself standing in the middle of a small village. Loooking around he looked disappointed at the fact that he had to start here. "So, I begin my conquest here of all places? Great." he said with much distain in his voice. He began walking through the village looking for a shop of some kind to do business with. If it's one thing Tazuya liked, it was trading for better goods, mostly potions. As he continued to walk he he stumbled across a building with a sign reading "Armored Stallion". He walked inside to find it completely empty except for the shopkeeper and himself, ofcourse.

"Hi there, sir. How can I help you?" he said with smug look on his face.

Tazuya was browsing though different weapons, armor, and potion until he stumbled across a red spell book with markings on it that resembled the roman numeral of one.

"How much for the red spell book?" he finally asked the shopkeeper.

"That thing there?" he replied in a suprising state. "That's just a little old 10 gold pieces worth."

"Fine." he grabs the book and puts it in his bag and tosses 10 gold pieces to the shopkeeper. "Thanks. A pleasure doing business with you." he swings the bag over his shoulder and begins to walk out.

The shopkeeper catches the gold coin and smiles. "The pleasure is all mine." He then looks at Tazuya with curiousity. "Hey, kid."

Tazuya turns to him in annoyance. "What?" getting annoyed with him he was beginning to lose patience.

"Have you ever heard of a ghost armor?" he said ina way that made it seem like such a threat and present mysterious presence.

Grace entered ‘Dragon’s Keep’ and gave the place an appraising look. It was just the right blend of shabbiness for her, not too high end, and not too dank and unliveable. Sidling up to the bar she leaned against the counter. “How much for a room?” She asked, her body language all business. This was not a place for silly antiques of flattery. Such things could get you into trouble.

“Ten gold per night.” Came the gruff reply. Grace appraised the speaker carefully. He was middle aged, and plump. Meaning he was just asking for a bit of haggling. “Five gold says I get a room and food for the week and a job to pay off any extra bills my staying here might rack up.” She said, eyeing him. The man frowned at her. “Five gold, now, says you get a room plus a meal and pack up in the morning.” He tossed a key at her and shoved his thumb towards the stairs. “Hmph, you must drive people to drink with that attitude, but I like the establishment.” She paused thoughtfully. “Done.” Grace took out the five gold coins and passed them over with just the right amount of hesitation. You never let people know how much money you’ve got or you’re asking for trouble.

Having paid for a room and meal, Grace headed up the stairs to see exactly what she was getting for her money. It wasn’t bad, not at all. Grace had acquired a single bunk in her own room at the back of the building with a scenic view of outlying country. That was good enough for her. She sat on the bed, it would suffice for one night. A bit lumpy but not unbearable. Slipping the key into one of the bags around her waist, Grace went back downstairs and out into the village to look around.
