Marati returned to the statue room, the room of the Goddesses, with the five fragments caught in her grasp. Like Ryjer she wondered what these were needed for, if they were incredibly important, and what use they would have. After all, they had held nothing but fragmented words, ones that made no sense to her. Perhaps, she thought, they would make sense to her Goddess.

So she knelt at the statue of her Blessed One, placing the crystals with an obvious care, and remained there as the warmth spread through her. A strange feeling filled her then; the feeling of understanding something, however small. The feeling of being a little less empty than she had been before.

As unusual as the fragments were, she was now very glad she had found them.

The little purse filled with the gems was what Maiden used, scattering them at the feet of the goddesses. and the feeling of euphoria cascaded over the shadow, the mirage that knew what he was, and what he was set here to try and accomplish. "So will it be, I understand."

Yacha set her shards reverently down at the Goddess's feet. "I've been good," she said. "I brought them."

A sense of warmth trailed over her shoulders and down her back; where it passed, she felt better, more whole, more solid. That was right. She'd done well. She should go and stay with her friends. "Thank you," she said to the goddess, and turned to return to the red-lit shards of the Spire.

Plaie hurried to back shrine. If exact time passed out they might be die...she worried about this possibility. Crystals would be dead when their dim light is over, mayyyvee. The core light was so fragile like her. Everything here was so uncertain and vague. Everything inflamed her anxiety. She don't want to do again same thing this simple task to something like herself.

It had not taken her overly long to gather the fragments. On top of that, she found that each one made her feel strange, as she retrieved it: a whisper of something that escaped her, snippets of phantom voices. She could not place them, nor really remember what they said. She did, however, know that she wanted the blessing of the Goddess, and she had been promised it should she bring what they asked for.

When she'd first realized she was separate from the fog, cast out and alone, she had felt as though she was splintered and unwell. Now, retrieving the fragments and allowing the blessing to contribute to her wholeness, she felt like there was hope.

Hope.

That word, like a sudden treasure, meant something to her in a simple sense. A definition that she knew, without knowing how she knew. But she didn't really understand its implications, nor why she'd use it now.

She bowed to accept the blessing of the Goddess.

Ryjer meekly made his way into the shrine. Doubt clawed at his stomach, but the Goddess would look after him. The Goddess knew best, right? That's why they were here, why they existed... right?

Reap wasn't sure what he'd learned from the strange fragments short of that they upset him and made him uncomfortable - for the most part - some of them had been relatively pleasant. Still, he felt more sure of himself. It was undefinable and impossible to pin down, but he felt that the more he got a handle on these erratic and fractured pieces, the more he would gain a handle on who he was - or had been.

It was direction and it was a sureness that gave him strength to go on. The blessing simply encouraged him he was going in the right direction after all.

Repoem slowed his steps, nearly tripping over himself as he slowed from run to walk to a delicate tip-toe. He held the five fragments in his hands uncertainly.

It wasn't until the Goddess stood before him did he shrink back, cowering as he shoved the fragments towards her. He could hear her laugh as she pressed her taloned hand against him.

Something pulsed through him, sending him sprawling against the floor. When he managed to pull himself to his feet he realized he could see himself more clearly, and that he was alone.

She had seen the pillars when before finding the world that seemed lost to decay, but hadn't seemed to notice them as well as maybe she should have. But now her eyes, if one could call them that, were looking at them with interest as she walked her way closer to one in particular and placed down her offering.

There they sat and there she stood, unsure of what to expect and if they would be deemed worthy for the Goddess as offering but she got her answer as she felt a rush and warmth within her core. Filling her with purpose and almost as if making her so close to whole. She felt... solid as the wave left her, featured.

Suddenly, she was vaguely aware of a weight upon her forehead. "Aa.." She gasped out. "Thank you..." if even such words were needed. But she had so much more now.

"A shape, a form."

He had gone off to find something that could do that, and had only found fragments. They seemed to be connected, if the words that they hinted at had something to do with it, and he returned carrying them.

They didn't look like much, but each had spoken to him, and he offered them up willingly. They were accepted, and he could feel more solid. It was an interesting feeling though it left him with a odd reminder of something. He just didn't know what.

He touched the statue gently with his fingertips. "Thank you."

Naian reverently entered the Shrine, laying out her five fragments. "I want to be more as I am. Tell me what I should be," she whispered, bowing her head.

The offering was accepted. She gasped and hugged herself at the strange feelings that washed over her. Some of her grey darkened; her edges got sharper. Like the statues. Like everything else she'd seen, everything that wasn't a person. She was... what was she?

Stunned, she curtseyed, only after realizing how odd the movement she'd performed was. Then she left the Shrine again, shaken.

Excitedly the girl returned to the three statues of the goddesses and dropped to her knees before paranoia, where she eagerly offered up the five fragments she'd collected on her behalf.

As she stood she felt fuller, more real. The shadows that arched over her shoulders were unmistakably wings, and a thin, wispy tipped tail curled loosely around feet that were now hooves. Upon her head, two curving horns climbed skyward. The Yellow core of her heart flared brightly as she gave a happy trill and made her way back down to the Ruins.

Naiad entered the shrine with her shards and offered the small glowing crystalline shards to the goddess. As they are offered she feels as if she is more solid or complete and feels as if she understands a bit better those around her and the meaning of getting closer to them. However, it also remind her of something and she cannot quite figure out what. While it bothers her, she puts it off for the feeling of being more complete.

Acerola walked up to where she last felt the presence of what must have been a Goddess. She held out her hand with the fragments. She glanced around, as if to see what was going to happen. As soon as she turned back to look at her hand, the fragments were gone.

Suddenly, the core seemed to glow brighter. She felt a sense of fullness, but at the same time, she felt scared, and she wasn't sure why. It was almost as if she was afraid of her humanoid shape become more solid had been the cause of her fear. But she knew it wasn't that. So why did she get this sensation?

Thean approached the shrine of her goddess. All that she had, should praise her in some way. Though she loved her little lights she had to give them up. She placed them on the altar willingly. She steps back and bowed before her yellow goddess. She was filled with a sense of belonging and clarity as her offering was accepted. She felt transformed. But into what?

She floated back into the city, her thoughts churning.
