Naiad left the subway and was walking along when she spotted it. A glowing light partially hidden by the stones on the ground. Leaning over she tried to pick it up, pushing the other stones away to get at the object. A thought, a few words, drift through her mind as she manages to pick the crystalline object up. With a warm feeling she continues, ignoring the odd thoughts that had come through her mind moments before.

Amati had been on her way out of the junkyard and back towards the room with the statues when she suddenly found herself sprawled on the ground, her limbs tangled with someone else's. That was...unexpected. She blinked up at the other figure as they offered her a hand up, which she took gratefully. "I think I'm okay," she started to say, brushing herself off. Anything else would have fallen on deaf ears, as the other ran off before she could continue. Well, okay then. At least it hadn't been another monster.

She walked through the ruins with her one fragment when she soon spotted another. Leaning towards the crack in the wall where it had ensconced itself she tries to wiggle it lose. At first it refuses to budge, but soon it pops loose and into her hand.

As soon as Thean had grabbed one, she saw another light in her periphery. Maybe it was another piece of what she already had! She ran after reaching for it.
Dang! The fragment continued to drift forward. Thean began to ******** and weave through some large pieces of debris and wires. She ran up a sidewalk and had te little light in her reach. She reached and grabbed.
But missed once again.

Walking along she hugs her two crystalline shards to her, only to spot another lovely glow nearby. Stepping from the pathway she goes to the shard stuck in the ruins of what she thinks was one a house of some type. Reaching in she yanks the shard free and continues back to the more even path behind her with her new treasure.

The light waltzed away once more out of her reach. She jumped after it, down another street and sidewalk. She couldn't believe that light was so hard to catch. She jumped up another time and caught it! Score!

Naiad spots another and looking down at her three she decides she wants it as well. Walking over to the shard she takes her free hand and tries her best to pull it loose from the rubble surrounding it. However, it seems to remain fast and fully stuck, as her efforts only seem to wedge it deeper under the rubble.

Thean slows down now, she is tired of running after the little lights she holds in her hands. She spots another glow just to the side of we and calmly walks toward the light.

Acerola reached for another nearby fragment, now fully intrigued. What would happen if she touched this one? Were these mysterious glowing crystals speaking to her? Maybe not.
This fragment put up a bit of a struggle, but she managed to touch this one as well.
"This one will fetch quite a price..."
Price? What does that mean? Is someone selling something? Acerola began thinking that they fragments weren't in fact talking to her. What were they then? She ignored it.

Refusing to give up she kneels before the shard peeking out of the rubble and gives it another yank. When it doesn't seem to work she pushes away some of the stones around the shard and tries again. This time managing to pull the crystalline piece from the stones that had buried it.

The light proceeds to go under a bridge and into a corner where it is hard to reach. Thean climbs up after it to see if she can get it. The rubble scrapes her but she pays no mind.
