He was in new location. Grey and blue crumbling shrine. Everything is quiet. She tried to see edge of the land or something else. She could only found water fall, eaten by grey fog again.
And then she noticed that there's small shiny crumbs on the ground. They were looked intriguing. "Maybe that is what should I do."

The little shadow was not sure what that meant. No more than he was sure of anything, really. But wandering back through the mist and the waterfalls, a bright thing caught his attention. There! Was that it? A thing to give him a shape?
The little wisp dashed after it, and pounced on the little light.
"... freckles too..."
It was like an echo in the mist, and the little shadow paid it little heed. Instead he darted off after the next little fragment. He would gather a whole bunch for the goddess!

From a room of empty pedestals and statues, to a shrine with whispered words and a task, to a temple on the edge of the world. Thiamas was confused by it all, and even more confused by how he recognized these things only as he encountered them for what he thought was the first time. A small, shadowy figure whose core glowed a fierce blue yet whose movements were still quite awkward to behold.
A shape. He needed to become more like himself, whatever that meant. He had something to seek, so maybe this was it.
The floating crystals caught his attention more then anything else, and he found himself following them around, stiff and clumsy at first but with gathering swiftness.
When one was near enough for him to make a grab for it, he pounced, jumping towards it and grabbing it from the air with ease.
Too small....maybe one day....
A warm feeling that surprised Thiamas, he stumbled when he landed, and reeled to the side, falling into another who was nearby with a startled cry from vocal cords that had saw no use until now.

The little shadow ran after the little fragment, emerging on the other side of the creek and darting around the side of a large, crumbling wall. Only to feel something tumble into him and send him sprawling.
The fragment slipped away, and the small shadow turned to regard his assailant with wide eyes. He wasn't sure what to do. The goddess hadn't said anything about this... was he supposed to catch that too?
It was awfully big, maybe he should stick with the little glowing ones.

The next crystal was easy to catch. She finally got five of them. They were quiet and quiet pretty. The silent crystals were very fascinating to look.
