Class Instructions:
Today, we're going to focus on choreography. Namely, you'll be in charge! I would like you to choreograph as many pieces as you can this month. It could be solo pieces or group, as long as you perform them. Oh, and another thing, please have the dances have some inspiration from your life!
Roll one 10-sided dice. That's how many dances you were able to choreograph in the month's time. Please describe your dances and inspirations in 100 words or more.
If you want to clarify different aspects of the dance in a written form as a reflection piece, you may as well.

Abrus smiled to himself. 6 dances. Thats how many wonderful things he had brought, planned, and executed for the world to admire. His first started out simple, but then ramped up with the music until it was fast, intense, and you could see it was difficult to keep up with. When it felt like the dancer was going simply too fast to continue, the music froze, and the dance ended his performance in an elegant bow. Abrus put a waltz or two in his performance, for all those who preferred the classical dances. On his 5th dance tho, Abrus managed to find an electric swing song that really made the watcher want to get up and dance as well. His moves and pacing fit perfectly with the music, seeming to draw the audience onto the dance floor to join.

Class Instructions:
Your character will be performing a short dance routine to show in front of the rest of the class! This is simply to work on the basic building blocks of creating a routine, while gaining some constructive critique! { as well as maybe help those who have stage fright get used to performing in front of a crowd }
Find a song that your character is going to dance to.
Roll a 100 sided die to determine how well the performance went. Higher the number, the better!
Write a small response on how your character did, at least describing their performance and style of dance

Character Name: Abrus
Song:vHÆLOS - "Oracle"
Entry: Abrus turned on the music, and he was in the zone. The nightmare loved this song. Elegant, yet still had a modern beat to move to. The nightmare sang under his breath along with the words, as he stretched, spun, and moved to the beat. In the slower parts of the song he focused on his body, keeping his hoofs still as his body slowly rolled to the music. When the music kicked it up he made use of his hoofs, essentially tap dancing. Abrus finally stopped, one ear flicking as a drop of sweat rolled down. Breathing hard, the nightmare bowed, obviously pleased with his work.

Class Instructions:
Discuss how music can effect the mood of a situation. You may use general songs you might hear on the radio, or movie soundtracks to convey your point.

Abrus tittered and set his pencil to the paper. Music didn't just affect the mood, it was the mood. It was the beat to witch all life ran by. In a silent environment there could be no such mood at all! Hence why sentient creatures had minds that were always full of tunes, songs, and background music to live their lives by. It was one of the- no, the most important thing in life! Abrus could hear his own background music, and smirked. It was classical. He was a refined kirin, of course he would have classical as his character song.

Entry: Ah yes, Drum and Bass, one of the fine modern styles of music. The forfront of all modern musics, drum and bass paved the way for other types, including breakcore, ragga jungle, hardstep, darkstep, techstep, neurofunk, ambient drum and bass, liquid funk, deep, drumfunk, funkstep, sambass, dnbnoise, and drill 'n' bass. The style has established itself around the world. Drum and bass has influenced many other genres like hip hop, big beat, dubstep, house, trip hop, ambient music, techno, rock and pop. Drum and bass could at one time be defined as a strictly electronic musical genre with the only "live" element being the DJ's selection and mixing of records during a set, but has since evolved far above this simple definition.
