BASICS

Occupation: Admin Assistant for the government [ Day ] / Contract Killer [ Hitman ] [ Night ]
APPEARANCE
Mercy is 5'6 and shaped like this with about a high B-cup in terms of a bust. The skin tone that is being used in the picture is true to Mercy's skin tone as well. Her hair is naturally curly with golden highlights, to which she wears au natural as much as possible. The face of the woman in the second picture is also Mercy's face claim. She also has one tattoo that runs along her left side [ it glows under black light too...Nifty when you're in the clubs yo~ ] she is also a HUGE Borderlands fan. Her favorite character [if you haven't guessed from the tattoo] is Maya. May or May not be a Krieg/Maya shipper cause who wouldnt want to be the conductor of the pooptrain?
Clothing style is a mixture of urban and whatever she feels like wearing for the day. Leggings are usually a part of her attire because of sheer laziness most of the time.
PERSONALITY
Social No need to be shy! Mercy loves people! She’ll chat with even some of the quietest people on her block, often holding conversations with herself, but that’s beside the point. Being social comes with its advantages and disadvantages, like how she was able to do many speeches in high school without sweating a single bullet, or how she talked so much, she got into a fist fight with the person she was friends with at the time. She won of course since you know; she is the QUEEN of pulling out a b***h’s trax.
Spicy AKA Hot Tempered With great temper comes a greater reaction? Needless to say, once Mercy has been set off, run for the hills. Her temper is just as quick as her tongue, which has led to many fights in her EARLY teen years. This temper of hers does cause her to go in fist first, rationalizing last, in which she’d rather setting everything with her fists and/or sharp tongue before seriously thinking about the situation at hand like a true adult. Does she feel remorse after? Depends on the situation; if you deserved it, then she’d rather add some pepper spray before apologizing. If it was a misunderstanding, she’ll happily apologize while offering to buy you ice-cream or lunch. This does drive most people away because c’mon, NO ONE wants to deal with a loose cannon.
Organized When it comes to making sure everything is in order, Mercy makes sure to go above and beyond the norm. The more organized things are, the better off she’ll feel. She’s not OCD per se, but being able to find your underwear in the same spot you left it is a nice perk. Mercy also brings her organization to her dorm where she makes sure her bed is nice and neat as well as her shoes are all lined up for easier finding.
Vindictive Once Mercy is pissed, she tends to want to hurt in order to pay you back tenfold for setting her off in the first place, a trait she picked up from her mom. Whenever you harm people she cares about emotionally, physically, or otherwise, Mercy’s coming to get you and she’s going to let you know so you can be scared shitless. Once again, her temper prevents her from acting rationally so when she does get revenge, it’s rather painful and swift and totally without reason.
Giving Mercy may have been an only child, but she learned at an early age that sharing was caring, and giving was ten steps better. You’ll find Mercy often giving part of her sub to one of the homeless or covering someone whenever she went out to eat and they couldn’t cover part of the bill. Sometimes people do take advantage of Mercy’s giving nature to which they will receive a fist to the face and a string of curse words in Spanish. She does NOT take well to being taken advantage of.
Stupidly Brave AKA Brash Mercy likes to go gung-ho into battle so to speak. When the moment calls she answers without question, often never thinking about the consequences of her actions or for her safety on that matter. [ Terrible killer is terrible ]
Confident Mercy is a woman that just radiates confidence. It’s her armor, her saving grace, as well as her best friend. When Mercy was younger, her mother tried everything in her power to break her down, make her feel like she was nothing. It was her father that told her no matter what her mother says, she needed to walk with her head held high and confidence in her step. She wasn’t fat, she was voluptuous. Her face wasn’t ugly or spotty; in fact, she was the best mix of both parents from her caramel skin to her wild yet tame-able hair. It was because of her father that Mercy is the woman she is today. Sometimes, her confidence can be a bit intimidating to someone who lacks this trait because she can come off as arrogant, or vain.
Lack of Tact AKA INSENSITIVE Do these pants make your a** look flabby? The proper answer would be no, no they don't! You look fine. But for Mercy, the answer is yes, yes they do brah...You should probably grab a different size. Mercy is brutally honest to the point of being downright insulting, which is why this is a more negative than a neutral trait.
Mercy was chosen by Ares's because of her chosen profession, and curiosity over how she could be a contract killer with such spicy temper and personality. It wasn't a job for the faint of heart, and yet she managed to perform it well. That didn't mean she was perfect at it though since every contract causes her to have a conflict of opinion. She can also knock a grown man straight on his a** while wearing heels...
"I wonder how many people would think of this job as something from Assassin's creed...Not even Zer0 is a close enough comparison to what I do. Although, having the ability to turn invisible would be nice..." Talking to herself while she set up her perch had become something common for Mercy to do since she didn’t have anyone else to talk to, given what her actual profession was. Her mother would freak if she told the shrill woman what her actual job was and how she was able to pay for that awesome Kawasaki she just bought.
"Mkay...Now we wait."
Tonight's contract was the first major contract she's ever had. A high-ranking politician from Russia was taking a vacation in the Bahamas with her family today. She didn’t know what the woman had done in order for her Government to send someone to warrant her death, but she felt sorry for the poor woman. Mercy had a couple of hours to herself while she waited so she simply pulled out her phone to text her father while keeping an eye out. She was a good couple of buildings away from the hotel her target was staying at, but it wasn’t anything she couldn't make.
Her father was a funny man since he was just now learning how to text properly with emotes and everything. Hopefully, her stepmom can help him out with the trickier bits while she was away on a "company vacation". Even with the small handful of completed contracts she has under her belt, killing someone in cold blood without a reason other than "here is your target, take them out" was still a bit hard for her to stomach and sometimes made her wonder if she could pull this off for the majority of her life.
But, looking back at her previous contracts, the deadly calm she possessed with every shot from her sniper rifle, and the lack of remorse she felt told her that yes...She could pull this off for the rest of her life. The alarm she set on her cellphone vibrated and she moved to position herself so that she was looking directly through the window her target should be walking through at any moment.
Mercedes...
Huh? The hell? Mercy shook her head and took a deep breath to focus. Her target was settling in front of the window with a glass of wine in her hand. She was smiling about something, and it made Mercy wonder for a brief second...If she knew she was going to die today. She took a deep intake of breath closing her eyes and opening them slowly. The woman was still sitting by the window...Except her piercing blue eyes were staring right at her, still smiling before her lips parted.
Do not be afraid, and no, you are not crazy. I am Ares, god of war and I have Chosen you.
Mercy couldn’t even blink, let alone think of a response. Clearly, she must’ve been drugged somehow and she was just now experiencing the effects. Her target simply giggled and shook her head, swirling her wine glass before taking another sip: I have told you that you are not crazy Mercedes. I have chosen you to become something more than what you are, to bring out your full potential as one of my warriors. If you accept my blessing, someone will come by within the next week to recruit you.
Wait what? Recruit? Like some sort of army? That sounded weird. Man, this drug is something amazing if she managed to hallucinate the Greek god of war AND have him reason with her that she was chosen and needed for some mythical army or what have you. Her target rolled her eyes and shook her head before continuing: You will say yes because it will mean magic in your life...and a purpose.
Mercy blinked and shook her head, the target appearing as she did before.
Glad that her little "trip" was over, she took another deep breath to focus before she pulled the trigger. She hit her mark, the woman slumped against the window, with a peaceful look on her face as the glass fell to the soft carpeting below. She didn’t have to worry about the bullet being traced back to her, the gun she was using has no serial number, and she made sure to rotate rifles as often as she could. Then there was the fact that she did work for the government. As she packed her things and prepared to leave within the next couple of hours, Mercy frowned and looked up at the ceiling.
"If you can hear me...I accept your blessing Ares. I just hope you’re real and I don’t need to admit myself to the crazy farm."
A deep chuckle was the only thing she heard as she left the hotel room.
Its a good thing Kratos doesnt exist...

Ohana means family...
Katrina Naomi Santiago - Mercedes mother, or egg donor if she really had to put a name to it. She wasn't around much when Mercy was younger since she was trying to make it big as a model [ also the fact that she blamed Mercy for ruining her figure ] and she broke her father's heart when she turned fifteen. She does talk to her on some occasions, but most of the time Mercy tries to avoid contact unless she really needs to talk. Her husband is nice, though.
David Quincy Adams - Mercy's beloved yet goofy father. He was her constant throughout her childhood and teenhood. When her mother left him to get married to some big time owner of a magazine, David didn't know what to do with himself. He was now truly raising his little girl all on his own now. It's because of this that Mercy is closer to her father than her mother. She considers his wife, Cassidy to be more of a mother than Katrina any day.
Cassidy Amy Adams - David's first wife who is around ten years younger than him [to which Mercy always calls her father a DILF], AND loves him to death. She thinks of Mercy as her own and calls herself a "proud mommy of an adult". She is currently five months pregnant with Mercy's soon-to-be little brother.
