as a mod, my duties are:

• bring players both joy and suffering through writing up quest requests
  
• filling in sexy other ashdown locations
  
• helping plotting and hooking all you lovely player characters deeper into the spoopiness.
  
• keep lore threads organized and up-to-date
  
• assisting with running events in guild/thread, as well as posting thread games
  
• the occasional event for nefarious shenanigans
  
• play gloom, the playful one, a NPC as well as other NPCs under my care
  
• anything else shibrogane needs
  
• always stalking halo
  
• may be a spoony bard
  
• being around to tell others just how amazerling and awesome they are. if u are in doubt, just ask and i will tell u.
  

as a player:

I write Jeremiah Mercer, Nasir Vasile, Aodhan Beverly, and Sydney Concord. All my characters have gone through the same approval process as other players and are subject to the same shop rules. Except Cid. Cid is a civilian (and thusly does not need approval before play). We do not give him powers. These characters are not NPCs and are subject to the whims and machinations of the lovely shop GM. As a RP mod I have no knowledge of the shop meta storyline and learn secrets/knowledge/otherwise the same way other players do (through roleplay or quests).

I also play Gloom, the Playful One. He is a NPC. He is here to help out (or hinder) player characters through possible fun and games. At some point you may find yourself subject to the whims and machinations of this small one. I also have a small collection of NPCs that can also be RPed with if there's reasons to do so.

i gain staff credits by:

• one staff credit for every two quest requests i do
  
• one staff credit for every three official other ashdown locations i do
  
• one staff credit per week for any week wherein i do any kind of guild thread maintenance
  
• one staff credit per week for any week wherein i do any kind of thread games/assisting with events
  
• one staff credit for each mod RP that is completed with a player (and over 500 words; not started by me)

Gloom will absolutely love to meet visitors and hang out with them and play. all. the. games. He is always your friend, always. He is available to RP with but remember that he is an other ashdown critter and may not, or may, have your best interest in his shadowy heart.

While he is an other ashdown critter, he can - on the occasion - be found in Ashdown.

He also doesn't start RPs.



Likewise where quests are run by Ashdown Whaler, they are ran by me and if you need to start one of those up please post here! You need to quote Ashdown Whaler in the thread but this way I know that you've started!
