Optimistic -- Mi-Hi is a self-admitted glass half full girl, doing her best to always try and look on the bright side of things.
When things go wrong, she does her best to try and find ways in which to salvage the situation and even in cases when the situation turns out to be unsalvageable, she does her best to try and find at
least one positive.
It’s not that Mi-Hi doesn’t have bad days, because everyone does, however she believes that facing things with a smile is so much better than defaulting to doom and gloom.
Honest -- Whilst not the type to be deliberately brutal when telling the truth, Mi-Hi tends to avoid lying - including white lies.
In part it’s because she is not only a lousy liar, but she also
knows she’s a lousy liar and in part it’s because she truly believes that honest is the best policy.
It means that people tend to know exactly where they are with her as what you see with Mi-Hi is what you get.
Easy-to-read -- Mi-Hi is pretty much an open book when it comes to her feelings with her mood at the time easily read from her expression. It’s gotten her into trouble when she’s done something that she knows she shouldn’t, with the inevitably guilty expression on her face giving her away each and every time.
It also makes for her most definitely
not being the person who you want to rely on to come up with any cover stories - unless the aim of the cover story is to ‘broadcast your guilt’.
Overly generous -- Whilst generosity is on the whole generally a good thing, Mi-Hi has a tendency to take it to the extreme. She is the type who tends to fall easily to other people’s sob stories and they don’t even have to be
good sob stories to the extent where she would think nothing about giving away the coat off her back to someone who she thinks would need it more - even if it the consequences then meant that she was left having to shiver on her way to and from school until she (or rather her parents) manage to buy a new coat.
There is also many a time where she has had to beg lunch money from her friends because she has given away her lunch and is broke from having given her allowance away.
