Quote: Deep in the Fairy Wonderland, a beautiful fountain has been decorated to match the theme. This fountain has been here for years, but there’s something different about it beyond just the little stars and lights that have been set up around it. The fountain is filled with coins from wishes, though there seem to be a few strange, foreign coins. Underneath one of the lower parts of the fountain, hidden in an ornately carved swirl, is a small golden bell with long golden chain dangling from it. If rung, a beautiful, tinkling sound echoes around the fountain as if many little bells are ringing. There is a faint hint of laughter hidden in the chiming bells. Amidst the tinkling bells and laughter, a little voice that sounds far away seems to ask for a wish. Whether or not one is requested, after a moment the song of the bells begins to fade. If the bell is rung again, nothing strange happens and it functions simply as a normal bell however, for the rest of the night, you hear the sound of giggling and tinkling bells following behind you.

It was the first time that Sadalsuud had powered up since crossing paths with Kiuchi the previous month and now (as she had then) a part of her wondered why she was still bothering, the disconnect, awkwardness and the sense of drift that she felt when garbed in the black, green and gold of her powered self something that was still there.
But she'd wanted to visit the Fairy Wonderland before the end of the Star Festival and between classes and work, she hadn't had the chance to go before now.
The Fairy Wonderland itself was quiet, although that was perhaps hardly surprising given the lateness of the evening, tiredness edging her steps slightly as she approached.
Although again it wasn't particularly surprising, not given the way that she had ended spending most of the time whilst at work earlier as Mi-Hi on her feet, before shaking her head slightly because she wasn't about to start thinking of work or the way that she'd spent the time pretty much rushed off her feet - no she was here to have a peek at the Fairy Wonderland.
There had been a box of assorted star charms at the entrance, with a sign stating that people could help themselves, and Sadalsuud couldn't help but pause and sort through them for a moment before snagging a green one for herself - because yes they were that cute.
Maybe it was her distraction over the charms, or maybe it was just her tiredness over what had been a rather long day, but it was only after she had stepped into the wonderland proper that Sadalsuud finally picked up on the nearby aura that suggested that she wasn't the only person in this general vicinity from the Court.
Green-clad feet stilling momentarily, before Sadalsuud eventually hesitantly continued on - after just because she had picked up on the super-level aura, it didn't necessarily mean that the other senshi was in the wonderland–
And tonight really was her best chance at seeing what the city had done with the grotto for the star festival.Noir Songbird Hope this works for a start Song, but let me know if not and I will tweak

It had been a quiet night. Elsa liked quiet nights--he'd had quite enough explosive drama the past few years, and all things considered, he'd rather have a nice evening where he wandered the city powered up, maybe ran into a fellow member of the Court and had a nice chat, got to explore some of the stuff set up for the Star Festival...in other words, literally anything that didn't involve having to tangle with Order.
He'd wandered down to the Fairy Wonderland to take in the sights, and eventually he settled at the edge of the wishing well, taking a seat and taking in the lights as they played across the garden. He could feel another Court aura approaching, but that didn't exactly inspire him to move; he hadn't fought with anyone in the Court, barring the dustup with Altea, and frankly, Kelly was one of his best friends these days.
So! A chance to meet someone new. That was always nice.

Sadalsuud had taken her time wandering around the fairy wonderland, pausing every now and then to take a closer look at the star-themed decorations that someone - or perhaps multiple someones - had clearly spent a lot of time on.
A part of her wished that she'd thought to bring a disposable camera with her, because it would have been nice to take a few photos, before laughing softly and ruefully at herself - because it was true what they said about hindsight being like perfect vision.
She turned a corner on to where the fountain at the grotto's centre lay, lips still quirked up into a rueful smile at herself, and then found herself hesitating for a moment when she realised that it not only was it already occupied but she'd been wrong about the aura that she'd first picked up on earlier not being in the Wonderland.
The senshi sitting at the edge of the fountain was Court, but not one that she recognised, although Sadalsuud privately acknowledged that wasn't really a surprise given that she only really knew of a few of the other members of the Court and of the little that she knew some - like Sinope - had long since appeared to have disappeared.
It eventually however the reminder that tonight was still her best chance at looking at the wonderland - at all of the wonderland including the prettily decorated fountain that had Sadalsuud finally stepping closer.
"Good evening" her greeting was polite but somewhat awkward.

Elsa greeted the other Dark Mirror with a smile and a wave. "Good evening," he said. She was definitely unfamiliar, as he'd expected. He stretched, briefly, and then pushed himself off the edge of the well and walked over, extending a hand.
"I'm pretty sure we haven't met before. I'm Elsa," he smiled, a little ruefully, "like the Disney princess. Or, Queen, technically." It felt a little bit like a joke he had to get out of the way, though on the other hand, there were worse characters to be associated with. Queen Elsa was pretty awesome, all things considered.
"It's a nice night to be out, and this place is gorgeous. Have you gotten to see a lot of the Wonderland?"

"Oh? I always thought that Elsa was pretty cool" Sadalsuud admitted, because she had seen both Frozen movies more times than she was prepared to admit to - at least out loud.
And then she felt a little embarrassed at her somewhat impulsive outburst, "Sorry, it's just that I've always liked the Frozen movies" she reached out and awkwardly took the offered hand with the intention of shaking it "My name isn't nearly as cool" a slightly rueful note crept into her voice as she added "No pun intended" because she honestly hadn't intended the pun.
"My name is Sadalsuud, I'm the senshi of clovers" although given the amount of clovers on her outfit, it was probably something that was somewhat obvious "Some of the court use Sadal though."
Not that she'd heard anyone call her Sadal in a while given that she wasn't much of a senshi of the court these days or a senshi at all.
She kept that to herself and shook her head slightly at the question as she admitted "A little, but not really that much" because it was her first time seeing what had been done with it this year "But they've done a really, really nice job."

Elsa nodded. "She is pretty cool," he agreed, "and, I mean, they're really good movies. So I'm not judging, I promise." He shrugged, and once she took and shook his hand, he let go and sat back down on the edge of the well.
"It's nice to meet you, Sadalsuud," he said. "I'm the Senshi of the Wendigo--which is a type of snow monster, sort of? It comes from Algonquian legends, and the history is really neat, but that's the baseline. Clover sounds like a...lucky sphere, huh?" He grinned, and quirked his eyebrows up, inviting her in on his joke.
"Sorry, I'm sure you hear dumb stuff like that all the time, I just think I'm really funny." He stretched his hands above his head. "Anyway, it really is nice this year. I won't keep you too long if you want to keep walking, but if you want to sit and chat a while, there's definitely room. How long have you been in the Court? I've been doing this for..." He had to think about it for a moment. "Going on five years now? Maybe even close to six? A while."

Sadalsuud hesitated for a moment, before giving a small and slightly awkward nod and walking over to take a seat on the fountain's edge.
"I can talk" she said quietly, "At least for a little bit." After all the odds of the two of them crossing paths again was pretty low given how infrequently she powered up.
Her lips curved up in another smile at Elsa's mention of snow monsters "I'm assuming it's not the Marshmallow type of snow monster" she said, mentioning the snow monster in the Disney film that had guarded Elsa's castle.
And then her smile turned self depreciating at the mention of her own magic.
"Yes my magic's based on luck" she said, admitting "At least I think it is - but it's not really that flashy." Or even particularly strong - especially compared to what she'd of the abilities of other members of the court.
"And I've been a senshi for" she frowned slightly, mentally counting backwards for a moment "For about 4 years I think."
At least if you counted her being an actual senshi rather than an active senshi.

Elsa nodded, and scooched just a little to give Sadalsuud a little more space.
"No, not Marshmallow at all," he laughed, shaking his head. "They, ah. Eat people, mostly. And there's a whole folklore thing where they're kind of a metaphor for selfishness and hoarding what should be shared, which is neat."
He crossed one leg over the other, and leaned back, resting his head on the fountain's stone edge. "Hey, it doesn't have to be flashy to be useful. Mine's more flash than help, honestly. All it really does is scare people." He shrugged his shoulders. "Do you know how yours works?"

Sadalsuud absently laced her fingers together and placed them in her lap as she perched on the stone rim of the fountain, her green eyes widening as Elsa elaborated about his magic because snow monsters that ate people was very much not Disney.
She shook her head slightly at Elsa's question about whether she knew how her magic work "Not really" she admitted, because it was never something that she'd managed to figure about–
Although to be honest, it wasn't as if she'd spent a lot of time trying to figure it out either.
"I mean it's pretty and the people that I've talked to have suggested that it's probably luck based" and Sadalsuud had no reason to believe that it wasn't.
A rueful note crept into her voice as she continued "But truthfully your snow monsters are probably a whole lot more useful than a pretty looking clover that might or might not be lucky."
