Sailor Computerparts, works at Adventure Port and he’s been hard at work on the Star Wars opening event. He’s informed his fellow mirror scouts of the plans and has been formulating his own plan for weeks to gather a larger amount of energy more than the court normally might be able to garner. This is a covert operation. Get in, drain as much as you can, as quickly as you can and get back out. With all the chaos of the event going on the chances that a wraith will be spotted even when becoming more solid is just so unlikely. The lighting for the midnight event is simply perfect for the operation and those gather are geared to go.

A four way mirror has been built into the middle of the jungle gym, an extreme convenience for the group and a suggestion planted by Sailor Computerparts weeks before the jungle gym was even built. What fun right?

Quote:
You've been instructed to gather here. Sailor Computerparts will arrive soon.

*Gather here and mingle! Your senshi know the plan, I just dont wanna clutter the other thread, you will exit there later. You will come back here if you are outed.*

Ubasti slipped through the mirror and glanced around. It looked like she was the first to have arrived so far. Ah well. She was looking forward to seeing who were the other Dark Mirrors who would show up. She knew so little of them; this was a good start to getting to know the others. Her wraith controlling skills weren’t that great, and now that she had too she was sure to have her hands full but it was worth a try. Worst case scenario, she just used one and focused on that. Until then, Ubasti paced around waiting for the others.

Ptolemaeus came through shortly after Ubasti. He was still getting used to slowing his mirror walk because he was so new as a Dark Mirror Senshi, but he thought he was gradually getting the hang of it. Seeing another already there, his face lit up.

"Hey there," he called, holding a hand up in greeting. "Are you excited? This is like throwing a surprise party." Walking over to her, the 6'3" senshi planted his fists on his hips.

While it might have been fun to join in the actual game itself, Kobayashi had figured that it would be easier if she didn't have to spend time slipping out of the game to join in on the operation. So when the time came for them to all meet up at the mirror, the blond had no trouble getting there.

Once there she saw that so far only two others had show up out of the group and she moved over to join them while hiking her skirt up a bit so she would trip over it. One day she would get used to moving around in the boots and long skirt but for now she preferred to make sure she didn't embarrass herself. "Any of you the few that were actually playing?" She asked with a smile and a tilt of her head.

Turning, Ubasti spotted a dark mirror coming through and smile. “Hi,” she grabbed the extended hand and shook it. Ubasti was tall, but he was towering! “I guess I am excited.” She’d never been to this kind of thing before, didn’t know if it was a thing within the Dark Mirror world. Then a second senshi was popping through and making her way over to them. Ubasti hoped they would have other supers or eternals joining them.

“I was before Vader picked me up. Was killing it out there,” she laughed a little. “What about you guys?” They were here, they may as well enjoy the game too.

To say that Clay, or Morpheus, was into Star Wars constituted a deep, utter lie. He wasn’t into nerd s**t like that. He was too cool to be a nerd. But to say he wasn’t a little interested in the vast, different planets and various lifestyles present in the Star Wars series was a little off-base - he never outright told said nerds to shut the hell up when they went on about their favorite scenes in Star Wars, but he certainly never joined them. He never went out to see any of the movies either, even when episode 7 released recently. He definitely didn’t see a point in going to see that, especially since it would jam up his image.

But since the operation that Sailor Computerparts put together involved Star Wars, he thought it was probably a good idea to get himself familiar with the source material so he knew what he was getting into. Clay might’ve been careful about how he looked to others, but who cared if Morpheus knew anything about Star Wars if it was for an operation? Hell, it might be expected of everybody there. So, when Clay spent the better part of his evening looking up and reading all about plot synopses for the various movies, he didn’t particularly feel bad about it. When he lost whole hours in the blink of an eye as he ate dinner in front of his desktop, he didn’t think much of it at all. And when he stared into the screen until he very nearly missed feeding time for his birds, well, that didn’t mean much of anything. It was easy to lose track of time in front of the computer.

Assuming that meant that Star Wars was incredibly interesting to him was, well, kind of rude. Right?

So when Morpheus arrived at the Adventure Port four-way mirror, his eyes looked a little bloodshot. He constantly looked toward the mirrors, where a blurry projection of what lay beyond assured him of different Star Wars scenes. He couldn’t tell if they were accurate or not, but considering how large-scale this thing looked already, Morpheus guessed that it had to be. And, since everybody was starting to assemble there, it meant the operation was pretty close to getting underway.

So Morpheus was excited on two fronts - one for finally getting to test what he’d been learning about energy draining and how to do so effectively, and one for, well, having researched the chosen fandom for the occasion. But not in a nerd way. He was obviously just doing it to familiarize himself, and definitely felt no giddiness about particular references to scenes that he might spot while he was out. No, this was purely excitement for feeling prepared to do his Dark Mirror duties in this little museum event.

One of the two girls who were already there (and goddamn they were both pretty) spoke up to him and one of the guys, which broke Morpheus from his inner monologuing. „Huh? Nah, I don’t do Star Wars. But uh, you have fun out there?“

"There were only a few of us playing?" Ptolemy asked, looking at the newcomer in surprise. "Seemed like the majority of people to me. Wouldn't it have been harder to slip into the event if you weren't participating?"

He turned back to the first young lady he'd encountered. "Heh, I got quite a few shots in, but I got shot just as much. Was down to six lights," he confessed with a sheepish grin. "I'm glad I actually got to interact with some of the other players before we were summoned here, though. What side were you on?"

And then a fourth senshi joined them, this one a guy. "Hey! Were you one of the ones playing too?" He snickered. "What does that mean, anyway, you don't 'do' Star Wars? That mean you don't like it or you're just not interested?"

It seemed like she had been one of the last senshi to follow Sailor Computerparts' instructions, because by the after slipping through the mirror Sadalsuud found that there were already other senshi gathered–

Although given that Sailor Computerparts didn't look to be amongst their number perhaps she wasn't tooo late - at least Sadalsuud was very much hoping that she wasn't too late.

Green eyes couldn't help but gaze at the other senshi in curiosity, because up until this point Sadalsuud hadn't really met a lot of fellow senshi - actually if truth be told she hadn't met any senshi from the Court or otherwise - unless one counted her encounter with Mr Prince who, alongside Miss Kitten, had helped her to become as she was–

And additionally this was her first time being involved in anything like this..

This...? For a moment Sadalsuud looked thoughtful as she tried to think on a word before eventually settling on mission. After 'mission' had been how this had been described to her and it really was shaping up to be a kind of mission - albeit a kind of mission to help out the Court.

For now though it seemed like she would have to wait and so she settled on giving the others waiting a cheerful smile, green eyes momentarily glancing about once again for Sailor Computerparts as she said in a voice as cheerful as her smile "Hi I'm Sadalsuud, sorry I'm late."

“Well, if Sailor Computerparts gathered us here I don’t think he would have made it difficult for any of us to get in.” Ubasti shrugged. She gave both the newcomers a small smile. “I hope there are more of us.” She gave mirror space a once over, hoping that more would eventually come. Though, hadn’t the last Dark Mirror meeting been about how all the sailors were scattered everywhere? She knew no one here, which was too bad she would have enjoyed seeing a familiar face. Not that she was complaining, she could make friends too and work with the new senshi.

“Are any of you newly awakened?” Ubasti was aiming to reknit all of the stray strands of the dark mirror together, or at least try to. The task did seem quite daunting and gargantuan but the way she saw it she had plenty of time to work something out.

Sadalsuud had found her gaze shifting towards the mirror that she had stepped through, but green eyes shifted to look over and towards the senshi who had spoken at the sound of the other woman's voice.

"I'm pretty new" she admitted. "I met a cute kitten one day when I was walking home from pottery class who turned out to be a talking kitten and Prince Remarque happened to be passing by when we were talking."

There was a fond note in her voice at the admission as she thought of the small black cat that she had ended up mentally dubbing 'Miss Kitten' due to not having a name for her.

"It was..." She continued, a thoughtful frown slipping onto her features as she thought it over for a moment before adding "It was just over a month or so."

Kobayashi smiled at the other woman(Ubasti) and gave a shrug. "I would have but I figured it would be easier not have to subtract myself from the game, that and that it would probably be best to not have many players suddenly vanish." If it hadn't been for those reasons she would have jumped at the chance though. Her attention then shifted over to one of the guys(Morpheus) when he spoke up. "Don't do Star Wars? Just don't like the movies or do they not interest you?" The blonde asked out of curiosity. Maybe the other mirror Senshi preferred other genres or many he was one of the Star Trek fans who believe you should only like one of the two shows?

The Senshi then looked over at the other male(Ptolemy) when he answered her question with one of his own. "I doubt that we were in the majority playing out there, other wise this mission wouldn't be very successful since we would just be draining ourselves right?" She asked with a thoughtful look. Kobayashi then smiled and gave a wave to Sadalsuud when she joined them and introduced herself. "You aren't late, we're just gathering right now. Nice to meet you though, I'm Kobayashi." At the question Ubasti asked if anyone here was new she raised a hand and made a so-so motion. "I've only been a Senshi for about two and a half months now I think it was."

Morpheus looked to the other male senshi, attempting to look unfazed. He wasn’t sure how well it went over. „Nah I wasn’t playing. I put the robe on to get in here but that’s it.“ Clay wasn’t much for laser tag regardless - he didn’t know too many people who looked favorably on it.

Morpheus did not, however, expect to receive so many questions over his earlier statement. Keeping his arms across his chest, he answered as honestly as possible. „I’m just not interested in Star Wars. I don’t care if you guys are or anything — I just checked into it because we got called down here. Did some reading online and stuff. Seems like something nerds would dig. Being a nerd isn’t my thing.“ He shrugged nonchalantly. Nobody here needed to know that he torrented the first few movies onto his computer last night and left the thing on during the better part of the afternoon to complete the set, or that he had plans to binge watch it once the weekend hit.

Especially if they went to his school - he definitely didn’t need that rumor flying around.

Then the introductions came, and Morpheus made special note of Ubasti and Kobayashi. Sadalsuud was cute, but not quite his type. She could be, though - he wouldn’t write her out just yet.

„Oh, and I’m Morpheus. I’m pretty new, too - haven’t been out more than a couple times like this. Still getting used to it.“ And the magic; half the time he couldn’t remember his own sphere, let alone how to cast in the proper order.

„Sounds like we’re all pretty new here. Sticking together would be too conspicuous, huh?“

"Well, yeah, provided we actually tried to blend in and at least pretend to play," Sailor Ptolemaeus answered the Egyptian-looking lady. "And I wouldn't think that'd be thought of as 'too difficult' or too much to ask." He raised a hand in response to her question. "I guess I've been 'awoken' relatively recently," he added with a crooked grin. "Still trying to get the hang of all...this. The name's Sailor Ptolemaeus - 'Tole-em-AY-us' 'cause the 'p' is silent. But you can call me 'Ptolemy' for short."

He glanced over at the other girl who said she was new and scratched his head. "Oh, right. I met that guy too, I think. No talking kittens, though. That was around the end of last month for me. Nice to know I'm not the only new kid on the block."

Looking up at the blonde woman talking about players vanishing, Ptolemy laughed. "I wouldn't worry about that. Not like anyone's keeping count with all the chaos everywhere. Aside from there being so many levels to the gym, they just let loose Darth Vader and who knows who else, so I'm pretty sure our replacements will have the rest of the players distracted well enough. Doubt we would have been allowed to participate otherwise."

He shook his head. "No, sorry, by 'majority', I meant most of us Dark Mirror Senshi were playing, not that most people playing were Dark Mirrors. Should have clarified." Ptolemy raised his brows. "Two and a half months? Nice. Doesn't sound new to me, but I guess compared to some of you others, it could be."

Ptolemaeus' grin grew broad and he slung an arm about Morpheus' shoulders at the other man's response. "Being a nerd 'isn't your thing'?" he laughed. "I didn't know there was a way to define being a nerd. The way I see it, it's just one way of describing someone who's passionate about something. That's not something to look down on, is it?" He put his face right up next to the other male's as he turned his head to him. "Don't you have anything you're passionate about, cupcake?"

You’ve been waiting in the mirror, you’d been show weeks before, for the perfect time to strike, your wraiths are at ready and your goal is to drain without being spotted and without drawing any rogue wraiths attention. Sailor Computerparts slips into the mirror and commands the attention of his fellow scouts. He is still wearing the Vader costume over his fuku.

In his arms were a bunch of robes and light sabers. “Put these over your fukus. They are made like the ones the players in the event are wearing expect the lights on these will not go out. You’re light sabers work the same as the other, though you have no real need to use them.”

He handed them out and waited for the group, not already wearing them to put them on.

“The battle between the civilians wanes and now is a good time to strike. Soon they will be milling about enjoying refreshments, but currently my coworkers are content to let them duke it out for a bit longer. Do not forget there are those pulled to the sides, they are good targets, but are also watching and cheering on their remaining teammates. Be quick, careful, and quiet slipping out the mirror and remember the hiding spots in the jungle gym. Are we ready? Then let's go.”

Quote:
You have you mission. Get into the jungle gym and don’t get spotted. Please exit to here and remember to return once you are spotted

Quote:
At this part of the event DMC are allowed to invade the civilian Star Wars event and use your wraiths to begin to drain civilians. You may target anyone and roll to see how much energy you garner from them. However, they can counter roll to spot you and they may also roll to spot the wraiths. If you are spotted 3 times you must flee.

To drain a civilian, roll a 10 sided die. The number you roll will determine the amount of energy you drain. You cannot miss. For the purpose of this event a wraith can drain up to 30 HP total, but for every 10 HP it gain, it also becomes more visible. Make sure to quote the person you are draining.

Make sure to keep track of the energy your wraith drains (in bold red at the top of your post), if your wraith reaches 30 before the end of the rp, then you need to roll to escape and avoid being caught. Roll a 10 sided die to escape, 1-5 the wraith is spotted. 6-10, you escape into the mirror with your wraith in tact and full of energy.

If you roll 1-5 and the wraith is spotted, post in bold red at the top of your post wraith spotted. Civilians may now attack and roll to destroy it. Wraiths have an HP of 15, once spotted and are not hard to destroy. If your wraith is destroyed it's time for you to flee.

„Who the ******** makes a silent P?“ Morpheus asked aloud, brows scrunched together. Perplexed, he tried to spell it out in his head, and pick a place for this purportedly silent P. Soon he abandoned the thought, as spelling wasn’t his greatest subject.

When an arm found its way about Morpheus’ shoulders, he resisted the urge to simply slink out from underneath the taller man. Morpheus did not feel he was short at 5’9“, nor did he expect that he was done growing, but he certainly felt short next to this giant of over six feet. It was, as he reluctantly admitted to himself, intimidating. This dude totally just invaded his space like it wasn’t a thing, and started touching him like they were friends or something, and there was no way in hell he asked first or anything like that. And then he started talking down to Morpheus in that weird laissez-faire way that people did, where he felt insulted, and he couldn’t entirely figure out why. None of the words hinted that he knew nothing, but damned if he didn’t feel aggravated just by the tone of voice.

„Of course there’s a way to define a nerd,“ Morpheus shot back. „Weren’t you in high school? Fatass glasses, acne, wears weird clothes sometimes. Gets all the best grades in class cuz he doesn’t have any friends. I don’t wanna be that guy. And I don’t wanna be one of those people who runs around in weird costumes all the time either. You can be passionate about s**t without being a nerd too. Like you can get all interested in cars and s**t— dude, stop creepin’.“ Once Ptolemy’s face grew far too close to his own, Morpheus gave up trying to tolerate the space invasion and thrust an arm against the other man’s chest.

„I’m not that interested in seeing every ********’ pore on your face. s**t.“ Morpheus gave a huff.

Luckily Computerparts arrived in time to distribute extra clothes (because Morpheus definitely wanted to overheat here) and give the go-ahead to take action. Happy to part from the taller man, Morpheus seized the first set of robes he could find (in black, of course, because black was badass), and grabbed a saber to hang at his side. Quick, careful, and quiet sounded easy enough in a place like this. All he had to do was blend in and play nerd, right?

Before he stepped through the mirror, Morpheus looked back at the other man. „Yo, Ptolemy, bet I can beat you back here with a full wraith!“ With a grin, he stepped through the mirror.
