The evening appeared to be shaping up to be a quiet one, with barely any footfall along the quiet park–
Although that may have been down to the fact that it was well past opening time and (more-to-the point) well past the time when most ordinary people would be out wandering about.
Truthfully, Sadalsuud wasn't really sure quite what she was still doing out, given that her work-shift was over and she had assignments that needed to be worked on waiting for her at home–
And she had even less idea why she had powered up, given that she hadn't powered up in well..
Well... A while. An almost forever kind of while.
It was ironic given that there had once been a time when Sadalsuud would have been able to recall the last time that she had powered up, would have been able to recall the last time that she had been out so late.
She had been younger then and Sinope had been around, as had Miss Kitten.
She had felt like she had connections to the Court then, imperfect as she was.
That had been then.
Now the chances of her powering up was rare, the small dark mirror senshi instead spending far more time unpowered, much more time in her life as Mi-Hi–
And mayhaps it was a pretence. Mayhaps...
But equally it didn't seem as if anyone had really noticed that she was gone.
Then again, she had never been a particularly strong senshi even when she i had been more active, back before she had started drifting away–
And if Sadalsuud was being honest (and she generally tried to be), there were senshi that were far stronger than her within the Court.xxxSleet Tempest Snape Sorry for the delayed start Sleet, this week ended up crazier than expected. Let me know if anything needs tweaking :3

This late at night wasn't a typical time for him to be out, he'd much rather be in his bed sleeping, but tonight he'd slipped out a bit later and was staying out a bit longer. It was why he'd sensed someone else out and about...someone else from his own family. Headed that way, hurrying his pace, the dark eyed senshi couldn't help but wonder just who was out so late and why. It wasn't safe - even for himself.
When he did find the senshi he took the time to stop and stare for a moment. "Sadalsuud." Calling out as he closed the distance between them - running almost towards her. It had been too long since he'd seen her and he had worried...but he hadn't known where or how to find her. He should have done better - he really should have.
"You're ok? It's been a long time since I've seen you." Looking her over as he spoke, as if some answer to his questions might just appear on her.
(No worries, real life has been a thing this week...it's been insane.)

Perhaps it was the way that her thoughts had been wandering that had caused Sadalsuud to miss the sudden flare of aura that suggested that someone else was in the vicinity.
Perhaps...
Or perhaps her avoidance of pretty much anything to do with the powered side of her life had made her rusty–
But whether it was one, the other, neither or even a combination of both, Sadalsuud had missed the initial flare of aura that suggested that someone else was in the vicinity - or at least close enough to be in sensing range.
In fact by the time that she finally picked up on the eternal level aura, it close enough to feel like it was practically on top of her.
The aura was in turn followed by a voice, Sadalsuud almost instinctively half-turning as a figure headed in her direction - one that Sadalsuud belately realised was one of the few members of the court that Sadalsuud actually knew.
"Hello Kiuchi" and whilst the two words were polite enough the cheerful smile that would have once accompanied it was missing. She absently brushed a hand over the clover adorned overlay "Yes I'm okay, yourself?"

"I'm doing well. I hope you've been doing good?" He asked, softly, it had been a very long time since he'd seen the other and he did hope she was doing ok. She was one of those who was too kind for the world, as far as he could judge her anyway, and he hoped nothing bad had happened to her. She should have good things happen in her life...and only good things.
"Would you mind some company tonight?" While he didn't mind wandering the city on his own, he was rather used to it, he wouldn't mind spending some time with his fellow dark mirror senshi since she was here. He just wanted to make sure it was ok with her, she didn't have to let him join her tonight, he wasn't the sort to impose upon another person.

"Yes" Sadalsuud said with an awkward nod, "I'm fine" the words falling stiltedly from her lips - but it wasn't a lie, not really - because she was perfectly fine as Mi-Hi after all.
As Sadalsuud on the other hand? She was practically non-existant, but it wasn't as if her absence really made too much difference to the court.
Caught up in her thoughts in just how awkward this was, Sadalsuud only belatedly realised that Kiuchi had asked her a question, had asked about.. About company?
Her head was shaking even as she processed the thought, "Ah no, it's okay, I was only..."
Actually she still wasn't sure why she'd let herself power up, but she was already starting to regret that fact that she had, the regret intermixing with the general awkwardness that she was feeling and was coming out in her stilted smiles and even more stilted words.
Another shake of her head "I won't be out for much longer."

"You're sure?" He asked, wondering if something was wrong. She seemed...different, although he honestly didn't know her too well. It just seemed off - the whole thing. But if she was sure he wouldn't push - it wasn't his place.
"You'll be out again soon? I can join you if you'd like." It would be nice to see others from the court, to see members he didn't see often. It was something which should be fixed...they should all see each other at least on some regular basis...just to see how everyone else was doing. They were a small group after all...and should keep together.
"You'll be safe getting home?"

Sadalsuud had nodded slightly in answer to Kiuchi's question about whether she was sure - because she truly wasn't planning to be out for that much longer - only to find herself hesitating when he'd asked her if she would be out again soon.
"I... No. Probably not" she admitted at last, because she generally tried to be honest "At least not like this."
Not as Sadalsuud. And whilst the three words were left unspoken, perhaps she had said enough to imply them anyway.
And then because the silence felt even more awkward she added quickly "But thank you for the offer"
Sadalsuud managed another smile, well more a facsimile of a smile, her lips quirking stiltedly for a moment before she ended up just giving up.
"I hope you have a good rest of the evening" and despite her awkwardness and despite the stilted words - she genuinely did mean them.

It took a moment for him to understand what she meant. He wanted to ask about it, why she didn't plan to power up. had something happened...was it something that hadn't happened? Or was there a way to fix it - to do better. He didn't ask though...he didn't want to push and to pry into places he wasn't sure he should pry into.
"Of course. if you ever come out you can call me. I'd be happy to keep you company. Get home safely and we'll see each other at some point." He was sure of that. Something would, without a doubt, bring them together...along with ever other dark mirror senshi. It was simply how things went. They seemed to be silent for a while...and then bam! Something would happen and everyone would be together again. He sort of hoped to keep together with a group of members while as a civilian...to make them more and more his family. He was working on it and would continue to. The court was his family and all he had really, his blood family all the way in China.
"I will - you as well .Get home safe. Remember, if you ever need someone call. We're all family." And they were all only a call away. Turning he slowly made to leave. He did feel somewhat sad, and he knew why, but he wasn't going to bother her. She would return to them sometime, mirror space would do something...or something would happen in the city.

Unlike Kiuchi, Sadalsuud personally doubted that it was likely that she and Kiuchi would run each other again. Tonight's meeting had been chance - but it wasn't one that she could see repeating.
She gave a small awkward nod and kept silent however, because she had pretty much said as much already and it didn't need repeating. Instead, eventually after a few moments, she said quietly "Goodbye Kiuchi."
And maybe she was the only one that heard the note of finality as she turned and walked in the opposite direction.
