The direction can be changed slightly, but cannot be twisted to start a tornado. Temperature is the same temperature as the surrounding air. Speed is a strong breeze:: 17-21 Knots which is about 20-25 mph. Strong enough to make branches sway.
At Expert, you can control and change the speed of the wind. At Master you can also change the temperature.
While wind is blowing, you must be concentrating on it and cannot not fight or cast any other magic while doing so. Once you break concentration, the spell stops. You can only cast this once a day.

Magical Incantation: Webilu Luonilu Category: Non-Battle Tome Type: Neutral Description:

Requirements:
25 INT Civilians can use this Adept stage.
Astral Tomes
A Handy Tome
Magical Incantation: Loriantharla Category: Battle and Non-Battle Tome Type: Neutral Description:Created by/for reirelight.
This tome teaches one how to concentrate magic into the shape of hands that can do simple tasks for it's owner. It teaches one how to cast it and then maintain the spell without having to concentrate on the hands to maintain the spell.
Battle: The hands can be summoned and used to distract an enemy; the hands cannot deal attacks, they are only able to distract. -10% to one foe's To Hit Die for 3 rounds. Can only be used once per battle.
Chapter 1 covers basic control and the summoned hands can only do the most mundane of tasks: fetching and holding things. They can only carry about 5 lb's worth. The hands will only last for 1 hour before the magic runs out and they vanish. Chapter 2 teaches how to strengthen the hands and impart more finesse. The hands are getting more capable, you are able to get some slightly more skillful tasks out of them like cleaning(though nothing breakable), simple stitches for mending, and they can carry up to 15 lb's worth. The hands only last for 3 hours. Chapter 3 expands upon earlier knowledge. The summoned hands can be trusted to not break anything delicate when cleaning, they can do some cooking skills (like that evil tossing of food in pan and catching it.. they can do this), and they can carry up to 50 lb's now. They last for 6 hours.

Sueno
Name: Sueno means Dream in Spanish. Nick name is Sue.
Description: Sueno is pale for a farmer family. Her skin tends to burn and never freckles, much to her dismay. She's always wanted freckles. Her cream colored hair is short except for a few strands of bangs that she has done up in a small braid. She has large blue eyes. She usually wears an old patched overall so that she can play and help out on the farm easily. Her build is thin but muscled. Her hands have calluses and dirt on them from gardening and helping her parents out in the fields.
Her wings are liike a kingfisher's: teal themed. here's a reference
Personality: Farm girl! Sueno is a farm girl at heart; she loves, dirt, animals and running about all day in the sun. She follows her older brother about and gets into all sorts of messes and trouble! She has country accent and wears overalls that are slightly too big and patched. Sueno absolutely adores her older brother and calls him Dyn-dyn. She looks up to him quite a bit. But the majority of her hero worship is for the Guardians.
Sueno is always finding new and interesting places around her house to explore and hurt animals to bring home to heal. Her mother has gotten quite good at telling her that she can't keep them. Sueno hates having to part, but if it's that or the dinner pot? She'd rather the healed animals get released! She wants her own ranch attached to the farm. Sueno has a green thumb, she loves planting and growing things and has her own little section in the family garden. She knows that when she grows up, she'll be working on the farm. For her the farm is home and her future
While Sueno loves animals and dirt, she also loves to play dress up and "house" with her female friends. She does have a huge girly side and tends to only play boy games when with her brother.
Changes as she grows: Sueno is beginning to think about the future. She's looking at the farm and wants it. She knows her brother wants to be a warrior and not be a farmer even though their parents want him to take over the farm. In addition to the farm, she wants to start a small ranch, maybe have a small building where she'll tame creatures...
Sueno is a slow grower. She's still quite young and very much innocent. Though she's getting braver and more confident. She has a dream now, one she is striving towards with all her strength.
History: Their family has been living on this farm for many generations, with other farmers children marring into the family. Only a few of the children born become warriors, most of them take the peaceful path of a farmer. The few warriors in their family are respected and tend to lean towards weapons dealing with hunting. Not all of course, but the majority. Madryn and Sueno's parents are traditionalist. They wish for their eldest son to take over the farm and their daughter to marry a near by farmer or bring back a husband and help on their farm. The farm life for them was mostly quiet, broken by some events that made life interesting. Most of the events were quiet and caused by nature(floods, huge thunderstorms, drought), but one large event was not.
The next bit is enacted out in Berry Picking Fiasco! When Maryn was 6 and Sueno 4, a group of Peisio dragons came into the area and the Guardians had to send in some Knights to keep the farms safe. Madyrn and Sueno, being rambunctious children, had headed out early in the morning to pick some berries by the river and were caught by them. As they fled back towards the safety of home, Sueno fell behind and got separated from her brother. Scared and crying, she hid beneath a large dead tree until a Knight of the Guardians found her. Since then Sueno has admired the Guardians and always tries to go see them when they ride by or visit. Speech: #CC935D

Family
Parents: ......Liopa: Mother. She's a thin woman with permanently tanned skin and pale cream hair like Sueno. Liopa is an earthy sort, she prefers practical things mostly and believes hard work will make anything possible. She also has a robust sense of humor and loud laugh. ......Veran: Father. He is tall and broad, with a heavy boned look to him. He too is permanently tanned from his farming work. A quiet man, he is shy and family oriented. Preferring to stick to the farm and let Liopa handle the finances and selling of their produce. Though he always accompanies her to market, he just doesn't talk to customers.
Older Brother : Madryn. Belongs to Jayoku. He is 2 years older than Sueno. Sue adores him, and follows him everywhere! Calls him "Dyn-Dyn"
NPC's: Fillarin :: Her Taming Teacher. A tall thin man who owns a Hastar ranch. He's taken Sue under his wing to teach her how to take care of animals and tame them. He is holding a few Sheron and Leklans for when she's older to help her get started. He has bright blue wings shaped like a hawks and short cropped bright blue hair teh same color. His skin is a tanned color that most farmers get with a smattering of freckles. His eyes are a bright golden color and he often has a smile on his face. He has a wife (Meria) and two sons. Orlan is the older and Loren the younger. Meria is a small petite woman with pale red hair and the same tanned skin like her husband. Her eyes are a light blue and her wings are a white and pale rust color shaped like an owls. Orlan is like his father but with his mother's colors while Loren is short and blocky with pale blue hair and golden eyes. Speech: #86D5FF Orlan: Fill's oldest son.
Ràild Sailcirc: a ranch hand at Fillarin's farm. 5 years older than Sueno, he grew up in southern Serenia in a great maize, wheat, and alpha farm. Tall and well muscled he headed north to get training in Ranching since he's always loved animals. Soft accented deep voice. Amber eyes, red hair, and a pale green cast to his tanned skin. Speech:brown
Milan: Oblivionite archer who aides Sueno while she's on Ayr. He teaches her how to track, how to lay traps and survive in the wilderness. Sppech: #4C0000

Loot!
Rope: Helps you climb out of stuck places. Also useful in specific Adventures. Climbing kit: Grants you a +5 to any die rolls that involve climbing: walls, cliffs, ceilings, not floors though... Lock Pick Set: Grants you a +5 to any die rolls that involve opening a lock. Talisman of Second Chances: Allows for 1 Re-Roll [3 Charges] Talisman of Evasion: Use to escape any Adventure that does not have an "instant escape" or any way out. Teleports you back to your home. [2 Charges] Olive taming jewel : +10 to Step 1 Capture in the Taming Adventure [5 Charges] Crimson taming jewel : +10 to Step 2 Taming in the Taming Adventure [5 Charges] Sapphire taming jewel : +10 to Step 3 Training in the Taming Adventure [5 Charges] Emerald taming jewel : +5 to all Steps in the Taming Adventure [5 Charges] Magic Stew: Allows you a +5 on your Catching and Taming rolls (only use one per attempt) Calming Cookies: +2 to Taming an animal (may use up to 5 cookies on one attempt). Firani Dragon Tear: counts as 3 RP req's
: Nesha: female. She found this one hiding in a small hidden cave near the river that runs by her home. Nesha is very aloof and doesn't like to be treated like an animal. Though pets and praise are very nice...
: Mourlor: male. This one a friend of hers had and gave to her since she knew Sueno wanted to be a tamer and raise creatures. Mourlor is very loud and gets along well with Videe. They like to wake the house up at dawn with loud rambunctious calls. He's half untamed, and the biggest of the bunch.
Lolak: male. Sueno's brother Madryn gave this one to her. Sueno is very happy, she's getting animals to raise! Now where to put them is the question. Lolak is vain and loves to sun himself. He's often by Sueno and does his bets to keep an eye on her. Maybe her brothers feelings of protectiveness were inherited....
Mishka: female. Mishka's egg was found by her father who brought it home. After all, if his daughter was trying to raise them, he would try to help her! Mishka is practically Pa's dragon. He was the one who actually raised it since Sueno had her hands full with the others. She is the most tame of them all and understand s orders so she helps out on the farm. Pa now understands why Sueno loves to raise animals, it's quite fun and the company is nice!
Silar: male. Silar was found in the snow outside their house. Suneo isn't sure, but she feels like Silar was left at her place for a reason. He's the most musical of the bunch and has a sweet piping voice that he sings in. This is the only one that Ma likes. The others tend to be too loud and annoying to her ears.

Relationships
Orderites Madryn :: Big Brother. Adores. Looks up to and follows about. Ainsley :: Nice and big strong boy! Wouldn't mind having him around the farm more often! Avani :: I have a new best friend! Plus she lives near me and likes to farm like I do! Ismene :: I made a new friend! She dresses nice and likes to tame things like me! Mearon :: He is way to abrupt and rude! Kind of him to help out.. but he could have been nicer! Kadryn :: Really nice! Can't believe she's tossed aside society though... While I do not approve of her marriage, it is not my place to judge. And it's not like he's a bad person! Just... Orderite and Oblivionite should not mix.... Oddette :: She's a thief! Rude one too. I do not trust that little girl at all, I hope she finds a family who will teach her to be a responsible respectful person unlike the current vagabond thief she is.
Oblivionites Reamos :: So weird! Not only does he have a crush on his Orderite superior in the Guardians.. but I get the feeling he hates who he is. Why? He needs to not fall for Cerlian.. not only is there a race barrier, that man is a total playboy! He'll just get hurt.
Dovaas Karayan: My brother's friend! he's nice, he promised to take my hunting.
Hybrids
Khehora Sameal :: Feral Gaili Khehora. I like him! He gave me a ride on his back and showed me how to tame a vlidean! Wonder if he'd help me with others too? Suluksati :: Feral Aeduan Alihora. She's nice! And fluffy..

Roleplays
[HB] = Halloween Double RP bonus. Ongoing [PRP] Girls Night with Avani and Ismene [PRP] Hungry with Odette
Pets:(linked are edited pics that match the creatures looks!) Videe:: Tamed Vlidean. Not trained, but is still a pet and follows Sueno around. Lives in a small coop above the hay in the barn. It likes it there since there are plenty of rodents for it to kill and eat! This has endeared it to Sueno's father and mother who allow it to stay there.
Gazini: Trained Hastar. Black fur, red hair/scales/eyes. Gazini is very calm and likes to play pranks. He is the start of her ranch! Very protective of his herd(aka, Sueno, her family, and he pets). Name means Blood in Zulu
Preza: Trained Olrawk. The Olrawk that is trained to carry messages for Sueno. She's left it with her parents so they can use it (and not the very flighty Faes) to take messages to town or other farms.
Impisi (Hyena in Zulu): Trained Rajsha. A Rajsha she captured on her first try because of the help of Kadryn and Milan; he is trained as a guard and to aid in hunting. Eventually Sueno will train him as a mount for herself since she's light enough to ride him once he finishes growing.

Creatures Sueno wants: (mostly large and dangerous creatures that can be mounts or guards)
Arrical :: Adults don't take kindly to capture nor training and to attempt to grab a cub is to court death itself. But it can be done... through ingenious plotting and sheer luck. Arrical's eat anything, though meat and berries are best. Do not attempt to harm the Arrical, it will turn on you! They make good battle companions if you ever end up succeeding at training...
Only those in their final stages (Khehorian or Master) may attempt to capture or tame this creature. For All Steps: You need to roll a 96-100 to succeed. Any bonus's and jewels used still apply!
Hastars ::Make sure you say which Hastar you are trying to tame! They have different bonuses due to the vastly different natures of the Hastars from different Continents. As for food, they eat mostly meat and fruits, though they will eat grass if there is nothing else. These guys are the main mounts and beasts of burden in Magesc, so you'll find quite a few buyers for tame and trained Hastars!
Serenian Hastars: May only be caught by those in their Adept or Orakovan stage(or higher).
-15 to capture, -15 to tame, +10 to train.
Soudulian Hastars:
+5 to capture, +15 to tame, +15 to train.
Eowynian Hastars.
-15 to capture, -5 to tame, +10 to train.
Ayrian Hastars.
-10 to capture, -5 to tame, +10 to train.
Aiskian Hastars. : They may only be caught or tamed by Experts, Orakovan stages, or higher. Aiskala Dovaa may attempt this when as an Adept though. Also, you can only tame a young Hastar, adults are too aggressive and independent.
-30 to capture, -20 to tame, -5 to train.
Jabrvin :: Super sized winter wolf, need I say more? They do have thick pelts, but that will shed in summer, so as long as they aren't in too hot a place they'll be fine. Make sure they get plenty of exercise and meat. Also give them company of some sort: Jabrvin are pack animals.
Only an Expert or above may attempt to catch this. For Steps 1 and 2: -30 to both rolls. They are pack creatures, smart, and very prideful: have fun being chased! For Step 3: +10 to Train! They are smart and loyal, once they consider you part of the pack, you can easily teach them.
Notbjaovin :: Notbjaovin are dangerous predators, though they hold an affinity with the dark. They are sensitive to sudden bright light, so be careful not to shine lights in their eyes! Meat is the best thing to feed them.
Only Experts, Orakovan, or higher stages may attempt to tame. Unless you are a full blood Oblivionite; the souless-ness and dark powers of the Oblivionites call out and calm the Notbjaovin. An Apprentice full blood Oblivionite may attempt this. Full Blood Oblivinites get a +5 to all 3 steps. For Step 3: -20 to your roll. Notbjaovins are very independent and don't take orders well. Pure Oblivionites do not take this penalty.
Rajsha :: Think sabber-tooth tiger goat mix! Full of pride, cunning, and the ability to be where you do not want them. BUt once loyal, the treat you as part of the pack. They are pack animals, so try to keep other animals (or another Rajsha) around for company. They eat meat mostly. Do not feed them sweets or bread! It does evil things to tier digestive system(sweets) and can cause them to choke (bread). They are freaking agile and excellent jumpers. May be best to keep them in a large cage in a barn just to make sure they stay put till you train them.
Step 1: -20 to catch Step 2: -30 to tame: Did I mention they had both goat and cat in them? Double does of pride and stubbornness~ Step 3: -10 to train. They may be loyal, but that doesn't mean they take orders well. THEY are the alpha, you are just a food supplier. Know your place.
Riistäjä :: Very violent and independent, the Riistaja are difficult to tame, though it's even more difficult to catch. Be prepared to chase it into the trees, because it can climb in addition to being fast over short distances. It'll only eat meat and needs places to run and climb.
For Step 1:-10 to your roll Unless you are a full blood Oblivionite. The souless-ness and dark powers of the Oblivionites call out and calm them, -5 to your roll instead. For Step 2:-5 to your roll. If you are a full blood Oblivionite, + 5 to your roll. For Step 3: +3 to your roll. Once you have tamed it, it tends to be very loyal and wiling to learn. If you are a full blood Oblivionite, +10 to your roll.
Olrawk -- Olrawks prefer to be fed small fish, live rodents, and some seeds. Once trained, olrawks are intelligent enough to be used much like hawks as hunting tools or even for delivering messages long distance. Thanks to their habit of singing for Oblivionites, many Orderite soldiers and even traveling civilians like to keep them close on hand as pets to warn them of approaching danger, but Oblivionites, too, often attempt to catch and tame them for their beautiful songs. They are silent fliers, but not too fast unless diving from a great height. Despite Orderite legends of olrawks being the product of Seren, olrawks are naturally calmer around Oblivionites, and Oblivs, as such, generally have an easier time taming them.
+5 to all steps for any Oblivionite (hybrids included) For Step 1: +5 to anyone who can fly: Khehora, Orderites, and those of high enough stages to do so (this stacks for Oblivionites). You may crush an Aryala orb to gain control of the wind and get this bonus (lose the orb from your inventory).
