"I've actually been researching Vlidean." she said holding up the book that she had been reading when she ran into Sueno earlier. Looking back at the nest. "I actually think that it is a Vlidean nest." it sure looked like one. "Wanna go check it out?" she asked excitedly. She had been wanting to catch one for a while now, and if she had someone with her than it would be even easier! This is what I am responding to! Make sure to put in 300 words for step 1, then we'll continue to step 2!Sueno smiled. A fellow vlidean hunter! Well, she liked ore than just vlideans, but not important right now! "Ah have a Vlidean pet already! He doesna listen to orders though. So Ah guess Ah know somethin’ about them!" She grinned, "Check it out? O'course! Though Ah'll have to climb to the roof since my wings canna carry me yet. " She looked around for stairs, ladders, climbable walls, anything she could use to scale the building and get at that nest. "Gotta be careful though. Tah parent Vlidean's are mean."She hoped the nest was empty. A Vlidean adult would chase them until it got them out of its territory or they found someplace to hide. I don’t want Ma to see me getting chased by a Vlidean, I’d get lectured for sure! words: 133/300

Ah so this other girl knew something about Vlidean also! That was good, where Ismene had book knowledge this girl had practical knowledge! Together the two of them couldn't fail! When the girl said that her wings couldn't carry her yet Ismene nodded. "Yeah mine aren't strong enough either, but the ladder there looks like it goes all the way up." she said pointing towards the ladder that was a little off the ground. She wasn't sure if she could reach it, but maybe if she jumped and used her wings a little she would be able to reach it. When Sueno said that the parents were mean she had to think for a second before remembering that she had read that somewhere. "Hopefully there won't be any parents there, so we won't have to deal with them." although she knew how to fight, she had only ever studied it and never had to do it. She crossed her fingers as she walked towards the ladder, it looked a little old but like it would hold them.

a pet dino Tag back! You got me while I was on and in the mood to rp XD I'll let Ismene be the one who grabs the vlidean :3 Sueno followed Ismene as she walked over towards the ladder. That will make things easier! She looked at her companions clothes. “Here, let me climb to get that ladder. Mah clothes won’t get messed up by climbing the wall.” Plus she was used to climbing things. Country girl and all that! While as her new acquaintance… well, looked very nice but didn’t look like she climbed a lot to put it kindly. Sueno carefully found purchase on the rocky wall and clambered up it inelegantly the few feet to where the ladder was hung. The wall wasn’t smooth, but the cracks weren’t big so it was not the easiest thing to do. “Ah wish Ah could fly already. This’d be so much easier then.” She sighed as she finally got her hand within distance of the ladder. “Look out below!” Swinging her hand in a fist, she knocked it off its hook and onto the ground. Hopping down, she shook out her hands and laid the ladder against the wall. “Ye first! I’ll keep the ladder steady. Ah’ve got a Vlidean already, so ye can have dibs on this one if it’s in the nest!”words: 329

She smiled, this girl was really nice and Ismene really was appreciative of it. Although she cared mostly about learn, she did have a soft spot for her appearance. She liked nice clothing, and it happened that the outfit she was wearing was a pretty nice one. She didn't think that she would be doing any climbing or getting dirty when she left the house. She watched as Sueno climbed and pulled the ladder down. "Good job!" she said happily as she nodded and grabbed on the ladder and started climbing. "What did you name yours?" she asked curiously. If there was one up there she wasn't sure what she would name it. Fluff was pretty easy to name, but what would she name a Vlidean? It wouldn't be that simple.
As she climbed higher and higher she was finally at the roof, and to the girls luck there was no mother Vlidean to worry about, just a sleeping chick! "Okay I got it, let's go before the mother comes!" she said happily as she grabbed the chick. It was still pretty small and she was sure the two of them would be safe as long as they hurried away. "My house is close by if you want to go there for a little!" she offered happily.

I haven't really been playing Sue lately, mostly it's Toki and Kadryn XD And I'll be editing this post to fill in stuff so you may get several XD Also, rules for Taming have changed, you now get to roll as a helper and we take the higher number! After all, she might come back and notice they had her chick! Going to this girl’s house… that’d be interesting! Better than waiting around for her mother to finish talking! Plus she could show her how to make the mixture needed to feed the chick from her household supplies. robot kitten We fail D: I'm leaving it open so if you want the mother could come after them and it escape that way? 29 + 20 - 10 = 39, fail Ismene smiled. They seemed to be in the clear, that was good becuase she didn't want her or her new friend to get hurt from the protective mother. "Videe?" she said the name, letting it roll off her tongue. "I like it." It was a good name, but it didn't help her think of a name for this one. Maybe Bidee? That way their animals had similar names! She would wait till it was a little bigger to name it.
"Oh yeah? When I caught the Uruu I let her stay in my room in a corner. But they are a lot smaller. We have a empty room though, my mom says it's her office but she never even goes in there." she said excitedly. However her excitement was short lived since all of a sudden she heard a noise coming from behind her. "Uh oh..." she said as she held the chick close to her. That sounded like wings.

a pet dino So sad we failed XD Oh well~ Better luck next time right? Sueno looked up and gasped. There was a Vlidean flapping around the nest that turned and looked directly at them.. and the chick in Ismene's arms. She grabbed Ismene's arm and tugged slightly, "It's the mother!" She squeaked. "We've gotta let it go fast! They can get mean and nasty if provoked and I think we provoked it!" What to do? As much as she didn't want her or her new friend to get hurt, she also didn't want to try and fight the Vlidean for th3 chick. "Uh.. let's let it go and then run really really fast away." Time was running out though as she talked the Vlidean was getting closer ad was starting to screech. 232/300

Ismene's eyes went wide. They were so close! She looked back at her home and than the chick in her arms, and finally Sueno. Her new found friend was right, sadly. She had to let the chick go, and even than there was no guarantee that the two girls would be safe. They needed to go somewhere that the mother couldn't see them in order to be safe.
"Okay, my house is that one right there! We should hide inside. Come on!" she said as she let go of the chick and grabbed Sueno's hand. She didn't even look back as she ran, she didn't want to see the Vlidean mother!
As soon as they reached her house Ismene ripped open the door, shutting it and leaning against it as soon as she was sure that Sueno was in the house. "Well that didn't go as planned." she said with a faint smile. She was happy to be safe.

a pet dino and that's a wrap! Now I can go do more tamings with Sue XD Sueno ran after Ismene and ducked inside. "Drat, we almost had it!" She said. Then she heard her mother calling her.. Peeking out the window she saw the Vlidean hiss and then fly off with its nestling as Liopa came striding down the street. "There's my Ma. Guess Ah gotta go now." She said to Ismene. "Was nice meetin' ye! Maybe Ah can come back here and talk to ye some other time! Or ye can come and visit the farms and find me there and Ah can show ye my Vlidean!" She dashed outside to her mother's side. Hopefully with mother here, the bird won't attack! Where have you been?" "Meetin' a new friend! We tried to get the chick in that nest but..." She shrugged and grinned as they walked down the street. "Ugh! Not another Vlidean! Videe is noisy enough!" Sueno waved her hand, " Wasnna fer me! But the mother came back to soon." She sighed then looked up. "Shoppin' now?"Lipa smiled and nodded, "Shopping then home."
