Step 1 Roll 1 d100 to see if you succeed or not. RP the results. Pick a creature you wish to tame, make sure you know all it's +/- to your die roll and any requirements it has. Read up on it's bio in the creature thread to find out its habitat and anything special you'll need to know. The capturing stage needs to have your character going out and stalking the creature, learning its habits, and then setting a trap, stealing an egg or cub, that sort of thing. If you don't have something along this line then this adventure won't count towards anything. You will be pm-ed to tell you that you need to re-write it to make it count. You need 300 plus words to continue to the next step. If you succeed, go to step 2. If you fail, the animal is either killed or escapes as you try to capture it. Make sure your rp response shows where you failed or succeeded! If you fail here and want the rp req, you need 500 words instead of 300. Second Taming Attempt: Need 80-100 to succeed. Rolled: 58 +10(Uruu special)= 68. Fail!

Over breakfast, Sueno heard that one of their neighbors had lost all their Uruu’s last night. “Apparently they forgot to lock the coop’s door and they escaped.” Her mother sighed. “What a waste! Now they have to go out and capture them all today otherwise the stupid things will all end up a wild beasts meal!” Sueno perked up at this. Capturing? She wanted to help! Maybe it’d give her experience in catching and animal… and maybe she could try to keep it? Or not. It did belong to another person, so… She sighed and shook her head. She wouldn’t keep it, but it would make for a fun afternoon! “Mum, Ah’m gonna go help ‘em! It’ll help me with mah training for a taming future!” She waved her fork about as she declared this with a big grin. Her parents merely smiled and patted her on the head. It was a good thing their little girl was thinking of ways to help her older brother once he inherited the farm! Not that Sueno was thinking of it that way, nor did Madryn who didn’t want the farm. She just wanted to be a farmer and tamer! Later that afternoon, she was outside hunting in the woods about the neighbor’s farm. She wasn’t the only one and she waved hello to some of her other friends. She chatted and had a light snack with them as they caught up and gossiped as girls were want to do before heading back into the woods. In the woods, she looked for any of the Uruu’s bright yellow fur until she finally spotted some. Smiling she scampered along the tiny, overgrown path that was barely there. Along it she found other small bits of fur and knew she was on the right path. Above her in the trees, was an older boy, following her since SUeno’s father had badgered him into keeping an eye out on his little girl while she was out wandering the woods. In fact, there were quite a few hunters in the woods helping out and keeping an eye on the children. THe scare of the Peisio Dragons a few years back still worried the parents and when alot of children were going to be in the woods, they made sure there were adults nearby to keep them safe!
Sueno hurried along happily and oblivious. Caring only for finding the Uruu, she followed the twisting winding path deeper into the forest. Eventually she ran into a large trees where, when she looked up, lots of Uruu’s where nesting in it’s bows! She pouted and sighed. She couldn’t get up there! BUt maybe if she led adults here they would help. As she looked up she spotted figures in the canopies. Guess I don’t need to go fetch them! They’re already here! She giggled as she watched them quickly and systematically gather up the cheeping Uruu’s into large nets and fly off with them. I wanna fly too, she thought, but my wings are too small. The boy who’d been following her dropped down next to her. “Let’s get you back home, lass.” She looked up and grinned, “Can ye fly me home?” She asked winningly.
