Plot Summary!

Well hello there! I suppose you're wondering what all the hubbub is. I'm Ganon the Bard, lemme see if I can break things down for you. And here to assist me is my lovely assistant, the ineffable dragon bard, Nils!

Hey, guys! As Ganon just said, I'm Nils! And, well, I'm here to help both Ganon and you out here!

So please enjoy a lovely tune on mandolin and flute while we spin you a yarn. From what's happening right now. So it's not really being spun so much as recounted.

Quick little overview here.
Loki's up to his shenanigans again, blahblahblah, but this time his servant Margarette, aka Granny Nergal, has found Mika and Synra and brought them back! Loki has turned poor Mika against FEF and given her incredible morph-making power and the aid of the resurrected Nine Heroes, who supposedly defeated Loki a long time ago. Now she's back to avenge her sister, and wants to take FEF out of the picture for her new master.

The Nine Heroes (and friends)

Kyros, The Dread Reaver is the de facto leader of the Nine Heroes. He is a mighty warrior from Mordache who wields the cursed axe Dullahan. It's said that he could cleave mountains in two and bring them down atop enemy armies. He's also a gourmet chef and fancies himself a father figure to the other heroes. Little is known about him before he became the leader of the heroes, but rumors of dark secrets haunt his past.

Teifi, The Fleetfoot is the mother, if Kyros is the father. This dancer from Crimea wields the blessed scarf Brisecschal, which boosts her powers of wind magic enormously. She fights by dancing, creating invisible blades of wind from her movements. While Kyros perceptions of fatherhood are more like an inside joke, Teifi takes her motherly role very seriously, to the extreme of projecting childlike behaviors and emotions onto the other heroes, especially Castello. Though some say that she was promiscuous with the other heroes, those who knew her said that one of her most curious traits was her chastity. She jealously guards those who are close to her and tries to sequester them to prevent them from leaving her-- such as Amelia.

Shento, the Dragon's Bane is a deadly sniper from unknown lands. He speaks very little Learanian, but the other heroes rarely seem to have trouble understanding him when he speaks in his own foreign tongue. He wields the magic bow Donarco, which fires arrows of Thunder magic with pinpoint accuracy. He was a hero in the war against the Dragons in his homeland, and can bring down dragons with a single full-power shot. Curiously, he has taken a liking to Melethia upon first seeing her, calling her Katalis.

Misura, the Demonslayer is a Beranthian general whose strength is in killing magic users. Trained in a country at war with a country of mages, she grew powerful under the tutelage of her master, whom it is said she loved. They say she forged her own runed blade, Vezra, to avenge her master, and used it to turn her foes' magic back upon them. She is considered cold and aloof, and distrusts most users of magic. However, there is supposedly a relationship between Misura and Jyoti...

Jyoti, the Exalted Rose is a Frelian Valkyrie. Beautiful and mysterious, little is known about her life before she came to Learania. She brought with her the Light tome Antaram, which imprisons and torturously kills her foes with blossoms of Light magic. She is described as bubbly and enthusiastically friendly, providing a sharp contrast to Misura, who some believe was her lover. She verbally denied any such relationship, however, if pressed. Nasty rumors abound that she has a habit of tearing interpersonal relationships apart out of jealousy, but if they are true, then she is very good at looking innocent.

Evelyn, the Beastmistress is a mighty wielder of Dark magic from Grado. It is said that she was a prodigy as a student and eventually developed her own tome, Chizakura. Similar to Jyoti's Antaram, Chizakura attacks the enemy with flower petals, but instead of incarcerating, it is capable of inflicting poison. She is also capable of using Chizakura to help her summon up monsters from the realms of Dark magic-- Wights, Maelduin, and Gorgons as examples. She has the curious power to control these creatures, including Triumph, her talking Gwyllgi mount. Although Evelyn is normally a bit on the cold, perhaps sadistic side, Triumph has been known to bring out the playful, humorous side of her.

Castello, the Crestbearer is the only non-human hero. Castello is a Raven laguz, and the oldest of the heroes despite his behavior. He rarely transforms, instead remaining in his winged laguz form as much as possible. This is because he bears the Tervingi Crest, a powerful artifact of the Luck god. The Crest gives him incredible power in his transformed state, but it also causes him to go berserk. Castello is a handsome, roguish troublemaker whose nimble fingers have performed unbelievable acts of pick-pocketing. He uses his looks to his advantage whenever possible, and enjoys pulling pranks and napping. His irresponsible and rebellious attitude has endeared him to Teifi, who regards him as an errant son. It is a little-known fact, unknown even to Teifi, that he had a son with a beorc woman in Crimea before he came to Learania, and abandoned them when he lost his wings. The Tervingi Crest gives him his wings and powers back so long as he is wearing it.

Domanova the Brilliant is an Etrurian Sage of great power and great curiosity. With a habit of inspecting (and dissecting) things, he has amassed great knowledge of anatomy and the way that humans and animals work. Despite his magical prowess, Domanova's greatest love is science. He had his own assistant, Charles, who traveled with the Heroes, helping Domanova to chronicle his adventures and scientific discoveries along the way. He wields the blessed Anima tome Espinne, which allows him to summon magical vines with dagger-like thorns. He was known for being a bit cold and impersonal with the others.

Ledreak, the Slayer of the Spider Priest is without a doubt one of the most curious of the nine. The legendary halberdier stands out not due to his black skin or enormous afro, but because of his loud, crass, and unexpected personality. Quick-tempered and rude, Ledreak has no problem at all intruding upon others or recklessly approaching touchy subjects, and usually approaches them loudly enough for the whole house to hear. In battle, he wields the great lance Graver with deadly accuracy and power. He claims credit for the famous defeat of the terrible Spider Priest, backed up by his fellow heroes. Curiously, he rarely uses Graver, but instead fights with a simple iron crowbar unless he needs to use his more powerful lance.

Family Reunion
Oh jeez. Mika, Madriana's sister, is apparently back. Her grandmother-- Nergal's mother-- found her on my homeworld and brought her back to see the Dark God Loki, along with Synra! Wow, Loki looks a lot better without the cloak, huh Nils?

He does! It's not what I expected, honestly...

Anyway, he has a new nasty little plan to take care of FEF, and he wants Mika's help this time! Loki even convinced her that FEF had killed her sister and grandmother! He sent her off with her granny to collect a lot of special weapons for some reason. Something about calling some of his... old friends...

Just go read the thread, it's pretty important and explains a lot!

And it also raises a lot of questions. Ain't that a bi--

Ganon, watch your language! There might be little kids listening!
D: I was gonna say "bit confusing"!

A Special Occasion (Part 1)
Anyways. Meanwhile, in Eyris, a festival celebrating the third anniversary of the town was beginning! After a speech from Nino, the ribbon was cut and people began to flood in, a small, little bard nearly getting trampled in the process... Yeah. That was me.

Moving on... The people dispersed, going off and doing their own things either in groups or by themselves. Some went to get some of the delicious festival food, some went to play games and win some prizes, some went off to socialize with others, some headed off to the local arena to test their luck, and some went to listen to tale of the nine heroes, told by Ganon himself! Very good job, by the way. I was impressed!

Oh, really? Thank you, it's always nice to be complimented by another artist. Your red-haired friend had quite the interesting story, himself!
Ah, I'll make sure to tell him you said that!

Amongst the festival attenders was FEFGA, the resident spirit. She was just enjoying herself when she felt something going on at the manor. She quickly soared back to the manor to stop whatever was happening...

Lonely Manor

And during all that, Mika had spent the past few days collecting eight of the nine weapons. She arrived at Fefga's house, where the Espinne tome was hidden, and went immediately to the library to find the secret passage to Fefga's chamber. Who'd have thought it would be there?

Not Rei, probably, or he'd have been reading it. Rei was unfortunately in the library at the time, and Mika was freshly pissed from being told FEF killed her sister. There was a short confrontation, but Mika brought Rei down with a blast of Hell. She got Espinne and took it and Rei's unconscious body back to Loki at the shrine!

Loki was seriously planning something. He had Synra there, and he told Mika she sympathized with us. He put the weapons in the hands of all the statues around the big scary one in the shrine, and then he...

I don't know how to tell you guys this. He killed Synra. Got her blood all over the statues, and put some magic into them! And then he... he turned Rei to stone!

And the Nine Heroes... woke up.

He sent them all to Eyris, without any explanation, but... he seems confident they're on his side. And he made Margarette, AKA Granny N, hot. Seriously, go check out her fine body. >.>

A Special Occasion (Part 2)
... Okay, so the heroes got sent to Eyris. Shento immediately disappeared into the shadows, keeping himself out of sight. The other heroes, however, started to draw a small crowd. So, what did the reawakened heroes decide to do?

... Why, go off and eat lunch with some members, of course! They were very, very hungry.

Even I can't go five hundred years without food, Nils. These guys are amazing. >.>

Now, before we continue forward with the tale, there's an important point I have to cover. The magic that awakened the heroes also had two effects. One, Ed started to feel some pain from it. I wonder why...

Me, too... worries the hell out of me. I hope she's okay...

Two, a Entombed by the name of Charles awoke! To make this even stranger, Charles is actually Domanova's old assistant! Very, very strange...

A Heroic Luncheon
Anyway, about that lunch! The heroes arrived one by one and in small groups. Domanova arrived early on with old Charles, who caused a bit of a stir with the other patrons. Nobody seemed to recognize the Nine Heroes, which I found a little odd considering I just told a story all about them. Jeez. Granted, I didn't exactly include pictures.

In any case, the heroes seem charismatic enough to draw a crowd anyway! People just poured in and that restaurant did some pretty good business. Charles was allowed to join the Nine Heroes at their table, and poor Amelia was all but forced to. Triumph, Evelyn's talking Gwyllgi mount, arrived shortly thereafter, and Ledreak showed up on a horse that Jyoti named Victory, after her old horse from eons ago.

They all got up pretty suddenly, though, a little ways into the meal. They seemed like they were in a hurry, but didn't know why...

FEFGAs House (Part 1)
... But first, I'm going to backtrack yet again. Sorry, guys!

So, while the festival was going on, Rhys had decided to head back to the manor.
He was the first to see the destruction of the library, which was caused by Rei and Mika. He was also the first to figure out where Rei had gone, the information given to him by FEFGA herself.
He also got the chance to see Soren-- no, Neros. And it was a rather, uhm... interesting sight, to say the least. I can't think of a better word than "interesting" to describe Neros...
(Geez, milord, that's a lot that you did. <<)

FEFGAs House (Part 2)
Ooh, I got this part, Nils. See, all that in part 1 was happening while the heroes were eating lunch. But then Mika showed up and sort of... called them. Apparently Loki's given her some strange new powers, because that's when the heroes all left the restaurant. Shento apparently got there first, followed by Castello and then Evelyn on Triumph.

As others started arriving, Mika took down the barrier around Fefga's House-- the one that keeps bad guys out. And she did it without even hardly trying! She's one tough cookie, these days. She also spotted Amelia spying on them, and Castello captured her! This is gonna be really, really bad.

Oh, and... Teifi seems to have gone somewhere...

... Oh, jeez, Nils, can you cover Unchained Serenade? I need to get over there. >.>

A-Alright!

Unchained Serenade
So, Unchained Serenade. This is, put simply, a battle between Teifi, hero of the past who wields a mighty sash, and Ganon, our resident bard who can use Bardsong as a weapon!
... You really need to show me how to do that sometime, Ganon. It looks awesome and rather useful.

The battle is rather evenly matched right now, literally matching blow for blow... But, like with all battles, things can change in an instant.

Ah-ahh... it's over... oh god my hands... ._.
I bet they hurt... Just be careful with them for a while, alright? Can't have you getting hurt anymore...

... Oh, right. The outcome of the battle. It was a draw. Although Ganon was technically the first to fall, having his violin's E-string snap and then collapse soon afterwords, Teifi lasted for maybe an additional moment before she collapsed as well, twisting her ankle rather painfully in the process.

FEFGAs House (Part 3)
Back at Fefga's, apparently while I was out getting my tail handed to me, looks like people were getting a little suspicious. FEF seems to get in enough trouble that some people get a natural sense for when something's wrong. And more importantly, some actually have a supernatural sense for impending danger.

Rhys surrendered and came out to meet Amelia and the Heroes and Mika just before... Well, jeez, I've never seen Fefga so angry! She had the whole mansion shooting light magic at Mika, but Mika was blocking them with her dark magic, and fighting back, and it looks like Loki's magic is more potent than Fefga's... This doesn't look good, does it? D:

And then Mika made this huge beast out of dark magic! But FEFGA made one out of light magic, and they fought and nearly killed everybody. The heroes scattered while people watched in hiding. Also, there seems to be a little... action going on between Shento and Melethia. And not the kind of action you'd think.

Mika's monster won... and disappeared after... Oh gods, I hope Fefga isn't gone forever...

The heroes took over Fefga's house after that, and held Amelia and Rhys inside. They don't seem too good at the prisoners thing, but I can't imagine it's ever been something they've had to do. Castello went out to keep Isadora and Nino out... But Isadora chose to send Nino away and surrender to ensure the safety of Rhys and Amelia. That makes three captives.

Mika woke up from her post-magic nap about then and was drawn down to the Door. And... Loki opened it up!? He gave her tons of quintessence, the power to make as many morphs as she wanted. So she made about four hundred.

She sent them out into the forest to begin exacting her revenge on FEF, and oh, did they. She also... made a morph of Madriana!?

A Ride Into Adventure
So, while all the stuff in FEFGAs House (Part 2) up to part three was happening, some people were still back at the festival grounds, socializing and wondering what in the world was happening and why everyone was heading up to the manor. It was all relatively peaceful, though.

That peace was shattered when the morphs began flooding in. A fight broke out, but the FEFers were eventually forced to flee Eyris, injured, tired, and overwhelmed.

The Revolution of Eyris
Loki's been up to his sneaky shenanigans again! And this time it was in Eyris. Looks like he wandered through, taking different forms, and spread rumors... which are all, unfortunately, based in truth. Now the people of Eyris are up in arms because they know FEF is attacking the ancient Heroes! Although, they believe the heroes are back to vanquish the Dark God once again...

And Vaida's been made the new Captain of the Castle Guard. So we're ALL in trouble.

Retreat to the Mountaintops
And so the FEFers were forced to retreat. Spirits were low, having just been kicked out of Eyris and all. Sure, there were some heartwarming moments, but generally there was a veil of melancholy over all. With some people, it was just terrible, especially for Canas...

After the fight against the army of morphs, there were injuries pretty much all around. The bishop Victoria made sure that the FEFers were healed until she could barely stand herself.

... Pretty much, things were not looking too bright. However, Sue, along with Valter, the Fire Dragon, and myself decided to go in search of food (seems... kind of familiar).
Leon, a member of the Watch, also started rallying people to watch and protect the FEFers. He got Alihi, Jin, Blossom, and Ephraim to help as well.

And then... they heard and saw something in the distance. They learned later that it was from a hero's spell...

Revolution of Eyris (Part 2)
Poor Ed! I left her in my cart while I went to help at Fefga's, and I got sidetracked and nearly killed! I'm just lucky Annis found me and managed to walk me back to Eyris, in one of the gates without rioters, and back behind the barricade. Apparently, Steely Dan found Ed and took her to the barricade, too, and Hatmon showed up to help as well!

There's some nice conversation here, a good bit with Leena and Magnet, some Ed/Ganon/Hatmon interaction. Annis and Large chatted for a bit, and then Needles showed up to shoo Annis away. Protecting her territory, maybe? ;D

Oh yeah, and remember Adele? She's back in town, causing trouble on the riot side of the barricade. Clang's taking care of it, though, looks like.

And Castello showed up, too! He stole a sword and ran into Annis, and since then they've gone out on... a date? Wow. He works fast. It also seems that Annis doesn't know how to transform, and...

Castello has a son!?

With a beorc!?

FEFGAs House (Part 4)
Backtracking quite a bit now, actually, to sometime after the FEFers were forced to retreat. At the manor, it was... dinner time? Kyros decided to make some Minestrone soup and serve it to the group. Sure sounds good...

A-anyways, while the heroes and captives were eating their soup, Octavio decided to spy from behind a door! However, he was spotted and tacked by Neros. After a bit of yelling and explaination, Neros vanished once more, leaving Octavio to retreat back into the basement.
However... he ran into Lucius, who had just walked through The Door.
Actually, the more accurate term here would be "fell on", since he did literally fall on Lucius.

After a bit of embarrassment, the two headed off together in search of the captives. Now, both the captives and the heroes went their separate ways; some went off to rest, some went off to the library, and others decided to hang around and do other things. All of them were located eventually, though, and they started to head through a passage in the library...

Little did they know, Teifi was following them. Mel had stayed behind to buy the group more time, and Teifi took Amelia away and collapsed the tunnel they were escaping out of, making it unusable anymore! Rhys, Isadora, Octavio, and Lucius did manage to escape, though.

This did not please Mika at all. After a bit of, erm... nudity, courtesy of Castello, he headed out, winding up in Eyris and doing the things just explained by Ganon.

... Mm. Anyways. Evelyn, Triumph, and a bunch of morphs were sent after the escapees. Things were about to turn rather bad...

Darkness Pursues
Things are really getting out of control when the captives who managed to escape Fefga's get out into the open air. Mika sent her morphs after them, along with the Beastmistress, Evelyn, and her Gwyllgi mount Triumph! The group did their best to sneak through the woods, but were spotted by a large group of morphs and were only saved from ambush by Lance, who had disguised himself among the other morphs to avoid being killed. Isadora rushed in to save him, thank the gods.

Embroiled in battle, the group hoped to retreat and escape, but that's when Evelyn arrived and used her sacred tome, Chizakura! The versatile tome spelled death until the FEFers who had escaped to the mountains heard the commotion and came to lend their aid.

The surprising reappearance of Soren turned the tides of the battle as he blew away Chizakura's petals, so Evelyn revealed her rare power to control monsters! Using Chizakura, she spread poison across the battlefield and called up all manner of terrible monsters to help her fight, once more evening the playing field.

She underestimated the sheer power of FEF, though, and was forced to fight a defensive battle while she sent for reinforcements. It was not long before Misura, the Sword Armor of the Nine Heroes, and the Valkyrie Hero Jyoti arrived. Misura's massive sword Vezra proved to surprise the magic users who thought a General would be an easy target. It absorbed and reflected their magic as they attacked, turning their own power back on them!

Jyoti was no less dangerous. Her own tome, Antaram, let her imprison and attack her foes at her leisure with cages and explosions of light magic. None of them, however, expected the arrival of Hikaru the Fire Dragon on the side of FEF! He laid waste to the morph forces while the heroes struggled to deal with him. Fortunately, Shento the Dragon's Bane was not present on the battlefield.

As an amusing side note, Isadora was saved from Evelyn by Triumph, who in the midst of battle was distracted by the Dame Knight's thrown Spear and decided to play fetch.

However, Evelyn's rage grew steadily during Triumph's game, and at last she ordered him to stop and, in desperation, summoned up a Draco Zombie! As it turns out, the mighty beast can only stand as long as Evelyn is nearby, but will take energy from her to remain invincible until she leaves its range.

As FEF fought the monster's advance, Loch, the fallen Gray Heron Sage, managed to steal Antaram from Jyoti! The Valkyrie took off after him, and now Misura and Evelyn are faced with two dragons: Hikaru the Fire Dragon and Fa the Divine Dragon. Very, very interesting...

FEFGAs House (Part 5)
Meanwhile, back at the manor, Teifi started to care for her "daughter", Amelia. When Amelia awoke, she mistook Teifi for her own mother, calling her "mom". The dancer was truly happy about this feat, since Amelia apparently accepted Teifi as her mother.

However, Renault appeared, obviously angry by the closeness of Teifi and his daughter.
Renault, though... oh god, he changed so much since the last time I saw him... His whole left side appeared as if were deteriorating or something... His hair was unkempt, too, and his eyes were different, with traces of gold... He's... different...

... A-anyways, Renault and Teifi had a rather harsh conversation which even led to some bloodshed. During it, Amelia was knocked out by a fist to the back of the head, set up so it appeared to be Renault's doing. The blow, though, was delivered by Teifi.

Renault eventually left Amelia alone with Teifi. He left a note in her hands, though, and giving her a kiss on the forehead (d'aww).

The bishop's next destination turned out to be the attic, where Neros was dwelling. Melethia, too, made her way up there after burning a hole in the ceiling.

It was in front of those two that Renault revealed exactly what was causing what was happening to him. His body, which was partly like a morph's, was beginning to die out. He found himself needing more and more quintessence to keep himself from losing control of himself. The bishop needed a new body, so he turned to Neros for help. In exchange, Renault promised Neros the knowledge of quintessence... and a small vial, filled with the quintessence of someone that they both knew.

Neros (and Melethia, who wanted to help as well) agreed.

Sunny-Side Up!
As the next morning rolled around, Kyros readied some breakfast at Fefga's and took it upstairs to Teifi and Amelia. Castello returned from his little date with Annis, looking pleased with the way things went! Oh, my.

Teifi tried to convince Amelia that Renault had never returned, but when the little General saw the note her surrogate father had left in her hand, she knew Teifi was lying. She actually punched Teifi in the face and ran out. Even passed Castello on the stairs. When he got upstairs and found Teifi unconscious, he ran to find Kyros. By the time Teifi woke up, no one was around, and she left the house on her own...

There's also a nice bit there with Shento and Melethia, for all our Shenethia fans.

Sing A Sad Song For Me
I... I'll cover this part.

Teifi searched all over for someone, anyone, but no one was there. Devastated, she ran, continuing her search.

... It was then that she found Ganon. They sat for a bit, just talking casually... Teifi, however, decided to reveal her own story, of her life being a hero and a bit of her life in Tellius. She then revealed a shocking truth; the Heroes did not defeat the Dark God... they were defeated by him.

After that, she snapped, wanting Ganon to be her son. He said no, however, and tried to get Teifi to stop her nonsense... However, they were forced into combat once more. Ganon tried to stop her, but... ...

-takes a deep breath- ... Teifi ended up getting stabbed through the chest with... Ganon's weapon... I-I'm so sorry... ...

... I need to finish this. As Teifi was dying, she entrusted Ganon with her blessed scarf, Briseshal, telling him to give it to a dancer.
With that, Teifi's eyes closed for good, and Ganon headed towards the mountains, where the FEFers had their camp...

... Oh, geez, this is a lot of story to tell. So much more than I expected. So, we're going to let other storytellers come up and take over from time to time!

We Must Return
Hello. This is the resident female nomad, Sue here speaking… I’m here to tell of what happened in the topic of “We Must Return!”

I escaped the pursuing Darkness with Lance in tow, quickly managing to pull him away from danger before Jyoti could pull back her offer of a truce. However, it turned out that Lance hadn’t escaped danger yet, for in his half-sleep daze, he thought Jyoti was being his captor, (instead of me rescuing him) so he ended up propelling himself right into a river with a very strong current!

After I found the Watch’s Knight Leon by pure chance and his eventual waking… both of us horsemen gave chase to no avail. It was a good thing that Blossom was there to snatch him, or who knows where he would have ended up?

First aid measures were made towards the injured ones in my small group, and after some antics from the still half-dazed thief; we made it to camp.

When we arrived back at the camp, from battle or otherwise, Ganon the bard also came with grim news that the dancer, Teifi was accidentally killed in a battle with him. Upon hearing that, there seemed to be a solemn mood coming over all the exiles… while Ninian was blessed with the scarf, Brisecschal.

Burning Passion
...Jin here. If you've seen me, hello again. If not... then it means I'm staying hidden well enough. Though I did not take part in this titanic clash between General Misura and the Fire Dragon, I was an observer, and can tell you what I recall.
You know, Nergal himself wanted to take control of dragons once... I got to see why. The incredible power and searing heat that was Flametongue! Only a fighter of Misura's calibur could hope to stand against its might. And, well... stand against it she did. She even managed to get close enough to strike him! He was injured pretty badly. I-I think it ended in a draw somehow... I believe the Fire Dragon must have fallen on top of her or something, because she looked as though she'd nearly been flattened by something heavy.

I'm sorry I didn't heal him, Nils... I would have, really. I just got smacked silly by his tail during the fighting and didn't find him before you did.

Don't worry about it... It's alright.

Seeking Hope Within Despair
...Then I suppose it is my turn, ne? My name is Loch, and I am a inconsequential Heron led by the threads of Fate. This tale was rather short, as it was but a transition to what was yet to come. Having taken the Holy Valkyrie Jyoti's personal tome Antaram for myself to study, I found it best to return the tome to the young girl when I had finished with it. So I picked a distant field within Learania, and I lay in wait for her to come. She came, as expected, but unfortunately the weather was rather cruel this day. I wished to find the answers to some questions I had been wondering about for some time.

The Valkyrie was adamant, however, that her actions were governed not by a higher force, but by her own ambition and will. Unsatisfied, I continued to press the point further, and it was not surprising when she lashed out at me with her other tome, Aura. I avoided the first attack and continued forward with my questioning. Her attacks became much more violent, and I regrettably had to injure her mildly in my counterattack.

Seeing that further questioning was at that point futile, I healed her against her will and gave her the tome she'd come to reclaim. With that, she left, ominously foreshadowing our next encounter.

Darkness Pursues (Part 2)
Okay, let’s continue on with “Darkness Pursues”!

The Draco Zombie was still standing strong, despite the attacks of Isadora, Rhys, Victoria, and Fa! I couldn’t do much to help there, so I was standing by Hikaru, giving him whatever support I could (which wasn’t a lot, actually... Sorry, Hikaru), when Shinon appeared, asking if I needed help. And, well, I didn’t, and eventually I got so angry at him that I, erm... went on an angry rant and ended up smacking a morph in the face with my flute.

Eh heh heh... anyways. Soon after, my nephew, Roy, came by and we battled together.
(I’m so proud of him. That show-off. -sniffle-)

Amelia came back! She, along with Rosen (Soren?) headed over to the group fighting the Draco Zombie, where Amelia was reunited with Rhys. She gave him a package, which apparently had meat buns inside. Strange, but I’m not going to question it...
With the order from Isadora, Victoria and Rhys went off to try and find Evelyn and take her down.

Castello appeared, telling Evelyn that Teifi has gone missing. So, Evelyn let the Dracozombie disappear and she ran off to search for the dancer.

Soon, the only things that were left to deal with were the remaining morphs and the forest fire. With an amazing display of magic by Rosen, the fire was put out and he fell into unconsciousness. Rhys did as well, leaving the rest of us to fight off the morphs.

Shortly after, Renault appeared. He went to Amelia and explained to her about his “condition”, and why he now had the golden eyes of a morph. He had to in order to stay alive...

With no reason left to fight, the remaining FEFers retreated back to camp...

The Revolution of Eyris (Part 3)
Um.. hello FEF. I’m new to the guild, my name is Leena. I’m a vendor of magical and non-magical jewelery in Eyris!

This is what happened in our homeland, while everyone else was away! *innocent smile*

After Castello revealed to Annis that he had a son with a beorc, he showed the Tervingi Crest, that which allowed him to regain his wings. There was a touching moment where he said he could teach her how to take her Raven form again! Aww! The two flew away to Castello’s old hunting grounds soon after… I wonder what he had to ‘teach’ her, huh? <3

Ed and Hatmon also showed more curiosity to each others’ origins. Aren’t kindred spirits so nice? They were also keeping Ganon company.

Myself and Aran were having a nice little chat about the situation, as he was the only one in the mess hall from Dan’s squad! I couldn’t believe it. I found out he was a member of FEF and the Watch, and was just as torn between them as I was. At least I wasn’t the only one. I tried my best to make a good impression on a new customer, anyhow. I hope I did a good job.

Afterwards, a nervous new officer, Mihira came barreling down the hallway to run into the new Guard Captain, Miss Vaida. It seemed like through scouting, she located the FEFers at the area they were camping! Thank goodness they’re safe…but what’s this? A battle? Dracozombies?

Anyway, Vaida ordered both the flight of wyvern riders, as well as keeping the riots under control. It seemed she was intent on talking to Captain Ghis too.

A cat came through the Door! I believe her name is Lethe. Another laguz? Wow… and she met up with her twin sister, Lyre after rescuing her (luckily) from a beorc harassing her. … I hate those types of people who harass girls.

Back inside the castle, a very angry Vaida called Captain Ghis out… and it took Javert to awaken him! … the first the thing the Captain in question saw was that big chest, and in turn, Vaida immediately demanded where he stood, whether or not he believed the rumors (all the while having to point out where her face was), and he finally answered that he didn’t. There was slight apprehension amongst the Watch more rumors spreading, but it didn’t explode into violence, luckily.

Sophia, one of our crewmembers in the meantime had been trapped inside the castle walls, too afraid to go outside (it’s understandable with those rioters!), and the Manakete Kris came to tell her of all the outside world’s happenings.

A meeting of Vika and Neros occurred, Neros having separated from Melethia… whom I believe were both looking for a quintessence source for Renault. Anyway, the raven and mage fallen to darkness met… and they made an alliance, swearing to destroy Mika.

And then eventually came the call to arms from Vaida’s orders… and I watched as all the Watch members brave enough to fight set out. I went to the forge to help them, working diligently on the Dragonshield and praying for their safe return.

We Must Return (Part 2)
Hi, people! It’s me, Amara! <3 And I’m here to fill in part of the story~
(Maybe I should have brought some glue. Hm.)

So, people started to return from fighting! Yay! <3 First, there was Isadora and Rhys and Rosen, which Sue helped with! And then Victoria returned, and so did my mommy!

... A-and then my mommy held me tight, and... and... -begins to cry- M-mommy...

Oh, Amara, darling, it's okay... *picks her up and hugs her to his scaly chest* I've got it from here.

Amelia came back while Amara here had a tearful reunion with her mum, and Aidan showed up too. Everybody was kinda out of it after that fight, but Leon did his best to get spirits back up.

There was, um, breakfast, sorta, there wasn't much food until John bagged a few deer. Then while people were eating, Octavio said he could feel Loki's presence, and he wanted FEF to strike the enemy at its heart! Whoa! Bold move for a little sage.

Loch came back, and while everyone else was freaking out about not having weapons, Chickenwire and Steely Dan showed up with a wagon of supplies and reinforcements from the Eyris Watch! Apparently, Vaida's scouts in the Castle Guard had told them what was going on!

FD and Nils got back, and so did Ed... oh, and Hatmon! The two chimera girls were on the Watch wagon, and goddess I was glad to see them.

Oh, jeez, and FD proposed to Nils! Weddings all around, huh?

Octavio really took charge out there, and had everyone start marching. I couldn't go, myself. :/ I don't need to eat often, but I needed to then, and I'd been putting it off too long. I had to stay and eat and rest.

But yeah... everybody took off to take on Loki, except a few who were too tired, like me. Good luck, guys...

FEFGAs House (Part 6)
Meanwhile, back at FEFGA’s house, things were beginning to get moving. Loki spoke to Mika, ordering her to bring herself and the Heroes through the Door and defeat the FEFers! She started calling out for the Heroes and they slowly but surely came. First, it was Ledreak. Soon after, Misura returned from her battle with the Fire Dragon.

When Misura said that she wasn’t going to go without Jyoti, Mika was not too pleased. It wasn’t until Jyoti appeared that Misura and Mika did stop fighting...

Evelyn, meanwhile, finally found Teifi, leaning against a tree, dead. Evelyn refused to believe this and brought the corpse back to FEFGA’s, where the rest of the Heroes were. Castello started to freak out but was calmed down Shento, if only for a moment.

... It really was for only a moment. Castello transformed using his Crest and flew ahead of the Heroes, rapidly approaching the mountains. Evelyn was still rather tired from her battles, so she stayed behind to recover while the rest of the Heroes and Mika went through the Door.

Moments later, Neros, Vika, and Melethia went through the Door as well...

Sacrifice
Finally, the time for the final battle had arrived. The FEFers were resting, taking a moment to catch their breath before continuing the march to where Loki was.

Then... There was a loud screech from above, and the attack begun. Castello began his attack while Mika, Madriana, the rest of the Heroes (except Evelyn), and a group of morphs made their entrance.

The battle began.

Kyros told his fellow Heroes to leave Amelia to himself. Arrows from Shento’s bow rained down on the FEFers, forcing them to take shelter. Domanova attacked the group from afar with his tome.

Renault pressed forward regardless, trying to cast Luce. A shield was made by Soren, protecting the FEFers from the arrows.

Octavio took the opportunity to go and confront Loki. Soon, Octavio was forced to fight Vali while Loki...watched and ate popcorn and licorice? Eventually, Octavio got the chance to attack Loki directly, which was an opportunity he took. He casted Aesir... which only gave a little damage to Loki. With a blow from Gylfaginning, Octavio was knocked unconscious.

Outside, the battle raged on. Some were fighting Castello and some were fighting Domanova. Kyros began his assault against Amelia, enraged that she was the cause of Teifi’s death. Both Jyoti and Misura were fighting Rhys, and with a powerful slice from Vezra, Rhys was dead... that is, he would have been, if he didn’t cast Nosferatu against Jyoti a moment before, taking some of her quintessence and literally coming back to life. Mika was literally lifted up into the air by Neros, later switching to the hands of Vika. Vika couldn’t kill her, though, and was forced to retreat a bit to recover. The individual battles kept switching... it was all so chaotic and confusing.

The first (well, technically second) Hero fell. Shento charged an arrow to 100%, ready to kill Fa, who had transformed into a Divine Dragon...

But... Castello went to attack at the same time, and the arrow pierced his chest instead. He died in Annis’ arms after giving her the Tervingi Crest.

Shento was devastated that he killed Castello, and he broke down. Surely, he would die because of this... but not yet. Melethia appeared, defending Shento, the man that she loved. This shocked some of the FEFers, including Ed and Arashe. They had to fight someone who was before their ally...

Meanwhile... elsewhere, the end was rapidly approaching Jyoti and Misura. Misura was dueling with Isadora when Sue dealt the fatal blow to Misura, aiming and firing an arrow that slid through an opening in the armor, sliding through the lung and puncturing her heart.
Jyoti was fighting against Loch, running out of energy... And with a combination of Thoron and Elwind, Jyoti was going to die. She let the attack hit, asking Loch to take her to Misura before she died.
He complied, and the general and the valkyrie died side-by-side. Vezra went to Blossom, and Antaram was picked up by Rhys.

Off on the sidelines, Nino was resting and catching her breath. However, Margarette found Nino and casted Luna at her with the intent of killing the girl when suddenly, out of nowhere, a familiar person decided to reappear just in time to save Nino.

It was Rath. Rath was back, bringing along with him Abel and Deborah. Rath and Nino had a touching reunion while Abel went to go find a healer and Deborah went to attack Ledreak.

The next Hero to fall was Domanova. With the combined force of Aidan, Leon, Rhys, Victoria, and Blossom, the sage was overwhelmed and stabbed in the chest with Vezra.

Mika, finally recovered enough from the attacks from Vika, got up and began to fight again with Madriana by her side. She died at Rhys’ hand, giving Madriana the last of her power and life force before Antaram could finish.

Madriana was back. Rhys told her that she could get revenge for Mika’s death, if she so wished to.
But... Madriana didn’t want that. Instead, she helped Rhys out, showing him the way to Loki’s lair.

More reinforcements came to help out the FEFers, including Tibarn and Ayra, back from their honeymoon! Just in time, too... Tibarn gave Nino Sophos and went off to fight Kyros.

Kyros was soon overwhelmed, getting attacks from many, and finally asked Amelia to deal the final blow. She agreed and stabbed her naginata through his neck. Kyros fell, his axe, Dullahan, going to Leon. Upon getting the axe, Leon went on a bit of a rampage, though he did recover from it eventually.

Margarette had fled after failing to kill Nino. She alerted Loki of the situation and Loki dismissed her, saying that he would take care of things. At this time, Octavio was awake, though he was literally a puppet for Loki.

... Hang with me, guys. We’re almost at the end...

Shento would be the next to fall, killed by Melethia’s claw going through his chest. He had asked her to kill him, and she had to agree. Donarco, Shento’s bow, went to Rath.

And, finally, Ledreak fell, Deborah’s lance impaling his lung. Graver was picked up by Deborah.

Finally, that battle was over... but, unfortunately, the fighting was not over yet. Lead by Nino, the FEFers marched onwards, towards Loki’s lair...

( I... I found all the Heroes’ death quotes. All of them that took part in this battle, that is... [Castello] [Jyoti] [Misura] [Domanova] [Kyros] [Shento] [Ledreak] )

Until Death Do Us Part
Meanwhile, while the Heroes and the FEFers were battling it out, Evelyn and Truimph left the manor to join the Heroes. However, flying overhead were Vaida, Tori, Mihira, and Sophia.

Soon, they were locked in battle. Vaida went to face off against Evelyn, uber spear versus Chizakura, while Mihira, Sophia, and the rest of Vaida’s wyvern brigade attacked the Gargoyles that Evelyn summoned as a distraction.

Vaida’s spear proved to be a valuable weapon, created by Nergal back in Elibe, for it was able to slice through Chizakura almost effortlessly. Evelyn, however, was not done yet. Using her own blood, the beastmistress was able to use her most powerful spell: Bloody Cherry Blossoms! The petals were red instead of purple and much larger in size. The spell was hurled at Vaida...

But, with a combined attack from Vaida’s spear and Tori’s Elfire, the spell was destroyed.

Furious, Evelyn hit Triumph on the head, causing the Gwyllgi to run in circles. Evelyn still was not about to give up, but before she could launch another attack, Teifi appeared before her, speaking the hate-filled words of Evelyn’s birthmother. Next came Kyros with her birthfather’s voice, then Shento, Castello, Domanova, and Ledreak with the words of her brothers. Misura and Jyoti followed with the words of the brothers’ fiancées, and finally the moon goddess, Crimson, who sealed her voice away.

With a stab through the throat, Evelyn fell. Before she died, though, she used the last of her magic to link Truimph’s consciousness to her own, and together they reminiscence on the past, the day that Evelyn first died. Truimph promised not to die and that he would wait for her. And, in the end, they did.

Together, Evelyn and Truimph died.

Sophia quickly picked up Chizakura and went to join Vaida, Tori, and Mihira once more; the battle was not over yet...

Ragnarok
Uh, hey there, everyone. It's me, Rei, and I'm here to...uh... give you the summary for the Ragnarok thread. I figure it's the least I could do for, you know, not being around for most of that catastrophe, and I figure this'll be as interesting as Halloween's. So, uh... let's get started.

Okay. Now, as far as I can tell, pretty much everyone was actually in the final battle except the people who'd not gone to Sacrifice, Leon, the Watch, Melethia, Lance, Loch, Annis... I'm sure that you can just look up the Sacrifice summary, and you'll see something along the lines of who didn't go.

Alright, we've got that out of the way, or at least well enough for our standards. This encounter actually starts as the group began to make their way into the cave, the long, winding path ending in an absolutely huge room, bordered by dark abyss. In the distance, the group could see Loki, standing smugly over Octavio. Not so far in the distance, however, the group came across little old me, petrified on the middle of the bridge. Tears were shed, sadness was had, big deal. And then, in a rage-filled assault, Renault began to attack Loki. It would have been more... praise-worthy, but Loki shut him down with his spell, Gylfaginning, and sent him hurtling into the abyss, while all the others could do was watch in fear.

See, what Gylfaginning (what a mouthful) does, is, it makes these giant constructs, a snake and a wolf, and they zoom all over the place, destroying the living hell out of whatever they're aiming for. And then they explode. It looks pretty darn painful.

Now, after Renault fell to his likely demise, everyone began to attack. While most of the Learanian Legion used ranged attacks, Amelia, Ephraim and Ed ran forward, going into melee with the Dark God. But, after one slightly off attack, Loki managed to destroy the stone casing on my body, freeing me at last.

Once I was able to stand, I ended up attacking Loki alongside Octavio, while the onslaught continued. Rath, Hatmon, Vika and Adele appeared, all attacking Loki in their own preferred methods. After a short period of more beatings, Loki and his Felchinchilla Vali fused together, turning into a large flaming behemoth as Loki casted his spell again, this time bringing to life the wolf, Fenrir, and the serpent, Jormungandr, and setting them loose against our group.

We all managed to attack the creatures, until Loki fully turned into his second form. Oh, and then Ashera appeared and blessed everyone! It was pretty cool, until she got contained in a magic sphere. At about the same time, Nino got blessed by Fefga herself and became an Arch Sage. Then, Tibarn and Vika double-teamed the serpent, severing its spine and killing it as it thrashed around.

It took the combined effort of many people to bring Fenrir down, the final blow being struck by Amelia's naginata. After Loki's minions were destroyed, a burst of Sophia's Chizakura and Rei's Apocalypse in tandem were enough to sever one of his arms. But, it grew back. I'm sure it hurt like hell, though.

As the Dark God began to recoil, a combined assault formed: Nino's Sophos, Rath's Donarco, Soren's Rexcalibur, Sophia's Chizakura and Rei's Apocalypse. The pure energy of these five attacks combined into a force strong enough to defeat Loki. We'd defeated a god. We're just amazing like that.

As the deity disappeared, the cavern they were in was revealed to be a volcano. A now-active volcano, at that. So, everyone made their way out through various means. If you wanna see them that badly, it's the last 2 pages or so.

So, it was finally over. Loki was dead. We emerged victorious, the loss of Renault still heavy on all the hearts that had known. But, we're picking up the pieces, and moving forward. Really, everything is... at peace, for once. Oh, and the last post in the thread, made by our beloved Heath, is by far one of the most amazing, poetic things ever posted in the FEF Events.

Awaited Homecoming
Oy. I be Leon.. Lieutenant of the Watch! Er… I be readin’ m’ report on th’ Eyris epilogue, “Awaited Homecoming. These… crewmembers told me jus’ t’ show what I wrote, as… they think th’ FEFers ain’t gonna und’rstand m’ accent. Geez…
And so the conflict with Loki was over. FEF proceeded to return to their beloved home, the city Eyris, with many of them ready to prove themselves worthy of their homeland’s trust. For the most part, they set themselves on getting stronger, becoming better people, and going on with their normal, daily lives. Rhys and Amelia were to be wed, the Host Club was to plan for Nils and FD’s ceremony, and everyone else was working hard to be recognized as the true heroes of Eyris. I myself have returned to the services of Captain Daniel Leek, and am ready to serve my homeland in whatever way they need me.
I coulda said it ‘loud ya know! It woulda been better.

A Sordid Soirée
A thousand pardons for those who do not know me. For I have never made my appearance in this event. Oh, no. Indeed, I do not. However, I shall tell you the story of what really happened. Oh, yes. The ending of good vs evil has not really ended at all. And yet you wonder, who is the fellow speaking? Why, my name is Pietro de Janus. A fellow jester from Mordache.

In the land of Mordache, where wild beasts and powerful magic flown, Baroness Charolais was having a party in her bedchamber with her guests. And I must say, that was an interesting party she had. Though I wished she invited me too. Suddenly, one of her guests had turned to ashes as the bird-like humanoid entered her party unnoticed. Who was this creature, you asked? Hmm? Why, after transforming into his human form, it was none other than Loki.

The Dark God ordered Charolais some human sacrifices to rejuvenate his power as his beloved pet, Vali attacked one guest. Being the loyal servant of the Dark God, my dear baroness obliged. Once the ritual sacrifices were over, Loki asked of her status. Baroness Charolais informed that she had all the firm foothold on all the countries. All except Leanrania. Oh, yes. How trouble it was to get it.

The baroness informed that she would sent me to seek foothold into the land, but the Dark Lord disagreed. After losing his power and the gods being freed from his prison, Loki had found the guild to be some troublesome pests. Oh, yes. For they had been a thorn to his side so many.

Needed to gather his strength, the Dark God decided to stay in Mordache. For that land was his power source. Oh, yes. Indeed, it was. In furthermore, Loki had decided to use the baroness' assistance to take down his terrible woe when the time came.

And when will that time come? Hmm? Well..... We shall see in due time. Oh, yes. Indeed, we shall. To wait for the next play to come. *jestingly laugh*

God Only Knows
Hey, everyone! It's me, Amelia. I figure since... not many people were actually there for it, I might as well summarize this one. (I apologize for that, everyone was busy with reconstruction after the damage from the attacks and from the riot, and it was long overdue... ._.")

Anyway. Rhys and I got married. I asked Magnet to be our priest; we've become friends since I joined the Watch, and he was more than happy to help us. <3 Thanks, Magnet!
Someone went and vandalized the wedding rites, though... since when do husbands take their lawfully wedded wives in "sammiches and lack of sammiches?"
Other than that, it went smoothly. After "you may now kiss the bride," there was... clapping? Siegell stood up from the back, looked at me, and left.
Wait, Siegell?? He didn't try to stop the ceremony or anything, though, he just... watched... o.o
I still don't know why Siegell was there... let's hope it wasn't for something bad.
In any case, that's about it. <3 Rhys and I will see you guys after the honeymoon, 'kay~?

Of Mice and Minions
Well hello, everyone. Some of you may know me as Margarette, and those of you who haven't got the point, or are too stupid to understand still call me "Granny". I suppose I'm here to give you a summary of what happened recently. Here I go.

I had some artifacts to find for my master. It was freezing cold, but a girl has to do what a girl has to do. I found one thing for my master, a small statue, but unfortunately the other, a mask, was missing. When I joined him he was in Mordache with a certain... other servant of his. He introduced me to the little trollop and had the nerve to say she was his... favorite servant. I swear sometimes master has no regard for my own feelings... Hm...

Anyway, the first thing she did was piss me off! She even kissed me! The disgusting whore bit me, too. She made comments about MY clothing choice! I didn't choose my clothing, Master did! ... And I love it.

Well, then, master called me his adjutant, which seemed to really piss the ugly little b***h off. She even went as far as making comments on the size of my chest! Someone of such low class working for my master is hard to believe! And she continued, even after that.

She said she was better with magic. So I challenged her. She cast a wind spell, and I cast rexflame, but only as a warning. I didn't shoot. I think Charolais had become nervous, for she started yelling at me to put the fire out before I burned down the castle... Well, I think it's just because she knows I'm better! Ha!

Well, we didn't say anything else to eachother after master gave us each orders.. I was to prepare him a room and she was to go tell someone to find him books to enjoy. Well, we all know who was the most important there, don't we? Hahaha!! He would only trust me to prepare his room.. Ha... Well, that's it. That's all that happened last night, and that's all you need to know. So goodbye, for now. I'll probably end up killing you later...
