A large, armored man strolled up to the restaurant, two young women on each shoulder. Cracking a smile at the man at the entrance as he removed the girls from his shoulders, placing them directly in front of him. As if giant armor was distracting enough, heaven forbid he go into a classy restaurant carrying two young girls on him like some promiscuous vagabond! Hardly a good image for the children.
Sliding around the girls, Kyros leisurely walked through the front door, letting out a peaceful sigh as the aroma of fine food filled his senses. He was in his element: Eyris, where there was always trouble, and in a restaurant, no less. He glanced back at Amelia and Jyoti, smiling at them, waiting for them to follow him in.
"Come on! Aren't you hungry?" He smiled, and entered the main lobby, glancing around, as if he'd see a long lost friend nearby.

Sue had followed the group inside. Unlike usual, the 'quiet' little establishment was bustling with activity. They got good business on the days of celebrations in Eyris. Now... if only those would stay celebrations.
More importantly where is Rei? It's not like him to just study, study, study. He was part of the Host Club to get away from that!
But... now was time to eat. She'd muster up the strength to search for him after that.
Andre was tied outside. He'll warn me if anything happens. He always does. The steed was impeccable at sensing nearby physical danger at least.

Amelia seemed to have relaxed a little as the trip passed, eventually rather calm on top of Kyros' broad shoulder as he walked. She had on undershorts, so she wasn't about to flash anyone, and if he could walk around in his spiked armor, she wouldn't be nearly as intimidating in her simpler armor with her lance, right?
When they finally arrived, the host at the entrance paled a little. Amelia offered a sheepish smile as Kyros put her back to the ground (pretty gently, actually, Amelia realized) and smoothed out the white fabric of her skirt over her thighs. "Uhm, table for..." she glanced back, trying to determine just how many people would be there, considering that some of her friends had trailed along, too. That alone helped keep her calm. If she had been alone... that would have been more than just a little intimidating.
"Come on! Aren't you hungry?"
Amelia turned back to Kyros, then nodded. "Right," she responded before trotting along after him.

Nino followed the group quietly into the restaurant. She smiled at the owner, who had recognized her because she'd been in there quite often. She sat down with the others.
As she sat, as usual in sort of a daydream, she wondered about Rath. Where has he been all this time? She also wondered about her son, Rei. Where has HE been?
He's not going to leave me too, is he?

Sue had to get her mind off the other people who weren't there, however. She had food to order, and then a search to conduct. The Trooper noticed Nino's expression drop into sadness. "Are you okay, Captain?" she asked her politely. They both missed the same people, it seems...

"Hm?" Snapped out of her daydream, she looked over at Sue. "Oh, yes, I'm fine." She thought for a moment.
"I was just thinking about Rath..." With that she changed the subject very quickly. "By the way, have you seen Rei today?"

______________ As his friends began piling in, Castello grinned and waved from where he sat at a large table in the back. The bird laguz had arrived well before the others, and he already had a glass of wine in his delicate-looking hand.
"Come on in, guys! I got us a table for ten, and I figure the tables around can accommodate anybody else." The place was otherwise nearly empty, of course, with everyone out at the festival. But Castello, like the other heroes, was used to Kyros' cuisine, and was not about to settle for meat fried on sticks.

"No, I haven't-" Sue was about to say more, but then she heard Castello. Come on in, guys! I got us a table for ten, and I figure the tables around can accommodate anybody else. "Ah, Captain Nino... we should get our spots... we're being offered, after all. I'm sure if we look for Rei after we eat, we'll still find him in his study. He got your diligence..."

Amelia turned her attention to the raven off in the back. Already he was drinking... something. Wine? Already? He hasn't even eaten yet. Amelia looked to the others, then started to approach. She hesitated at the table, unsure of where to sit. Other people might want to sit next to Castello, so she probably shouldn't sit there... but if she took a random seat, she might end up blocking someone off from sitting next to who they wanted to. Amelia just sort of floated near the chairs, waiting for someone's suggestion. She was entirely new to this group, after all, and didn't want to split people apart. And judging by "table for ten," she could only guess that the 10th chair was hers.

Nino and Sue sat near the table for ten. She had nodded at the suggestion that they look for Rei later. "By the way," She said, addressing Sue. "Please just call me Nino."
She began to play absentmindedly with a fork and a knife that were at her place at the table.

"But.. you're FEF's Captain!" Sue protested. "If I weren't a crewmember's daughter... I'd have to use more formalities, surely." The nomad trooper stated, not wanting to appear to be rude in public especially. "You know... I don't want anyone thinking you treat me special... different."

She looked at Sue suddenly. She was surprised by how Sue sees her. "I'm not a queen or anything. You don't have to be so formal. I'm just Nino. Really, I am. There's barely even anything special about me."

"Seriously?" The nomad blinked, surprised by her leader's statement. She supposed formalities didn't really matter... but loyalty did. "Ah, of course you think that way, or you wouldn't tell me. You'd never lie, I guess.... no. Never. Just like I'd never lie. So.." She smiled again. "I'll tell the truth, I'm really hungry."

Nino smiled. "Yeah, I am to. What does it take to get a menu in this place?" She laughed a little.
"This is actually great. I'm glad we're getting new people on the anniversary of Eyris. Maybe there isn't anything wrong with this. This is great." She grinned widely.
A waiter came and passed menus out to their table and the ones nearby, including the ten-seated table.
Nino accepted her menu and began looking over it happily.

Sue's stomach growled like a monster. She couldn't wait to have it... steak. Although nomads ate other animal meat besides beef, when she hunted the wild cattle, not the farm animals... it was the greatest. Plus the seasoning and the Nomadic grass...er... wait. No one's supposed to know about the grass.
Ahem.
So, she saw the Sacaen seasoned steak and immediately ordered it, along with some mixed vegetables with Nomadic spices. There were a few cooks here from her lands.. and boy did she love it. "That will be all... along with some tea." she smiled.
"Nino.. meeting new acquaintances is good, isn't it?"
